i actually have to do something else when he is on screen, i cant watch him, hi is awful

he's learned to tone it down a bit, hence why he's not up for eviction this week. if we was he'd be sure to go, saving Sylvia, so i wish he was up really!

Kim

Mikey's nicked crisps now, not to mention been disgusting with that cup thing and revealed exactly how he goes to the toilet. Ewww!

Custard creams, I'm starting to think that maybe Sylvia did it and buscuits are her thing after the cookie business and her saying she'd hide food if she wanted to hide it.. Luke would have said if he found them in Mikey's stuff. Someone's obviously got a good hiding place as this still hasen't been resolved, unless Bry's right that Big Brother took them. I'm sure housemates might accuse people of it in the diary room tonight.. stealing food is something I think will come up often in the reasons for nominating.

Mikey really needs to go - and fast!

Mario really is deluded and I agree that I wish he was up for eviction again this week.. his line the other night "there's 6 million viewers watching us" ... just take away another 3 million from that Mario. :p

Kim
24-06-2008, 20:16
Lol. Yep, his fault for being revolting with Lisa on more than one occasion. Davina should start saying into the house, "You are live on Channel 4, please do not use tongues!"

I love Mario. He's so arrogant - Its so funny to watch. Dont get me wrong, i don't like him as a person, but he's entertaining. Get rid of the boring people first (Rex, Dale, Rachel etc etc..), otherwise this series will be rubbish.

Kim
24-06-2008, 23:10
Not particularly bothered who is evicted this week.

I thought the standing up thing was going to have something to do with housemates discussing the auditions; didn't think they'd all fit in that jail somehow.

Was it just me or did Mohamed and Rex look like they wanted to go to jail? Can't believe they walked out of the diary room looking impressed with themselves over it.. wonder how many hours they get in there after the others got 4 hours and 32 minutes for discussing auditions.

And Big Brother so should have put, "Housemates must not discuss any part of the audition process," on tape and just kept playing it into the house, the amount of times we heard that line tonight.

can i just ask WHY they aren't allowed to talk about auditions? its not like they would have got to know each other very well, with only a few hours together tops. plus if BB doesn't want details of the process being talked about they can always edit it out for the evening show or put birdsong over the live feed etc.

So glad Slyvia is up for eviction let's hope she gets the boot on Friday. did you see her last night giving Stu a hard-time, can you stop flirting with me please, get a life you stupid girl she is so green with envy that Stu may fancy Jen more than her.

Hopefully next week we can have Dennis, Jen and the plank of wood Dale up. Keep Mario in he's sleezy you just have to laugh Rex to stay in he's a hottie.

juat watched it on catch up - how deluded is sylvia- she ia like a mad stalker, i almost feel sorry for the new chicken stu

although i think jen is doing her best to stir things up

Abbie
25-06-2008, 15:15
I dont know, I think Jen was being pretty honest and saying things how it was and when she was Talking to Slyvia she tried to decrobe what had been said in the best way and then it was Slyvia who had twisted it

Bryan
26-06-2008, 09:42
i'm going off luke very fast - little worm. his campness is annoying me and so is his stupid accent. him sitting in the diary room bitching about everyone is just annoying. he think he's entertaining clocking onto the old tradition of there always being a housemate making their observations on their housemates in a witty way in the diary room, making them liked by the public. but he knows this, and for me it isnt working.

he's such a little slimeball, he slithers between the groups, one minute he's best friends with Sylvia and co, then he's off with the grown up. he makes out like Slyvia is one of this best friends in the house yet he nominated her! he's a right little **** stirrer and i hate this about him! totally untrustworthy! the thing is no one, except for Rachel, can see this, so he'll probably go far - little rat.

Darnel is annoying me also, one minute he's bitching about the "cool group", then the next he's sitting with them, **** licking them.

Chloe O'brien
26-06-2008, 11:02
Get Slyvia the psycho out she's turning into a bunny boiler, she's is doing anything to attract the camera attention. Luke is a little sh*t stirring slimeball who needs to be up for nomination next week give the little ****** a shock. Bex is another one who is getting on my ti*s at the moment with her moaning "No-one likes me" Jen and Dale are still game playing she has no interest in him she's just keeping with him to stay in the house and he is thick as mince not to see it.

There needs to be some tactical nomiations over the next couple of weeks we need to get rid of the moaners and boring farts who do nothing but parade around the place half naked. Get rid of Jen, Dale, Bex,Luke and Dennis firstly.

My top 5 at the moment are:

Kat, Rex, Darnell, Rachel and Stu

DaVeyWaVey
26-06-2008, 15:07
I haven't caught up with last night's highlights yet, but all I can is that Sylvia is really stirring things up! The way Tuesday's ended with Sylvia telling Stuart "stop flirting with me" ...yeah right, your the one doing the flirting Sylvia!

apparently dennis could be throw out fr spitting at mohammed! what do you think should he be chucked??

Perdita
27-06-2008, 09:51
Yes, he should be thrown out and never let anywhere near the place again. Spitting at somebody is disgusting, a disgraceful, childish and unforgiveable thing to do.

Bryan
27-06-2008, 10:00
Ooo the drama in the house eh? I don't think he should be chucked out, it's only a bit of phlegm at the end of the day! He could have done much worse things, I see people spit at one another all the time in arguments, it's not the worst crime in the world.

Debs
27-06-2008, 10:03
but is is a type of assault

i agree he should be chucked out, they kicked out alex for threatening behaviour, she never actually did anything too anyone! dennis has and should be thrown out!

there is going to be no one left at this rate, bb must have known when they were put in the house that they were all extremes - even rachel is extremely nice, and that they would clash, they cant really keep him in there tho, there will be continued tension, im really surprised mo didnt punch him, that would been a normal reaction if someone spat in somones face - its disgusting

does anyone else agree that luke is becomming really annoying - he is another stirrer

Dennis Removed

Day 23 - Fri 27 Jun 2008, 13:30 PM

Dennis is removed from the Big Brother House for unacceptable behaviour...

Housemate Dennis McHugh has been removed from the Big Brother House for unacceptable behaviour.

A number of housemates were involved in an argument at approximately 12.45am this morning (27th June), which resulted from a prank played by Rex that ended in a picture painted by Jennifer being slightly defaced.

During the argument Dennis spat in the face of fellow housemate, Mohamed.

Big Brother intervened immediately to break up the argument. The 'as live' streaming from the house on E4 was cut and no footage was broadcast.

All the housemates involved in the argument were sent to separate bedrooms and kept apart for the rest of the night. Dennis and Mohamed were called separately to the diary room in the early hours to discuss the incident.

After production staff and executives at Channel 4 reviewed the footage this morning, Dennis was called to the diary room a second time at 1:15pm and told he was immediately being removed from the house.

Following Dennis's removal, Big Brother continues to call to the diary room a number of other housemates to discuss their involvement in the argument and remind them of the rules governing housemates' behaviour.

A Channel 4 spokeswoman said: "Spitting in someone's face is seriously offensive and Mohamed was understandably upset. Big Brother has very clear rules about offensive behaviour. Like all housemates Dennis was clearly informed before entering the house that he faced eviction if he acted in an unacceptable manner."

Viewers will be able to see the incident and how it was handled in tonight's highlights show on Channel 4 at 9pm.

Tonight's eviction vote, involving Mohamed and Sylvia, will proceed as planned.

Wonder if they will put another new housemate in :hmm:

Abbie
27-06-2008, 14:57
Im watching on the live feed now, they dont seem happy at all, and they all dont like darnell now

Kim
27-06-2008, 15:29
That balances it out though, because no one was evicted the week that Stuart was brought in to replace Alexandra.

I thought Dennis getting sent to jail when he did was a bit unfair. Fair enough he did break the rules and needed to be sent to jail for it, but the rules were broken the night before and it wasn't right for the whole house to be punished because of something Dennis and Darnell did through not being able to rehearse for the task. It was hard enough because they had to start teaching Rex to take over, and not allowing any other housemate to touch the DVD player was just ridiculous, I thought.

I thought Sylvia was being serious with Luke at the end, but I actually found it quite amusing when she explained why she did what she did.

Abbie

Something to do with him and the agrument that got Dennis removed

StarsOfCCTV
27-06-2008, 15:37
Ohh...well they shouldn't be. :p He's not my favourite housemate but it wasn't his fault Dennis couldn't control his anger and flew off the handle...

Kim
27-06-2008, 15:59
Maybe Darnell did something to wind Dennis up or whatever, but that doesn't mean that Dennis is not aware of the rules and cannot control his own actions. Yelling can be something that just happens when you lose your temper, which he probably wouldn't have got removed for, but spitting is just out of order. If Darnell did have a serious involvement then he should go to jail but the remainder of the housemates shouldn't turn against him for it. I guess we will have to wait and see what he did do though.

Abbie
27-06-2008, 16:02
All I can gather from still watching the live feed :o :p Is that Darnell stepped in the the argument, might have been slightly aggressive to make to worse, when he wasnt really involved in the first place :searchme:

Kirsty :]
27-06-2008, 16:29
I'm glad Dennis is gone. Spitting is digusting anyways, let alone spitting in someones face. Yuck!! Imagine the germs! Urghh.
Anyways, they all had cider, everything just got blown completely out of context and I think BB should have stepped in earlier when Jen was crying uncontrolably.

