BBC bosses have set up the sexiest Strictly Come Dancing ever — by signing a troupe of showbiz stunners.
TV Biz can reveal former Mis-teeq singer Alesha Dixon and GMTV’s Kate Garraway will strut their stuff this year.
They join Penny Lancaster, Letitia Dean, Stephanie Beacham and Gabby Logan for the fifth Strictly Come Dancing series, which starts in the first week of October.
Also competing is beauty Kelly Brook who has been paired with lucky dancer Brendan Cole.
An insider said: “This year’s show promises to be the sauciest yet. Producers have gone all out for glamour.”
We can also reveal the series will star ex-footballer John Barnes alongside Blue Peter’s Gethin Jones, Gabby’s hubby Kenny Logan and Dominic Littlewood of The One Show.
Judge Arlene Phillips said Paul Gascoigne, who is seeking help for his booze problem in a US clinic, had dropped out with an “injured leg”.
What a great line up, I've heard of most of them, some of them should make for great entertainment, bring on the next series :D

Before the show starts my money's on John Barnes or Kenny Logan to win. Sportsmen allways do well. And they certainly have glamour with Kelly and Penny.
Oooohh Gethin Jones, I'll deffinatly be tuning in :D
Line up looks good. When does it start?
Does look like a good line up. John Barnes should be interesting.
Is Stephanie Beachem, the one from bad girls.

The full lineup for this year's series of Strictly Come Dancing has been announced.
As previously reported (http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/strictlycomedancing/a75327/jones-brook-dixon-sign-for-strictly.html), Smallville actress Kelly Brook, Blue Peter presenter Gethin Jones and former Misteeq singer Alesha Dixon will all be taking part.
Sports presenter Gabby Logan will be competing against her husband, former professional rugby player Kenny Logan. It has also been announced today that ex-EastEnder Letitia Dean, TV presenter Kate Garraway, Rod Stewart's wife Penny Lancaster, and actress Stephanie Beacham will be joining the girls.
For the boys the BBC has also lined up ex-footballer John Barnes, EastEnders actor Matt Di'Angelo, TV presenter Dominic Littlewood, snooker legend Willie Thorne and actor Brian Capron.
Host Bruce Forsyth commented: "It's hard to believe this is the fifth series and the show goes from strength to strength. So many people I meet can't wait for it to return ... I can't help but get excited myself!"
While co-presenter Tess Daly remarked: "With such a dynamic cast, this year's Strictly Come Dancing is going to be explosive. We've got the babes, 'The Barnes', 'The Beacham' and even a husband and wife pitted against each other. Roll on October, it's going to be one heck of a show!"
The first show will see the boys competing against each other to the waltz or the cha-cha-cha, while the girls will face the public vote in the second episode.
All four judges - Len Goodman, Craig Revel Horwood, Arlene Phillips and Bruno Tonioli - will return to the voting table, and presenter Claudia Winkleman will be bringing back her Strictly Come Dancing - It Takes Two gossip show daily on BBC2.

I cant say Ive ever watched a full episode, let alone series on Strictly Dancing, but the line up this time looks a rather interesting and have to say mixed bag!!!
I mean, Willie Thorne?! I hope they have a paramedic on standby, he seemed out of breath just walking into the press conference thingy.
Then you have got that gobby little fella who use to be a used car salesman, Dom, and a former corrie serial killer, oh and bloomin' Deanoooooooooooooooo the EE. I think I may just end up watching.

Lila and Erin may have Willie and Dom as there partners but look what they have done with Matt Dawson and Peter Schmichael last year. I wouldn't be writing them off just yet.
I love Dom!! Dom to Win i say

omg what a line up,,, thank god,, there is no more Cricketer players this year,, 2 yrs in running was enuff.
Dom isn't he adorable,, actually he is such fun to watch,, now Matt, hmmmm he looks good actually..
Dunno about the other guys,,,
Leitita Dean oh for heavens sake she will only pose with the left side of her face,, gee whiz..She does look rather top heavy like Miss Piggy:D
I wonder if Anton is going to be without a partner,, apparently his partner is INJURED.. tendons do not heal that quickly..
Who had the gall to saddle Beachham with gorgeous Vincente ??
I loved the group dance it was so sexy..
Well bring on next week,, I can not wait to see Penny perform..
Does any one think that Ola acts like a deer in headlights ??? I wonder if she is scared of her husband and how she behaves with her dance partner ??

What a fab line-up Bruno was right Penny is going to sweep the floor with the other girls she just struts her stuff on the dance floor. As for the men Willie Thorne (Snooker Player) was a big surprise hope he goes far in the competition along with Kenny Logan who gets my vote. I know he had a bad start but you've got to have a two-left feeted hopless rugby player in it.

she really is so ridiculous, i can only imagine how cringe-worthy her rhumba is going to be :thumbsdow
loved Dominic Littlewood, i think he'll go far because of his enthusiasm and willingness just to throw himself into it, the cha cha was the perfect start for him.
is it just me or does Gabby Logan seem incredibily desperate?

Penny, Aleesha or Gaby to win they were amazing
I think one of the girls will win they seem to be better than the boys. That Blue Peter guy whatever his name his he is very hot

I think I will reserve my judgement with the GIRLS,, cos we have not actually seen them dance with their partners yet ( individually) We have only seen them perform in a group,,I am not looking forward seeing MISS PIGGY dance, I am sure I will be hiding in the other room until her performance is over hee hee......
Actually I think Dominic will probably go far.. cos he has the right attitude..and so cheeky..and throws himself into it,, that is what I admire about him..As for the other guys.. its any ones game really :hmm:
Bring on Saturday......I am looking forward to it big time :D

did anyone else see Gabby Logan's face when she realised she was 4th? oh how i laughed! i just dont like this woman, she seems really hard and determined to make it such a competition and no fun at all. and her husband Kenny really doesn't look comfortable being there.
in other news, i LOVED alesha's rhumba, it was so intense. and i must say Letitia didn't embarass herself like i thought see would, good for her! and poor Anton, he's such a good guy though and him and Kate seem like they could have been a good team.
Chloe O'brien
13-10-2007, 22:12
Poor Kate she really did struggle with all the training she has missed out on. I wished they would give Anton a better partner he's never had much luck allways goes out early in the competition. Both Penny and Kelly did brilliantly tonight as I thought they would. Gabby is being a right pain it's supposed to be fun anyone else would have been delighted to get the score she did for their first week. Poor Kenny I hope he does improve for next week and stays in the competition longer than his moaning wife.

