I've had a few goooood days this week :D.
On Wednesday, my mate asked me to go stay at her house so we can go sledging on Thurs.. So got a train up, she didn't finish work til 9 so went in the pub with a different mate for a couple of hours. Then got picked up. Another mate was staying too.. so went back to hers and watched dvds/pigged out/slept.
Then yesterday, my gosh what a day. She lives in the middle of nowhere in the country, so we walked to meet some of her mates in nearby town (half hour walk), met them and all.. then we walked to the main sledging field :p. But many obstacles on the way. Me and my other mate Lisa aren't used to the country that much, so the first field we crossed, had a horse in it. It walked up to us all, the country girls were like yeahh, it's only a horse.. me and Lisa were crapping ourselves, and we walked passed it up towards a hill, and the horse GALLOPED towards Lisa.. I ran towards my other mate, and the horse was just around Lisa. So one of the other girls had to rescue her :lol:. Then we crossed barbed wire into the next field. This field was joined with another field, and the gate of the other one was open.. there were tons of sheep in there. I was a little weary, but the other girls were like yeah it's fine don't worry. So I noticed Lisa was a bit behind, so I waited at the bottom of the hill for her, while the other girls crossed the sheep field.. then the sheep I dunno must have felt mine and Lisa's fear, cos they all started walking towards us. I was crapping myself, grabbed Lisa's arm, shouting to the other girl haha, then we didn't know what to do, so our friend told us to walk to the other end of the field and they'd meet us there.. then I noticed a cow and a BULL. THEY were walking towards us, I was absolutly nearly in tears, really terrified!!! So I thought forget walking to the other end with these things following us, so me and Lisa walked fast to the other barbed wire fence, and literally flew over it lmao, we both got cuts all up our legs from it lmao, and we had to try and cross a river then and I went first, still crapping my self thinking the bull would just go over the fence, so I walked on a branch on the river, it BROKE and my whole foot and some ankle just fell in the river! SOAKING WET now, but I didn't are, just HAD to cross that river lol was wearing converse too.. so you can imagine. Then we finally got over the river :p and that's were the fun began haha! After shaking a lot :p We sledged loads, "snowboarded" a bit. But yeah, it was fun, but OH SO SCARY. Me and Lisa are still shaking inside now :lol:. And cos the snow was bad where my mate lived, we had to stay the night again.
Ah good few days :D Sorry for the long post, just had to share it all with ya :lol:.

Only amusement I got this week was on Wednesday when the head of 6th form went onto the balcony in the 6th form centre to stop these boys throwing snowballs off of the balcony at the younger years below. He got the boys to go in and then out of the common room and was assessing what/who they'd managed to hit below. Next minute the door closed and he was locked out there because it's got push down bars a bit like a fire escape.
Wednesday also, I was packing my bag after the lesson when the teacher went outside to talk to some boys and got sidetracked then locked me in the class. The boys were laughing so much because I know them. One of them is on my bus and he started talking to me about it on the way home and was like, "I actually had to go to the toilet!"
Oh yeah and there's a padlock on the table football machine because some people were playing it when the head of 6th formk took some visitors in there. We might be losing the chocolate machine too because the firm that stock it have sent a bill for £16 or something. He thinks people have been banging it trying to get free sweets out which some obviously have been, but this girl on my bus had 2 chocolate bars come out when she put the money in for 1 a few times. He was the one saying it's an imperfect machine; it clearly is because it's giving out extra stuff.

I remember years ago me and some mates went camping one night there were eight of us four girls and four guys and we were in a field next to a load of cows and they were mooing we were terrified, me and a mate had to walk ages to find a public phone to get her dad to come and pick us up. Even I hate cows.

decided not to go over our friends house this evening, my housemate kept trying to persuade me to go but i just couldnt be bothered to go after cheerleading, which was dull cos they were sorting out positions for our competition routine

No if I do I have to wait weeks for an appointment so we are told to phone every morning to see if there is any cancelations. I think someone has made a voodoo doll of me and stabs it every so often that is what the pain feeels like.
Take some painkillers and get an early night. You'll feel slightly better for it in the morning.
Hope it's nothing too serious :)