Was watching earlier and all housemates were merged again and Mohamed was stood by the sink with his head down (after Dennis had gone) and Dale was by the counter looking at him, then Mohamed accidentally caught eye contact with Dale and Dale started getting aggressive and threatening him.

Good riddance to the little thug all we need now is to get rid of slimey back-stabbing toad Luke, Wooden Dale and game player Jen. I haven't seen any of the arguments but for what I can tell it all started with Rex putting something on Jen's picture and it kicked off from there. In my opinion it should have been between those two and no-one else. Once again BB is just lit the blue torch and stood back to watch the fireworks by providing them with booze. We have seen it countless times in previous BB where arguments have began due to too much booze and BB has just let it esccalate.

If they are to put in another HM I hope they put in a stunning girl to make a play for Dale and watch the real Jen come out she will be pucking, she has been playing Dale for a full all along. GET HER OUT!!!

good riddance to the vile dennis, i think mohammed showed great restraint coz if hed spat in my face id have grabbed the little twerp and stuck him through the mirror!

if anything im now supporting mohammed, rex and darnell more!

Jen - can't stand this woman! Obviously playing up to the cameras with her "crying". If I was in there, I'd tell her to get a grip and I'd tell Dale to stop sitting on Jen's tits...He only stood up for Jen because he fancies her and saying Mohammed sits on Rex's penis - he is sitting on Jen's tits!

It should have stayed between Jen and Rex. It got totally out of control because of Jen's unbelievable crying. Rex said sorry so many times - what else was he meant to do?! ... everyone else getting involved doesn't help matters. Bex really showed how vile she is and Dennis's behaviour was absolutely disgusting.

Rachel was the only woman talking bleedin' sense and then they all sniped at her accusing her of taking Rex's side. Do any of them have a brain cell in there?... they sided with Dennis's disgusting behaviour and thought Rex smudging Jen's picture was worse?! ... totally and utterly ridiculous. The picture didn't even look that different - get a grip!

And I haven't seen Jen be upset over missing her child yet...and she gets upset over some silly picture?...well atleast we know what she cares about more.

I felt so sorry for mo this evening. So bad for him, the poor guy

Dennis deserved to go, shouldn't have done that at all

My opinions for jen have completly changed, why did she need to go on like that, there was no need for it
She caused it all.
I don't like Bex any more either, no need to get involved

Does anyone know what they were chanting when sylivia was gettin evicted
Was it.. 'Get Jen Out'??

For fooks sake give Jen an award for shedding the most fake tears because Rex stuck some pizza on her picture big deal. For crying out loud your a grown woman get over it,there was no need for anyone else to get involved but what Mohammad said was right Rex is going to be targeted next week come nominations. Keep him in SB members he is star in that show. Get Dale or Luke out next week. that will really shake the house up I hope Rex is there to the end with Cookie. I love him best housemate since John Tickles and we all know how much Chloe thinks JT was robbed of BB4.

According to teletext Slyvia received 90% of votes this week just goes to show the fake brigade are not as popular as they think. Funny how bb did not show Jen telling Dale that she didn't want to get into a relationship with him. The next couple of days will be interesting as it could go either way for or against Rex. Let's hope it goes for Rex and we get rid of the plank Dale. "GO REX, GO REX"

LostVoodoo
28-06-2008, 08:38
i do agree with everyone saying Jen was being really over the top with her reactions, but i also think Rex was really winding them up because he quite obviously wasn't sorry and was smirking away and this was infuriating her even further.

and also, omg, what was with Darnell totally kicking off like that?! it was scary and seemed quite out of character.

and finally, a note to Mario and Lisa- they seemed like the vaguely responsible mum and dad of the series last night! ok, so people might say Mario was playing up to the cameras to look like a hero or whatever, but in a situation like that he really did diffuse some of the tension in the boys room. and every now and again i heard Lisa pop up as the voice of reason in the other room.

Kirsty :]
28-06-2008, 10:26
Just been watching it on Channel 4
What is Jen doing?! She must have repeated herself about a million times!
Rex said sorry... what else was he meant to do? All she did was cry uncontrollably which got everyone wound up. Silly girl. Grow up.
I lost respect for Bex aswell for getting up in Mohamads face like that. There was no need at all!
As for Dennis! I'm glad BB made the right decision and threw him out. Spitting is the most disgusting vulgar thing that anyone could do and there is just no way it can be excused!
Dale just got on my nerves. He's so agressive and angry.
Fair play to Mario. Even though I think he can be a creep I had a great deal of respect for him for the way he acted in the situation.
If all the housemates reacted in the same way as Kat, Rachel, Mario and even Lisa... I doubt any of that would have happened.

The first chants btw, I could have sworn they were saying "Get Dale out" and the second chants were "Get Jen out"..we can only hope eh? :)

Bye bye Sylvia

Bryan
28-06-2008, 10:54
gutted that Sylvia went. that's 4 phone calls i wasted eviciting mohammed. the public piss me off - they always vote out the characters and leave the boring *******s in. once again mohammed ends up playing the victim and gets the sympathy vote.

rex and mohammed are total morons, why even bother being there when they know no one likes them? their days are numbered, it's obviously going to be them two up for nomination this week.

i'm on jen's side with all of this, it's the principle of things. rex had no right to ruin her painting, it doesnt matter what it was it was the fact he disrepected something of hers when she didn't warrant it. good on her friends for defending her.

I think Darnell should have been removed, how agressive was he!? far more than dennis! Yeah dennis spat in Mohammed's face but it looked as if Darnell was proper going to beat up Dale and Stuart when he started shouting off.

Good episode last night, the ****s starting to hit the fan, and Alex can't be blamed for this one for a change! Just gutted Sylvia went...

I really hope that Mo doesn't go up for eviction this week, if he does i think we all need to make sure he doesn't go.
All he did was just try and stop it by saying' Its just a painting', which is true there was no need for the whole argument. Jen was being absolutly pathetic about it.

Poor Mo, Bex was the one who came in his face, sqauaring up to him. She kept going back to try and start something. And Mo didn't react.

This week i think they should all go up because of their actions
Lets only hope that Jen & Dale will be gone.

Dennis will be questioned by police after spitting in Mohamed’s face.

Channel 4 and the show's producers Endemol are said to be cooperating with police, according to a report in The Sun.

A spokeswoman for Channel 4 said: "We are aware that they are looking into the matter."

Meanwhile, a source from Borehamwood Police Station, near the Big Brother house, confirmed that spitting at someone classifies as common assault.

The source added: "We’ve been speaking back and forth to Big Brother and Endemol. The chief inspector is looking into it. We will look at the footage to see if any offence has been committed and we’ll take the appropriate action."

Dennis was removed from the house yesterday. If charged, he could face a fine or six months in prison.

six months in prison for spitting? has this country gone mad! I must be the only one here not to see spitting in someone's face as that big a deal? sorry but where i live and what i've seen in life, it's common... :searchme:

I'm starting to like Mario now, he's becoming a bit of a legend. Him and Lisa really helped difuse the situation last night.

The group really is divided now, this week's nominations are going to be VERY interesting.

On Big Mouth and on the DS forums, Jen is really getting a lot of flack for the argument. But i don't think that's fair - she's done nothing wrong. Smug smary Rex was in the wrong. As was agressive Darnell and gobby Stuart/Dale/Bex. I think everyone over-reacted, having had a bit too much to drink.

Will be interesting to see how things pan out this week in the house.

rex was in the wrong for slightly smudging her piccie BUT she went totally over the top and he did apologize and still she went on and on and on!

i agree about mario, although he is a pain i dread to think what could happen in that house without him in there to calm everything down!

DaVeyWaVey
28-06-2008, 13:21
I hate to say it but Mario is starting to grow on me too.. :o He did well controlling the situation as did Lisa and they really are starting to make me laugh with some of their comments, even if I don't like them as people - some of their deluded comments do make me chuckle. :D I think they should be kept in for the entertainment value... even though I don't really like them.

I am glad the police are investigating, sorry but Dennis's spitting was completely out of order. I really do worry about our society when I actually watch this now ... Jen cries uncontrollably over a picture, yet she doesn't seem to acknowledge her own child that she has left on the outside.. Rex was in the wrong for smudging the picture, but Jen played up to it and overexaggerated it in an attempt to be attention seeking even after Rex apologised in an attempt to gain sympathy and it did work.. I think Rex was smirking as he knew how ridiculous the whole drama was over a smudge on a picture.. he probably knew she was overreacting and smirked, I didn't blame him..the whole drama was bizarrely quite funny as a mountain was made out of a molehill! If I was in there, I would have told Jen to get a grip lol! Mohammed is more of a man than Dale or Dennis could ever be because he didn't react aggressively, he was only trying to make a point and he didn't react when Dennis spat on him and if that happened to me, I would have reacted. Mo is more of a man as he stepped back and didn't retaliate.

I am gutted that Sylvia has gone though - I thought her interview was great with Davina. She definetly should have stayed. In a way, I wish Mo went, then atleast he wouldn't have to put up with Jen or Dale any longer.

it was sorted then everyone got involved and jen milked it for everything

Kim
28-06-2008, 13:42
I could understand a bit of what Jennifer did, but she was attention seeking when she kept going on that she would never disrespect food he made by putting her finger in it. She'd had her bit of sympathy, and still she wanted more.