14-10-2007, 00:34
Ok lets be honest here gang Letitia SUCKED,, she was heavy footed and looked like she was just posing,,
What about Stephanie ?? I thought she was just plodding along even tho she is 3 yrs older than me,, I guess her bod does not shake and shimmy like she was able to back in the 80's...( if any one remembers she used to beat the poop outta Joan Collins in DYNASTY and she did not use a stunt double )I felt sooooooo bad for Kate and Anton,,, really really bad,,, I knew they were gonna score them low due to her injury,,Lets see how things go tomorrow night,,
Penny, Kelly,Ahlesha all did a great job,,, but did u notice they had problems with their dresses getting caugh on their heels??????
Ok the boys group dance ??? What did y'all think ???
Chloe O'brien
14-10-2007, 00:40
The boys group dance was terrible compared to the girls last week, but at least they were having fun and that's what it's all about. Willie Thorne bless him just wiggled his hips anyway.

the boys group dance was hilarious, i got the impression that they might have simplified the choreography because it didn't look like there was much going on. just as an aside, Camalia looked gorgeous!
stephanie was impressive considering her age and how energetic a quickstep is, and my word that dress was good. and she seemed like she as having such a good time too, her comments were great!

Stephanie gone :-( Well she really had no idea what she was getting into did she???? LOL She was very funny and verrrrrry outspoken..and yessssss verrrrrry CLASSY
I still do not think Letitia is that great of a dancer,, my guess she will be in the bottom 2 next week with Kate ( which meant obviously she had a big fan base voting for her and Anton )
I thought Dom was having way too much fun in the boys dance LOL
My American buddies who have BBC/AMERICA say they love Dom and Matt Di'Angelo..they like Penny and Kelly .
Hmmmmm next week the show starts earlier ???
Chloe O'brien
14-10-2007, 21:31
A really big shock that kate and Anton survived, I don't think even Kate believed it. Hopefully she will improve a lot before next week and prove that she deserves to stay longer in the competition. How annoying is Gabby did you see her remarks about last nights scores when her and James said that they were placed in the middle, being excatly were they didn't want to be, anyone else would have been bloody delighted to get the score she did, I hope Kenny beats her.
JustJodi

I hope the fan base that Gabby seems to think she has will just filter in on Kenny instead... I personally do not like James .. I think he is a controlling git !!! No wonder Ola is terrified of getting tooo CLOSE to any of her partners.:searchme:
Logan consoled by mum after 'Strictly'
Gabby Logan was consoled by her mum after she failed to finish top in the first round of Strictly Come Dancing.
The TV presenter was reportedly distraught by the judges' comments about her performance and her fourth place position in the opening round.
According to The Sun, Logan was in a "strop" after the programme finished and was taken into the dressing rooms by her mum.
A source commented: "Gabby was sure she’d be first and couldn’t believe it when she got 29 out of 40. She was in a real strop."
During the programme, Judge Arlene Philips said of Logan's performance: "The rumba should be like dancing on hot coals but it was a bit coals to Newcastle via Leeds."

I'm with you on every point Laura,
Poor Penny, it just wasn't her dance and she did try very hard. I just hate the way Brandon choreographs dances, so brutal, he's the opposite of Darren and Lilia or Ian who just make the most beautiful creations in dance.
Don't like Gabby either, the only thing I do like is the fact that she knackers horrible James !!
Kate didn't deserve those harsh words, Anton so had to bite his lip and it seemed he didn't even want to try and get the audience's vote, he's just sick of being slammed.
Chloe O'brien
21-10-2007, 21:28
Sad to see that Willie and Erin were voted out tonight, but a bigger shock was that John Barnes was in the dance off, how the mighty have fallen to be top scorer last week to come second last. Once again Kate and Anton survived the dance off. The judges can comment on how bad Kate's dancing is all they want but at the end of the day they are getting the votes. I do hope her injury gets better and she wipes the grin right of that bitch Arlene's face.

I missed this evenings show,, I guess they booted out poor Willie,, I went back to YOU TUBE and to SCD's web site and watched all the dances.. I felt bad for Penny,, the Jive just was not created for some one who has incredibly LONG legs,, Ian can be excused cos hes been dancing since he was 8 yrs old or something,,
Actually fair play to every one,,, I still can not stand GABBY..... I wanna go slap her upside the head and tell her to lighten up,, crying and whining over a rather high score is childish and shows poor sportsmanship..
I am so glad that the viewers voted to keep kate in yeaaaaaa for Kate and BOOOOOO to Arlene.. she is another person who needs to be slapped upside the head with a 2x4 piece of lumber !!!

Craig was a lot kinder with his comments this week, when he was commenting on Kate's performance he said that all she lacked was confidence, which was very noble of him at least he didn't ridicule the dancers like Arlene did. Last year she was drooling over Mark every week this year its Gethin.

I hope Alesha wins, she is just fab... or Penny I like her too.
I'm gutted Karen didn't stay in longer, but at least she gets to do the Pro dances yay!!!
Am I the only one that likes Kelly and Brendan?! lol
For a change, Brendan is actually dancing and choreographing excellent routines, rather than trying to antagonise the judges all of the time - and he has a partner that appears to be able to a) stand up for herself and b) dance fairly well too.
Ever since he won with Natasha he's had the back pick of the bunch.

dont worry, i like Kelly and Brendan too! and i agree with what you said about his choreography too, i think its better because he knows Kelly can do what he gives her- whereas in the past he's felt he's had to hide his dancer's shortcomings by being flashy. god does anyone else remember Fiona Phillips? she didn't even try!
I finally watched last weeks and wow some of the them are sooooooo good, I agree about Kate though, I dont think she is really bad I just think if she wa more confident she would be fine

oh the controversial 10, we will never hear to end of this...it was a very good American Smooth though, and that first lift was so tiny and barely off the ground i wouldn't have counted it as a lift, but hey i dont set the rules. and i reckon the producers reckoned it was time Brendan did something bad-boy-ish anyway.
i love samba week though, the sheer hilarity of Kenny and Kate's were great. Gethen has come on, he and Camila are really cute together too. well done for Dom doing that lift! :cheer: and huzzah for Matt, i reckon he'll be the last boy left in the competition. oh yeah, and really liked Ian's interpretaton of the samba, how is a lanky pale english bloke so good at the Samba? lol.

gabby was in the dangerous middle position, plus no one likes her. and i assume people thought penny was safe. it was all very dramatic though! i much as i haven't liked gabby, she didn't deserve to go this week, and i would have liked to have seen her do a paso actually.

