To be honest, I don't think the final 3 are representative of the highest talent that Britain can provide.
Yep, but Dave its not just about talent (singing)....its about who has got the X factor - who is the most enjoyable and entertaining to watch....:)
Im soooooo shocked that Nikki went

Just for Lea who's on a Mission
X Factor contestant Rhydian Roberts has denied rumours that he is gay and has also confirmed that he is still a virgin.
The singer claimed he has no problem with people assuming he is gay, but added that he is "100%" straight.
He told the Mirror: "If people are assuming that I am gay, or whatever, that is fine.
"They don't know me and I dress quite camp. But I can say categorically that I am 100% straight."
Roberts revealed that his Christian beliefs are the reason behind his decision to not have sex before marriage.
He commented: "That is not saying that I can't have fun with a lady. I love the company of women.
"I have been offered sex, like most men. But if you believe in something you can't compromise. But I am only human and you can fall short. At the moment, my priority is singing.
"I am not a closet Christian. If someone asks me about it, I will talk about it. I do pray on Saturdays but then I pray every day. But what will be will be, it's God's will and that is a great mental attitude to have."

Aw thanks :p.
I could totally marry Rhydian. HE's so sweet . This just made me love Rhyd more
It is such a shame that Niki had to go, would have preferred for Same Difference to finally leave. All the other performers were great, I expect Rhydian will win it though.

Oh Im loving Rhydian more and more.....what a refreshing change that he seems a really nice, hardworking and determined guy, who has some moral convictions too! Hope Fame and fortune wont change him....thinks back to Gareth Gates...and the unfortunate Jordan saga...
I have a funny feeling same difference could win it you know. It will be them or Rydian.
I thikn it was a pity Niki went, but at the end of the day its the young uns that usually stay as people see what happeneded with Steve.
I'm pleased Niki has gone. No one would buy her records anyway.
SD are popular with the kids, which is fair enough. They have their niche, they know it, and they cater for them. Rhydian is the same- They know what he is good at, and they do it every week. I'm not so sure about Leon.
3rd- Leon
2nd- Same Difference
1st- Rhydian.

Well unless you have a crystal ball, you cant really say that NO ONE would have bought her records!!! lol She did have quite a lot of fans and famous people like Simon Le Bon backing her! Also she did get down to the last four - which shows that the voting public liked her alot.
Paul Potts has sold a truckful of records this year, which came off the back of a TV programme, and he's not your typical muscial star, so you never know really how things are going to turn out!
I wouldnt be surprised if she released an album of covers in the near future and my money is on it doing pretty well. Infact, I'd probably buy a copy for my nan!

Yep, but Dave its not just about talent (singing)....its about who has got the X factor - who is the most enjoyable and entertaining to watch....:)
And thats certainly not Same Difference- no X-factor whatsoever. They cant sing, cant dance and are nauseating with their stupid performances week after week. I missed it last night so watched the repeat today their version of 'Chain reaction' was a train wreck. Then they top it all of with a sob story, and what do the ridiciulous British public do, they vote them into the final- outrageous. Louis is the only one prepared to give them a reality check, good on him. Nikki should have been in the final.
Rhydian once again amazing, if he gets beaten by SD then I will eat my own hat. And Leon was awful tonight as well, I don't think 19 year olds should be singing all that old jazz. He's sweet but not a star. Rhydian is.

They might not be your cup of tea, but to a lot of other people they obviously are, otherwise they wouldnt still be there.
Anyway, didnt Niki have the biggest sob story going? Hardly a week went by without her deceased father being mentioned!

I think Nikki would sell albums she was a great singer even though she stuck to ballads all the time and she is likeable. I thought she would be in the final. I think Rhydian will win.

Well I know that Nigel I just don't agree with the majority of the general public. Niki did as well your quite right about that.
I'm surprised Nikki went she did very well i thought for sure she would be in the final. I think Rhydian will win. Even the song the winner will release "When You Believe" is best suited for him only

Once again, i think she would sell as many albums as Steve Brookstein did.
1 good album, then sink to oblivion.
After all, lets not forget that his second album got to an amazing #165 in the charts

You can sell anything to the public if you dress it up the right way. With the right advertising and songs, Niki could have been successful.