I understand why she was so annoyed about it. It only took her an hour fair enough, but it was her painting. Also, the first time Rex apologised it seemed like he saw the whole thing as a joke - if Jen thought that then I see why she didn't see his apologies as good enough.

Mohamed next out for me.

Felt sorry for Kat because I didn't realise she didn't drink the alcohol or anything and now she doesn't have any cookies this week.

Get out of jail free card lol wonder who they'll use it because of.

If the housemates have any brains they will put Jen, Dale and Stu up for eviction then at least drama queen Jen can have something else to cry about. Fair enough Rex was a s**t for mucking around with the picture but he did apologise it should have ended at that. There was no need for everyone else to stick there nose into it. Jen and her crew can moan all they like about how disgusting it was of Dennis to spit at Mo but they understood why he did it. If it was her face or Lukes face he had spat it they would still be in the diary room now crying about it.

Dale is much as a thug as Dennis and he needs to be booted out he offers nothing that is entertaining in anyway. We know that Jen, Dale and Stu wil nominate Mo, Rex or Darnell. and vice-versa. What we need for the rest of the housemates to get off the fence and use some tactical nominations and nominate Jen the cow and her thick as mince lapdogs out. Keep Rex and Darnell in.

SHAMED Big Brother spitter Dennis McHugh was in hiding last night after C4 bosses BANISHED him and BANNED him from any further involvement with the show.

The man branded the most hateful housemate ever after he spat in Mohamed's face was forced to keep his mouth shut about the incident as Channel 4 refused him the chance to defend himself in any interview.
As Dennis fled back to Scotland, show makers Endemol became embroiled in fresh controversy when it emerged BB staff knew the gay dance teacher BEFORE he went on the show.
It has been claimed his close connections with creative directors Phil Edgar-Jones and Sharon Powers accounted for the 12-hour delay between the spitting incident and his removal from the house.
On Friday the powerful pair met privately with the unrepentant 23-year-old, whose removal is believed to have been ordered by Channel 4, rather than Endemol.
A Big Brother source revealed: "Dennis knows Phil and Sharon through his previous involvement on their shows. He was even a guinea pig for them in the BB house three years ago. Phil is from Scotland as well so there was some obvious sympathy there. Channel 4 is completely disgusted with his behaviour, but Phil and Sharon still insisted on going to see him on Friday."
Channel 4 yesterday confirmed Dennis was well known to senior BB staff.
"Dennis has auditioned for previous series of Big Brother and as such, will have come into contact with members of production," said a spokeswoman. She added: "All housemates speak with senior production staff upon leaving the Big Brother house."
Police yesterday quizzed Dennis under caution about the spitting incident. No action was taken, but they could press charges after speaking to Mohamed.
A Hertfordshire police spokeswoman said: "Officers will speak with the potential complainant as and when he leaves the house."
Channel 4 have totally disowned Dennis, even forcing him to leave London.
They have insisted he gives no interviews on his Big Brother experience and have vowed he will have no further association with the show, ruling out appearances on Big Brother's Little Brother or the reunion show at the end of the series.
A Channel 4 source said: "We don't want anything to do with him.He needs to be forgotten as soon as possible. It's not good for the show's reputation.
"We can't stop him coming out of the woodwork to do an interview in a few weeks, but it will be nothing to do with us.
"In our opinion he's the worst and most hateful housemate we've had and he'll be treated in that way." Even notorious show bullies Alexandra de Gale and Jade Goody were given the opportunity to speak to presenter Davina McCall after leaving.
But a show source said that, other than in the diary room on the afternoon of his axing, Dennis has expressed no remorse.
The insider said: "He watched the show last night and realised how appalling he looked, but did not say sorry again and doesn't want to.
"He wasn't crying, he wasn't upset, he just kept on acting like the vicious little queen that he is." Dennis spat in Mohamed's face in the early hours of Friday during a row which erupted after housemates were plied with cider. He claims he made a spitting action but nothing came out of his mouth.

Some interesting thoughts here... I just caught the whole uncensored fight on You Tube.. pretty shocking!

In my view, Jen masterminded the whole situation by her incessant whining - she wanted sparks to fly and tempers were at boiling point anyway so the whole pathetic painting incident was used as an excuse for people to level hate at others. Jen lost her so called "best friend" out of it (her own fault) although how anyone can befriend a person who hates for no reason and spits in another's face is beyond me.

Darnell is a hero - he has integrity and morals, perhaps Mario too. Mo I think is quite immature - he's been bullied in there I think but he should've stayed out of it last night and deserves some of the blame for exacerbating the situation - he's hated in there and created the perfect excuse for that to be vocalised yesterday - I think he was provoking people into physical violence too to get 'em thrown out.

Not sure Rex cares either way about much.

Anyway, this is my first post, hi everyone!

Who's up for eviction next - anyone done the maths?

I think it's pretty much the pretty, stupid people vs the non-pretty, inteligent ones so far, as is often the case in life.. the public are seeing through it.

:searchme:

I'm not surprised they're making an example out of Dennis obviously because he did spit on Tv, but even for that, six months is heavy. Unless it's blown out of proportion, he can't go to prison for it as far as I see it. He might get a bit heavier treatment because Mohamed is Muslim, if it's decided that religion caused Dennis to act as severely as he did against him, but I don't think it did.

It's abuse against another person so obviously it's a big deal and it can't be tolerated in the Big Brother house, but there've been plenty of incidents of it on the streets and everything, and no one's exactly bothered if it happens in a school or anything. Completely agree Bry.

I think there may be three or four housemates up for eviction this week depending if they have drawn a line under Thursday and moved on or not. There needs to be some tactical nomination but I doubt the majority of the HM are able to think like that. In one camp we have Rex,Mo, Darnell, Kat and Rachel if they use there votes wisely they will nominate Bex,Jen,Dale,Stu and brown-noser Luke and vice-versa Jen and Dale wil vote for Rex and gang. The tactical and key nominations have to come from Mario, Lisa and Mickey. We know Mario and Lisa have nominated Rex before so there is no love lost but if those three can think logically and vote not who they want out of the house but who should go. Then I think we could see Jen bawling her eyes out for another week.
I'll go for Bex, Mo and either Dale or Stu up this week.

FIGHT night villains Jennifer Clark and Rex Newmark face the BBoot as housemates turn on the hated pair.
And it's bitchy Jen in the firing line following her OTT reaction to Rex smudging her painting.
The 21-year-old's hysterical crying led to a fight between Mo and Dennis, which resulted in Dennis getting thrown out of the house.
Viewers were left shocked by the violent events and think mum Jen deliberately stirred things up.

There is an online poll in the sun where you can vote who you want to go out. At the moment Jen is ahead with 92% with Rex on 8%. Come on GET JEN OUT!!!!!

After watching tonight's show again I feel that BB is lighting another blue torch and standing back to watch the fireworks. I don't know if Mo did use the last of Bex's tobbacco but she had no right to rip his belt like that what a childish little cow!!! Why didn't BB haul her into the diary room and give her a warning and make her apologise to Mo. when Rex touched Jen's picture everyone apart from Mickey and Luke had a go at Rex, were was the support for Mo when Bex destroyed his belt. Darnell was the only on who went and confronted her. Totaly shocking she is just causing trouble and someone else is going to suffer because of her behaviour. BB has to act now.

As for the nominations not a surprise but not the vote I was hoping for
some housemates wasted their votes. Darnell wasted his vote by nominating Mario,Mario and Mickey wasted both their votes, and Luke should never have been allowed to vote full-stop. If Mickey and Mario had nominated Jen and Bex then Rex wouldn't have been up at all.

Dale - Rex and Mohamed

Darnell - Jennifer and Mario

Jennifer - Rachel and Kathreya

Kathreya - Jennifer and Rebecca

Lisa - Jennifer and Rebecca

Luke - Darnell and Rex

Mario - Rex and Mohamed

Michael - Darnell and Rex

Mohamed - Rebecca and Jennifer

Rachel - Jennifer and Rebecca

Rebecca - Rex and Rachel

Rex - Rebecca and Jennifer

Stuart - Rex and Rachel

PS I've voted Jen 3 times already so come on SB buddies get voting and get the torn-face back-stabbing cow out of the house.

GLUM mum-of-one Jen has threatened to walk out on Big Brother after the latest nominations were revealed.

The grumpy Geordie wept as housemates were told she’ll be facing off against Rex in this week’s eviction vote.

She said: “I just wanna go now.

“I don't wanna be sat her for four more days.”

But posh chef Rex, 24, took the news more happily.

He cheered as his name was read out, and said: “I can walk out with dignity.

“I’ve done it – that’s enough for me.”

Jen, 22, is now a whopping 100/1 with bookies to win the show.

If she goes before Friday then she is a coward for not facing the public she knows she is going to get booed. This weeks eviction will change everything watch Bex and crew crawling to be friends with Rex and co when Jen get's the boot because they will know that they're days are numbered.

I can't remember when Danielle Lloyd was in BB, hence I hope my post here is ok.

Danielle Lloyd has said that she will play a pole dancer in a forthcoming British movie.

The Celebrity Big Brother contestant claimed the gangster movie was almost ready to start shooting and revealed that she had begun pole-dancing lessons.

"I can't say too much but it's a gangster film and hopefully I'll be playing a dancer," she told the Daily Star.

"I'm reading the script at the moment and it starts shooting soon so it looks like I've definitely got the part. I'm going to work really hard and spend ages learning my lines so I'll be word-perfect."