Cheers darling I think I have just pulled a muscle at the gym, but I am never ill I don't do sick. I have been having these short stabbing pains in my left breast since last weekend, even when I have been in bed sitting reading that's why it has got me a bit worried.
I dont do ill either i am the worst patient ever
We just watched a little princess not seen that film in years, got a taxi booked to take me to station at 730 tomorrow morning, hopefully train will be running with the weather
I also found out before that my friend a girl i went to school with her mum died last weekend, i didnt realise she had been ill i really feel for her at the moment shes really devastated

Well i am up at this ridiculas hour have a taxi coming in 20 minutesnot quite feeling the walk top the station in this weather its soo cold. Then i need to fight with the self service machine to get my ticket and something to eat to wake me up but at the minute the thought of food makes me feel ill!
Checked enquiries as well and the only disruption that i have is i have to get of at Wolverhampton and get a train to new street which isnt too bad, hopefully will all run smootly but me and train do have a tendency to go wrong! Ipod fully charged to, its gonna take 3hours 45 minutes in total, should be worth it though.

I am in such a great mood considering i might of lost my best friend (but that's a completly different story) I have a date next saturday completley forgot what date it was intill he told me:p . I'm sitting here listening to the Corrs Live in London :wub: . We only have two days of school next week:thumbsup: and am quite happy with my english prelim althrough technically i failed it. By 1% was not a happy bunny but my English Teacher is happy with what i've done. And then she said my essay wasn't as long as it should have been but it was and she still doesn't believe me make's me laugh to be honest. I've sent off my college application and unfortenatly had a change of plan and i'm not heading off to Stevenson (i'm quite gutted about that actually would of been great to meet Kath!) But i'm hoping to be accepted by Carnegie for Higher Admin, History and English. And the Transisation form my Guidance teacher wrote for me actually nearly made me cry yesterday and i don't want to leave the school now. :(

i hate when theyre so close too. on a few of my portfolios/performances ive got 69 when you need 70 for a 1st!
Productive day. Tidied my room, cleaned the bathroom and started a bit of revision.
Sam has split up with his girlfriend again. Second time this week. I have no idea what's going on, he's written a really weird status on facebook which sounds like they're back together. I hope they're not, she doesn't like him spending time with anyone except herself. She's a nice lass but very controlling.

Went to a party tonight. It was quite random. Most people were really drunk, but I decided to stop at three, I hadn't eaten supper and didn't feel like getting plastered. I was going to stay over but didn't look like they were calming down anytime soon and I'd rather have my own bed! :p I'll have to pick the car up tomorrow, probably end up helping to clear up tomorrow, but I should really do some work too!
Edit: Well good I left when I did lol! A door got kicked off its hinges and paint got spilt on the carpet. :S Its all fixed now though. Bless the friends with handy diy skills. :lol:

well today there was meant to be an american football match so we had to be up at uni by 11, so i had to get up early cos i needed to straighten my hair first! anyway got up there, got ready and the game was meant to start at 1 but the ambulance wasnt there so we had to wait around for 1hr in the cold waiting for it then it still hadnt turned up so the game was cancelled! :( :angry: bit annoyed cos i wasted most of the day. so now im trying to get some work done. my housemates and my friends are going out this evening cos one of the clubs in town is free entry on a sunday (even though theres never anyone there!) ive gotta get a train really early tomorrow so i cant go but if i do enough work i might go to the bar with them first

Trying to pack my case but it's not going well. My hands are hurting again so it's slowing me down. I generally can't be bothered to do anything tonight.
Thats the thing with the whether round here, since Ive been living here Ive noticed that it will snow for a day and the snow will last for a day or two and then vanish, it just doesnt stay long enough like other places *coughs* the north east *coughs* :D So now it snows all over again and starts to cover melted places again
We don't really get snow in Yorkshire, unless you live in north Yorkshire or on the Dales or Moors. Jolly good job, I hate snow.