I was thinking the same otfl:
Kylie Minogue and Jason Donovan have been confirmed as special guests on this week's X Factor final.
But the stars, who hit number one with the duet Especially For You in 1988, will not perform together.
Minogue will sing with finalist Leon Jackson, who is being mentored by her sister, Danni. Donovan is to perform with Simon Cowell's Same Difference.
Meanwhile, opera singer Katherine Jenkins will duet with the bookmaker's favourite, Rhydian Roberts.
Hopefuls
Ladbrokes are offering 1/3 odds for Roberts to win, Jackson is 7/2 and Same Difference are 6/1.
An ITV spokesperson said the songs each performer will sing will be confirmed later in the week.
The fourth series of the show began in August with thousands of hopefuls auditioning.
Dermot O'Leary was introduced as the new host, while Danni Minogue joined judges Cowell, Sharon Osbourne and Louis Walsh.
The X Factor final will be broadcast live at 1915 GMT on Saturday, and the results will be unveiled in a later show at 2135 GMT.
The prize is a £1m recording contract.
Last year's winner, Leona Lewis, is currently at number one in the UK singles charts with Bleeding Love.

im so glad niki has gone, i was so sick of hearing her sing ballads afr=ter balads every week. oh and not to be heartless but shes not the first person in the world to lose a parent and she certainly wont be the last. at the start when it was mentioned it was a nice story but then it got to the extent she was using it as a publicity stunt to get kept in,
whats the odds that if she won her album would have been dedicated to her dad

They should bring back Michael Buble for the final and have Leon sing with him.
Jason Donovan is a has been whats the point of him being there and being paired with Same Difference :thumbsdow
Kylie singing with Leon i can't see why okay they will be the same height probably :thumbsdow
Rhydian singing with a fellow Welsh opera singer Katherine Jenkins how predictable :thumbsdow
I agree i think no matter what their personal back story is i.e. Nikki's dad dying, the bullying of the girl from Same Difference its about singing only
I think Rhydian will win i would prefer Leon to win
I think they could have picked better guests for the final. I'd like to see Leona, Shayne Ward, Take That, Westlife or Michael Buble back.

X Factor Final Songs Revealed!
Thu Dec 13 12:50PM by TV Editor
The song choices have been revealed for this year's X Factor final! This week there's a Christmas theme to one of the choices, plus the contestants get to pick their favourite from the series so far. So, what have we got?
Well, Same Difference are singing Mariah's classic All I Want For Christmas Is You and Breaking Free from High School Musical. Their festive choice is an incredibly popular song (it's back in the Top 10 at the moment) and the energetic feel will suit their style. The HSM song was a big success for them earlier in the series and, as we know they are very popular with younger viewers, this is a very clever choice. The pair will also duet with Jason Donovan on Any Dream Will Do. Another very popular track - let's just hope they ditch the kiddies with the fake candles this time around! Vomit!
Meanwhile, Leon is singing White Christmas and You Don't Know Me. White Christmas is the most successful Christmas song of all time and it will definitely suit Leon's crooning style, while You Don't Know Me won the judges over several weeks ago and helped him secure his place in the competition. He's also performing a duet of Better The Devil You Know with Kylie Minogue - this will be the swing version of the track first performed on An Audience With Kylie. Singing with such a big star is likely to get Leon some extra votes.
Finally, Rhydian will be belting out the Christmas classic O Holy Night - this song will suit his voice perfectly and there won't be a dry eye in the house. Expect a standing ovation if he pulls that one off. His own choice of track is Somewhere - again this was very popular with the judges when he first performed it on the show. Our personal Rhydian highlight of the series was his version of You Raise Me Up and he'll be performing this on the final with Katherine Jenkins. It had the audience and the judges on their feet last time, will it do the same again?
So, there you have it. Leon's choices are very safe - perhaps a little too safe for an X Factor final? We think this final is between Rhydian and Same Difference and it may be closer than people think. They're both such different acts and both have such different fanbases that it will be a case of fastest fingers first with viewers on the phonelines.
Johnny Allen

Why are they singing songs they've already sung?, they need to do something different. Perfect choice to have Donovan with SD, both can't sing, both are cheesy and both will do anything for the spotlight, I mean Jason Donovan and those Iceland adverts, please..........
*-Rooney-*
13-12-2007, 17:25
not trying to be funny but if SD cant sing why do you suppose they are in the final 3, having beat nikki, beverley and the rest, cant be doing such a bad job - can they?