She continued: "I'm throwing myself into work. Acting is what I want to get into. I'm concentrating on my career and making it my main priority.

"I'm going to take lessons at the London Film Academy, where I've done presenting before."

Lloyd also claimed that she had been approached about a role in an ITV drama in which she would play a "prim and proper" character.

Well, playing a pole dancer in a gangster film will make her an A list actress in no time. :rotfl:

Nice analysis Chloe,

Jen is sure to go if the crowds' reaction last week was anything to go by... "GET JEN OUT" etc... she is sooooo irritating and I don't think attractive at all... Rachel is prettier in my view.

I reckon it'll be a whitewash against Jen... Hopefully, Bex'll be next in line - her behaviour is getting more and more childish, surprised she got off so lightly at ripping Mo's belt - imagine if that'd happened to Jen - there would've been floods of tears and Dale and Stew would've got their willies out!

BTW Is it me or does Dale remind you of a 9 year old boy - he's always looking down, sniffing and struggling to articulate the most basic thoughts.

"GLUM mum-of-one Jen has threatened to walk out on Big Brother after the latest nominations were revealed"

Typical! She's gotta face the music - I can't see BB letting her out early unless she spits at someone...

Her reaction also makes a mockery of her fake platonic friendship with Dale - she's rather go now and never see him again!

Be interesting to see if Jen mentions her child for once in connection with this!

Jen said one true things a few days ago. That there is one rule for some and one for another. Unfortunatly BB favours her band of back-stabbing brown-nosing Sh*t stirring toads. Explain to me when other housemates discussed nominations they were left in the jail over night around 18 hours but Bex only done a few hours, and tonight on the live feed she had broken a mirror by kicking it but got away with it again. WHY?????

We need a double eviction next week but BB cant tell the HM until after nominations as they will change their tactics and vote Rex, Mo and Kat (Remember how John Tickles was robbed back in BB4) If we have a double eviction we can boot both Bex and Luke out or drippy Dale.

We bring you some very exciting new housemate style news...
It's no good.
Big Brother tried and tried and tried.
But Big Brother can't keep it a secret any longer...

Big Brother has confessed that three, that's three, new housemates will be joining the others on Friday night. Yes, three female housemates will be entering shortly after the eviction and are bound to stir things up a bit in the House. As a hint Big Brother can reveal they consist of an executive personal assistant, a theatre director and a model from a well known advert.

That's enough for now. Big Brother needs a lie down.
Ahh...
Join Davina at 21:00 and a special extended show at 22:35 on Channel 4. Make sure you don't miss it.

Mario has gone way done in my book, although he wasn't my favourite HM and him and Lisa made me cringe with there custard creams and bathing together, I could tolerate him because he was making such a t*t of himself you had to laugh. But after his comment about Rex and Mo during the zoo task when he said to Bex and Jen he would have preffered those two to be seals instead of Bex and Jen. I just thought what an a*se. Anyway the drama queen has gone how long are we giving drippy dale and slimey stu before there brains are ethnically cleasned of any trace of Jen and they start drooling over Sara and Mayhood.

The third person to feel the boot from the Big Brother House is Jennifer, with a whopping 89.7 per cent of the public vote...
The House babe was one-half of the soap opera that was Jennadale, and an integral cog in the complex love-quad that was Dale, Jennifer, Sylvia and Stuart. She came, she painted and she got booted out.
Will Dale find love in the arms of a new housemate now Jennifer is out of the picture? Will Jennadale ever be recommissioned? Will her portrait of Stuart be discovered in years to come and hailed as a new art movement? Maybe not, but we'll miss her anyway.
Bye Jennifer - Monet would be proud.

Big Brother was pulled off the air on Sunday after a threat to bomb the house was made.

Frantic bosses at Channel 4 immediately evacuated the housemates as local police officers, supported by the bomb squad, carried out an extensive search of the compound.

The overnight live streaming went into blackout for two hours and viewers were kept in the dark about what was happening.

BB's Mikey and Rachel win art task as evicted Jen says she's not interested in Dale OR Stuart

It is believed a man contacted the studio in Hertfordshire and claimed he had planted a bomb. Police later conceded it was a hoax.

A police spokesman said: 'Officers attended the scene and a thorough search was carried out by security teams.

'They chose to evacuate the premises while this took place. However the call was a hoax.

'The housemates were later returned to the house and began speculating what the evacuation was in aid of.

And Mario told them: 'It was serious. They need to be careful which is why we were evacuated. This is big stuff.'

The last time there was a major bomb scare was during series four in 2003 when workers found a suspect package in a TV studio near Elstree Studios.

The paper bag task was brilliant! The best since the electric shock game I think... the look on Mario's face - he seemed really disappointed at Lisa's failure to punch her way out of a paper bag...

Those two were a bit underhand I thought the way they befriended Belinda and then talked about her behind her back saying she was weird... Mario is such a hyprocrite the way he attacked Belinda for coming out and saying that she thought Darnell would win - he said Mickey would win too! Mario + Lisa - not to be trusted?

I'm very certain Mario will go on Friday - he's very controlling and boring and recently, underhand and hypocritical.. the voting demographic I'm guessing are young and see Mario as an authority figure - hence, gameover! Bex is irritating and childish but at least fun to watch.

Having said that - I do like the Mario and Mikey show - those two are in love!

Love the way Rex TOLD sara yesterday "you're very loud aren't you!" and "I wish there was a volume control" - she is a bit strange.

Liking Maysoon... she seems pretty genuine.

She seems to flirt with everyone... I think it's her way of getting people to like her. I'm not sure Rex or Darnell would remotely be in her league in the outside world (she does look a bit like Angeline after all) hence some suspicion creeping in!

Felt sorry for Lisa yesterday, I quite like her actually - something quite endearing about her, she's got a face that says "look what i've had to put up with married to this idiot for x number of years!"...

Mario is a horrible and vile bloke. He is trying to degrade Lisa to nothingness and I think it's awful. Mario is just trying to get Lisa to leave with him I think, by making out if he leaves, that the game is over for both of them. He couldn't be more wrong! Lisa can shine without him and I think she would! I just hope he doesn't manage to persaude her to walk if he leaves, which I fear he may be successful at doing. :(

It's clear that he can't face that Lisa could be more popular than him and I don't think he could handle Lisa being out of his possession.

I agree Davey. He is vulgar and a poor excuse for a man!
I really thought and hoped Lisa would be stronger to not allow Mario to sway her opinions like that. He's jsut so degrading and jsut horrible!
Get him out.
I think Lisa would be a completely different person without Mario, and I think she's lovely anyways.

Totally agree with Davey.

Mario is like allot of men, and as one myself, I can say that! He makes out that he's the strong one and Lisa would collapse without him when the reverse is the case! I think she's got an inner strength and would have his guts for garters anytime... Mario is really showing his weakness at the mo, but mind you, everyone's weaknesses are exposed in that house, there's no escape. At least Belinda (another strong woman) admitted hers yesterday - more than Mario would ever do.

Nice how Lisa still said Mario was a wonderful guy... guess you have to take her word for it to some extent. He certainly sticks up for Mikey allot but you wonder how much of that comes out of mindless paternalism and being used to controlling and managing the weak.

His post office remarks yesterday were CLASSIC!! "You can do allot with elastic bands... you can use them if the back comes off the remote control, but they can be dangerous on the floor.... health and safety."

Something quite tragic about that soliliquay.. moments like that make BB unmissable!

The first couple of weeks I wanted Mario to stay in because he was such a sleeze but you had to laugh at him. Now he is nothing but a bully and arrogant b*****d. They way he behaved last week when they were doing the zoo test and he was throwing water over Jen and Bex's he said he wished it was Rex and Mo. Then the way he has spoken to Lisa the past couple of days he is such a t*t get him out. Bex is getting on my nerves as well but I can live with her for another week then fingures crossed BB will spring a surprise double eviction and get out bex and sh*t stirring Luke as soon he will be called Norman no mates as he won't have any one left in the house to talk to.

The house will be a lot different if Mario goes because Luke won't have anyone to hide behind and him and Bex will start being all sooky sooky nicey nicey to the B Block gang. I think Lisa will be a different person once she looses that twit. she can start to enjoy herself.

Hmmm, as much as I don't like Mario and co. I think I'm most unsure about Sara. There's something about her and I just cannot warm to her. She does go ott about everything and this whole "Rexxyyy" thing is just annoying me.

Tbh, I think BB has run it's course. Or they need to liven it up more. Now when a new housemate enters they all now think it's a task because that's what BB does.. and when they hear shouting outside they think there's a secret house. All their theories are getting boring.

Pass me the sick bucket please  It's all a pure publicity stunt as Darnell stated last night. It's all air time for Bex and her and her luxury bedroom mates are the only ones who are playing. The luxury bedroom claim the B Block are destroying them and that is why is only been HM from their bedroom evicted. If they had a brain cell to share they would know that not all nominations are coming from B Block but from their so-called mates. As long as those in the luxury room continue to nominate those who they don't like instead of the main competitors then they are going to on the loosing side everyweek. Regardless of who goes tonight the other one will be back up for nomiation next week.

Songwriter Darnell Swallow has been voted head of the Big Brother House.
Darnell appointed head of the house

The former gang member romped to victory in the secret ballot with nine votes. Albino Darnell, 26, is now immune from eviction.