Oh yeah also. I am annoyed.
It's Kelly ( one of my best mate's from college ) 18th next Friday, and I'm now working 2-10. I know it was short notice to ask for it off, but it was my first day :searchme:. So I asked if I could come in earlier, and go home earlier.. but no, she said only thing is if it's quiet I can go early.. but according to people, it's always busy on a Friday :(. I am actually really pissed off, cos it's not every day Kelly turns 18 and we been planning it since last year (the end of). I'm a bit upset about it. Everyone else will be there.. and I know Kelly wants me there. She's got it off (we work same place now too). And my other mate (who works with me now too :p). They've both got it off.. :( :( :( :(.
I know it seems unfair but maybe it's because your employer will be left short staffed if two of your friends already have the day off.
Can you not change the day or time that suits you all?

Yeah but I'm new anyway so will be doing faff all. And they have like 11 staff members on that day. 2 people went home early today cos it was quiet. And even though it might busy it won't be TOO busy that they can't cope on their own for 2 hours! I want to leave at 8.
And not really. Won't be the same for her to have her 18th birthday thing on a day that isn't actually her 18th.

I've had a busy weekend!
Saturday I went to town to get birthdsay presents and that and then had work and then when I finished work at quarter past 11 I was ordered by my drunken friends to our friends 18th house party, so i went there for a an hour or 2 and had a drink.
Then I was back up and in work at 12 today and then when I finished at half 8 I had to go to my other friends house for her 18th so I stayed there for a bit and had a few drinks, it's been nice... but I hate working and missing most of the parties :(

I'll be in Newcastle for Valentine's. Pretty good idea because my part time stalker doesn't know where in Newcastle I will be :D No surprise visits. Might offer to look after my niece while my sister and her husband go out for a meal. They were going to the Lakes for the weekend but my sister hasn't been well so they cancelled. Was rather looking forward to it just being me and Maisie all weekend. Think of the fun, baking, painting, going to the beach, having a cuddle on the sofa and falling asleep :D

I love her to bits. I've got some pictures of her on my notice board, her drawings on my wardrobe, a picture of me she drew and the first time she wrote my name on my board as well. She can't write her own name or 'mummy'/'daddy' but she can write mine correctly. I'd rather be an aunty than a mother. I still tell her off if she's naughty but you can be more relaxed and not as strict as a parent is.
Semester 2 starts tomorrow, but the website with the timetables on is down, so no one knows what they have, and when. I think that's called a day off!

I had a nine oclock this morning, had a geat weekend at me nanas 80th nice seeing family and watching IReland win in the rugby got work to catch up on now though
Done something to my back/hip this morning, it is painful to walk and this afternoon I got my right index finger trapped in a door and got a gash of about 1 inch :crying:

Been to see Fame tonight. It was pretty good, not the best musical I've seen though. It needed a lot more fast paced numbers and less of the slow solos. Footloose still remains my number one fave :thumbsup:
Early start in morning. My train goes at 9.20am and mum hasn't finished my washing yet. Still have buttons to sew on my coat too. I have to be back for 1pm for a group meeting so it will be a mad rush in morning. Maybe there will be some snow falling on the tracks in Yorkshire overnight that will prevent me from getting back... :p

Went to the docs yesterday. I've got a viral infection due to having the flu before xmas and it hasn't cleared. Got some pills to take.
Hope you are feeling better soon. I went home from work after a couple of hours in the office this morning as my back is really sore when I sit or walk, not too bad when I lie down with some extra heat from my hot water bottle and some deep heat. Can't go to bellydancing tonight :(

sunday evening i went to the bar with my friends before they went off to the club. it was alright but everyone else was so drunk and i wanted to leave early and just as i was about to leave the guys started doing this thing called court which they do which is quite funny sometimes but youre not allowed to get up while its on otherwise you get punished, it goes on for ages and i really needed the loo! and the guy behind the bar was really mean, he kept moaning at me cos i just asked for tap water, i thought they were meant to give you water in bars when you ask for it?
yesterday i had to go to see a show in london for my course so i went up early and met my sis up there and we went shopping. it was good fun although it was pouring hard all day! :( we went to hamleys which is a tradition whenever we go up to london and they had someone dressed up as a hamleys bear so we got someone to take a pic of us with him haha! :D then we had lunch at this restaurant which just sells pancakes and its so nice! :D we also went to the new shopping centre thats opened in london. the show was boring though. it was in japanese with surtitles and my lecturer told us they wouldnt be much talking as it was mainly physical, well thats the biggest lie ive ever heard as it was 2hrs of almost nonstop talking! i found it difficult to read what was happening and watch at the same time so i got confused and so was just really really bored! gotta write a 500 word review on it for tomorrow and tbh i can think of about 20 words which sums the whole experience up perfectly!
today i got up really late and had to rush to get to my seminar on time even though it was at 2pm! and it was so boring, my lecturer just sits there and reads off the powerpoint even though our lecture for that module is meant to be on friday! i was almost falling asleep! then he had the cheek to ask me if i was alright cos i was really quiet today, i didnt think hed appreciate it if i told him it was cos he was boring me almost to death! then had cheerleading which was fun, learnt the dance part for the competition routine and also learnt a new stunt. just made stirfry and i think i ate too much!