13-12-2007, 20:48
I am not a great fan of SD but to be fair to them, they are the only ones singing and dancing, which is not an easy feat. I think there is a market for them given the success of HSM. Think they will get my vote this week. I am also sick of reading (on other forums) how it's not right brother and sister singing love songs, anybody remember the Carpenters!! - SD dont sing to each other lovey style, don't hold hands etc.. honestly this world has gone completely bonkers.
Leon and Kylie, well we all know who could organise that

yeah i know exactly what you mean ive read on other sites also that people think they are incestuous, and undertandably they are upset by this. Like you said there have been the carpenters and also the corrs and im sure there have been more. so what they sing love songs they have to sing songs to a, suit their voices and b, what the audience know
and to be fair they do put a lot more work into their performances every week as they have dance routines to learn as well as the songs, the others just have the songs
Anyway I do like the song choices, think it will be a really good week

May be off thread, but watched Sharon Osborne on Graham Norton last night, talk about Pot and Kettle, like she has had no surgery done (sharon that is) and what is she famous for (Sharon again) marrying Ozzy, that reality TV thingy and managing his band, her credentials in the UK are not that great, so to take a swipe on TV at Dani was way below the belt and I hope she is unemployed after that, BTW am not a big Dani fan but SO was totally out of order.

sharon's never pretended that she hasn't had surgery, but she likes to wind up people who obviously have and pretend they haven't. and considering Sharon, Simon and Louis all have histories of successfully managing big groups and selling lots of records i would be a bit annoyed that some second-rate popstar got to join the judging panel.

Sharon Osbourne has blasted fellow X Factor judge Dannii Minogue for only being on the show because she looks good.
The outspoken panellist launched a scathing attack on her co-star, claiming she only landed the job because of her looks - and because Simon Cowell fancies her.
Ozzy’s wife also mocked Dannii during a comedy sketch on The Graham Norton Show. The pair have been seen feuding for weeks on The X Factor, with rumours of bitching behind the scenes.
Sharon said: “She is younger, she is better looking and he (Cowell) does want her and he doesn’t want me - thank God,” she laughed.
After her outburst she fell about in fits of giggles and said: “I’m going to get into so much trouble.
“I’ve waited weeks to get my own back. I’ve had to keep it shut week after week while every week she pummels me in the press.”
Sharon said past comments made by Dannii had upset her, adding: “I’m not angry - I’m hurt.”
Sharon’s verbal attack will add insult to injury for Dannii in a week when her new single failed to chart in the UK’s top 20.
Tension has been brewing for weeks between the two female judges. Kylie’s sister stormed off last week’s programme after an argument with fellow judge Louise Walsh.
Constant bickering means The X Factor is rarely out of the headlines. In October Sharon walked out of the ITV show after two of her three acts faced being sent home. She said she couldn’t choose between them and stormed off.
Louis was famously sacked from the hit show but was invited back months after.

After watching the acts perform 3 songs each. Rhydian has got to win it hands down. Same Difference sang better than I expected them to but they're still not in his league. (Voodoo step away from the phone). I know I should be supporting Leon because he's scottish but I just feel that the songs he has been singing in the competition have just been two old fashioned for him and that has let him down. Rhydian was brilliant Simon was right that he has been the only act throughout who has been consistently brilliant. The rejects were fabulous as always. As for the judges is it just me or have Danni and Sharon avoided eye contact with each other all night. I bet you can cut the atmostphere with a knife in the studio tonight.

