Got woken up from my snooze by the guy downstairs ringing to see if I wanted to go to Sainsbury's then have tea at his. He really does pick his times to ring. So we went to Sainsbury's and he bought a chicken that takes 2 hours to cook (this was at 6pm). I've been to the library and he went to a social, the chicken should be cooked by now. Won't be getting tea for another hour I think :( I just want to go to bed, my throat and head are killing and I ache all over. I'm not even hungry but I can't not go.

I think my body is close to packing up. I need to learn to say no to some people and just rest.

Last night was awful, I thought I was going to die. I was burning up and shivering at the same time, I couldn't wrap up because my arms are so sensitive at the moment, sore throat, swollen glands, kidneys, back and hips hurting. I've got an appointment with the doctor this afternoon. My ears are hurting now and I can't swallow :(

I ended up sleeping downstairs in my friend's bed because I was scared I would die during the night. Worst night's sleep in ages :thumbsdow

Another day off school - have been off all week now because of snow :D
Going to my best friend's house tonight down in Runcorn and staying for the weekend as it's her 16th on Sunday and she's having a party tomorrow night :D Going shopping with her to Liverpool & Warrington tomorrow during the day so hopefully will be a really good weekend.
And also a chance for me to wean myself off Mamma Mia :lol: i've watched it 26 times sinces Saturday afternoon! I've uploaded all the music videos to youtube, my phone & iPod, got the songs on my phone, iPod & on a CD in the car! :lol: :lol:
It's with being stuck in all week. Well that's my excuse anyway lmao

I'm learning all about witnesses having the right to be cross examinined in court.

Been to town to buy some new shoes and a belt to go with my new dress for 2 of my friends joint 18th tonight :)
I'm not really in a party mood.. as in get drunk mood. But I'm looking forward to putting on my new outfit lol

I've had a busy couple of days...yesterday had a music concert (he kept flippin not giving me my cues! :rolleyes: It was not good...) and then went straight to a friends to sleep over with some others. Today I went with my best friend shopping to find a dress for her for some posh party. It took a while but we managed to find one. :D Then we came back and watched House. Then we went to the Kew Sparkle evening. :D Got some great fudge and its so christmassy and it gets better every year. (Its only been going 3 years). And then I went to the pub with my family for the Kew guild for supper.

My friend and I am going back to shop tomorrow because we didn't finish what we planned. :lol: I get way too distracted in HMV. I did get a set of Billy Connelly dvds, series 4 blackadder for my dad and a Katie Melua collections cd for my mum so I've at least started the christmas shop. :p I also got Mock the Week too hot for dvd because I couldn't resist. :lol:

Been to a school frined 18th tonight... it was good, until jsut afterfood when drama kicked off! :( It really wasn't good.
I also had a bit of a tiff with my best friend.. we never have like "arguments" it was hardly an argument but I got mad over something really really stupid!
We all also found out another friend had been lying to us all night!
Other than that was a good night :)

Im doing that most f the day and then i am going into town to drop some deposits off for my friends christmas dinner and then i am going to get some dvds from HMV and then a bit of crimbo shopping. Then back to my essay! i highly doubt my day will be as planned though!

I'm so confused yet happy and worried at the same time. I had such a good night last night with my friend, watching a DVD then going to bed together. I wanted to stay in bed with him all day but I have work to do :( I'm still trying to figure out what and how it happened.

Anyway, halfway through my first assignment. I don't have any more information to write, need another 460 words. Then I need to do 2000 on a subject I know nothing about :hmm: Night at the library tomorrow methinks.

Last night was rather eventful.
3 of my friends went out and I was online.. but didn't get an invite.
So I went over my aunties and kept my Nan complany whilst she babysat my cousin.. I did fall asleep though lol
Then when my Aunty and Uncle came in my Uncle said somethign about my Granch being delayed to pick us up because of a young girl with a dog at our door with a bit of a dilemma. It was weird.
She was ill though, like borederline schizophrenic and she self harmed, but my Nan and Granch took her back to her flat and made sure everything was locked up for her so she was safe in the night.. what she'd told my Nan was quite sad :(.. I'm sooo soo lucky compared to some people, she sounded liek she had a really rough time of it as a kid.