As housemates sat in the Task Room, the new Head of House was handed his first duty. Big Brother announced: "Darnell, on the red cushion is an envelope containing instructions.

"As Head of House, you must instruct one housemate to take the envelope, open it, and read the instructions aloud to the group."

London chef Rex Newmark, 24, opened the envelope, saying: "Oh my God... Head of House: with great power comes great responsibility. The Big Brother House has been divided into Heaven and Hell.

"Head of House, your first duty is to choose six housemates to live in heaven with you. The rest of the housemates will go to hell."

Darnell was told only the so-called "heavenly housemates" will have access to the luxury bedroom and bathroom.

The "housemates from hell" will have to prepare all meals and drinks for their counterparts, who will not have access to the kitchen.

Darnell promptly chose Rex, 21-year-old student Dale Howard, 24-year-old toy demonstrator Mohamed Mohamed, 30-year-old massage therapist Kathreya Kasisopa, 24-year-old trainee teacher Rachel Rice and 28-year-old model Maysoon Shaladi.

is anyone else a bit wary about this idea? it reminds me of when Jade Goody's family went into the house and the others had to wait on them!

Yipee Darnell's head of the house :cheer: Can't wait until Luke and Bex find out he is immune from being nominated as I think Darnell would have had a few HM nominating him this week. I hope they don't have to vote like that every week BB should give them a task and who wins then they become Head of House. Leave Luke and Bex in Hell. He is so not happy not to have won, not as popular as he thinks. COME ON DARNELL !!!

an interesting few weeks in the house, not really feeling the 3 new ones, very dull except for Belinda Belinda Belinda, who's calmed down herself recently.

Disapoinetd that Mario went, yes he was annoying but his one liners were comic gold. he was such a joke, he really did remind me of David Brent. Bex on the other hand is just annoying, she's got no self control or self respect, she's seriously doing my head in.

This new twist is going to be amazing, i can see it now. Forget all this other house with new housemates twist, the divide was always the best twist big brother thought of, BB3 was brilliant for it. Glad they're doing it again.

But oh my god Darnell as head of house!? No way the guy iritates me so much, and to hear rumours of him being the favourite to win!? I hope not! Rex and Mohammed are both getting on my nerves so much! OMG Rex sticking his tounge out to Micky, just becuase he knew Micky wouldn't be able to see - SICK - evict him!

Luke and Rebecca need to go aswell, they're just nasty people and playing up to the camera's with their charade 'Rebecca No!" Purlease!

Some good comments Bry. Have to agree with you about the new housemates - Belinda is the only interesting one out of the three, I haven't seen Maysoon do anything remotely interesting since she's arrived and Sara is just really annoying with her flirting and fawning over the men.

The twist is really good in there - still liking Luke and Bex. Rex seems to have changed a little bit, but I still like him. Mohammed is boring! Rachel is shaping up to be brilliant and I really want her to win :cheer: She is such a nice girl and I loved it when she gave Rex her opinion saying "I don't think your being very nice today" :)

Lisa is shaping up to be great. She's really shot up in my estimations. Her comments are hilarious. I thought the ghost story she told last night was really funny but my personal favourite is "the universe obviously called on Mario to go, he is needed elsewhere" :D .. she is great! She is just like Mario, but I find she is a bit lighter than Mario. I thought Mario was funny at one point, but then he got a bit aggressive with it, so I'm glad he went.

The divide is a genius thing to do as well. :D Will be interesting to see how the dynamics change..

Good bye on Friday Belinda, Belinda, Belinda and take those skancks Bex and Luke with you. She's got bored getting her baps out she's on food fights now trying to win air time. So original. Okay Rexxie baby was a sh*t for making faces at Mickey but he has to stay just to pi$$ off everyone. Darnell is still the man he rocks. We need to get rid of the boring Mo,Stu and Dale as they have done nothing since they entered the house give us a triple eviction BB.

Housemates need to start voting tactically it's getting to the half-way stage and there is still dead wood in the house, they should be gone by now. Great HM Rex,Darnell, Kat, Mickey, Rachel and maybe Lisa if she wasn't brainwashed by Mario. Bad HM Bex, Luke and Belinda. Fence-sitter. Mo, Maysoon, Dale, Stu and Sara. Get rid of the fence-sitters first they do nothing, they provide no entertainment at all and they are more than happy to blend in with the decor and hide under the rader hoping that they can survive to the final week. No Chance. Although I will say in Mo's defence I don't think he has ever recovered from Dennis spitting in his face. Then we boot out the two back-stabbing stirrers. This will bring us to the housemates that can provide entertainment and we can see so-called friends turning against each other to win the £100k.

Last night’s highlights show attracted an audience of 3.1m (18%).

On Channel 4, 3.1m (18%) tuned in at 10pm. A further 90,000 watched on C4+1.

The rating was very similar to previous Wednesday night shows. For four weeks in a row, the Wednesday night shows have gained an 18% share. The figure was also same as last week.

Despite speculation of a possible BBUK axing in the near future, last night’s show was Channel 4’s top show of the day. The second best show on Channel 4 last night was Location, Location, Location with 2.8m.

Big Brother was also the second most watched show yesterday for viewers aged between 16-34. Big Brother had 1.1m viewers in this key demographic. Only Coronation Street edged past Big Brother with 1.2m viewers aged between 16-34. With figures like this, Big Brother won’t be getting axed any time soon!

The current series overnight average is: 3.3m (17%).

This is only 300,000 viewers and 1 share point down on BB8. Big Brother has held up well in comparison to Britain’s other top programmes. ITV’s number one show Coronation Street has dropped 410,000 viewers, whilst Emmerdale has done worse with a decline of 500,000 viewers. It shows that Big Brother’s decline has been favourable compared to most other top shows.

just goes to show that all shows are being affected in ratings due to the multi-channel generation we live in.

Inside Big Brother is the website that gives ratings roundups every day for the previous nights show, it has all the ratings for this series and works out averages, so if anyone's interested keep checking there!

I've just checked Betfair and Belinda is overwhelming fave to be evicted 2nite with odds of a little over 1 to 1!! Whereas Rex is getting odds of 38 to 1.. that seems pretty damned good to me for a 2 horse race unless there's something I'm missing...

Belinda has been evicted from the House with 65% of the public vote...

She's only been around for a couple of weeks, but what an impact she made - well, what an impact her snoring made. Certainly on Rebecca, who was driven to screaming at her to stop in the middle of the night. Belinda was a lot more tuneful during the day, but Dale and Stuart weren't fans of her doo-bee-doo-wap style either: there's just no pleasing some people.

She suffered a week in hell and a pain "worse than childbirth" - yes, the infamous agony of riding a bike. But now she's gone, who's going to jazz the House up? Bye, bye, bye, Belinda, Belinda, Belinda.

Next week let's hope it's bye bye dead wood Dale. Stu or Bex. We can live in hope.

i'm growing tired of the tedious teenage girl vote affecting the quality of the show

if you're an attractive female you're out
if you're a "fit" male you stay in

bloody iritating me now, becuase Rex is repulsive, a vile human being and needs to get the hell out of there

i'm sick of all these housemates that always say "i want to leave", the first moment they utter them words Big Brother should kick them out and replace them.

DaVeyWaVey
18-07-2008, 22:10
Ideally, I'd like Dale or Mo to leave next week... none of them offer anything remotely interesting in my opinion.

I was expecting the percentage to be higher than 65% but then Belinda wasn't as hated as Jen who was up against Rex and had a higher percentage.

Chloe O'brien
18-07-2008, 22:20
Why thank you Bryan for the compliment about being a tedious teenage girl  I'm deeply touched. No I agree with you about HM complaining they want to leave,if they say it then BB should tell them to pack their bags whoever they are. As for saying Rex is vile. He's not he's just winding them up and they are taking the bait and that is what BB is all about. BB is a game with a £100,000 prize money the object is to eliminate all other competitors in the game to gain the prize. Some play by being nice some eccentric and others by playing down right dirty. That is what Rex is doing and the rest of them are just feeding him more ammuniton. Rex is one of the main contenders to be there for the final week most of the housemates are thick as mince and are wasting their votes. At this stage they should be have realised who is popular on the outside and the main competition but know they constantly put a weak housemate up against a strong one when they know there is no competition. Rex and Darnell know this and if the hellish housemates are geting the boot week after week then tough cookie.

My opinions on the remaining housemates

Mohammed - GET HIM OUT! PLEASE! Hate him with a passion, he is the most infuriating housemate ever! So iritating, i'd throttle him if I was in there. He thinks he's all that becuase someone as 'cool' as Rex is friends with him, but in reality Rex wouldn't even nod at him in the street. Mohammed is a greedy gannet, and smug when he has no reason to be. He is just a dirty gluten, that seriously winds me up!

Maysoon + Sara - dull as dishwater- get them out, they have contributed NOTHING to the house

Bex is just a brainless moron, and Luke is her little lap dog. He moans and he bitches like a woman. This double act is tedious, get them both out!

Rex is smug, arrogant, and I don't care if it's an act, it's annoying, I don't want to watch iritating idiots like him - get him out.

Darnell - He was complelty the wrong choice for head of house, all he did was reward his friends, ratehr than housemates that warranted to be in heaven. He messed up the cooking. He messed up on assignning heaven housemates tasks (Kat obviously cant eat loads of a baguette, and plonkas Dale and Mo clealry wont appreciate Wine). And the way he treated Sara - disgusting. He thinks everyone loves him, but he's just a joke. Big headed and at times very volatile.