Done something to my back/hip this morning, it is painful to walk and this afternoon I got my right index finger trapped in a door and got a gash of about 1 inch :crying:

I've gone down a dress size so I feel pretty good about myself, and I've had a good day today, spent most of it with my two closest friends, but we haven't been very close lately but tonight was jsut really nice :)
Then we dropped one friend home as her Muma nd Dad came back from holidays and then went to the cinema with a few other friends to see The Curious Case of Benjamin Button... I loved it! Though it did drag a little!

And it's our Sixth Form Party tomorrow but we've changed the venue to Newport in Bassment so I'm really excited because I've never been before! Got back to uni around 5pm and I've been drinking every since. Sam met me from the train station, dropped my case off then went to the student bar. Then we went to the law society meeting and ended back up at the union bar again. I'm knackered now and can't wait to have a lie in tomorrow.
Arranged with a few people from the law society to go on a pub crawl before going to the union club tomorrow night. Three guys and me, matched unit for unit. Reckon I'll be home to bed by 12am :lol:
I found a nice guy at Ember tonight. Unfortunately two of the guys I was with also noticed I was looking at him and are going to "find him for me" tomorrow when we go out.

Yesterday went in to town with my sister it was good to spend some time with her without the kids went and picked my daughter up from school and went to pizza hut....
Today had new radiator fitted in bed room as my old one was leeking water
went to see my mum as its her birthday today.. not really done alot...

im so annoyed its untrue! we had to apply for the module that we wanted to do for the whole of the 4th year (next year). got an email yesterday telling us what we had been given and i didnt get the one i wanted! :angry: the module i wanted was meant to have 15 places on it but the lecturer lowered it to 10 cos apparently it was too much marking for him to do! :rolleyes: anyway only 9 people got given that module so there is still a spare place but i got given another one so that there was enough people doing the module i got given for it to be taught next year. while i dont want the module cancelled for the people that want to do it, i dont see why i should be made to do something else instead, especially when the module i want to do isnt full! tried to find out today who i should contact about this so i could try and get it changed but apparently i have to tell my course rep, even though id rather have a meeting with them myself. it spoilt my night yesterday cos i read the email before i went out for my friends bday and cos i was so annoyed and disappointed i only went to her house for about 1hr and then left when they rest of them went to the club as i really wasnt in the mood
sorry for the rant but im so so p!$$ed off with the whole drama department, and they wonder why so many people in my year are leaving at the end of this year instead of staying for the full 4 years!
on a slightly happier note, my sis is down here today cos shes got an interview so my mum is going to buy us lunch in wetherspoons in a bit :)

exactly. my year group have been messed around so much since we started and have had so many choices cancelled without any new modules added, but seeing as we only do one module for the whole year it needs to be something i want to do cos i dont have anything else to pull the marks up if i do badly

i didnt wake up til 1pm today, i slept for about 12hrs! havent done much else, went food shopping which was a nightmare then actually done a lot of my work! :eek: my housemate was making loads of cakes and cookies so ive been eating those as well!
Mark couldn't make it today cause he got made to work so we're doing something tomorrow. But now i am scared stiff and i don't know why cause i do like him but i just am :( The nerves are unbelievable too!

