Wow cheerleading looks so fun! I can't wait to join clubs when I go to uni. :D

I started 'working' nearly 5 hours ago. I've done one table. I've been watching this nature show on Australia thats been on since I sat down and switched on the tv. Much more interesting then science.

I've got the morning off on Monday though because first lessons cancelled so I will just go in earlyish and do it then.

I wanted to go to Camden today but I forgot to arrange a time to meet yesterday when I had a lesson with the people I was going to go with. It annoys me that I'm the one who always has to chase them though! They wanted to come too but if I don't ring them or email them we never end up going anywhere!

Was in town lookign for a costume for the Sixth Form halloween party, I'm going as a ladybird and my friend is going as a bumblebee ahah!
But then I had a text off my best friend saying her Nan had passed away earlier today. I'm gutted.
She always took us on day trips with her and bought me Christmas and Birthday presents and took us out for Christmas meals :(
I'm more gutted for my firend.. she was so close to her Nan, it's jsut such a shock.. she seemed so happy and raring to go! :(
Today has been so weird and rubbish, everythigns jsut knocked me for 6.

i sometimes forget that the reason im at uni is for a degree! instead i revolve everything around netball and cheerleading and socials! i even make sure any lectures/rehearsals i have dont clash with them lol!

lol sounds like me! ive managed to do almost all the work for one of my modules but then i got bored so made food and watched heroes instead lol!

i hate people that do that! one of my friends is really bad at doing that, he will always say we need to go out somewhere cos i never go out with him anymore yet he never makes any decisions about it, or will say im going to a party and thinks ill automatically know where it is etc  ive given up chasing after people now, its so annoying!

awwwwww. im getting fed up of friends and their exs lol! one of our friends is attempting to get back with her ex (who also happens to be our housemate!) and we can tell shes just going to get hurt as hes using her and doesnt wanna get back with her but whenever we try and show we are concerned about her she just throws it back in our faces and has already fallen out with one of our friends over it. ive given up now and so me and the rest of my house just talk about it instead lol and let each other know any new bits of info which we may have found out! sounds harsh but im not getting involved anymore, they obviously think theyre old enough to make their own mistakes

I'm sure you'll be fine, Dave. They said that for our prom if we drank beforehand we would be sent home. They never bothered to send anyone home even though they had been drinking. Do you get more drink at the party?

Today I have been annotating another load of research documents. Done half of my Economics homework too but I really can't be bothered to do the rest at the moment. I couldn't really be bothered to do it earlier and I think I wrote the biggest load of rubbish ever! lol. Got research and no end of coursework left to do too.

just come back from going to one of the bars on campus for a sort of cheerleading/american football social. i wasnt going to go but everyone else from my house was going so i thought id go. it was quite fun though i felt like such a cheapskate cos i was drinking tap water lol! were only there a few hours as we decided to leave early, as most of the other girls did too

I'm unlucky that I'm the last girl out of my friends to turn 18 so theyll all be going out without me :( but I can do what I like for my 18th because at least all of the girls will be old enough :D

Busy busy day!
Had dancing rehearsals most of the day, then went to my Aunties, then to my Mums,c ame home and text my friend to see how she was and she was at my doorstep 5 mins later and they were in the cars so I went out for a bit.. and now I'm here :)... anbsolutely shattered! lol

Luckily I have long black socks with it and I'll be wearing my shorts underneath! To be on the safe side!

Came in and just had a rubbish few hours. Came in drenched then got changed then had to go back out again to the shops, got back in and now being shouted at because I do nothing. Pffffffft. :thumbsdow

Do the other one tomorrow at some point luckily it's not ment to be handed in as it's for my personal study, so i only need to revise the notes for next friday. The school have stupidly put the Halloween disco the night before the Int1's/Int2's Personal Study double period so whoever's going to the halloween disco won't be able to study the night before so look's like i won't be stuyding. I only have two lessons tomorrow :D My Business teacher is on a trip with Year 13, as is my Economics teacher. I have Economics first tomorrow and we're not allowed in the common room so it kind of sucks :( Year 11 are being shown round it. Currently analysing a load of research documents. Rang my dad's cousin to tell her I'd won £50 on the premium bonds and she's won £150

I meant to finish my Economics homework this morning when I got in. The bus got to school 40 minutes late! This girl's mum was standing at her stop with her and had a go at him, haha. It's common sense not to turn up late so that you don't have to go down a diversion at the peak time. I only just made it there by the bell. Am really hoping we don't get that driver tomorrow, I was in a really bad mood after that as I had other work planned for my free and now I still have the Economics to do.