Today I am sooo annoyed!
The same 3 friends who went out last night ahve gone out again today, and not invited anyone. It was a "last minute" thing apparently.. but my friend said she wouldn't go into work today because she wanted to go shopping.. whcih isn't like her at all, so it must have been planned for her to not go iinto work. It's really wound me up! The 2 boys change their minds on the company they like and then the girl (who is supposed to be my best friend, but we've grown apart alot recently) never ever comes out wiht us if her boyfriend is around but if he;s not about she says jump and everyone says how high? It makes me madd! :(

Sorry for the rant.

I had my first shift at Homebase yesterday, it was ok :) Spoke to a few people so hopefully will make some new friends down there, as well as do work obviously :p .. today I stayed in bed til midday, watching a DVD and doing some of my Media coursework..

and I plan on relaxing for the rest of the day. Going to watch Home Alone later on Five :D

Not quite sure if me and my friend are talking, don't really even know why.

Got home and I am soo tired, but I cooked tea for me and my Nan and I missed another phonecall on the house phone!! :(

But while I was cooking I had a phonecall off the lady who interviewed me and she said the opening is delayed for about 10 days but they are interested and will give me a trial :D:D:D:D
Sooo I'm happy now :D

I'm sooo tired! got back from Runcorn yesterday evening - had one of the best weekends ever! Saturday we went into Liverpool to do some shopping and it's amazing, a lot lot lot bigger than I expected, will defo be going there instead of Manchester next time, lots more brand name shops too, i'm not one for lots of brand names but was very impressed!

Got back to sara's in the afternoon and got ready for her party - she'd bought a drink fountain and we made 'the ******* mix' to go in it.
Cherry lambrini, normal lambrini, red chinzano, peach schnapps, cherry WKD, limeade & vodka. And me and sara were drinking this tropical fruit twist thing that was bright green and was like bacardi breezer stuff, and also peach schnapps & lemonade. God knows how i didn't have even the slightest symptoms of a hangover the next morning, we even got up at 7! But i must say i have felt the effects today! been so tired, a banging headache and really dehydrated so me thinks it was a bit of a delayed hangover. :lol: :lol:

Was a really good night, i'd never met any of her friends before and they were all dead nice to me which was really sweet.

9 days left at school! Can't wait to finish!

Went out last night and drank way too much. I couldn't even walk at 7.30am this morning. Was a really good night, ended up sleeping with my friend again. Three times in the past week :ninja: We had room inspections this morning and I was still in his bed when she came round, she give me a proper dirty look.

I got off with some random guy, can't remember what he looked like. Apparantly he wasn't that good looking. He got pretty heavy and told me he was taking me back to his :hmm: So I went to the toilet and text Jamie to tell him not to go without me. This guy was really going for it, Jamie walked up and nearly lamped him one.

I think one of my flatmates kissed a girl from another flat when we got back. I didn't see exactly what happened but he came to my room later (walked in on me naked :eek:) and swore blind for about two minutes that nothing happened :hmm: He gave me strict instructions when we went out that I was not to let him kiss any girl or go home with any girl except me because he's seeing someone.

So yeah, best night out I've had in a long while :D

Congrats on getting the trial Kirsty. Hope it goes well for you. My new computer arrived today :D I just got a new base unit thing instead of having the other one repaired because it's quite old and wasn't that expensive anyway. We had a bit of a problem connecting the monitor so I didn't think I would be able to use it today.

Yesterday and today I've had an extra free because my Psychology teacher hasn't been in. If he's back tomorrow I'll end up having two tests on the same day :( Test on Friday too and we were meant to have one on Thursday but we won't be having it because the teacher has to take the Young Enterprise people (including me) because the other Business teacher doesn't have a licence to drive the minibus. Nice way to get out of way too many tests this week anyway.

Year 11 at my school finish tomorrow for Study Leave. I kind of want to finish because I'll have more time to revise but kind of don't because I won't have many more lessons before the exams.

Anyway got Business coursework to do now and some revision later so I'll stop writing an essay now lol. I can't type on this new keyboard, its taken me way too long to type this.

My 2000 essay is complete. Could have done a lot better on it though. I was in the library until 2.30am trying to do it. I gave up in the end and my friend brought me food so we sat and talked for an hour. Going to hand it in soon.

I really could scream and it seem's like a total petty problem now :crying: .