Well today (yesterday) was ok, I got up at 11 which wasnt bad, at a good average of 12 hours sleep :p how I like it
I spent the day just watching shows on my laptop Ive become addicted, I started to do a bit of my english coursework but I could be bothered
Work was insane!!! every table had been booked, but it was surprisngly good night it was steady sort of I was just running round doing all sorts, one table left a £14 tip!!! that was dead good, so it was a good night to work :D
i watched the six nations in the pub yesterday, it was crazy interesting watching it from a neutral perspective, going to go again later to watch Ireland, i have my shirt washed and everything!!
My todo pile keeps growing as well whcih is rubbish
Had a great weekend. Got a lovely dress on eBay to go to a wedding in Mauritius in April which arrived on Friday and fits perfect, just needs shortening a bit, it is a long one and I am a little on the short side :lol:
Nice Valentine's Day, new hair do yesterday which OH approved of. Instead of bleached blonde I now had a Salt And Pepper look. Quiet day today, just finished making a steak and mushroom pie for our dinner later.

I've had work... again. Was meant to finsih at 8 but one of the girls fell in work a week ago or so but her leg was really hruting her tonight to the point where she was in tears so she went home early and I stayed until close, no lie in either.. as I'm off to town with my friend, though I don't really mind, will be nice to actually see someone and have a ctach up and actually buy something I want with my wages rather than school stuff I need.

It's a really nice day outside. Shame I'm having a bad day :( I'm fed up of the student lifestyle, never having money and having way too much time on my hands. I've spent pretty much the whole of last week with family in a proper house with people I like. Coming back here to my poky room and a flat full of people I don't particularly like isn't much fun.
Today I feel like quitting and getting a proper job. Had a two hour lecture on photography which sent me to sleep. I'm going to tidy my box and do some work to take my mind off things.

yesterday we had to go to essex cos the american footballers had a game. the coach broke down halfway though so we were standing outside for ages waiting for another one! it worked out ok in the end though cos they didnt have another big coach so they sent 2 smaller ones and all the guys had to squash in one of them and we had so much space in the other! apart from when a joke we played on one of our friends went wrong and it made her cry lol! the game was alright although it started raining as soon as we got out there! :(
today i had to meet up with my presentation group and not done much else. netball has been cancelled and im trying to decide whether to go out tonight or not

ive decided i cant be bothered to go out now, i dunno whats wrong with me recently i hardly ever go out anymore! i need to wash my hair anyway thats my excuse! im gonna try and make carbonara using quorn, my housemate always makes it but ive never tried so i hope it goes ok!
I've been out since 3.30pm so I'm knackered now. Had a bad day so Sam decided to be impulsive. We got on a bus, went to Primark (was closed) then to the pub.
Supposed to be going out tonight but I really don't have the energy. Can't even move from the chair I'm sat on to the nice comfy bed :(

Everyone seems to be havign bad days today, me too.
I went to town which was alright, my Mum and Cousin actually noticed that I'd lost some weight which made me feel good :)

Just had an email to say I failed one of my modules and have to resubmit in August. Was expected really.
Today I'm going to sort out my new accommodation, tidy my room, read the lecture notes for tomorrow and start a bit of revision. Fun day ahead.
But is Wednesday not one of your going-out nights? That should be something you can look forward to while you do the boring stuff :)
It's Carnage Pat II tomorrow night so I'm staying in tonight. I begrudge going to Sainsbury's to have two passport photos done for my accommodation application. I also have to go to the post office and library on the other side of campus.
I remember you felt quite ill after Carnage I and you had lost your ID. Remember to keep it safe this time :D

I did go out randomly with a few friends and we ended up at this little pub in the lanes playing pool haha.. I'm quite shocking!
Then we ended up in Asda buying sweeties and they're selling Impulse for £1 so I grabbed 2 :D
Then we were sat in the car for like half an hour jsut talking and playing the "would you?" game. Was fun :)

I had two teeth out a couple of years ago for the orthodontist. Injections aren't too bad. Buy some icecream for afterwards. :lol:
Went out to see Slumdog millionaire then clubbing at Oceana. Both were good but overrated. I could go clubbing again, think I prefer just hanging out with friends though. :p