It was a shock to see Penny and Gabby in the dance of as they both are good dancers. However its not just about how good a dancer you are, its about how much fun the celebrity brings to the show and what progress they make each week. Gabby lost votes because she showed how very competitive she was from the first week. unlike her husband Kenny who has addmittied that he has two left feet and no rhythm but he is having a ball. He went out there and gave it his all.
Whatever the judges and viewers may think that it's a dancing competition are wrong it's also a popularity competition last year the judges were biased against Peter Schmicheal and Matt Dawson if they made a mistake they were given 4 or 5 points but if Emma Bunton or Louisa Lytton made an error they were still awarded 7 or 8 points.
The judges and some viewers maybe hacked off that Kate and Kenny and still in the competion but they have people voting for them, they are putting in the same hours of training as Kelly, Aliesha and Matt and deserve to be in the competition like everyone else.
Most importantly of all next week we get to see Kenny in a kilt and there is nothing more sexy than a scotsman in a kilt :cheer:

I heard it too.
I think Gabby was voted of because people like to see people who where not able to dance and are doing well. You can identify yourself with them.
I love Matt he has such a lack of self confidence but he gives his best and delivers it kudos to him.
i thought it was fab that gabyy got booted and even better that kenny is in it and she isnt!!

Strictly Come Dancing judge Len Goodman has said he is "furious" with the BBC - and the viewing public - after the shock departure of Gabby Logan and her partner James Jordan from the competition.
Logan and Jordan were joined by Penny Lancaster Stewart and her dance partner Ian Waite in the bottom two on Sunday night's pre-recorded results show despite placing in the middle of the judges' leaderboard.
Speaking on BBC Two's Strictly Come Dancing: It Takes Two programme on Monday night by phone from Los Angeles - where he sits as a judge on the US version of Strictly - he hit out at the viewers who voted to save lower-rated contestants instead of supporting those with more dance talent.
"I'd like to say how sorry how sad I am that Gabby and James have had to come out of this competition," he told show host Claudia Winkleman. "The real villains of this are the viewers. I was against the judges voting somebody out at the end. I liked the other method... especially now."
He said that he didn't have a "clear conscience" about the decision - the first time he had wrestled over such a choice in over 40 years of being a dance judge.
"I really didn't want to be put into that position," he said of having to choose between two competent dancers in the bottom two. "I think it was a disgrace and I think the public... well, words fail me.
"I think it's unfair that I was put into that position by the BBC. I don't think it's fair that it should all come down to that vote. I understand the concept that if you've got a really good one... that we can vote out the bad one but that isn't happening."
He added: "Kenny [Logan, husband of Gabby] should have been in the bottom two and Kate [Garraway, GMTV presenter] should have been in the bottom two."
Kelly Brook and her dance partner Brendan Cole should have been disqualified from Strictly Come Dancing because of an unauthorised third lift in their Saturday night routine, one of the competition's judges has said.
Cole choreographed a third lift into the pair's high-scoring routine despite the rules of the competition permitting only two, earning the pair penalties from three of the Strictly judging panel's four judges.
Only one judge, Bruno Tonioli, gave the routine a full ten marks - the other three uniformly awarded eight points each.
One of the three, Craig Revel Horwood, spoke out on Monday night about the incident.
"I think Bruno was completely in the wrong and should never have given a ten for that," he said on It Takes Two. "In fact, they should have been disqualified... I think if you go and break rules like that, knowing that you're breaking rules, you should be disqualified.
"I was so sad that I gave them an eight. I should have just said 'I'm not scoring that, because you're disqualified'. It's just appalling."
He added that the performance would have been worth a ten had it not been for Cole's decision to break the rules.

He added that the performance would have been worth a ten had it not been for Cole's decision to break the rules.
well he should have given them a 9 then  and you can't go calling to disqualify people for doing illegal lifts when people have been doing them every single year and all there was by way of repremand was losing points, at the judges discretion.

I agree. It was one extra lift. Points knocked off would have sufficed, they shouldn't need to be disqualified for it.
If they were doing dangerous or illegal moves then they should be disqualified but not for an extra lift.

Goodman "furious" with BBC, viewers
By James Welsh, International Editor
Gabby Logan: Out of 'Strictly'
Strictly Come Dancing judge Len Goodman has said he is "furious" with the BBC - and the viewing public - after the shock departure of Gabby Logan and her partner James Jordan from the competition.
Logan and Jordan were joined by Penny Lancaster Stewart and her dance partner Ian Waite in the bottom two on Sunday night's pre-recorded results show despite placing in the middle of the judges' leaderboard.

Makin' Whoopee
(Walter Donaldson, Gus Kahn)
Transcribed from Eddie Cantor, with Nat Shilkret's Orchestra, from Whoopee, recorded1928
From The Broadway Musical, 1918 - 1929, vol. 1, Chansons Actualites, CIN 025.
Everytime I hear that march from Lohengrin,
I am always on the outside looking in,
Maybe that is why I see the funny side
When I see a fallen brother take a bride!
Weddings make a lot of people sad,
But if you're not the groom, it's not so bad.
Another bride, another June,
Another sunny honeymoon,
Another season, another reason,
For making whoopee.
A lot of shoes, a lot of rice,
The groom is nervous, he answers twice,
It's really killing that he's so willing
To make whoopee.
Picture a little love-nest,
Down where the roses cling;
Picture the same sweet love-nest,
Think what a year can bring!
He's washing dishes and baby clothes,
He's so ambitious, he even sews,
But don't forget, folks,
That's what you get, folks,
For making whoopee!
Another year, or maybe less,
What's this I hear? Well, can't you guess?
She feels neglected,
And he's suspected,
Of making whoopee.
She sits alone most every night,
He doesn't phone, or even write,
He says he's busy,
But she says, "Is he?
He's making whoopee!"
He doesn't make much money,
Five thousand dollars per,
Some judge who thinks he's funny
Says, "You pay six to her."
He says, "Now, Judge, suppose I fail?"
The judge says, "Bud, right into jail.
You'd better keep her,
You'll find it's cheaper
Than making whoopee."

Len Goodman, Arlene and the rest of them can be fumming all the want, but facts are facts and from the public point of view Kenny and Kate are more popular than Gabby, and Penny. I watched GMTV on Tuesday morning and Quentin Wilson who was on SCD a couple of years ago and recieved the lowest score to date. He made an interesting point when the dancers have finished both Bruce and Tess ask the public to vote for their favourite celebrity not who they think was the best dancer, which is what the public have been doing. I hope that Kenny and Kate improve a lot before Saturday as the crap they have taken over the last few days since Gabby was voted off has been awful.