Abbie, if you go at weekends you're more likely to be ID'd. Is it a club or a pub/bar you're going to? If it's a pub/bar, the earlier you get there (7ish) it's less likely there's going to be bouncers, so that wouldn't be a problem. Clubs wise I know in Manchester they are really, really strict, so I don't know what you'd do then

No we're not going to manchester just sticking to our town, thats the thing they wanna go later and I know I'll get ID'd
I was talking to my parents before and My dad was like abbie, you can easily pass for 18, its just a problem of an ID and possibly borrowing someones.
You see I know someone with there old college ID card and the pic isnt the best and I could pass for it.
I really dont know, I mean if Im with the group that all have ok ID and stuff...argh! its so frustrating, I wish I had an older sister to borrow her ID like the reast of my friends do!

well i had a very eventful day! i was meant to meet up with my presentation group at 1pm so i was walking into town to get the bus up to campus and all of a sudden my hands and feet went really numb and tingly and i couldnt feel them and then my chest tightened and i couldnt breathe! it wasnt a gradual out of breath type thing, just happened really quickly, and it felt like there was something really closely around my neck even though there wasnt! i had to stop for a bit cos i couldnt physically walk any further! luckily i was near the bus stop so i managed to get onto the bus. though once i sat down i started to feel all faint and when i got up to get off the bus, everything went all blurry and i thought i was gonna pass out! had to stumble off the bus and sit down at the bus stop! my hands had gone a weird reddybrown colour and i had weird white patches up my arms and my legs wouldnt stop shaking. in the end this woman who was at the bus stop took me to the medical centre but i could barely walk there as i still could hardly breathe! funny thing was when i got there all the doctors were at lunch so i just had to sit there til they came back! anyway when i finally saw a nurse, after coming to the conclusion i didnt smoke and i didnt have ashma (sp?) (and looking at my stomach for some reason?! ) she decided i had an allergic reaction to my lunch! which i wasnt convinced about cos i always make that sandwich and the day before id used the same bread and the same quorn and the same mayo! and she was gonna send for an ambulance cos i could hardly breathe into one of those things they have for you to blow into! she asked the doctor to look at me who was also convinced it was an allergic reaction and she thought i was lying when i said i wasnt allergic to anything!

anyway i was fine in the end, still dont know what was wrong as im pretty certain it wasnt an allergic reaction (especially to my lunch!) but i had to sit outside the doctors office for 1hr and then i was sent to the sick bay! the nurse there wanted me to stay there but as i felt fine by then as about 3hrs had passed she told me i had to go home and rest and that i couldnt go to my lecture. ended up going to my lecture even though i was 1hr30mins late! and then i went to netball after as well!

sorry for the essay lol!

Argh Business coursework... half of the unit is due in on Thursday! I've done most of one bit; just a few things to change there, but the research bit is MASSIVE! Had 3 frees today and worked on it the whole time and it's still not done. No frees tomorrow ... :( Cue late nights I think...

Still got Economics to sort out as we are having a file check on Thursday. Both teachers today set essays today, but thankfully they're not due in until after half term.

then later in the day my friend in college who previously went to a different high school got a call to say a friend, not close, but you know, someone she knows and would say friend, well she was found in an up turned car dead this morning, its just so sad
Im taking her to see HSM3 tomorrow to cheer her up, cos she didnt know how to react cos they werent close but still it was someone she knew and its just an odd feeling

I'm in my second home, the library, i have established there is no way i will get any work done if i stay at the house so i have bought in my laptop to the library. The essays are not going well! But i'm sure it will all turn out fine.

I'm going home in a couple of weeks which is good as its reading week so should be able to get a lot done then. Really tired as well.

Not had a bad week spent more money that i don't have but eventually it will run out and i will have no choice then not buy anything!