Aww, Kirsty, I am sure you will feel better soon. Everybody reacts different to medication but you should feel the numbness wear off after about 3 hours or so.
I usually find a nap after any form of anaesthetic does the trick. But then again, I spend most of my life asleep so any excuse for sleeping is a good one :p
I seriously don't know why I'm paying £3k+ in tuition fees. A two hour lecture this morning didn't even last an hour. He went through everything so quickly then said "print the lecture notes out and read through them yourselves." There was 135 slides and it cost me a quid to print it off. I'm basically paying for seven months' worth of power point slides that only cover half the stuff we need to know *shakes head*
Another two hour lecture at 1pm on expert witnesses. I've looked over the notes and there's some things about miscarriages of justice in supposed cot death cases. Wonder how long this lecture will last.
Then tonight it's Carnage Part II. Not really in the mood, didn't sleep well last night.
You might not be in the mood for Carnage Part II at the moment but have a couple of drinks later on and I am sure you will enjoy yourself. :)

I've just woken back up, and the bleeding still hasn't stopped.
The anaesthetic is starting to wear off now and my mouth is really aching around where my two teeth were :(
Has the dentist told you anything about what to do if the bleeding does not want to stop? I know you should not smoke, if you are a smoker. If you are worried, give the dentist a call and ask what you could do.

I don't smoke, so that's ok. He didn't really say aboutthe bleeding, he said it would stop, but to not go dancing because if it was energetic it would start the bleeding again. He gave me a sheet of papaer with a list of information on and there's a paragraph on what to do if it's still bleeding, which is to put a handkerchief into salt water and then bite on it.. but I did that and it hasn't helped. I can't phone up because I can't talk, my speech is terrible lol.
Aww, perhaps somebody in your family can ring him when they are able to. Until then, keep using the hankie, it might take a while for it to take effect.

Have you had any painkillers? Two paracetamol and and ibuprofen may help with the pain.

yesterday was ok. my seminar finished early so that was good, had to do a presentation in it though but i think it went ok. then i went out last night which was good cos i havent been out properly in ages! though the fire alarm went off so we had to leave early! :( and cos it was neon night yesterday i bought an orange tutu for £6 to wear there, i thought it was pretty good seeing as my housemates paid £20ish for theirs
today i havent really done anything though i need to pack soon cos im going home for the weekend as its my dads bday

wednesday went to see my sister and neice stayed with them till 5.45 came home just got in the door when she texted me to say her waters had just broke ( she was 2 weeks over due) she had to get her partner to come home quick.. she went to hospital at half 8 and baby boy was born at 11;30. no name yet she carnt make up her mind lol...

Yeah Abbie I had to have 1 on each gum to numb my teeth, one in the roof and one in the bottom to numb my lip, trying to talk to my Dad on the phone was a right mess, I told him Mum was having her fillings and he somehow translated it that she was on the loo... everyone in the surgery was just staring at me lol, I had to hang up and text him in the end.
Feeling a bit better now, the bleedings stopped and it's clotted so I need to swill my mouth with salt water, yuck. I'm on a soft food only diet now though, I tried having some bread with my leek and potato soup but I just couldn't eat the bread :(.... all I want is a big bar of chocolate and a big fat dominos :(
Just been to dancing tonight, even though I only watched.. most boring 3 hours of my life :(

I had to have two teeth out and two fillings under general anaesthetic about 2 and a half years ago, because I'm petrified of needles and especially refuse to have them anywhere near my mouth. It was horrible not being able to eat afterwards, there's probably some old posts of mine somewhere on here moaning about it. I'd had enough of no food in the end and my mum ended up having to put soup through a sieve before I could eat it haha!
Just doing some Business work now. I can't find the figures I need anywhere so I'm taking a guess at some of them lol.