Where did Leon come from!! To be fair, his version of the single was the better, so if you just judge that, he deserved it. I think Rhydian belongs on the stage. Not in Phantom or Les Mis, maybe something like Blood Brothers? He'll have a good career, i think, just probably not in the pop world. He's still fab though.

totally shocked when it was announced leon had won i thought it was a dead cert that rhyd had won, so glad he didnt (hate that guy)
Well that was a shock...the only bigger one would have been if Same Difference won.
I think Leon will go the same way as that Steve guy who won a few years ago....one single then no one ever heard from him again. I really don't think he has the staying power that Rhydian has. Although i do agree with a lot of the comments about "The Riddler" being better suited to theatre rather than the pop world. He'll do well whatever he does though I think.

Absolutely I would have bet my wages on Rhydian winning it, then in the last 5 minutes I began to think maybe Leon might just grab it. Rhydian will be more successful I feel, Leon's a nice guy with a good voice but he doesn't really stand out for me, he's just another Micheal Buble, Rhydian now he's something completely different, he has the X-factor. Im just relieved SD didn't win.

I agree with Johnny Allen and Rain about Rhydian having more about him and staying power than Leon. I think Leon needs to develop a personality pretty quickly, if he is going to make it.
I personally think Rhydian will be the big success story, and to be honest, in the long run he might have more creditability and gain more respect as a serious artist, by not winning the show!
Well done to Leon, I was very surprised but I am pleased for him. Rhydian will do well anyway, I am absolutley chuffed that SD got third, would have hated it if they had won.

I think Rhydian, will not just be on the stage (West End), there's more to him than that. He is a show man, and will do great, Im sure.
I think he will be around alot longer than Leon, who will probably release that one single (and its not a very good one at that) and then disappear...his career will probably be shorter than Gareth Gates!!!

Yep the show is heavily mediated (posh media term for editing!).. (I wouldn't be surprised if Sharon's hissy fit in the first live show was created to get ratings! ) and Rhydian was made out to be some panto phantom that everyone should hate - I'm just glad it stopped in the end, as he was a great performer that didn't deserve that label in my opinion and he came across as a decent guy.

He was on the Welsh news a few weeks ago and he is just solovely. and he even seems lovely on the show!!!
RHYDIAN FOREVER!!!!
All of them will have had their "hissy fits" during the recording of the show....yes some more than others, but they have to have one bad guy every year and this year Rhydian was it. It will stand him in good stead though, as although Leon won...Rhydian's name is the one on everyones lips.
I think so too, he seemed to mellow a lot towards the end of the competition and after hating him at first, I quite like him now. His supporters need not fret, he will be around for a long time, we will not have heard the last of him, as he is a brilliant performer and singer.b

My parents tried to vote for Rhydian quite a few times, but couldn't get through at all.
Media watchdog Ofcom is looking into complaints from X Factor viewers who claim they could not phone in to vote for eventual runner-up Rhydian Roberts.
The Welsh singer was hot favourite to win, but narrowly lost to Leon Jackson on Saturday night's ITV1 show.
Ofcom has had 80 viewers' complaints, and some fans told the BBC they tried and failed to vote up to 10 times.
The programme's production company said the high number of calls meant some people were greeted by engaged tones.
An Ofcom spokesman said viewers had "expressed concerns about the operation of the voting and many said they were struggling to get through".
Some radio stations in Rhydian's native Wales said they would boycott the winner's single and demanded a recount.
If the 'network' was busy then surely the amount of votes could not accurately be counted
Andrew Powell, X Factor viewer on the victory of Leon, pictured
Scotland's Leon won the ITV1 show and a £1m recording contract, beating Rhydian, who had been the 1/3 favourite.
But viewers who had tried to vote for Rhydian, 24, from Sennybridge, Powys, insisted the phone lines were constantly busy during Saturday night's live final.
Gwyneth Greenslade, from Llandrindod Wells, Powys, told the BBC News website she had phoned 10 times and could not get through.
Her two friends also tried seven and 10 times respectively - and they too failed to register a vote.
"If you ring 10 times you expect to get through - I was very cross," said Mrs Greenslade.
"A lot of other people in this area said they couldn't get through. It seems to be very unfair."
Andrew Powell, from Abergavenny, e-mailed BBC Wales to say he and his family tried ringing to vote for Rhydian for an hour-and-a-half, only to be told the network was busy.
As all numbers go through to the same lines and vote platform, it is impossible for there to be any bias in favour or against a particular contestant
Talkback Thames, X Factor production company
He wrote: "If the 'network' was busy then surely the amount of votes could not accurately be counted as the possibility of thousands of other voters that could not get through may have altered the outcome."
Fans on website message boards also complained about being unable to get through to vote for Rhydian.
A group of radio stations in Wales - including Bridgend's Bridge FM, Swansea Bay Radio, Radio Carmarthenshire and Radio Pembrokeshire - said they would ban Leon's Christmas single over the voting.
The stations, which are part of the Town and Country Broadcasting group, said they wanted a recount after being inundated with calls from their listeners about the busy phone lines.
X Factor production company Talkback Thames admitted some viewers trying to register their votes were met with the engaged tone, but blamed it on the sheer volume of calls.
"As all numbers go through to the same lines and vote platform, it is impossible for there to be any bias in favour or against a particular contestant," said a spokeswoman.
"Phone lines were monitored throughout the night and there were no issues on voting lines.
"We do get a huge surge of calls and depending on phone operators some callers may have experienced an engaged tone or network busy message and therefore may have to call back, but these calls should not be charged.
"Some Virgin Media customers did experience problems getting through because of high call volumes, but there were no other reported faults on the lines."
A Virgin Media spokesperson said: "We are currently looking into the X Factor matter but so far have not found anything unusual.
"However, we do know that the large volume of calls meant that some viewers had to keep redialling in order to get through. This is not unusual, for any of the telephone networks, for this type of mass voting event."
This is all rubbish. I know people who wanted to vote for Leon and couldn't get through - so what? This always happens with the x factor - I have often had to attempt to vote loads of times to get through.
Nothing new.