We don't get a reading week at uni :( though to be fair, its only a month and a half till we leave for christmas, and we started late, so we don't really need it.

Can't believe i've been at uni for nearly a month already!! Its flown by. Its been amazing though, i've had such a great time so far.

I've had more homework in two days than I got last week! My friends have more work than me usually but one takes two sciences and Further Maths and the other does Maths and Art, which are known for being heavy subjects. Still doing the business, but thankfully as the drafts are all due in tomorrow we won't have anything to do for that over half term (well we shouldn't do!)

We have Core after half term :crying: I'll only have 7 frees left. Bet they don't take away the Monday morning one that isn't really necessary either.

today i had to meet my group at 1pm to discuss what we were gonna say in tomorrows seminar but i woke up really late and had to rush to get there on time! then had to rush home to get to netball initiation for 7pm when i hadnt sorted out my costume or showered or ate or anything! managed to actually get there early for the first time in my life lol! was quite amusing watching all the freshers have to do the horrible challenges lol i swear my initiation was really tame in comparison! have come home early cos everyone else was being boring and leaving, good job really seeing as i dont think id have been able to afford the taxi fare if id stayed! although the taxi guy i had was really nice and only charged me £6 when it was meant to be £7.40! now im just finishing off my dinner which i didnt have time to eat before i left!

Its been amazing though, i've had such a great time so far.

i dont get a reading week either! everyone on every other course seems to get one apart from my course! :(

i hate spending time in the library, i dont see how people manage it lol it really depresses me all that silence!

Awww dear. I think I'm still drunk today to be honest with you! But I drank as much as I usually do... but then I haven't been eating properly for ages, like eating hardly anything.. so that may have been what caused it. :searchme:
All I want right now though is a big Mc.Donals or something that is completely rubbish for you lol.
It was a good night... very eventful though. The police turned up as usual :lweek: so we all had to leave like 5 minutes early, but other than that it was a good night :)

We had it yesterday because another school has theirs tonight so we have had to move ours to Wednesday and because it's half term next week we won't be in school for Halloween so they always have the part the week before half term lol :)

I need to get sorted now, I have to get all my dancing costumes together as we have rehearsals from 6-9 but I have to be there at like 5 to have my hair done, and I have to clean downstairs and also do some more theory stuff as I have it tomorrow! Fingers crossed.

Also good luck with your interview Davey :D:thumbsup:

Hah I do realise that my post last night made no sense whatsoever anyways :) Haha sorry!

Yeahh my driving theory! I'm scared! I don';t wnat to fail.. that'll be £30 down the drain otherwise!

Been at dancing dress rehearsal since 5. How stressful!
I thought thw hwole point of wardrobe mistresses was for them to manage the wardrobe.... but no they focus on their own kids instead and get our parents to do all the dirty work, we all said we'd much rather had bought nice costumes and not have to do anything, but no they insisted on making costumes... yet its our parents who seem to actually be making them.. stupid.

Now I have to do theory stuff, I feel so unprepared!
And to top it all off... I still feel dizzy and shaky and sicky :(
I'm never drinking again!

Haven't posted in here for a few days. Thursday was really annoying, I had a big coursework deadline and one of the teachers can't seem to find enough wrong with my work so I had quite a lot of things to change round. I still had that Economics to finish from when the bus was late so I was struggling to get all of the stuff done and begged dad to take me in on Thursday so that I could get more done. He did, and I got the work finished just in time after having got a lesson's extension on it so that I could work on it in my free. The Economics wasn't even collected in though which annoyed me as I wrote about 3 pages for it. I went to sign my coursework in at lunch after I had finished it and one of the teachers had walked off with the sign in sheet! The other teacher had to go and find her with it. Got on the bus and I got hit in the back of the head twice with a football. I think once was deliberate as the boy who did it has always had a problem with me. Either way, I don't pay for a bus pass out of my own money to get a football in the back of my head  I had enough of that at primary school!

Today I've had a lazy day, I meant to do my Psychology and some of my English but it didn't happen. Going to have to get on with that tomorrow.