My best friend and her boyfriend have been dating for at least 9 months now (which i'm fine with) but now i never get to see her at school, i use to see her nearly all the time before she started dating him and now i hardley do. & when i do it's with him and i feel so down. They don't seem to understand that i don't mind them doing stuff but it get's a bit annoying if it's constantly (that might sound mean but i don't know how to explain it) and then for this christmas party we were going to go together and have a laugh (and i didn't think he was coming) but now he is and i'm dreading it cause he'll be stuck to her like ####### glue all night:angry: . He doesn't get any of the jokes we say and can't take a laugh. I was explaning something to her today and he went "so" and i just turned around and snapped at him. It's soo annoying and i feel like i'm losing my best friend :crying:.

i need help cause i know i need to talk to her but i don't know how or when cause they're always together but i don't want to lose her at all. :crying:

Aww, Tannie, this is a common occurence with friends, when one of them gets romantically involved, then the other friends feels left out because they don't spend so much time together anymore. Perhaps you could write her a letter, to tell her that you are worried about losing her friendship but that you are happy for her to have her boyfriend and whether it is possible for just the two of you to spend a little time together again. Your friend probably feels torn between spending time with her bf and you as well. :)

Tannie, I've been in your situation and it's really not nice I know, but there's not alot you really can do. Me and my friend used to argue and argue about it, and it would get us somewhere for a few days/weeks and then it would go back to the normal, it was the same cycle over and over again.. and that put more strain on our friendship than us not spending much time together on the first place. Then, I made friends with her boyfriend, I really didn't think much of him at first but then got to know him and he's a really ncie guy and he's one of my good friends now :) You jsut get used to not seeing them much.. I still see her, not as frequent, but when I do it's really ncie because it's somethign different :)...just try not to let an argument erupt and maybe the party will be good for the 3 of you, maybe you and your friends boyfriend can get to know each other :)...Sorry for the essay.

And Lea, neither of your options is tacky, and if someone hand made me something I'd be sooo over the moon that they took time and effort to make something for me that I could keep nice :) and I've made cakes for my friends before for brithdays and that and they've gone down really well :)

Alright day, I was supposed to go to rehearsals for our "nativity play" (I say nativity, but Sixth Forms version.. slightly comediatised haha, I'm the star) but I oculdn't go because I had to babysit my sister so that my Mum could go to the emergency dentist as her tooth is really playing her up.
Not done alot other than that. Me and my Nan had an Indian :) and my aunty and cousin came over too.

Now I'm just going to have a bath, make some lit notes and go to bed.. then partayyyy tomorrow night which I'm well excited for :D:D

I have to dress up for the thing I'm going to tomorrow; my mum's put all my Busines type clothes in the wash... oops.

I asked my Mum to get proof of posting on my friend's birthday card as it had an iTunes voucher and £1 in it (she's 16 on Friday so I thought £1 per year would be good) and I don't see her much because she lives 6 miles away so it has to be posted. She only went and got recorded delivery on it instead and my friend's family are never there when the post arrives.

Economics test :eek: 24/25 and I only got the one wrong because I changed the answer to a wrong one at the last minute. Someone with much better GCSE's than mine got exactly the same so I was happy even though I could have had 25.

Had to take a DVD back to Blockbusters this evening. It was supposed to go back on Sunday :ninja: My friend told the woman that it didn't work (we hadn't had time to watch it) so she cancelled the late charge and gave us two nights for free :D

We decided to have something to eat so I made poached eggs on toast, except I haven't ever poached eggs :rotfl: It was fun, I put an egg in an the pan boiled over so there's egg stuck to his cooker and pan. There was more egg left on the pan, cooker and in the bin than on our plates :lol: Then we watched the DVD, I got scared, screamed a few times and kept jumping. We were watching Prince Caspian :ninja: It's a PG! Sam kept laughing at me then he said something really random.

I watched 300 last night with the lads in my house, it was weird! to say the least. Getting one of my assignments back today! i am soo scared its untrue. THen really need to make a start on the packing, where i am going to start i odn't know.

I am going out tonight which i am looking forward to, we are going to varsity for pound party and then back to a mates as an end of year gatherine as most of us are going home on the weekend for xmas.