Ok Gabby may have been a better dancer than her hubby and Kate,, but SHE WAS NOT the viewers FAVORITE CELEBRITY,, get over it folks,, Bruce and Tess told the Nation to vote for their FAVORITE CELEBRITIES,, that is what the Nation did,,nuff said :ninja:
Lorraine Kelly has defended Kate Garraway's performances on Strictly Come Dancing.
Kelly has claimed that the GMTV host need not be ashamed of staying in the competition longer than better dancers.
She told the Daily Record: "It's an entertainment show. The public like a plucky trier.
"They are voting for her because they like Kate, she's getting better and she's the underdog. Surely the enjoyment of watching these shows is seeing someone getting better."
The TV presenter added: "Kate's amazed she's still in and pleased she's still in. Good on her, I say.
"If we didn't have people like that it would just be a show of picking great dancers and what would be the fun of that?"
Awww I like Kate, last week she was bad but the week before was okay, she just needs confidence, plus she has lots of fun
Contestants on the current series of Strictly Come Dancing are the most competitive in the history of the show, according to a report.
Matt Di Angelo recently insisted that there was no rivalry between the show's stars, but an insider on the set has dismissed this as "nonsense".
A source told the Daily Mail: "Every single celebrity on the show is trying to outdo not only this year's celebrities but the ones from previous years.
"All this 'we're all great friends' chat is nonsense. What they are great at is politely clapping when the cameras are switched on, but they're all completely delighted the moment anyone turns in a bad performance."
The newspaper claims that much of the tension surrounds Kelly Brook, who has captured the attention of the press throughout the show's run.
An insider explained: "Everyone is upset over the amount of attention Kelly is getting. There is a general sense that the odds have been stacked in her favour - she's great looking and she seems to have been given the sexiest costumes and the best PR.
"The other day, one of the female contestants was heard sighing: 'Oh look, Kelly's in another magazine. Again.' Others have taken to joking about calling the show Kelly Come Dancing."
I think they are really competitive this year and I think its to do with the popularity of the show, plus they are really good too soon

After watching tonights show the more I'm convinced that the judges are more to blame for Gabby's early exit and are begining to show favouritsm towards certain dance partners like they did last year. In tonights show Kelly and Brendan were given bad comments from the judges yet they scored 28/40. Next up was John and nicole again not great comments but they scored 24/40. Then we had Letisha and Darren who got great comments but only scored 31/40. Yet Craig gave both Kelly and Letisha the same score a 7 and Len and Bruno both gave Kelly and John a 7. If a dance gets negative comments they should be given a low score. You can't say that one couple's performace was poor and the other brilliant then give then the same score.
I thought both Kenny and Kate did really well tonight and have improved a lot since last week and I hope they stay longer in the competition just to pi$$ off the judges.
Matt Di Angelo has told friends that he is smitten with his Strictly Come Dancing co-star Alesha Dixon.
Rumours that the pair are an item first hit the press last month, after they were spotted dancing together at the Movida club in London.
A source told The People: "Matt and Alesha's relationship is an open secret among the stars of the show. They seem really happy together - and the relationship seems to have spurred them on to perform brilliantly.
"Matt's told a few people. But I don't think either of them really wants the romance to become the talking point of the series."
A Strictly spokesman said: "They get on well."
Brendan Cole has criticised Gabby Logan for the way she reacted to being voted off Strictly Come Dancing.
The shock result led to controversy this week, with judges Len Goodman and Craig Revel Horwood expressing their anger at the viewers' voting habits.
Meanwhile, Logan said that she was eliminated because other contestants already have large fan bases, while she lacked "populist support".
Now professional dancer Cole, who is partnered with Kelly Brook, has insisted that Logan should not have been shocked to be voted off the show.
"At the end of the day, we all know that it is a combination of a dancing competition and a popularity contest. I don't understand why someone would go on the show if they weren't happy with that," Brendan told the Daily Star Sunday.
"A couple has to go each week and if it was mine and Kelly's turn next week I would be gutted but I would simply have to accept it. Gabby obviously wasn't doing something right because she failed to connect with the audience."

boo hiss, Dom danced better than John this week AND last week and the judges still got rid :( poor Lalia
Personally I think Dom deserved to go - after the way he behaved last night after the scores - it certainly didn't do him any favours. Then tonight, did anyone else notice Lilia having to tell him to get his hands off her butt gawd knows how many times - I did.
Gabby Logan isn't that old - she's only 3 years older than me and daughter to Terry Yorath. Am I too old to be watching the show in that case Vicky?? :D
I think it was very sweet how Kenny spoke to the producers and asked if he could go and Gabby come back though - bless him - a true man.
I don't like Penny and Ian, I don't like Alesha (as good a dancer as she is), although Matt (Cutler) is a bit of alright.
And I love Kelly & Brendan - about time he was paired up with someone that could actually dance!
I'm pleased Dom went, he was never that brilliant.
I love Kelly and Brendan, they're fab together. And i love Penny too. Mainly because she's tall, and if your short, you dont tend to realise how much harder it is to move when your limbs are so much longer. You lose much more control at the end of your arms, and with your feet. And its harder to be elegant. But you wouldnt notice it with her, really. She's doing a great job, considering how much harder it is for her. Go on Penny- Do it for the tall girls!!
And i knew who Gabby Logan was. She's on practically every sports programme on BBC! I dont see what the fuss is with her anyway- She was good, but not that good. She was bound to go at some point. Whether it is now or 5 weeks down the line doesn't matter. She wasnt a winner.

I agree he just does not have the "correct" look for Latin, hes the KING OF THE FOX TROT.. thats what i think
Yeah I know, I just find it cringey when he does latin, but he is amazing at ballroom
Anton is definitely the ballroom king, he just doesn't really suit the brightly coloured spandex for the latin
In all seriousness though, Anton is a great personality and does deserve to have a good partner for a change - fantastic dancer and fantastic man too from what we see on screen.
I think I can honestly say at the mo though, I don't know a) who I really want to win, not one person in particular that is, and b) who has a good chance of winning - its an open book at the mo I think

Matt Di Angelo has been telling all his mates that he's smitten with his Strictly Come Dancing co-star Alesha Dixon.
They met whilst doing the show and were spied last month dancing rather saucily at Movida nightlcub. Rumours started circulating, as they do, and no one knew what was happening.
But finally a friend of Matt's has broken their silence (they always do) and has said, 'Matt and Alesha's relationship is an open secret among the stars of the show. They seem really happy together, and the relationship seems to have spurred them on to perform brilliantly.
'Matt's told a few people. But I don't think either of them really wants the romance to become the talking point of the series.'
We really hope this isn't just a publicity stunt after Matt threw his toys out of the pram over Kelly getting all the attention. We think these two make a super-cute couple. Take that Harvey!

There's not really anyone this year who's getting on my nerves yet but I can see Aleshia getting there with every week she tries and plays the sympathy vote by saying "Oh I really struggled this week in training" Yeah right we know the judges are biased as far as you go so why not fall on your butt on the dance floor and give us all a laugh you'll still score a 9.