I hate coursework deadlines. On Friday I went to open access (big computer room), and now they have this stupid rule in the library you are only allowed on the computer for an hour and then it logs you off but open access doesn't have a time limit so its so busy all the time. I didn't want to lose my space so I stayed there for four hours doing a history essay and then my physics coursework. Somehow the graphs and text in a couple of pages of my coursework had got mixed up it took me about an hour to sort that out so in the end no time for lunch. :(

I have 3 coursework's to do over half term. Oh joy. I'm taking 9 books from the library to Poland so I'm just praying that terminal 5 don't lose my bag! I'm not looking forward to doing one of the chemistry ones because I just don't understand it at all...the other one I can just use the google for. See you guys again next Friday.x

Jeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeez, both of your schools seem quite strict on deadlines and that.
haha Stars at least your library is open... 95% of the time our library isn't even open, and when it is they ahve some sort of important meeting in there or "library class" for the Year 7's.

I ended up not getting my costumes sorted so in the morning it is!
I went over my Mums instead to see them because my Dad is working away again Monday and dancing rehearsals are all day tomrorow so tongiht was the last night to spend time with them again. It was nice though :) We had an Indian which was veryyy yummy :D
And now I'm back here relaxing but wnated to slap every channel on television for putting scary stuff on jsut because halloween is soon!

It would be funny if they did in a way; get back to college and they ask where the coursework is only for your reply to be, "Terminal 5 lost it!" Original; better than 'the dog ate it.' My dog actually did eat my homework when he was a puppy, needless to say the teacher didn't believe me!

Im soooo tired :(
Last night was my friends 18th, we started drinking at her house then went to the meal and drank some more then and then we went out into town.
I borrowed some ones ID that really did look like me, but it was national identity card so it didnt get excepted but it was alright we tried somewhere else and we were able to walk staright it, well by this point we were with our friends who are older than us so we looked ok.
Then when they went to somewhere else me and one of my friends left, cos our ID wasnt gonna get expected in this nightclub cos its like the main one of the town, but they went after midnight so it was ok, so me an friend came back to mine and went to sleep. It was good cos we both have work today and needed the extra sleep :p
Plus :p I was up at 6am yesterday cos I went to Aberystwyth open day and it was a LONG day, it was really good and I liked the place

sorry for the ramble :p

I have had a great day! My interview at Wilkinsons went alright - I just got a bit tongue tied with some answers to questions but if I don't get the job, it doesn't matter. It was an experience. I should hear by the end of the week if I got the job!

Just been out with mates and logged onto TRACK - I have an offer! :cheer: Bangor - English with Creative Writing - 260 points - Conditional offer! I am chuffed to pieces!! I honestly thought I'd get 5 rejections or something haha

Lol that sounds like it went pretty well, on our first night they cut the music off half way through the opening number, I was soo peeded off cos that was the only night people I knew were coming to watch me

How come, Kirsty?

Well it was my own fault really lol
I was too busy sorting out my cloaks for the next number after the interval (long story about the cloaks lol)
Anyways I was stressing over that so I jsut didn't have time, but I wanted to keep it and bring it home and freeze it and then eat it.. but they threw it out :(:(
Never minddddd

Omg did they really Abbie? Thats badd lol!
They blacked out on the youngest group (3/4 years old) when they were supposed to give them a reprise so they could get off in the light, so we had to call them off bless them!
Haha and they didn't play the next track so we were stuck in the end pose of a dance for agesss before they put the next song on, us and the audience started laughing haha.
Hopefully it will go better tomorrow!
I need to so much school work... Sunday will have to be my hardcore school work day....lets see how long that lasts lol

Thankfully I don't go back until a week tomorrow.

 you get a long half term!

It's because we don't have so long for Christmas this year. We go back on like the 5th of January instead of about the 10th or something. I wish whoever decides these things would use their heads, it's probably more useful at Christmas due to exams. Because they've changed most of the subjects down to two units, I have 50% of Economics and of Psychology in January.