Carnage was the most pointless four hours of my night :tumbsdow I've come back early because I was so bored. This may sound selfish but if someone wants to get totally paralytic before they go out, I don't see why I should have to go looking for them when they decide to walk off in a busy club or pick them up off the floor. There are ways to have a good night without getting totally out of it.
So now I'm sat here, near enough sober, with a meatball wrap mit kase from Subway :D
I made a victoria sponge with my grandma today.. well, yesterday. I was playing with my cousin, who's just turned 4, and then he was mucking about, wrestling with me and hitting me with a pillow. I pretended to cry and then - for some reason, maybe he was tired - he got really upset and burst into tears. I still feel awful :(
Now I'm watching Queer As Folk and I can't stop thinking about how lonely I am at the moment. I hate feeling so bloody sorry for myself - it's frustrating :(
My sister is having her dog put down today. He head butted my cousin then tried to bit him on the face yesterday. He's never been vicious before. My mum rang the vet and she said it could be a chemical imbalance. They tried to rehome him with a family without young children last night but the Dog's Trust said he would always have to be muzzled and on a lead. Bruno is not the type of dog that you could keep muzzled, he's always playfighting with the other dog and cries when he doesn't get attention.
I love Bruno and don't want him to die, but you can't take the risk with a young child in the house and others that frequently visit. They got him from a dog shelter when he was 9 months old. He was difficult to control then, always running off, barking at men, running round the house and garden at top speed. The shelter couldn't tell them anything about his history, why he'd been abandoned or anything to help them with his behaviour. They've had him three years and you still can't stand on the doorstep and talk to a man because Bruno will be barking and jumping up or running off.
The other dog, Charlie, is already depressed. She can sense when something's not right. Not sure how Maisie is going to react when she goes back on Sunday to find Bruno isn't there. I don't even know if she will understand what death means. They're as thick as thieves.
Sorry for the ramble, just had to get that off my chest.
I am so sorry, it is always very sad and upsetting when a beloved pet has to be put to sleep, but the safety of the child has to come first of course. Is Bruno the boxer dog you told me about before?
Yeah, he's the boxer cross with something else.
I know it's the best thing to do. He's not even four yet so who knows what he could do when he gets older.
I'll miss the way he stands at the side of the bed with his puppy dog eyes, drooling, wagging his tail and unable to stand still because he wants a cuddle. He has a droopy eye so he looks even cuter. And his multicolour paw pads and nails. They're white, pink, black or a mixture.
They are nice memories, I am sure you have got loads of photos and you and your sister's family will never forget him. At least he had a good and loving home for over 3 years.

Abigail I am sorry to here about Bruno having to be put down but your right you can't have the risk that he won't try and bite again. I surprised though that the re-homing centre gave your sister a dog that they knew nothing about it's history to a family with children. I know when my sister and I went to the dog and cat home years ago when I bought Yogi. My sister liked Yogi to begin with but because he had been abandoned they would not allow her to take him as she had young children. I took Yogi and he turned out to be a fantastic dog all the kids loved him.
It turns out that the rehoming centre knew the dog had problems before they homed him. He was given new owners three times while he was in there before my sister took him. They even gave him to an old lady who thought he would walk himself :confused: He's hyperactive, walking around a house isn't going to do much for him.
They have the facilities to retrain problem dogs but it was never mentioned and never offered. It's free to them because they are a charity. They don't care about dogs there, they have never done a home visit or inspection, or rang to see how he is getting on. Apparently there was warning signs that he was a "dangerous" dog long before this happened. They are blaming my sister for not noticing that she "was becoming a member of his pack and he was becoming aggressive." WTF, if they had done a home visit then maybe they would have picked up on it. Unless you're trained in that area, I don't see how you would recognise little insignificant things.
So in short, the rehoming centre could have done something to prevent this :mad:

I have got soo much work to do, its all piling up again, as soon as i get up to date i get a load more, so im thinking a work and telly weekend.
I have so much work to do too. I'm heading to the library later to do my PDP assignment that's due in on Tuesday. Only 500 words so not too bad. I really should make a start on my other assignment too. No rush though, library has gone 24hours so I'll go later on.
I have the cold :( . Feel absolute crap and would love to lie in bed and sleep tomorrow but i can't i have to finish a essay, do the introduction and first paragraph of my Extended Essay Draft, and english questions. Luckily i read up to page 51 of the book we were meant to read for monday last night. But yeah it sucks!
Watched Mamma Mia last night, and got to see my Uncle, Aunt and Cousin whom i haven't seen in like a year and a half! cause they live over in Arran and it's not very often they come over. Was great seeing them again!
Today i went over to edinburgh with my grandma, even with this cold. It was fun, Princes Street looked weird with no traffic on it. Didn't do much through then came home and i curled up on the sofa with a packed of crisps, a bounty and a cup of tea and watched Mamma mia again to cheer me up then came on and just on the net, listening to music and on msn really.