Dunno if u saw Take Two but Kenny pulled up one side of his kilt almost to his hip,,, he has such STRONG looking legs ( rugby player legs ya know )..I thought it was so cute when OLA covered her eyes when Kenny was standing over her...It was neat.. the kilt worked even tho' Len didn't think Kenny was serious about the Kilt,, hee hee:rotfl:
There's not really anyone this year who's getting on my nerves yet but I can see Aleshia getting there with every week she tries and plays the sympathy vote by saying "Oh I really struggled this week in training" Yeah right we know the judges are biased as far as you go so why not fall on your butt on the dance floor and give us all a laugh you'll still score a 9.

Oh I would so love for that to happen Kath - Alesha is definitely the judges fave and every week she has had that shocked look of surprise on her face.
Letitia is surprising me, but I wish she'd take that stupid blooming look off her face all the time - she constantly looks like she has a face like a blow up dolls ( <<< like that  ) and it totally distracts me from the dance and just makes me want to wipe it off her face instead

Yes i know what you mean Aleesha is a great dancer (but she was in a girl group so she has a dance background) but this expression of surprise at the judge's comments is becoming annoying. Matt and Leticia Dean are really getting better and doing well
Strictly Come Dancing star Gethin Jones has revealed that he wants to a find a new girlfriend.
The Blue Peter presenter said he is on the lookout for love, but is struggling to fit romance into his busy schedule.
He told New!: “I haven’t even got time to have a cat. I’d love to have a girlfriend, but it’s difficult when you’re working all the time. It sounds like a really feeble excuse, and I’m sure if the right person came along I’d make time for the relationship. In the meantime, we keep our fingers crossed.”
However, the 29-year-old confessed that he got up close and personal with dance partner Camilla Dallerup almost as soon as they were introduced, saying: "The first time we met it was 'Hi, I’m Gethin,' and 'Hi, I’m Camilla. Right, put your hand on my bum'. I did find it awkward at the start, but that was before I got to know her and now it’s not a problem at all."
He added: "And I’m even getting more comfortable with the sexier moves, but it’s a real confidence thing."
Jones recently praised his "sexy" co-star Kate Garraway, naming her as his favourite female in the competition.
  He can shack up with me anytime he likes.

Rod Stewart has revealed that he is planning to have another child with wife Penny Lancaster, but that will be the last one for him.
The singer already has a son called Alistair with the Strictly Come Dancing contestant and he claims as soon as Penny ends the reality show they will be trying for their second child.
Stewart told The Sun: "We start serious **********g in two weeks' time.
"It's a mission like a military operation. One thing I do well is make great babies. Penny is all set to rock and roll after the exercise on the dancing show."
He reportedly added: "I'm not wearing tight underpants and don't have hot baths as I have to get the sperm count right up.
"She wants a girl so she's got one of each, but I'm not fussed."
But the rock star, who has seven children with five different partners, has insisted that after the next baby he will not have any more. He said: "This one is the big finish. We've planned and discussed it.
"After this the office is closed forever and the doors bolted."

Here's a sneak peek at the music our remaining couples will be performing to on Saturday. Can you guess which tune will be a Salsa and which will be a Viennese Waltz?
Falling – Alicia Keys
Higher – Gloria Estefan
When a Man loves a Woman – Michael Bolton
Peanut Vendor – Anita O'Day
Pastime Paradise – Ray Barretto
Flower of Scotland - Lulu
Ran Kan Kan – Tito Puente
Delilah – Tom Jones
Gotta Be Startin' Something – Michael Jackson

Tito Peunte.. SALSA no doubt...he did the music in MAMBO KINGS, WITH Antonio Banderas
Michael Bolton.. the Viennese Waltz for sure
Gloria Efstan... most likely Salsa cos she sings most of her music in english and espanol
the rest of them ???????? no clue,, LOL

some of the songs I like, mainly the ones that will be for the Waltz

I think Kate will go tomorrow as she was the weakest dancer, which is a shame as she was doing well last week. Letisha and Penny got mixed comments and they are 2nd and 3rd bottom. Popular wise John Barnes was one of the top scorers but it depends on the public vote. Poor Anton I wish he would get a decent dance partner so he could win for a change.

Anton has now bared his chest to us  twice,, and Bruno told him to SHAVE it,, then Darren shows his shaved chest ,, oh  ..Anton is not a strong Latin Dancer,,hes pure ballroom..
I have to say one thing tho he has managed to last this long,, and has got to dance 2 latin dances,, i do not think he has ever gotten this far..
I think Kate or Kenny will go tomorrow,,( do not beat me up for saying this :p )Actually Letita and Penny could also be fighting it out in the bottom 2,, Penny is just not BUILT for Latin...She and Letita both got some cutting comments from the judges..
Kate SHOULD go cos Lovely Anton LOOKS like he is tired of dragging her around the floor..next year PLEASEEEEEEEE give HIM a decent dance partner,, PLEASEEEEEE:thumbsup:

think Penny might be in trouble this week, i think its time for Kate to go. Kenny's Viennesse was rather sweet actually, he does seem to be getting in his stride now, and Ola has grown on me a lot too in the way she works with him and her choreography. and a mention must go to Kelly and Brendan's Viennesse Waltz, loved it! very inventive with the song choice, but still close enough to tradition to stop it from look daft.
Arlene Phillips has warned Kelly Brook that she needs to "grow up" if she wants to win Strictly Come Dancing.
The show's judge insisted that Brook and her dance partner Brendan Cole lack chemistry because Kelly has been acting like a "giggling six-year-old".
"Kelly and her dance partner Brendan Cole don't work because Kelly's not sexual," Arlene told the Sunday Mirror.
"She is like a giggling six-year-old wrapped in a woman's body. Her smile, her hair, her teeth, her body, her legs - everything about her physically is stunning. But she doesn't exude sexiness. She's like a little kid, and she needs to grow up fast if she wants to win."
Phillips claimed that Brendan put in more convincing performances when he was paired with Natasha Kaplinsky in series one.
"When they put Brendan and Kelly together I laughed out loud. I didn't think for a minute they would work together as a couple. And I was right - they haven't gelled," Arlene continued. "Brendan likes women like Natasha Kaplinsky - women who inspire him. He likes serious women, and I don't know how serious Kelly is."
Kenny Logan has refused to please the Strictly Come Dancing judges by performing "like a fairy".
The former rugby player claimed that the panel members are out of touch with the voting public, who have kept him out of the bottom two for three weeks running.
"The judges want me to be camp and like a fairy - but the public are the ones I need to please," Kenny told the News of the World.
Complaining about judge Bruno Tonioli, Logan continued: "I am a real man with real muscles and I don't think he likes the macho men. He's a drama queen and far too over-dramatic."
Kenny also admitted that he was unhappy about being labelled a "gorilla" by Craig Revel Horwood.
"I've got big arms and I slouch, but it doesn't make me a gorilla," he said. "That said, Craig has given me advice."
The latest Strictly results show airs tonight at 6.50pm on BBC One.