Micky - Moaning, all he goes on about is his chocolate, and he'll bitch about anyone, no sense of loyalty. Get him out, I dont care if he's blind, nominate and evict him!

Rachel - Didn't like her at first, but I'm warming to her a lot.

Lisa - Have a lot of respect for her, she's keeping the house calm, keep her in for a while yet.

Kat, Dale, Stu - Like these 3 a lot, along with Rachel + Lisa, hope them five are in the final!

My opinion on this years wannabees:

Mo: Fat, Lazy plank of wood latching onto Rex as he knows Rex will get the votes. Thick as mince to realise that sometime soon Rex is going to stick the knife in to save his own skin. I will say one thing in Mo's defence I don't think he has recovered from the spitting incident and he has lost his confidence. He needs to go.

Maysoon & Sara: Sara is a fun girl she just needs to get away from the NED Bex, she's bad for her image. Maysoon is boring trying to hide under the radar and not create any waves. Get her out!!

Bex: What a disgrace for a nursery nurse I bet that parents who send there children to the nursery she works in are appalled at her behaviour. I wouldn't trust her with my pet cat never mind a child. She behaves just like a child always moaning I want to do this and I want to join in. Show her the door she is stealing air time.

Luke: Ena Sharples needs to go home and grow a back bone we are bored with his messenger comments get stuffed and go home to mummy.

Darnell: Playing a blinder this is what its all about. Its not about making new friends is about winning and taking out the competition by hook or by crook. Who cares if no-one in the house likes you it's the public that matter and the public love him.

Rexxie Babes: Arrogant, Smug, Annoying and he knows it but none of the housemates are smart enough to tell him to shut the fook up when he's boasting so carry on darling.

Mickey: Could have been a lot more entertaining if he had joined the B Blockers but there is still time for him to join the dark side.

Lisa: Not sure about her I had high hopes for her when sleezeball Mario got the boot, but I think she has turned into a fence sitter happy to hide under the radar and ship in the camp that's popular.

Rachel: A bit boring but a nice girl again I blame the fact that the other females apart from Kat have turned against her from day 1 and she really hasn't been given a chance. Like to see her survive to the final to stick two-fingures up at Lisa, Bex & Co. This is why I work with a bunch of guys. Females are just vile.

Kat: We love the cookie monster she is real and genuine you go girl.

Dale & Stu: Tweedle Dum & Tweedle Dee are as exciting as watching paint dry. They should have been out weeks ago and if the other housemates had one braincell between them they would have got rid of the dead wood weeks ago. They've had their 15 minutes of fame now get rid of them.

My final 5 Rex, Darnell, Kat, Rachel and Mickey.

1st place Darnell

2nd place Kat

3rd place Rex.

My opinions on the remaining housemates -

Mohammed: Pointless housemate. Offers nothing to the house, offers nothing that is entertaining.... why is he even there? Does he think that the public will be entertained by seeing his mouth move from all the eating that he does??

Maysoon: errmm who is she again? If she left tomorrow, I wouldn't notice that she had gone from the house... I don't know how she got past the Big Brother audition process as she is boring so far.

Sara: Highly annoying. I can't really take to her and her overexaggerated reactions "Oh my god! That's so amazing!" .. afraid to say she's not a "So amazing" housemate in my view..

Bex: I think she's great! I like her friendship with Luke - it seems genuine and it's clear the house has brought them together as on the outside world, I can't really see her striking a relationship with Luke. Needs to be careful with her rants though, as she could be accused of being a "Chanelle II"...but it's great to see someone so annoyed by the pressures of the house. :D

Luke: Simply, Norris Cole on speed. His constant bitching is start to get overbearing now, his friendship with Bex is a saving grace for me though.

Darnell: Wasn't the best Head of House in the world, but atleast he had a crack at it! I had to laugh that he had spent £17 over on the shopping budget - how is that possible? :D He does speak wise words, but his temper can get the better of him - he needs to stay steady..

Rex: Love his arrogance and his sarcasm and the way it annoys other housemates. :D I swear he knows that it pees everyone else off.. Think he's a great housemate, definetly one of my favourites, he doesn't care how he's percieved - he just wants to do what he wants for the hell of it!

Mikey: Can't stand this man. He doesn't offer anything to the house and only serves as "the token blind" housemate as Big Brother want to show that they are open minded and that they are aware of disabilities this year.. he doesn't do anything else apart from moan... he should try being Head of House before slating Darnell for having a go at being in charge!

Lisa: I think she is wonderful. :D I swear she is as deluded as Mario, but she's nicer and less aggressive with it. She says things so seriously, but they come across as a complete joke on the TV screen - you can't help but laugh at her. Perfect examples: "the universe called on Mario to go" and the UFO story she told when she went camping as well as "the little green man" that she saw.

Rachel: An underrated housemate in my opinion. Her heart is in the right place, she stands up for what she feels is right, but doesn't involve herself in any bitching. She speaks sense, she looks out for others and she has been genuine all the way through. Rachel to win for me! :)

Kat: Overrated housemate for me. Her "coookieee!" performance could only last for so long and now that has got tiring, she has nothing else to replace it with. The facade she displayed on launch night is slowly slipping - a nice enough woman though.

Dale: The 'token hunk' of the series. He's good to look at I suppose, but if you want to get as far as watching him lead an interesting conversation, then I think the viewer is out of luck...

Stuart: He is starting to grow on me. Didn't like his behaviour during "Spitgate". I felt sympathy towards him in the diary room when he confessed how much he missed his daughter but then you have to ask yourself - why leave your young child to show yourself off on a reality show in the first place?"

Dale is head of house

He's chosen Bex, Luke, Maysoon, Rex and Stu.

Mickey, Sara and Lisa are given a second week in hell, with Darnell, Mo, Rachel and Kat.

Can't believe Dale the plank won the task. Maysoon should have held on that way they could have left Bex in hell. She does not deserve to be in heaven she did bugger all last week apart from moan. I would have chosen mickey and Lisa over her. Mo's up for eviction this week I think he may go. Either him Stu or bex this week to get the boot since Dale the plank has immunity.

Thought it was a bit harsh leaving Rex and May in heaven for a 2nd week... why do that? Especially rex - all he's done is sat around, criticising others in that lazy drawl of his. I'm sure he's not that popular with the public - I mean; look who he's been up against; Jen (hated) and Belinda (crazy newbie) - doesn't make him liked or powerful. And what's all this about him being a hotty??! Was that a joke?!

Chloe O'brien
22-07-2008, 13:08
Chloe thinks Rex is a HOTTIE. Dale the plank is the joke, when did he become Rex's new best mate the brown-nosing little sh*t for weeks he was in the diary room telling BB how much he hated Rex and nominating now because Rex has survived 2 evictions he's changed his tune to stay in the house as he has no personality of his own. The sooner HM start using their votes and get rid of the dead wood the better. Mo will be up for eviction this week as HM involved in the spitgate have been looking for a chance to put MO out. Darnell will be up as well but he's too entertaining. I would like to see Stu and Bex's up as well. With one of those two going on Friday but I think Mo's numbers up.

DaVeyWaVey
22-07-2008, 17:48
The Sun newspaper and BB online both have on their websites that Mo, Darnell and Rebecca are up for eviction this week. If that's right, I think Mo should go - I find him boring and he doesn't add anything to the house - I find Darnell and Rebecca more interesting to watch.

I am breathing a sigh of relief that Lisa isn't up though. :D I think she's great and I feel sorry for her that she's stuck in Hell for another week. I want to see her become Head of House next week as I'm sure that will pee off a lot of the other housemates!

And sorry djtv, it wasn't a joke from me - I find Rex hot. :D

Chloe O'brien

Well the Sun was right with their predictions. Its a pity that Lisa, Mikey and Rex wasted their votes as we could have had little sh*t-stirring Luke and Plank of wood Stu to make it 5. Never mind we can but hope that Luke and Stu along with Drippy Dale will be up next week. I hope Rebecca goes on Friday as she is just a spoilt attention seeking brat and I'm tired of her food fights and t*t showing. However I think it may be Mo who's going to be meeting Davina. I feel for Mo I don't think he is boring on purpose I just think that he has lost any confidence in playing the game since Dennis spat in his face.

 No way Rex and Darnell have to stay. I'm not bothered about Mo but I would rather Bex's went this week just to wipe that stupid grin of slimeball Luke's face. I would rather watch Rex and Darnell costic and evil remarks than loose the will to live by watching dull as dish water Dale and spineless Stu. Everyone may think that Bex and Luke are cute together and appear to be good friends but sooner or later they will start sticking the knife in each other. Oh yes it will come!!! Rex and Darnell are doing it now. That's the name of the game.

Saying Luke and Bex are working together against the others, well has Darnell seen himself recently, hes the one working with Mo as a team against the rest of them!!!!! I mean wasnt it Darnell who was Talking to Mo the other say in the bathroom, and had a sly conversation saying oooo What a concidence that himsel and Mo both dont like Bex and Luke etc and then those two both ended up nominating those two

It makes me laugh how for the past however many weeks Dale,Bex and co. have slagged Rex off... then kept him in heaven.. I wonder why. Maybe because he's survived 2 nominations...Grr

Omg they should jsut cancel flipping nomination and chuck Mikey out!!
I can't stand him.
I know he's blind and that and I don't agree with the way Mo spoke to him in the task room over the clocks but still, Mikey is not a nice person.
He made Kat feel liek utter rubbish! I think that was so clear for anyone to see. He was told first of all that Darnell made up for the time Kat went over but then he brought it up again and asked Stu if they had taken time off to make up for it!
I really don't liek him. Get him out next please :)

another night of kissing - cheap trick to stay in Rebecca? I think so!