Done my Economics homework now. I'm using up way too much paper and EMA haven't paid me for last week. The school was only open for 4 days so they better not take money off me for that as I was in for every day that the school was open. Even if they did want to get fussy about it being 5 days, we only had 1 day the first week so that adds up to a week's money. They might have paid it after I checked yesterday I don't know, but I wasn't going to pay £1.30 (that's the cheaper of the two bus companies and child's fare) to go a two minute drive down the road when it might not have even been in there anyway. Its gone up 20p in one go since the fuel prices went down so I was not happy to find out about that.

Oh yeah, my dad's cousin rang up earlier to ask me something and my dad answered the phone and was almost using choice words on her. We had a woman ring up earlier thinking it was the electrical store in town. We get that a lot as if you change a 0 in our phone number to a 1 you get the electrical place. My dad told her that it was a 1 and not a 0 and she went off to phone the electrical store. A couple of minutes later she rings up again; she put the wrong number in again

Today's been good.
went to get a tree for Alyson's memorial on friday afternoon so there was 5 of us in Dobbies and it was chaos trying to find the tree. then we had to make sure erin didn't tip the poor tree out the trolley in the end we got it back in once piece then we found out a branch had fell off.

now i'm sat here listenin to music, eating chocolate cake and trying to find a poem that i want to read out on friday and i can't seem to find it. I know what book it came from and my aunt has that book but i can't get to my gran's before friday. I am now panicking cause it look's like i'm going to have to find another poem to read out but i don't want to cause that one was perfect.

I did something like that the other day.. I wanted to ring my mate Lisa.. she gave me her number, but i dialled it in wrong, and I got through to this old lady (well she sounded old), I was like " Hi is Lisa there please" "Who?" "Lisa." "Sorry love think you have the wrong number" "Oh sorry, bye"...
So I tried again.. and I dialled the wrong number AGAIN! Woman picks up "Hello?" "Ermmm this isn't Lisa is it" "No" "Sorry again"..
Needless to say I didn't phone after that I texted her so she could phone me lmao. Was so embrassing.

today i had a seminar but i wasnt really paying attention. then went into town and got some stuff for my costume for tomorrow and saw these really nice boots but they didnt have my size :(

so my day was fine til about 3hrs ago when the bt guy came to fix the fault on our phone line (which bt had told us there was a fault on). turns out the phone line was fine and it was the broadband which was the problem, so was on the phone for about 2hrs trying to get the guy to understand what i was saying  he got me to do all this stuff which wasnt useful and now thinks its fixed when its still exactly the same! i think i would have felt less stressed if id been bashing my head against the wall for 2hrs lol! had to go and get chips for dinner cos i was starving and hadnt had chance to cook anything

no thankfully if theres a fault on the line bt fix it for free. however cos the fault is actually with the broadband if someone comes out to fix it then we have to pay. the thing is the guy on the phone wasnt fixing the problem cos he couldnt understand what i was saying and so the problem hasnt been fixed but i dont wanna have to pay for someone to come and fix it if its a really simple problem!

had a good day yesterday. didnt really do anything for most of the day. then i had cheerleading but it was only for 1hr yesterday so that we had more time to get ready to go out! and we played a halloween game lol! then went out last night to this bar in town and had such a good night, although i spent too much and drank too much! these chinese girls came over to me and held out a camera and said something about a picture, i though they wanted me to take a pic of them but they actually wanted me in the photo with them! it was pretty freaky seeing as i didnt even know them lol! me and my housemate left at about 3am and we were the last people to leave out of everyone we went out with, which we were pretty pleased about! the bar was staying open til 6am! but we couldnt manage to stay that long seeing as we went out at 7.30pm. my shoes were hurting me so i decided that walking through town to get a taxi i would take them off, but it was really wet so this guy who id only just met let me wear his shoes lol even though they were miles too big for me! but it was a really good night! :D

today we had cheerleading training. i only woke up 10mins before we had to get there so i was rushing around! neither of the coaches were there cos they were on a training course thing so we just sat around and talked which was good. not really done much else today, though need to tidy my room at some point as its a complete mess!

Still managed not to do an essay I have to do. Been back over some work for the subjects I have exams for in January though. May well have been wasting my time as I don't remember much of it. Went down town as my dad was heading down there anyway so I thought I might as well go and check my bank. EMA paid me for last week thankfully. That was the last bit of luck there though; there were no £10's so I could only take £20 out. Not done much else, I got a text off my friend but she's completely hung over so it didn't make a lot of sense. It was a lot better than the one I got at 5am though, lol.