She might have a dane background but ballroom is something completely, I have been daning for years and last year when I went to this dane thing where we did worshops in different kinds I found the ballroom very hards, it very very different
Jill Halfpenny had a dance background, she still won and she deserved it :)
Alot of celebrities have dance backgroud, but none of them have 'ballroom' background, and ballroom is a completly different to other dance techniques.
Its unfair to say she doesn't desvere to win just because she had a dance background, i think it all depends on how well they pick up and improve week by week with the different ballroom dances they do.

I think it is unfair that celebrities are allowed to enter if they have had a dance background as it gives them an unfair advantage. The celebritiy who wins should be the one who has progressed and improved each week and that is not Aleshia. she has not improved each week she was getting scores in their 30's the first week, she's just kept the consitency even. To me the greatest improvement from the girls has been Letisha I expected her to be one of the first out but she has surprised us all. Penny as well was doing well she was just unlucky.

exactly my point with Jill Halfpenny. well it wasn't so much that she had a dance background but tried to lie about it. and also every week it was just like zzzz you're so wonderful jill zzzzz. nowadays Denise Lewis would have won, and rightly so.

Tointon, Ginola for 'Strictly' spin-off?

Kara Tointon
Kara Tointon and David Ginola will star in a Strictly Come Dancing spin-off for Sports Relief, say reports.
According to The Sun, the EastEnders actress and former footballer are two of the celebrities being lined up for the TV fundraiser.
They will apparently be joined by ex-contestants Darren Gough, Mark Ramprakash, Matt Dawson, Roger Black and Denise Lewis.
Other stars reportedly taking part include pop singer Elaine Paige, Hollyoaks star Gemma Bissix and athlete Jade Johnson.
A BBC spokesperson commented: "Sport Relief features Strictly Come Dancing with a difference."
The show will air in March 2008.
Gethin Jones has revealed that his mum is trying to set him up with Strictly Come Dancing partner Camilla Dallerup.
The Blue Peter presenter, who recently revealed that he is on the lookout for love, told the Daily Express: "What can I say? [Camilla's] blonde and beautiful. My mum wants us to get together because she thinks we'd have lovely looking kids."
He added: "I know I'm a lucky guy. You don't often meet someone who's that beautiful with such a great personality as well. Usually it's one or the other, but Camilla's got it all."
Dallerup has been dating financier Fabio D'Alonzo for more than three years,

oh god yes, i couldn't believe it when she was on Children in Need! go away woman, you aren't that good!
in other news, i can't wait for Gethin and Camila's rhumba tomorrow it looks so lovely.
At the end of the day, you are told to vote for your fave celeb, not which dance you thought was the best. Whats done is done - they should all get over it and move on with the series, instead of putting dampeners on it with all this whingeing. How old are they?!
Strictly Come Dancing star Kate Garraway has suffered another injury.
The GMTV host hurt herself while practising the opening of tonight's routine, by jumping off steps and falling awkwardly into the arms of her dance partner Anton Du Beke. She visited a clinic in London's Harley Street and was still waiting for test results last night.
A source told The Sun: "The doctors were worried that Kate has either broken a rib or badly bruised them. She has really hurt her side."
Producers expect Garraway to be able to dance tonight, but she may have to scrap part of the planned routine.
Kate's progress was hindered in the first few weeks of the competition because she was suffering from tendonitis.

 How can you say that Kenny is not a nice guy. The guy is a true gentleman who is having FUN in the competition and not acting like a prima donna like some of the other celebrities. I agree that he is not the best dancer but he is improving more each week, which is what makes a true winner of the competition someone who improves each week and not give the same consistent commitment to the show. If the winner is choosen through improvement I would have to pick Letisha (Gawd this compliment is killing me :rotfl: ) as she really has surprised a lot of people. I'd rather she won it instead of Aliesha "I'm the judges favourite and I can't believe how well I danced because I'[ve been struggling all week" Dixon.
I am just so in Love with Gethin, he is brilliant. Matt was good as well, we voted for hiom as we didnt think he deserved to go just because of the stumble.

I do agree that it was time for Kate to go but she has done tremendously well despite all her injuries, but the judges are so biased towards some of the celebs how can they say that some celebritites didn't dance so well as they have done in previous weeks but still give them an 8 or 9 and then say to others ooh you've improved since last week and still give them a crappy 5 or 6. If a couple have done something wrong then they should be marked down for it Brendan and kelly were. Likewise if the judges comment that the celebs danced better then there score should be increased. And I don't think the judges should be allowed to pick who goes home at the end of the day it's the public who are paying for the votes and they should get to choose who stays in.

I think Kenny is great! He has shown a lot of improvement over these past weeks and I'm with Kath on the Alesha front - sorry, but can't stand her. She's my Emma Bunton of last year...
I think John may well be in the bottom two again next week although its latin week and he normally pulls it off. Like Kath said though, as soon as Kenny is in the bottom two, he'll be gone and yes, whilst now the better dancers should be the ones to go through, we still need some entertainment aswell - I personally found Alesha's dance dull and boring last week but the judges loved it, whereas I loved Kenny's but obviously the judges hated it. No continuity as usual with them between their comments and their scores again, I have to say.

You can go off some people you know. I'm crossing you off my Christmas card list :rotfl: I'll have you kmow I happend to enjoy watching two-left footed rugby players waltzing round the dancefloor. Good on Kenny for coming back each week and not throwing a hissy fit at the judges when they pull his performance to shreads. We know he's not going to win and rightly so as he is not the best dancer but that hasn't stopped him giving a 1000% commitment to the show over the last few weeks.
I would like to see Brendan and Kelly win it now that Penny has been chucked if not Brendan and Kelly then Letisha and Darren.
To me though, as good as she is, she hasn't really "improved" in her dancing or with the scores she's been getting. Shes soooo been the judges favourite this series, even if they've said she's had a bad dance, they've scored her 8's, whereas Letitia, Matt and Gethin have had massively wide ranging scores, which actually reflect on their performance and comments made by the judges.
And she's always saying, ohhhh I found it so hard this week, I couldn't do this dance etc - ok love, don't keep repeating the same stuff week in week out - find another excuse....
Sorry, I just don't like her and would far prefer another to win, someone who has seen both their performances and their scores improving (a bit like Mark and Matt - started off pretty awful to mediocre, but ended up brilliant)

I dont wnat to judge her on what she says, or 'excuses' cos I dont know her but I like her and she has done really well and is an amazing dancer. I know whats its like to think your rubbish and cant do it and then you can.
I'm not just judging her on that though, like I say, I found her performance really boring and dull last weekend, yet she scored 10's with the judges. Believe me, I know what its like to have self doubt and self confidence issues, but the judges don't seem to mark her down when they muck up, or when their comments aren't as favourable technically towards them, like they do the rest of the celebs.
And don't forget going for the sympathy vote. "I really want to well for my Nan!!" (someone pass me a bucket ) Poor Matthew Cutler I liked his partner Carole Smillie last year but that Aleshia is getting right up my nose.
Ahhhh Matthew Cutler..... Take a look at his website, some veryyyy nice pics on there......phewwwwww :D
I know what you mean about some people mucking up and still getting high scores but they still take into consideration, timing, rhythm, stlye, footwork, arms, lines and overall performance and accuracy and feeling
*changes subject from Alesha and the wubbly jubbly Matthew Cutler*
Soooooo.......anyone know what dances are being performed this coming weekend??