Is it possible to combine the two? A voucher and a handmade christmas card or some homebaked biscuits/chocolates? Just an idea. :)

Handmade Christmas cards = sore subject. We were selling them at a trade fair for Young Enterprise today and we still have about 74 left! We want them all gone by Monday, tall order I think. We had the teacher take us to it in the minibus and we have £6 net profit. Baddddd. We thought we'd won today because they were describing a 'creative company' and the company that won looked like they'd just bought a load of christmas cards and sold them on! :banned: It was a laugh but that won't help us win the Area Finals! Some judge thinks we have a good chance but I don't see how after the winners they chose today.

Play.com has some great dvd's if your looking for that sort of thing. Loads for a fiver or less and free delivery. :D I'm getting creature comforts for my sister because she loves that sort of thing. :)

My sister and I need to go shopping for the parents though. :rolleyes: I've got my mum a Katie Melua collections cd and thats it. :p

I've had the cold since Monday, I only had it a couple of weeks ago and it's comeback again. I think I may have caught PB bird flu when she sneezed on shoutbox at the weekend.

Lea your mate will love her pressies as it's the thought that counts not the cost of the gift and you have put a lot of thought and effort into her presents. Chris don't go to too much expense on my Christmas present, I'm easily pleased just Kiefer gift wrapped and a box of fredo bars will do nicely. :lol:

I'm actually rather liking some of the gifts I made my mate. Not finished yet, but I'm getting rather into haha!!!!

So far I have made
- A photo merge of her and all of us, which I will print out when the printer decides to print and put glitter and all around it :D.
- A snake
- A book of her favourite things (pictures) << all glittery and stuff :D

I'm also going to make a santa finger puppet, a snow man finger puppet, write a short funny christmas story which includes all of us, tree bauble and a christmas flag lol... possibly more if I think of stuff haha.

That's SO much stuff! It will be obvious that so much time, effort and thought has gone into that that it couldn't possibly be considered tacky. I love those ideas :)

Finally home for the holidays. I got an email earlier saying we don't have to be back until the 12th Jan. I have an exam on the 5th so I either go on the Sunday and come back home on the Monday for the rest of the week or I stay there. Hmm, I don't know what to do yet. I think five weeks at home with my mum will lead to one of us killing each other.

Going to have a shower and an early night. I don't think there's been a night this week when I haven't been to sleep before 4am. Tomorrow I'm going to put the christmas tree up.

I had a good night in the end, it was a sort of mix of our friends... it was odd but really nice as it was different conversations :)
We went out to get food and then when we got back watched some of our friends show on her dvd and we all jsut talked loads about everything possible lol and then we watched Saw 4, yuck yuck yuck. The film is sick and scary.. but it scares me even more to think about the writers, and how they come up with gruesome things like that lol.
I'm going to do some more Christmas Shopping tomorrow, if I can get myself out of bed.. I'm having a much deserved lie in! Haha :D

Good idea on the lie in , we watched films last night, and had toast as we realised as well me and my mate were the only two in the house and the wind was scaring us too much to even go out bread was the only edible thing in the house! It was fun, We watched Love Actually and the Mischief Night, THe whole series 2 of the Office and an episode of Cracker. it was a nice night though. I don't think id have liked it if i were in the house on my own though, it makes weird noises when there are not six of us in it!

I should be in bed but my dad has already left manchester and my room looks like a bomb has dropped on it! ! ! so i have a bout an hour before he gets here to pick me up.

I don't like Saw its not horror its just gore there is no point to it, the first one was ok but i not seen any after 2, i dont like that sort of thing.

For some strange reason it feels like the hoildays already. Its been such a long weekend, I babysat on friday and then went xmas shopping yesterday and babysat again. The this morning woke up and gave my mum her birthday present then went back to bed
I still havent recovered from thursday night, (drama exam), we were gonna go shopping in manchester today but I was too tired and didnt really think I needed to go, so just my parents have gome. tbh ive bought everything I need to at the moment, other stuff I can get in town, I sorta wish I went now but then again im glad I havent cos I would have ended up spending money on myself, or getting bits of presents that I didnt need to get, im just gonna stick to what ive planned, cos at the end of the day im still trying to save money at the moment, and a few people owe me money so im a bit down at the moment

Yesterday helped out with this Rotary thing. It was freezing and rainy. My mum pointed out my lips had gone blue when I got in. :lol:

We spent over a year doing our biology A2 coursework Kasple. Started straight after AS exams and didn't hand it in until the deadline the following May. I didn't mind as we spent an hour of most lessons going over coursework, which was better than doing an extra hour of work. I hated that subject at A2.