Hope everyone feels better soon and Dave you get the smell sorted!

I am in the library trying to make a start of the mountain of work i have got to get through and i bought my laptop as the internet at home is so slow!
We had fireworks last night which was cool although i was like a mother, telling them to get out the way, i really did not fancy a night in A and E as they had been burned!

I do not want to go back to school tomorrow :( Yesterday I went down town with Mum and we got the bus on the way back as my dad couldn't come and get us. The bus driver that me and my mum have nicknamed Santa was on there and when I was getting off he said see you Wednesday; he never does the afternoon run so it looks like I will arrive later than I'm supposed to and have no time to do work before registration.

Today I've done a little bit of work but I can't really be bothered. I should do more later but we will see. Been watching TV too, making the most of it as it will likely be something of a rarity from tomorrow.

I said he never does the afternoon run, so he'll be doing the morning one. He arrives just before you could ring up the council about lateness (half an hour late) so he just goes on being late because no one can do anything.

I wonder how much work I will end up with tomorrow...I'm guessing at a lot. The Economics texts books weren't delivered on time so now the teachers are setting a load of work to make up for it. Business tomorrow is with the teacher who can't seem to find enough wrong with my work.. that will be fun *is hoping the other teacher marked my coursework*

No frees tomorrow :( None on Friday either as they're sending us to something even more pointless than General Studies. Yes, such lesson does exist

OMG got an A for the Business coursework that we did before half term I hadn't even done all of it. I will finish the rest off though, obviously the more UMS marks the better.

That wasn't much of a consolation for today though...

The school bus stops at the library so I have to walk a bit of the way to school and then to the other end of it to the 6th form centre. The pavement's really uneven and today I ended up tripping up. I'm not surprised as I'm disabled and am always tripping up on uneven pavements like that but the two people in front of me turned round and saw, plus however many others that were coming down the street at the time. All of which go on the same bus as me... some of those aren't going to forget that one quickly :thumbsdow It annoyed me because they've just redone a road that there was nothing wrong with and they've never touched that pavement.

Core   :crying: ! I'm not in the same group as my friend and she has the same free as me and they've put me in the group with the two people who got away with bullying me in lower school and who still spend lessons making comments. I saw the list with their names on before I saw mine and I said to my friend, "I better not be in that group," and I am. I have two subject's lessons with them as it is which can't be avoided because of the blocking but this could be; really don't want to go to it now :thumbsdow :thumbsdow :wall:

We went to the fireworks last night in Bangor, they were good and then i met up with some of my friends and we had a few drinks in the pub. IT was really nice. Up really early now though as i have a lecture at 9 so should probably get a move on!

Really busy day to day jam packed 9 - 6 and some people say students don't work hard those clearly havent seen my timetable, its evil!

 :( Hope they go away soon Kath!

I think that bus driver that calls me flower has been fired after several ticket inspections on which at least 3 people were found without tickets, claiming that he didn't give them them. We have another new driver now, who today decided to stop and have a chat to his mate through the door and then let him on for a freebie! It's not even a service bus! And I think students are more in need of free trips than his mates :thumbsdow

I have a month long project. It's not even that big a topic, cue size 20 font I think...

I think the novelty of 6th form is definitely wearing off for some people now. We've been back to school three days now and two of the three 6th form toilets have been completely trashed. I thought people would stop at the chairs and tables but clearly not. There was a table leg in the middle of the floor today!

Core was soooo boring! The two people that I really didn't want to be in the same group as skived it today, so it can only be worse when they are tracked down. I sat next to a friend of a friend and we were just staring evily at the teacher all lesson. Didn't learn anything that I didn't know already. I went from the common room to the room I was meant to which was in a different building and then the teacher moves us to a room in the same corridor as the common room! So annoying.