I think one of them may be a foxtrot as the professionals dancers danced that on Sunday.
We know that John is doing the Samba aswell don't we, as he said that last week.
I'd say Alesha would be doing Latin, Kelly doing Ballroom, Matt doing Latin....hmm, Kenny doing Ballroom aswell as Gethin and then Letitia doing Latin...would that be right based on their dances last weekend? :searchme:
Chloe O'brien

I would prefer Letishia to do ballroom as she hasn't got the hip movment for Latin.
Strictly Come Dancing managed to retain its lead over The X Factor on Saturday, but ITV1 was on top for the night overall.
The BBC One dance show averaged 8.9 million viewers - a 40% share of the audience - between 5.50pm and 7.05pm, while X Factor pulled in 8.5 million over 90 minutes, albeit from a later start time of 6.40pm. The gap between the two rival series has narrowed, however: last week Strictly had 9.3 million over X Factor's 8.7 million. The latter also claimed a healthy 48% share of 16-34s.
The X Factor results show, which saw 23-year-old Alisha Bennett eliminated from the competition, drew an impressive 7.6 million at 8.55pm, topping Casualty, which had 6.2 million.
I'm A Celebrity rebounded to 7.6 million (35%) at 9.30pm, comfortably ahead of BBC One's The Omid Djalili Show (3.4 million) and news bulletin (3.6 million).
why isnt lee singing something from Joseph :(
Because sweetie he does that every day and some times twice or three times a day... he sang that song in the contest...
Lee sang Joesph songs on CHILDREN IN NEED,, :-D
awww I know, I didnt see him on children in need and it would of been nice

And Gabby is still moaning:
This was in yeterday's metro newspaper. Gabby Logan thinks there should be two teams for future SCD series. One for dancers and one for entertainers. Why can't she just let it lie. It was weeks ago she went out of the competition and she's still on her high horse about it. Give it a rest woman.

Matt was amazing, wow. He deserved better marks than Aleesha.
She wasn't the best. Difficult song an her dance routine did not sparkle as much.
And again Letitia was stunning, good on ya Gall.

DutchGirl,, I am with u about MATT,, woweeee.... that boy is SEXY...
Can people PLEASE STOP voting for that immodest Alesha ?? Did any one see her on TAKE TWO ???gush gush gush,, heres my mum, oh heres my dawg, oh oh oh oh,, it was so hard,, blah blah blah blah. Actually Matt danced better than she did this evening,, she was not that good..
I am afraid it is gonna be Kenny or John this week...but really its any ones game ....:searchme: :searchme:

Man that Aleshia is really getting up my nose big style. I had to mute the volume button when she was yapping. I think the bottom two tomorrow will be John and Gethin. Kenny did really well tonight. Totally shocked about the comments made about Brendan and Kelly.
JustJodi
24-11-2007, 22:41
Gethin ????? why ?? I thought he did rather well..or at least better than that phony Alesha ..
Remember this is any ones game now,,Remember Mark R. didn't do worth a darn in the begining, but he rose like the phoenix about the 6th week...I still feel the bottom two will be John and Kenny... but again it could be ALESHA AND KELLY

24-11-2007, 23:00
I know Kenny doesn't stand a cat in hells chance in winning, which is fair enough he is one of the weaker dancers, but what he lacks in ability he makes up for in effort. If Kelly and Brendan don't win I would like to see Letishia and Darren win it. For me she is the only one out of all the celebrities who has really improved week after week. She was in the dance off at the begining but since then she has taken the judges comments on board and listens to Darren.

big round of the applause to Kenny for that American Smooth; it wasn't the greatest but the leap he made this week was amazing. not just the lifts but all the footwork, his timing and everything were so much better.
and oh my word Matt and Alesha! hehe, and it totally helps that Matt is smitten with Flavia. but can everyone please get off Alesha's back! if she says she's struggling then she's apparently lying and then if she says she's enjoying herself she's being smug, she can't win! what's wrong with being good and wanting to win? if you've been top of the leader board for so many weeks you can hardly pretend you haven't noticed and aren't enjoying yourself. that cha cha was great last night, the choreography was proper cha cha stuff and it was technically good and a proper performance. i would say Matt's was just as good, especially since it had the slightly more surprising factor that he'd taken another step up in his ability- but that doesn't take away the fact that Alesha's was good.
i hope John Barnes is in the bottom two, he isn't progressing at all. and is Nichole actually doing anything to try and improve his posture? he's got good ability but to me his dances are all starting to look a bit same-y.
megan999
25-11-2007, 18:29
I agree - John Barnes isn't making any progress at all IMO. Kenny is entertaining, I'll give him that, but I'd like either him or John to go tonight.

So how does the scheme work. Do they tape everything on Saturday, and is only the end filmed on Sunday? I'm confused. Because they speak of tonights performances on the Sunday.:searchme:

Hmmmmmm now I am trying to think,, Did Brucie and Tess wear something different on SUNDAY ?????:searchme: :searchme:
This whole think stinks !!!!!!!!
I remember last year when the professionals went out and did a special dance,, when they came bac k to be judged they were in a different costume ..now they all wear the same thing from their last dance with their celebrities,, so I am as confused as u are DG... this is not a very good plan...:hmm:
I really enjoyed the dancing from all on Sunday's show (Dirty Dancing Set) all looked and performed really well.
Aleesha is by far the best but i think Matt and Letisha have improved the most.
I think between John and Kelly, John had to go.
Kenny is getting better
Its all filmed on the Saturday night, with the Sunday show being a recording :D

Alesha Dixon to battle for Christmas No.1?
Sunday, November 25 2007, 10:45 GMT
By Daniel Kilkelly
Strictly Come Dancing contestant Alesha Dixon could compete against the X Factor winner in the battle for the Christmas number one spot.
The Strictly theme tune has been turned into a song called 'Let's Go Dancing', which will be released next month, and pop singer Alesha is the first choice to record the track.
"We hope one of the show's stars will sing it and propel it to the top," Dan McGrath, who co-wrote the track with Josh Phillips, told the Sunday Mirror. "Strictly is winning the ratings war - now we're going to pile on the agony."
He added: "We're expecting Simon Cowell to be crying into his Christmas turkey."