Start your research now then you won't have a shedload of work to do when it comes to writing them up. I made the mistake of leaving my 2000 word assignment until the night before it was due in, I hadn't even looked through the reading list as to what I should be writing about. Big mistake and one stress I could have done without.

I think I'm going to tidy my room and put my clothes away after I've got dressed. Feeling in a productive mood today :D

Ughh this cold is bugging me.
Todays been alright.
Didn't do alot school wise, had to finish an essay in my first RE class, but in the second class last lesson our teacher brought in muffins and stuff and we had Christmas music and hot chocolate and sorted out the Christmas concert for Friday. It was fun :)

Me and a friend had a bit of a barmy. I'm trying desperately to sort out what me and my friends are doing for Christmas, in the end we were all up for Secret Santa, so we went in at dinner and told this girl it was her idea in the first place) then she started ranting on about having no money and all that. She has a job. I know she has her family and boyfriend to buy for, but so dot he rest of us.. well I don't have a boyfriend to buy for but my family is huge, I'm paying out for 9 people yet I'm still trying to make something nice work for our friends...and I don't even have a job! I'm fed up of trying to organise stuff and having it thrown back in my face. :(

Right well tbh im fair peed off at someone at school today. She goes oh i've got your present with me and she goes ive taken the tags of cos it had the price on it and then i opened it when i got home and its her jacket that she said is too big for her :S i just opened and was like? tbh i think its dead cheeky giving something second hand and claiming that youve actually bought it and the reason im annoyed is because she knows ive spent £17 on her present and fair enough its not about money but dyano what i mean? id rahter not get anything than have something that shes just wrapped up and not thought about.

And i know that it sounds really unappreciative (sp?) but I always try and put loads of thought into christmas presents 'cause I like to think other people do the same if you get me.

And now reading this back I feel like I sound really cheeky but she did it last year as well and gave me and my other friend a teddy that was from her bed and some half used perfume and its not like she skint or anything because she gets £100 a month for working as a waitress and if she was i'd tell her not to get me anything and save the money for family and stuff.

Anyways. Rant over. I sound ungrateful now so im going!! :lol:

I'm so fed up at the moment.

Feel like my family's just going to burst, and in a way i'm toeing the line with my dad which i wouldn't normally do cause he can be scary!
My mum feel's like she's smothering me and i know it's cause she loves and care's for me but i've had it ever since i got burnt when i was 9 and a half months old an i've just spoken to her about it and as perusual she got her own way.

Basically i was ment to be helping out at the chirstmas concert tomorrow evening at school. Start's about 7 and i don't know what time, but now i can't go cause my mum's on day shift and she has to know i'm home before she can go to sleep.

Plus i have a cold and feel so choaked up it's unbelivable. Just want to go to bed and curl up and sleep forever

I got a B in Economics!! For completely messing up Section B which is worth the most marks, I am SO happy! 12/12 on one of the questions, I can't believe it. I spent nowhere near enough time on that one. Ran out of time on the last question.. it showed lol 11/25. I have an evaluation to get started on now; spent too long laughing in Business.

Second hand Christmas presents; tell me about it. I think it was last year that I had a second hand bottle of body spray that wasn't even a brand name from one of my closest friends. Considering she's just got my friend a brand new Sarah Jessica Parker one for her birthday, it's now more ridiculous. The second hand one she gave me she even left the top off of; how much more obvious can you get?

Had to rebook my holiday flight because OH does not get back in time tomorrow, so we now have to get up at 2 am (some of you will still be chatting in the shoutbox :) ) on Thursday to go to the airport. Change of tickets cost me an extra £320 which OH' company is supposedly going to pay. I certainly hope so because this has now gone right up to my credit limit as I have already booked next summer's holiday flights because they get too expensive.
One day less holiday, but I shall survive. Just waiting for confirmation that the car hire is sorted as we are changing airports in Spain too. :)

Kim, second hand christmas presents are the worst.. my friend got me a book, haven't opened it yet but I know it is an autobiography of some famous person cause she asked me to read it after her.. Last year she gave me a diary and pen set but you could clearly see it was second hand as it was all grubby like it was opened, and then put back in the box

Another Economics test today... questions were so random.