God Man I'm going to have nightmares for a year if I have to suffer Bex and Luke sooking the face of each other for votes. Thery're bigger game players than Darnell. At least Darnell is honest with his coments and makes no attempt to hide his feelings. Though he needs to try and keep his mouth shut and save his ranting for the diary room. Bex has to go this week again her and Luke having a pop at Rachel because she's not an attention seeking temper tantrum throwing 4 year old.

The competition is now at the half way stage and as I have said in previous posts there is too much dead wood still in the house and those who have been strong and entertaining need to start working together other wise the fence-sitters are going to survive to the final week without doing fook all. Do we really want Stu in the final week instead of Lisa or Kat NO!!!

If the public vote with their brains instead of their hearts they will boot out Bex. This will weaken Luke as Bex's is his only mate in the house. Whoever gets head of house, hopefully Lisa or Rachel needs to choose tactically about which HM to take to heaven. Lisa, Mickey and Sara have to go first to the Heaven side as they have had two weeks in hell. That leaves 3 spaces for Kat, Rachel and Darnell or Rex but since he has been in heaven for two weeks then he should do a turn in hell. This will leave the Mo, Like, Stu, Dale and Maysoon in hell. All deadwood together. Lisa, Mickey, Darnell and Rex need to start working together instead of against each other as it will benefit them. If they use their votes right and start nominating the Stu, Dale and Maysoon then they have a better chance of staying in the houe longer.

Isn't that the whole point of Big Brother? To play the game?.. I appreciate that he's in there to be competitive and to try and play the game and get to the end - Luke going on about Darnell only being there for the "cheque at the end of it" - so what? Big Brother is a game - Luke can't deny that he wouldn't like to win, otherwise why else is he in there?

Still, I want Mo out this week. I'm glad Lisa survived this week - I want to see her or Rachel become Head of House next week - I agree with what Kath said, get some of the deadwood out - e.g. Dale, Stuart and Maysoon.

its about the experience as much as the winning, and yes i suppose they all have game plans but they dont make it so obvious as darnell, hes forever talking about it, and forgets to enjoy his time in the house becuase he's too bogged down in trying to outsmart the rest. plus he is a ruthelss *******, his gameplan is just brutal, and i doubt anyone else in the house cares that much about the overall prize money

I was Rebecca!! WTF?!

Darnell is committing a text book error in making his desire to win, and disappointment in being nominated, so obvious! He has no chance now - you have to sneak in under the radar to win not make your designs known to all, he's too honest in that respect.

I suspect Mo will go tonight - I think he's just had enough really, he seems quite immature and has endured allot of stick for it in the house...

I honestly can't think of anyone I'd like to win but Mikey now! I put a bet down a while ago - was something like 16-1. He's got unbelievable patience to put up with all the rubbish in the house despite his disability - I think he's got a very strong character, if some of the other housemates lost their sight, they'd probably go to pieces! Mikey was spot on to Rex the other night "IF YOU'VE HAD ENOUGH, JUST LEAVE AND STOP MOANING!!!"

Im sooooo annoyed that Bex went, I liked her!!! Im probably one of the few people that liked her and I agree Mo is a slug!!!!
Her interview was the best, I liked her even more :)
I loved where we saw the conversation between Bex and Luke, and bless luke. Aww I just think they are so sweet  SO what if you never thought those two would make a couple! It shouldnt be based on looks or anything like that! Its the fact that we all saw the banter between them and the fact they spent soooo much time together to end up caring about each other

So who is left:
Mo: He eats everything, boring and I want him out
Darnell: He turns too quickly and can be very agressive, GET him out!!
Rex: Argh! DOnt even get me started on him, GET him out!
Maysoon: = zzzzzzz
Kat: I just dont find her interetsing anymore, and she is annoying
Mikey: think he can be horrible too he should be out
Sara: shes okay she hasnt done a lot though
Stu: Again hes okay, but theres something about him that Im not too sure on
Lisa: Shes okay, can be strange as she seems to have done every single kind of job!
Rachel: i like her, shes nice, but she doesnt do much
Dale: I love him, I think hes great, I hope he gets to the final
Luke: Awww I love him too, Luke to win!!!! :D

I am catching the repeat now - I am also gutted that Bex is out. I thought she was great and she kept me entertained, I also liked her friendship with Luke - it was so genuine. However, I think Bex being out could cause a lot of friction in the house now and it could be very interesting to watch. Dale would be peed off that Mo has stayed, Luke will be lost without Bex and Dale, Stuart, Luke, Rex etc will be complaining about the lack of entertainment in the house - I think conflicts could start to build to a climax and I will find it fascinating to watch, so I think Bex being evicted has a bad side to it, as well as a good side.

Chloe O'brien
26-07-2008, 22:49
65% of the public vote says it all. As much as entertaing as Bex was, in the first couple of weeks she made me laugh, but there is only so many times getting your baps out or throwing food around will be funny.

The reason Bex went out was simple it all goes back to the spitting incident every housemate since that night who took Dennis's side over mohammad has been evicted with the exemption of Belinda, Slyvia, Jen, Mario and now Bex all said that they understood why Dennis spat in Mo's face because he was defending a friend and they have all been booted out. I agree that Mo is boring and I thought his time was up and I think he thought so too with him spending so much time on his own this week. He would be better going as Mo needs help to deal with what happened that night, but he has they sympathy vote from the public.

Dale, Stu and Luke can sit and say oh the house is so quiet without Bex all they want but the harsh truth is they are pooing their pants because at the back of their minds they know why all their mates have been booted yet they have suddenly become best mates with Rex, the same Rex they called a w***er a few weeks ago, and today Stu became the new head of house and who did he take to heaven with him? Dale, Rex and Mo Why? Because they know they have to start pretending to be mates with Rex and Mo if they are to stay.

I know I'm in the minorty over Rex and Darnell but they deserve to stay in the house more than Stu and Dale. Rex, Darnell, Kat and Rachel need to get Mo, Lisa and Mickey on side as those two are dark horses that's 14 votes they need to use them against Dale,Stu, Luke, Maysoon and Sara over the next few weeks to get rid of the deadwood.

DaVeyWaVey
26-07-2008, 23:14
Have to agree with you Kath - Stu and Dale both need to go soon. Luke can stay as he does have his good moments in my opinion.

I think Maysoon and Sara should stay a while longer - I thought Maysoon was good tonight in handling the situation with Stu and Dale. Dale branding Maysoon "boring" - oh the irony! Has he looked at what he adds to the house? Absolutely nothing! Him and Stu are complaining that now Bex is gone, the atmosphere is flat! Weren't all the housemates picked for a reason to provide entertainment? It's about time Dale and Stu pulled their fingers out and put the effort in to provide some entertainment as they are both being boring themselves, especially if they keep moaning about the lack of atmosphere in the house!

Chloe O'brien
26-07-2008, 23:19
I know Dave and did you hear Stu about saying how boring May and Sara were and that Belinda was the best out of the three. Hello!!! 27 July
OMG! A Nominations Pod!

Today, a nominations pod will be revealed to the housemates. The nominations pod will be situated in the heaven side of the garden. As head of house, Stuart will be asked to read a laminate to the group that will reveal that only the heavenly housemates may use the nominations pod.

To enter the nominations pod, heavenly housemates must ring the buzzer and wait for Big Brother to unlock it. Heavenly housemates must only enter the pod TWO at a time.

When they are in the pod, they may ONLY discuss nominations. If they don't discuss nominations in the pod they may be punished.
When they want to leave the pod, they must stand up and verbally declare that they want to leave the pod.

Housemates who are NOT in the pod are forbidden from discussing nominations at all times. Nominations will take place as usual on Monday.
Big Brother will announce later today when the nominations pod will be open and when it will be closed. Big Brother will give the heavenly housemates one hour warning before this happens.

Can't wait for this!
So who do you think will dive in first?

I reckon the nominations pod is gonna put the cat amongst the pigeons, who's going to form alliances with who? Well, there's only the Angels allowed in. So who'll pair up for a natter out of Rex, Mo, Stu and Mikey. At first I thought it may be Mo and Rex then Mikey and Stu, but Rex has said in the Diary room that he's drifted from Mo, so could it end up three against one. Not to mention that you have to invite the people you don't like into the pod, otherwise they know you're gonna vote for them and PLUS you wanna know what they're thinking too...

It's all a real head wrecker isn't it?

Dale, Maysoon and Sara will be up for nomination this week I think. There is no way that Rex, Mo or Darnell will be put up despite those three being unpopular in the house they have survived evictions and this has un-nerved Dale, Luke and Stu. They have no-chance of getting rid of Rachel or Kat either as they have done nothing to pi** of the public. Lisa, Mickey and Mo are the dark horses of the show and Rex and co need to get them on side to vote against Dale and Luke. The only way HM will get rid of the old B Blockers is to put Rex up against Darnell or Kat but HM are too stupid to think about that as they should have done it weeks ago. This is how I think nominations will go.