Kelly drops out of Strictly show

SOURCE: SUN ONLINE
GRIEVING Kelly Brook has pulled out of Strictly Come Dancing - just days after her dad died, The Sun can reveal.
The stunning brunette this morning told show bosses and partner Brendan Cole her decision.
We told how Kelly’s beloved dad Kenneth passed away on Monday night after a long battle with lung cancer.
He died just three days after Kelly’s 28th birthday.
A BBC spokesperson said: "Kelly Brook has taken the decision to pull out of Strictly Come Dancing following the loss of her father this week.
"Kelly has done some training as she had hoped to continue with the show in his memory. However, understandably she has found it too difficult.
"Kelly has been a fantastic part of the programme and she will be sorely missed by everyone on the show who would also like to express their deepest sympathy to Kelly and her family at this difficult time."
Kelly and Brendan, 31, had been favourites to make it to the final of the BBC1 ballroom hit on December 22.
A show source said: “Everyone is shocked, but realise that Kelly is completely in tatters over her dad’s death."
Show bosses are now frantically reworking tomorrow night’s live show, where contestants were set to perform two dances.
They may either get the professional dancers to come up with a new routine to fill the gap and also screen Kelly and Brendan’s best moments.
Kelly’s departure leaves Alesha Dixon, EastEnder Matt Di Angelo and Blue Peter hunk Gethin Jones with a great shot at reaching the finals.
However, the model-turned-actress might not be hanging up her sexy sequins for good, she's still considering appearing in the Christmas special.
My sympathies to Kelly and her family. Its a shame she left she was good and she was a contender to win.
BTW will someone else still be voted off the show this weekend?

Yes, they are going to have a 2 couple final instead of a 3 couple final.

My heart goes out to Kelly. She has done brilliantly in this competition despite the personal heartbreak she was suffering. I hope the judges are ashamed of themselves after the comments they made about her performance last week. They must have known the reason she didn't get much praticing done was due to her father's illness.

I'm sorry Kelly had to leave she did a brilliant job and the reason is very sad.
But I thought Alesha's tango was stunning, and so was Matt's.
I think they should leave all couples in and have a three pairs final. I felt sorry for Letitia when she was clearly not feeling well.
Arlene should not have offended Ola like that, shame on her. Kenny was giving it his all his facial expression was so sincere. He must have thought of his wife.

i know, i couldn't quite understand what she was getting at! :thumbsdow
loved alesha's tango, but woah it was gethin's night last night! :cheer: he really threw himself around at that salsa and that waltz was so delicate.
bottom 2? i think it may indeed be kenny and letitia- as much as i feel sorry for letitia i think she is grinding to a halt and maybe she should go. she couldn't do the salsa or cha cha so i doubt she can do the samba or jive.

It's the end of the road for Kenny, but he did well to get this far in the competition. I hope Letisha bounces back next week as I think she deserves to be in the final.
Yeah Im gald Kenny gone, we are getting close to the finals now and it wouldnt be fair if he stayed

Kenny can go out now with his head held high, he did fine with his last two dances,he came farther than any of us anticipated..If any one goes out next it will be Letitia,, the other 3 are really strong at the moment..I have no real favorites,, who ever wins now is any ones guess..Matt and Gethin both have come VERY FAR and have done quite well ,, Alesha is Alesha,, she annoys me no matter what people says about her:searchme:
I think it was the right time for Kenny to go, as great as he is, the others are far better dancers and, to me, it wouldn't be right now for one of them to lose out to him (as awful as it sounds)
I don't mind who between Matt and Gethin win, I'd prefer one of those to to Alesha, simply because she has been a great dancer from the start. I know she has worked just as hard as everyone else, but I have personally been able to see improvement in the two guys, whereas Alesha, to my untrained eye and for the wish of pure entertainment, has remained of the same standard throughout.
My vote has to go to Gethin though - a) he's Welsh (gotta wave the Welsh flag seeing as my lads are all 1/2 Welsh, b) cos he is absolutely gorgeous and c) after seeing those hips moving at the weekend....I'm in lurrrvve!!!

I went to You tube to watch the boys dance again,, then turned on the TV just in time to see Gethin dance .. boy he was really playing the crowd..but Matt's dance is what got my panties/nickers in a bunch,, whoo Matt really sold that dance.. as they said he looked like a lounge lizard ( smokers jacket, ascot, slicked back hair )
Gethin and Matt are both awesome and down right sexy when they figure out how to ooozeeee it out LOL:lol:
Lol
Well Im going to be voting for Alesha when it comes to the finals

So long Kenny he did well.
I think Letitia will go next.
I hope Gethin or Matt wins.
While Alesha Dixon is great she annoys me she is always surprised and shocked when she gets great comments. I bet she wasn't too happy that Gethin was top of leader board this week.

Gabby still unhappy over 'Strictly' exit
Saturday, December 1 2007, 10:46 GMT
By Daniel Kilkelly
Gabby Logan is still unhappy about her shock elimination from Strictly Come Dancing.
The TV host was the fourth contestant to be voted off this year, despite receiving praise from the judges for her performances. Her husband Kenny has been less popular with the four panelists, but is still competing on the show after managing to win over viewers.
"She's been upset, yes, no denying it," Kenny told the Daily Mail.
"It's a case of unfinished business. I mean, if I go out this week, I'll feel that I've reached the end of the line and that I'm not good enough to go any further. Gabby was cheated, so there will always be that 'what if?' thing going on."
"Some of her friends voted for me that week," he admitted. "Afterwards, they said: 'But Kenny, we thought you needed all the help you could get.'
"Some even admitted that they had voted for Kate Garraway - because they felt sorry for her."

i really don't get what happened with Matt, did he just miss a step and lose timing and the whole thing fell apart? poor thing, he really looked like he was going to cry. although saying that, his Samba disappointed me, he could have come out and really gone for it to try and make up for the foxtrot, but he seemed rather subdued.
Alesha's Viennesse Waltz was ama-zing! probably the best there's been on the whole of SCD and Matthew's choreography was beautiful.
as was Camilla's jive choreogrpahy, wow that was a show stopping routine, i want gethin to get to the final so that Camilla finally has a go at a showdance- she's never made it to a final the poor thing!
Letitia's waltz was very good and they finally gave her a nice non-grandma-looking dress! however, that jive was terrible compared to everyone else who's left in the competition. since she was in the bottom two last week i think she will be this week too. but if she's there with Matt who will they choose if they think Matt's bottled it? hmmm...

Why couldn't they have done the same as X-Factor and stopped the judges deciding. Atleast Alisha may have gone then instead of Tish. So happy Matt still in, thought he would be as he was the bottom, and the bottom person usually get's the public vote.