We had a woman in from Sainsbury's to talk about recruitment today and she finished the talk before the end of the lesson. The teacher wanted us to stay in the class and said she had to take the woman back to the store which is like a 5 minute drive from my house, and there were about 10 minutes to go until the end of the lesson. She was never going to get back before the end of the lesson so we were all like, "common room!" lol. Typing up the notes from the talk now; I can't seem to be happy with any work I do today.

not been on here for most of the week!

monday i didnt have my lecture cos we had essay surgeries instead. stood in the rain for 25mins for a bus when 4 should have come along in that time! thought i was gonna be late but thankfully the person before me was still in there. then i had to blag my way through the meeting as i havent done any real work for that module yet as ive got other essays which have to be in sooner. then had netball which was ok. then was persuaded by my housemates to go out monday night and it was a good night even though not many of us were out and i didnt have much money. then came back home and talked for hours which wasnt good cos i only ended up with 3hrs sleep as i have a 9am lecture on tuesdays!

tuesday i didnt do much. went to my lecture then was gonna go to the library to start my essay but couldnt cos the bt woman was meant to phone me sometime between 11.30am and 6pm  so couldnt even catch up on sleep in case i didnt hear my phone but she didnt bother phoning! then went cheerleading which was ok and i was picked to go on the bus to the game on sunday but cos my essay is due on monday i couldnt go :( then went home with the plan of having a nap for 1 - 2hrs at 7.20pm and then having our weekly moaning/bitching session in the kitchen! instead i didnt wake up til 1.30pm on wednesday! cant believe i managed to sleep for 18hrs!

didnt do much on wednesday, did all the reading which i needed to do for my essay. the bt woman was meant to phone me again on wednesday but didnt! then decided not to go to the fireworks display they were having on campus cos it was raining!

thursday had a seminar and only 8 of us turned up! then went to the library to choose which standup routine i was gonna write my essay on

friday was an alright day. went to the library all morning to do my essay and it was quite productive so that was good! missed the call from the bt woman even though she wasnt meant to phone that day and hadnt bothered to phone tuesday, wednesday or thursday when she said she would and id stayed in all day waiting when i had other things i needed to be doing! so then she said she would phone in between 5pm and 9pm which was slightly annoying cos i have cheerleading from 5pm til 7pm and then had a talk about cheerleading after so didnt know whether id hear my phone but she didnt bother phoning anyway! cheerleading was good though. i havent been enjoying it much this year so far for various reasons (and most other people feel that way too) but fridays training was good, we were put into groups and had 30mins doing each thing which was fun and i learnt a lot. found out i could do a roundoff which i never knew i could do!

today i had cheerleading in the morning which was quite good. they were trying to teach us to do cartwheels on the opposite hand to what we usually do them on and i felt like a right idiot! then came home and did some of my essay but got bored so will probably leave the rest for tomorrow

sorry about the essay lol didnt realise id written that much!

Ugh what a stupid weekend! :(:(

Stupid school! I can't wait to leave!, well it's my fault really but still. In the half term we got given loads of work to do but with the show every night of the half term from like 5-10 and the whole of Satruday I didn't get any done, I oculd've done it in the days and had plans to... but then I'd end up having to go and see my Mum or babysit or something, but yeah no excuse for it really. Then Friday we had to hand in an RE essay but I obviously didn't and my teacher wasn't really mad with me, she jsut said that I need to take more care with deadlines because we'd been given loads of time (which I already knew and I was dissapointed with myself), so that put me in a bad mood and then I had English Lit... which I struggle with badly as it is and she was banging on about 2 essays I need to hand in... I odn't have a clue what to do! I don't understand Lit so unless she wants me to hand in a load of mumbo jumbo, I'm not handing anything in. Anyways, that jsut got to me and I went to the block and sat down and my 2 friends were in there and I don't know.. I just like crumbled into tears. Not because teachers were on at me.. they had a right to be, but just because I'm that stupid to let everything slip and that I'm so disorganised and my Mum and Dad want me to quit dancing anyways because it's not taking me anywhere but I don't want too... falling back on school work because of dancing jsut gives them motive really :(

Then went out for an Indian for my friends 18th and by the time I ad got thete... their food was already ebing served! So I had to order mine as I got there and so got it later and ugh it was silly, but then we all went back to his and that was fun :)

Today I went to a friends house to watch the rugby, and I was walking out and my Nan started having a go that I should be "helping more with housework"... yep fair enough but surely she should be more concerned about my school work first?? LIke not actually letting me go out until she see's I've done some, then again I am 17 I should be doing all of this on my own!