Christmas presents :( I gave my friend a £16 thing from the body shop and a pack of chocolate coins. She gave me one of those £1 tiny boxes of Celebrations and a tiny bag of non-brand name body stuff. If it was much smaller I would need a magnifying glass! She can't have spent more than about £3 on me! It wasn't even wrapped! :angry: Wish I'd taken hers in tomorrow now, then I would've at least kept the chocolate coins.

Present from another friend is tiny. I didn't get her as much as I've only known her since I started 6th form but I bet I've still spent about 3 times as much on her as she has on me.

Dog has to go to the vet at 6 :(

It wouldn't annoy me so much if I knew that my friend didn't have a lot of money, but I know she has loads. I'd have much preferred a framed collage like one of my friends got from her friend who left the school; it seemed like a lot of time, effort and thought had gone into that, and only the frame would have actually cost money.

We don't agree budgets, but this is the first time that the money spent has not been about the same in terms of what we've given out and what we've got from that person.

We do a secret santa at work. Pull a name out of the hat and get a present for that one person - everyone gets one present and there is a budget of £5.

I do this with a group of friends from school too - we all have families and it can get too expensive to buy presents for everyone. this way it is a group thing and not too expensive either.

Had a really good night out catching up with friends last night. Met a guy called Lee who lives in the next town to me. We got on really well, he was sober and I was slightly tipsy. I almost got his number but things kicked off between my friend and her dad and I was left to sort it :rolleyes: The night ended kinda badly, with me having to do some first aid on my friend and getting blood on my jeans. Some guy sat with me when I was doing it and gave me tinsel and baubles from the beams in the pub. Had to sneak out the back to make sure I wasn't caught :p

I wish that just for once, somebody else would take responsibility when we're out if things go wrong. They could see that I was talking to this guy outside the pub but they still insisted on shouting to me that they were going to the pub a few doors down, ruining the moment.

On the downside, he did look like my old english teacher, who I hated.

I really hope I see Lee again :( Even if he has got a girlfriend. He wouldn't have spent all that time talking to a drunk lass if he wasn't interested. He tried to teach me to play pool but I just embarressed myself.

I'm ahving a pretty good day :).. apart from a headache lol

We did our Sixth Form Christmas concert today and squirty creamed 2 of the teachers :D Haha! We did our own version of the nativity aswell and I was the North Star lol and then we did the dance to Jump on it which was really really fun :D

Then I came home and had a driving lesson, my instructor misbooked me so I onyl had an hour rather than 2, but was told that on my next lesson we will decide a dtae for my driving test! Scary stuff! Haha

I have to go to town now and buy my Dad a birthday present as it's his birthday and then I plan on spending the evening over my Mums :)

This weekend i haven't really done anything. Althrough i'm quite chuffed cause i'm dating someone again whom i've already dated (but i do really like him always have done actually =$ ) but keeping it on the low cause my relationships haven't been the greatest.

Helped my grandma out but then she got all moany when i couldn't pause the thing i was doing on her DS and then said i was arguing when i wasn't i was stating a fact. She's starting to irritate me now.

My dad's due home tomorrow till the new year so all chuffed about that:Dx and then my gran's coming down on xmas eve cause it's a tradition that she stay's plus I'm going to the German Market in Edinburgh on xmas eve, actually had to stop myself from going over yesterday cause it'll be much better on xmas eve.

Got all my christmas pressies bought minus my brother's but i think my mum's got that not to sure through i'll have to ask her about it tomorrow.

My english teacher wanted an essay handed in on thursday (second last day of term) and she said if we didn't complete it then she want's two essays on the first day back but i just can't be bothered doing it:angry: Although Educating Rita isn't as hard as i had expected!:Dx

I just got a call from one of the parents of the younger ones at dancing, but shes more like a friend to us older ones and she is the woman who got me in touch with all these people who I babysit :p anyway she works at next and shes asked me to work there at Next on the 27th 3-9! :p Im sooo lucky another job :D well this one is just the once, but maybe they might keep me on, I know they take on a lot of xmas staff but you never know, and if they dont keep me never mind at least I'll get some money for 6 hours work :D

Been at my sister's since Saturday, got back about half an hour ago. Going to have a snooze, unpack my bag and watch some tv.

My friend who I bought the present for (the one I was talking about on shoutbox on Friday night) text me on Saturday to tell me not to bother buying her anything as "we're students now and it's one less thing to think about." I hade left her a message on facebook asking what time would be best to take her card and present round (when I had got round to buying it).