god talk about total sore losers rhydian didnt win, boo hoo, is that any reason to take it out on leon really, like you say its not the last we have heard of rhydian. im glad leon won but i was so sure rhydian was gonna win to my dismay as i have never liked him and his voice just wouldnt fit into the popworld, and he thinks hes billy idol with that hair do lol, its only a talent show , its meant to be fun for the viewers not start world war 3
Rhydian Roberts believes that he could have been "stitched up" by X Factor producers, according to the singer's father Malcolm.
Fans of the Welsh contestant have claimed that they could not vote for him during Saturday night's final because his line was constantly engaged. TV watchdog Ofcom has launched an investigation following complaints from viewers, but ITV has insisted that there were no problems with the vote.
"Rhyd's not a bad loser but he feels the same as us about the result - and we think it's a fix," Malcolm told The Sun. "He believes it's possible he was stitched up. He's disappointed for himself and his fans."
He added: "Most of Wales couldn't get through."
Malcolm's comments come just one day after Rhydian's uncle said that his nephew did not want to be associated with the rumours.

I heard a comment on the radio this morning about the alleged fix, "do you honestly believe Simon Cowell is really going to let the public decide who is going to get his million pound contract"... Far comment, yes we get to vote people of every week but I think at the end of the day it is Simon's company that decides.
Would Rydian have been successful? I don't think so, he is very selected, like charlotte church (own up how many of us have Cds of charlotte church) and Leon can be trained to do whatever Simon wants him to do!!

Really? all this "scandal" as you call it, is actually making me dislike rhydian even more than i already do. He would never have made it in the popworld his voice just isnt suited. and if rhydian cant stand losing he should never have entered a competition like the X factor. The viewers chose leon. Its about time the rhyd fans dealt with that
Somebody once said "conspiracy theories are for those who can't accept reality." Just because somebody phoned ten times and each time it was engaged does not mean that it was fixed in favour of Leon. Out of the (possibly) millions of people who voted 700 (the number of people who have complained) is a rather insignificant figure. I highly doubt that those 700 people would have made a great deal of difference to the final result.
Rhydian lost out, get over it. There are far more important things going on in the world to be complaining to OFCOM about a phone vote just because a some people couldn't get through.