Dale: Maysoon, Rachel

Darnell: Dale, Luke

Kat: Dale, Lisa

Lisa: Dale, Kat

Luke: Maysoon, Kat

Maysoon: Dale, Luke

Mickey: Maysoon, Kat

Mo: Dale, Maysoon

Rex: Luke, Maysoon

Sara: Dale, Rachel

Stu: Maysoon, Rachel

Rachel is getting a hard time from other housemates though :( just because she isn't acting like her VT - let's face it, Dale's audition tape was a whole lot worse!

Chloe O'brien
27-07-2008, 23:56
For me Rachel has been a bit boring in the house but she is just a nice girl, maybe too nice for the house, who does her bitching in the Diary room, which is were is supposed to be not be nasty about someone and reduce them to tears like some housemates. Dale, Luke can slag her and Kat of as much as they want but they both would not survive an eviction against them. That is why Dale and Stu have discussed a number of times putting the whole house up for eviction. WH? because it's their only chance of survival, Stu on survived nomination this week as he won head of house. Dale pretends he wants to be nominated so he can be in the gang besides Rex, Darnell and Mo but he's not got a chance in hell of surviving this week unless he is put up against Maysoon or Sara. If he goes up against Kat or Rachel he'd better start packing on Tuesday because he will be meeting Davina on Friday and she can hold another biased interview against Kat.

This just proves how much a fence-sitter Dale has been all these week. This was taken from Sun newspaper. He knows his days in the house are numbered that is why he has tried to be Rex's new best mate the last couple of weeks. Now he is joining the Cookie Monster fan club.

WHAT a difference a day makes! Before Bex was evicted, Dale and Luke were as thick as thieves - but now Dale can hardly stand to look at the house geek.
The hunk spent the morning in bed, being forced to listen to Luke's constant bitching about Kat.
Rex later commented to Dale that he was very quiet this morning, and the truth came out.
Dale said: "I've just realised what people are like in here. I can't stand the sly comments. If you've got something to say, just say it."
Refusing to lower himself to Luke's level, he wouldn't go any further, or even name the person annoying him, but his actions spoke louder than words.
As Luke tried to spark up a conversation in the kitchen, Dale walked off, without even looking at Luke.
Sensing something is up, a moody Luke retreated to the Diary Room to moan some more, as everyone else enjoyed the sunshine.

I didn't like Rex's behaviour towards Rachel tonight at all - I think Rachel is what she is like in her VT. Her VT was exaggerated with how lively she was in it, but who doesn't exaggerate their VTs? ... if she was going to be totally herself, then she probably wouldn't have got in the house!

Rex totally exaggerated what he seen of Rachel. The VT isn't another Rachel - in her VT, there are parts of Rachel's personality that we see in the house as well. I felt so sorry for her tonight - it's clear that Rex was just taunting her, trying to get a reaction out of her. And I was very dissapointed with the lack of support Rachel got from fellow HMs.

What I don't get is why the housemates are ganging up on Rachel...why not Dale? He completely lied in his VT - did we see him "nail Jen's fanny" ? Nope not at all...but his vile words to get in the house and his lies within his VT seem to have been totally overlooked.

Rex was a total ass hole tonight trying to be the big man in picking on Rachel like he did. The reason Rachel has been different from her VT audition is that she has only had Kat and Mickey as her mates everyone else in the house has been saying she has been a fake from day one. How on earth is she supposed to be happy and hyper when most of the HM wouldn't give her the time of day, but those who have slagged her off have shot theirselves in the foot again just like they did with MO and have handed Rachel a ticket to the final, because the public are seeing this poor lass in tears and being bullied for nothing so they are going to vote to keep her in the house. As for Dale no-one is giving tuppence about him or Luke apart from Luke, Dale and Stu. Their days are numbered especially if they are planning to put Luke or Dale up against Darnell or Kat on Friday. If when the nominations are announced tomorrow and that is what happens Luke or Dale should just pack their case because there is no way they are going to survive against Darnell or Kat. The only hope Luke and Dale have of surviving this week is to go up against Maysoon or Sara. No-one will challenge what Rex says despite HM thinking he's a d**k because he has survived two evictions so they want to join the Rex fanclub.

another one from the msn blog...

Strict BB strips Stuart of title

Head of House Stuart has been forced to give up his leader's rosette as punishment for discussing nominations.

The housemates were gathered on the sofas this afternoon when an announcement was made, saying many of them had gone against the rules and talked about nominations.

"Big Brother is quite aware that when housemates are referring to 'Arsenal' they are referring to Darnell, when they refer to 'Wigan' they are discussing Luke, and so on," BB added.

"One housemate who has been involved in several of these conversations is the Head of House, Stuart. As a result he is stripped of his status, effective immediately."

Stuart was then ordered to come to the Diary Room with his Head of House rosette.

He returned to the living room shortly after in an angry mood and said: "I said I have predicted numbers, I have never once mentioned a name."

"Why have I been punished?" he moaned. "I've been made a scapegoat."

Hell housemate Luke appeared amused by the news, and began lobbying for Mikey to take over as leader, exclaiming: "Mikey for Head of House!"

Mikey took the compliment modestly: "It's one of those things by default, the leader that nobody wants."

Stuart appeared to be taking the punishment badly, leaving the rest of the group to be alone in the bathroom.

and wonder if and how he will be replaced...

I cant believe they have put up Stuart, Rex, Mo, Kat, Rachel, Maysoon and Darnell are up for eviction so it know wont just be between Dale and Luke who were nominated.

I'm surprised Maysoon has walked! Oh well, no big loss...

I think Lisa is hilarious. Love how she said Number 3 was a "common looker" when that is in fact Rex's girlfriend. and last night, I laughed how she said all the men were all over her in the first few days, when she had to pretend she wasn't with Mario - she even got Dennis in a sweat. :D ...my personal favourite is her claim that her friend created DNA though :rotfl: What is so great about Lisa is that you don't know if she is just joking with the housemates for her own personal entertainment, or if she actually believes in her deluded comments!

Oh god I have been at my sister's today as we were having a girly night (tell you all about it on HWYD) Anyway I am the only one who loves Darnell, Kat and Rex. But hey I don't care  It's no big loss that Maysoon has walked as she would have been favourite to go on Friday. Now we can get rid of the real deadwood Dale, Stu or Luke. I'm going to stick my neck on the line with the final 6 to be Darnell, Kat, Rex, Lisa, Mickey and Rachel. Kat and Darnell will be the final two.

Darnell to WIN :cheer: :cheer:

I hope Luke stays tonight, he's really entertaining. I wouldn't mind if Mohammed went, he's pretty boring and goes off on one all the time.

my guess is either double eviction, or new housemate to replace Maysoon.

I agree. I might not like him much as a person, but as a housemate, he's really great and entertaining and has provided some good talking points for this series. I really don't like Mohammed - he does NOTHING and for that reason he should leave, as he isn't entertaining the public like he should be doing!

Lisa on top form tonight with her latest deluded comment "Rachel clearly fancied Mario" :rotfl:

Rex's girlfriend going in should be interesting - she will have big shoes to fill now Luke has been evicted - I hope she is entertaining and is a character and she hasn't just been put in just because she is Rex's girlfriend!

Yahooo Mesenger boy is out, he should have went week one. Stuart, Lisa and Rex not happy about his girlfriend going in. Wonder how long their relationship will last now. She shouldn't get the chance to win BB it's not fair on the others.

Did she even audition for BB?
If she didn't then it's really unfair that she'es even in the house!
She's only in there for Rex anyways. She's not going to do anythign is she? Boringggggg

But, I wonder if we will see a kinder Rex??

not to slag off the poor girl, but she's really not as pretty as Rex made her out to be! after he went on and on and on about the candidate they chose as his girlfriend in the line up not being good enough i was expecting someone at bit more glamorous or something.

Bryan
02-08-2008, 18:42
it was obvious that Luke was going to be going, but why the hell are people keeping Mohammed in? He is a lazy greedy gluten!

Please get Nicole out, dirty little sket who thinks she's something. I've had enough of Big Brother twisting things (i know thats the idea of the show) but some of the things in the past week such as showing VTs and the nominations pod aren't really fair, as they're giving housemates ammunition to use against others. if they're going to do that, at least let everyone be given a level playing field.

Kirsty :]
02-08-2008, 19:19
They never showed Nicoles VT did they? So I'm taking it that she never even auditioned, and if that's the case... then BB are very unfair!

Abi
02-08-2008, 21:16
They shouldn't have sent Nicole in - Sending in Girl Number 6 would have been much more entertaining.

Get her out like now please BB :)

She will go soon she can't stand it at the moment, as BB has kept her suitcase because she crossed the divied to hug Rex and she's moaning at that. If she doesn't walk within a week she will be up for nomination next week.

I've given up on it now. I didn't get back into it after I missed a week because I was away, and my friend told me who's been evicted. I wanted Luke to win and now there's Darnell, Rex, Mo etc left in, who I can't stand.

Bryan
05-08-2008, 10:17
As if Darnell said that to Sara - disgusting!

God how sickening is it to see Rex all loved up and besotted with Nicole? He's lost all the character that he built up over the last few weeks!

As I have said for weeks the bunch we have this year are "Thick as Mince" They had their best chance this week of getting rid of Darnell or Kat as they were banned from nominations and what do they do nominate the deadwood dou.