Thinking about it, we've hardly spoken since August and we haven't seen each other for months. I'm back in touch with some old friends now, which I'm happy about. Don't get me wrong, I really like Rachel and she's a good friend but I feel more comfortable with my old friends, the people who I've grown up with and known for years. Even if they do ruin my chances with a great guy :p

They bug me sooo much, on the note that they sat online talking about it to each other and complaining when they could've got off their bums and into town to sort it out, but they've made everythign complicated again... as usual. I'm really annoyed and I really don't want Christmas to come.. I wish it would just go away. :(

We're having turkey tomorrow. Really pleased because duck gets boring after a while and I've never had pheasent or goose. Four birds for five people, looks like we're going to be having cold meat sandwiches and salads for the next few weeks.

then came home and had a clean up, got to be clean for santa!! lunchtime we nipped to my sister to open pressies with them and then i had to nip to shops for some last minute bits. cleaned up some more, rested a bit while watching polar express and then mum and dad came round to us for a chinese!!

Today ahs been pretty hectic, Christmas shopping and watching my sister... therefore not getting much done lol.

Haven't long got back from my friends house. It was her 18th 2 days ago but she wa son holiday so we went up there tongiht for some drinks :).. I had 1 too many, as did everyone else lol. Now I really need to wrap presents. Father Christmas is slacking this year lol.

Was it good? I was forever put off by going to midnight mass at a Catholic church. I thought it was going to be short no....hour and a half. :lol:

It was pretty good. Some old chap fell asleep at the back of the church and started snoring loudly. I couldn't stop laughing during prayer, it was hilarious. It seemed to get louder whenever the vicar paused.

I went to the local parish C of E church, where I was a member many moons ago. The last time I went to church and Sunday school was about twelve years ago. It's nowhere near as cold as I remember it to be back in to '90s.

Tired now after half an hour singing carols and just over an hour figuring out what I should be doing (praying, standing, sitting, singing, I kept looking around to see what everyone else was doing) and trying not to laugh.

Had a really good day! Woke up and opened my presents around half 8.. My bro&sis got there to early and opened it at 8am! Just missed it but yeah..

Got ready and went to my cousin's house around half 11 and stayed there till 9ish! - Had a really good time, me and my older cousin were making cocktails, mainly alcoholic ones, and they were nice as they weren't overpowering with alcohol so I am perfectly fine.. and I had quite a few :)

Played some games, watched first part of EE.. & Of course had a Christmas dinner and gave out presents etc...
Good times! :)

I didn't get up until 11am. There was nothing to get up for, we were opening presents at my sister's before dinner, which was at 2pm.

Pretty good day. Took my sister's dogs for a walk after dinner and got them in the mood for the boxing day shoot today. Saw my two cousins on my dad's side. I've seen the five year old about six times and the two year old twice since they were born. No wonder they have no idea who I am.

Today I'm going to get dressed (got up an hour ago) and do some revision. I'm feeling really guilty that I've only got through three lectures worth of information and my exam is in nine days. Going back to uni on Thursday so I'll get a few days of complete peace and quiet before people come back on Sunday for exam week. I really want to go back earlier but I don't get back from my sister's until Tuesday and I'm not missing NYE with my friends at home.

Went into Edinburgh for the sales as it's so much better then Dunfermline by miles! and only got 3 cds (but i didn't get much money this year) Got Britney spears - Blackout and Circus (Circus was only £9.99 so just had to get it!) Also got Chris Brown - Exclusive The Forever Edition. And their all going on my ipod :lol: I'm rather obsessed with it. Got some sweets from Thorntons to cause they were having a sale:p . Went on the big wheel to and the boy kept on spinning it which cause a lot of screaming and cursing from me then laughter from me and lucy was hilarious when he done it the second time then he done it another time then he never done it the third time so we burst into laughter and i yelled thank you:lol:. Were going to go ice - skating but it cost to much so we never but i really wanted to go but i needed the money iswell for the CDS.

The buses were getting a bit irritating so my dad came to pick us up, i asked him if he would pay for a taxi and he said no :(:lol:. In a way i was being seroius but i was also joking lol.