Then I went to see ym Mum Dad and Sister and then I went back out to the cinema with my friends (when I should've been in doing work...see what I mean?), and 2 of our friends actually work in the cinema so while we were watching the film there was a group of lads sat 2 rows in front but 1 was filming so the 2 guys we were with went to tell their manager so then they kept turning around and giving us filthy looks and all that, and I actually thought they would start after the film.. but they didn't thankfully.

So yeah absolutely pants weekend, but it is completely my fault and I need to get my prioritites straight.... and fast!!

EDIT: Sorry for the rant, I don't expect anyone to read it all... I jsut needed to let it out!

I know there should be someone I can talk to about it... I jsut don't feel liek there is. It sounds stupid, but at home I'd jsut get shouted at more and school don't really want to know if I'm honest.

I jsut went downstairs and my Nan was on about me doing housework again so I said to her "well shouldn't you be shouting at me to do school work instead?" whcih then set her off and apparently school work is always my excuse to not do housework and that "I do my school work anyways"...shows how much she knows, she doesn't have a clue at how much I'm struggling but as long as her housework gets done she's not bothered :( :( :(

Perdita

Perhaps your Nan is not coping so well with the housework at the moment herself, that is why she might be having a go at you all the time. I am no longer at school but working full time and doing all the housework by myself and cooking and washing is quite a struggle at times. Perhaps you could talk to your Nan about agreeing on who does what and when, that might ease the tension.

will your english lit teacher not help you if you tell them how much youre struggling? i think maybe you need to sit down and have a chat with your nan about it so she knows how stressed you are, maybe shes only asking you to do the housework cos she thinks you have spare time, if she knew how much work you had she might stop asking so much

Can't wait for later on tonight when my flatmates come back, I've been on my own since Friday afternoon. It's nice to have a bit of peace and quiet but its been a bit too quiet. The guy in the room directly below mine decided to have a rave at 3am Saturday morning

Aww so I take it you have your own bathroom, Ive been looking around uni accomdation and some of the bathrooms are in a right state

If you can afford it, go for ensuite. It costs a lot more than standard accommodation but you have a more privacy and you don't have to share a toilet and shower with up to 12 people. Plus, ensuite accommodation is usually smaller, mixed sex flats whereas shared facilities are all single sex with up to 12 people.

i think it depends where you go on what the accomodation is like. when i looked around liverpool there was about 40 people sharing 3 showers and they were disgusting and it was single sex accomodation, but in my first year i had standard accomodation as the ensuite was over £1000 more expensive and we had 2 toilets and 1 shower between 5 of us and it was mixed sex accomodation (although you could opt for single sex if you wanted), the ensuite accomodation had 8 people sharing but their kitchen was bigger than ours

Nope, because we're ensuite we have to do our own bathrooms. They just clean the kitchen and corridors. Well, they're supposed to, our kitchen has only been cleaned properly once since we've been here. If you leave dishes to dry and the cleaner comes in, she'll walk straight out and not bother cleaning  She nicked our trolley too and the broken chair. We got the trolley back but the chair was thrown in the skip.

I pay £1000 more than the next accommodation down. I pay more for my room than I do for tuition fees.

We don't have a cleaner at all. Which is annoying. We tend to spend a Sunday afternoon cleaning the kitchen listening to the chart show on Radio 1.

Horrible day, thunder. Ew.

Hoping the dog will come back tonight :D
I let him stay over last night. I had to stay downstairs with him though. He laid on me all night  But let him out in the morning.

Ooo I love enchanted. I watch it all the time! So addictive ! Quite annoyed I didn't wait though! I paid something like 12.99 for mine lol!

oh right. here the cleaner cleans your bathroom if you have ensuite, although people i know who had ensuite in our first year said it was annoying cos they would wake you up at 8am! the cleaner in our house was like that with our kitchen too, always complained if there was anything at all out on the side! then we got a new cleaner who was really nice so that was good. i miss not having a cleaner now cos one of my housemates is so messy and its only a few of us who ever bother cleaning the kitchen