Been in work since half 10 this morning, but had a good day... works been good. Apart from we had to close early because there was a gas leak so we had to turn the gas off which meant we couldn't cook more food... oh well, I'd rather not feed people and allow them to find somewhere else to eat than risk everyones lives in all honesty! So yeah we got out at 9 :)
My mouth is still really hurting :(... I can barely open my mouth which results in barely being able to eat :( I can't even eat my cous cous :(

That's bad. Write a letter or ring whoever regulates homing centres. Or lodge an official complaint against them or something like that. When we got Basil from the rescue center (Battersea) the only reason they didn't give us a home visit was because we had a cat already.
I've applied for a volunteer position driving old people to medical appointments/odd jobbing around the house/getting their shopping. Don't want a proper job yet, this will look good on my CV and be something nice to do.
And getting a new phone. :D £40 off because its an upgrade as I was on a contract for ages. :D

And like when we first kissed all I could hear was this 'whooooo' from everyone, it was so embarassing!!!

I haven't posted in here for ages. I went out on Thursday night for my friend's 18th. Went for a meal, then down to the pub after where I caught up with a girl who I "went out" with in primary school haha.. we caught up on some memories which was nice.
I am 18 in 12 days, so I've been planning my party today and printing out invites. My friend's band are playing :thumbsup:

It's my sister's birthday at the weekend, she's having a party so I'll see lots of family. Might cheer me up. It's also my dad's birthday on Tuesday so I'll miss that.
I'll stop waffling now, writing it all down is just making me feel worse. If I left uni tomorrow I wouldn't be bothered. I look around me and see everybody enjoying themselves and having fun... and I'm not. :(

I dont know I think at the moment im sooo confused and it all feels a bit surreal lol, its odd.I keep thinking about it though, its so odd lol. I was annoyed at one point cos I gave him money to get me drink and I went to get some food and anyway he back and I was at the buffet tabel and then all of a sudden we were kissing again and I was backed into the table and my drink split.....well I did get over but still
ahhhhhh I dont know what to think, its really werid, cos Ive known him for a while and ahhhhh, tomorrow is gonna be werid

Omg what a day :( I felt really ill last ngiht so I went to bed but I just cried lol so my Nan sat with me for ageeees so I didn't get to sleep until realllly late and I woke up at liek 2 today!
But I saw my aunty uncle and baby cousin and my sister so that was nice :)
Then... I get called into work!! So mcuh for a day off!! :angry: I was only there for 2 1/2 hours! And thenm I was allowed to go home. Grr.
Anyways I'm having a bath and then bed, I need to be up super early tomorrow :(
I've decided i'm sleeping in tomorrow but only cause i don't want to go to english cause i haven't done my questions for it, but the questions are pretty hard but she'd kill me cause i haven't been handing in homework this term. But today i feel pretty bad, cause of this cold one min i'm boiling so i open my window next i'm freezing urgh make up you're mind yeah!
and i think i broke this boy's heart (not intentionally!) but he texted me asking if i had decided what was happening between us cause i wasn't so sure, so i told him that i thought it would be better if we were just friends. (mainly cause i still like my ex) didn't tell him that part through, and he turned around and said thanks for lying. Cause when we went out last sunday at the end of the evening i said i loved him (i thought i did, stupid i know but i wasn't leading him on i would never do that to a boy!) and he made me feel like crap :crying: . I can't help it if my feeling's change!

friday i had to go to margate to look round some theatres for my course. it was alright but a waste of time cos we arent allowed to use those ones for our portfolio. then had cheerleading where we learnt more of the competition routine, and the coach i dont like was really nice to me and shes never nice to anyone! then we had the agm and voting for next years committee which went on for ages and turned into an argument!
yesterday was my dads bday so ive been home for the weekend and we went out for a meal last night which was good
today not done much, just caught up on tv and played on the wii for a bit. tomorrow im going back to uni

I passed my driving test :D:D Yay!