So all in all had a good day. Going to read Twilight and watch Mamma Mia again (i'm rather obsessed with that dvd like!:p)

My friend didn't cancel her party because she was ill, she was fine.. but her boyfriend wanted to split up or something (it's long distance and so I think he found it difficult) anyways she didn't feel like it but her Mum has said we can have a party after January exams :D:D

So it ended up me and a few friends going bowling and then to see Yes Man... go and see it, sooo worth watching! I really didn't want to see it, but I'm glad I did now! :D

Well I nearly got arrested for Granny bashing in tesco's today: Here's the story:

I bought Marley a wide-screen LCD TV/DVD with freeview included TV for Christmas, well today the bugger packed up on us we were just getting the red standby button and nothing else. I spent 20 minutes on the phone to the engineer were we tried different things to get it going but even he had to admit defeat. He gave me a reference number to take down to tesco's this would be comfirmation that I had called the helpline. So we went down to change the tv. There were two other customers before me and when it was my turn I had to go round to the other side of the desk I explained to the guy what had happened. No problem he said I will change it for you, great off he went to get me a new tv, he came back and I had to film out some forms, while I was putting the tv back into the trolly this battleaxe shoved me out the road waving a pair of shoes in her hand grumbling that the shoes were £6 in the shop but £5 in another tesco. Well I just gave her what for I said excuse me but I am still being served and there a queue.

I have been beating my dad at Ten Pin Bowling on the Wii.. I think he's had enough of that game now lol; my record's 217.

My mum had to take Now 71 back to Sainsbury's today as I opened it on Christmas Day to find that it didn't have the first disc in it :eek: My mum said she would pay for another one if necessary and I really thought she would have to but she didn't. I'm now obsessed with it :D

Done some revision but I don't seem to have got the motivation that I wanted for Christmas :lol:

Parents had a dinner party - 5 hours of pure boredom. Some people came with their two kids for half an hour. Kids are hard work and ever so slightly annoying. :p I think Penny the cat has only just recovered. :lol: Basil was fine though, surprisingly.

Had a lazy morning reading in bed till about 11 got up cleaned up went to the shop had snack for dinner then me and my daughter went to meet my sister her partner and 2 kids and step brother we all went on the lincoln ice rink its only here till the 4th of jan..

I feel ever so ill :( stupid cramps! Didn't get any sleep last night went to bed about 1.30 this morning after finishing Twilight, and kept on tossing and turning i was in agony! then went down to fill my hot water bottle it didn't help then i was sick three times with a lot of retching and now i feel all weak :( i just want to curl up and cry now:crying: I've never felt this bad on the time of the month ever!

phoned up Parcelforce to complain about my ASOS delivery being messed up, and they said it'll be on it's way tomorrow! Hopefully my All Saints jeans will come aswell, hope they come in a fancy box like the last pair :heart:

Also finished my 20 page docu-drama script. That was such a slog, but enjoyable at same time. Was doing it on the Birmingham Pub Bombings of the 1970s, so once the bombs went off in my script it was exciting to write! But glad it's out the way now!

No more work to be done now until I go back, so I can enjoy New Years. Seeing Yes Man on Wednesday with friends, then I'm spending New Years Eve at a friends house! First year i've actually done something for New Years, wont be too exciting, but it's better than staying at home! Then on New Year's day I think we're gonna go see the Spirit!

So yeah, not a bad week ahead! Then back to uni! Woooo! Can't wait! :D

I'm getting sick of revision now and I've still got about 3 weeks to go. I was hoping my new wii games would arrive today but they didn't. I did do some poem stuff for English today and I'm meant to be reading the second book I have for it but I can't find it... oops.

How do you actually play that game? lol. I just can't do it.. I go for a gentle swing and it doesn't do anything. Even my dad can't get less than a bogey.

I just look at the map on screen and use the up and down arrows to get the golf club that I think will be right for the hit, then I look at the wind and how that will effect my hit, and I just basically swing it as hard/gentle as possible making sure I press A... :)

Aww I'm having a really good day!!.. (lets not knock it now!)
I had my driving lesson and didn't drive very well tbh, but he's given me all details and stuff and told me to book my test :D

I also had a phonecall on my lesson but obviously couldn't answer it, luckily I had a voicemail. It was the lady from the restaurant I ahve a trial for and I had to ring her back.. thye open on Friday so I have a trial at 2:30 on friday for a few hours (I'm not getting paid but I get free food and a drink so I'm happy) lol

Going into town for a little lookie about and then taking my brother bowling as part of his Christmas present from me and then going to a friends house later tonight :) I'm sooo happy!