But the point is, 1,500 people actually bothered to phone in and complain. Those are the people who perhaps would have phoned 4 or 5 times. Thats 7,500 votes, at least. And those are just the die hard fans. Say a few thosand couldn't get through, but aren't bothered enough to ring up- It would add up very easily. For all we know, 1 million people could have got engaged tones, they just wont all ring in, will they? So it may only be the 1,500 that complained, but a doubt it very much.

ok give this a thought, if thats how many people couldnt get through to vote for rhydian and he came second. imagine how many people got the engaged tone while trying to vote for leon and because he won we arent exactly going to hear anyone complaining that they couldnt get through as they really arent caring now since leon has won.
This is suppposed to be a bit of fun for the viewers on a saturday night, if everyone continues to carry on like this it wont come back
I am sure that a fair number of those who didn't complain when they didn't get through voted for Leon.
As I have said before voters from both camps were dienfranchised - and it happens all the time in TV phone ins.
So what.

Of course they haven't complained. Which is why OFCOM are conducting an investigation into what happened- To see how it affected the voters for all 3 finalists, not just Rhydian. After all, Leon may have won by more, for all we know.
As Trinity said, it probably is sore losers. But if people are having problems phoning in, then OFCOM need to investigate why that was. Because it could happen on other TV shows, for all they know.

Your right - it is only a reality show and I find it incredibly sad that the public are going to the trouble of complaining to Ofcom just because Rhydian didn't win. There are bigger things in the world to worry about. Leon won, Rhydian didn't - get over it. Like you say, Rhydian will get a recording contract anyway, which defeats the whole point of the competition anyway as isn't the winner only allowed the recording contract? (don't get me wrong, I'm glad Rhydian will get a recording contract but surely only the winner deserves it as that's what the competition is all about?).

X Factor losers Same Difference have landed a record deal - for ONE single.
Brother and sister duo Sean and Sarah Smith have been handed a final chance to prove themselves with Simon Cowell on his Syco label. But Sean, 22, proudly declared: "It's what we were holding out for", adding: "We have to sell loads and hopefully make No 1 before they will sign us for an album."
The pair, third in the ITV show, said judge Cowell is searching for a perfect song to win over their young following.
Since the final Sean and Sarah have begun a whirlwind tour playing at gay clubs, leisure centres and music venues.
Sean said: "Don't worry, we haven't turned into divas yet. I don't ask for rose petals to be strewn over the floor."
The record deal comes as bookies William Hill have began taking bets at 8/1 that they would become Blue Peter hosts to cash in on their appeal to kids. Sean said: "Blue Peter is all about everything we stand for, teaching children the right thing to do and most of all having fun."
The Portsmouth pair vowed to be good role models for youngsters.

X Factor winner Leon Jackson has been forced to cancel his performance at Edinburgh's Hogmanay celebrations after being struck down with tonsillitis.
The 19-year-old was scheduled to kick off the city's annual Street Party, but has been ordered to rest his voice for the next two weeks.
He said: "I'm just disappointed to be letting people down, but it wouldn't feel nice to get on stage and not be able to deliver."
George Grubb, Edinburgh City Council's Lord Provost, said he was disappointed that Jackson was unable to play, adding: "His presence would have been a great way to open the celebrations, but we are still very excited about the excellent entertainment that we have lined up on all the stages tonight."
At least 50,000 revellers are expected at the event, with forecasts predicting "damp" weather.
Jackson's debut single 'When You Believe' is currently at number one in the UK charts for the second week.

X Factor winner Leon Jackson has decided that he wants to try his luck with Hollyoaks actress Emma Rigby.
The 19-year-old Scot has invited Rigby, who plays Hannah Ashworth, and her soap co-stars to see him perform live when the X Factor tour comes to Manchester later this year.
"He has a serious crush on Emma," one pal told the Daily Star. "He thinks she is absolutely gorgeous and out of all the Hollyoaks girls she is definitely the one that he wants to date. Even though he's really busy he wants to whisk her away."
Leon's debut song 'When You Believe' is currently riding high at the top of the UK singles chart for a third week.

a friend of mine is going to the first round of the x factor 2008 auditions on saturday in manchester. i didnt realise the auditions started so early with auditions before the ones we see on the tv with miles of people queueing.
did anyone else think the auditions we see on the tv were the first ones?

I must admit I thought the auditions we see on telly were the first ones, just some editing because they can't possibly show thousands of candidates, obviously. Good luck for your mate on Saturday.

no, it's all staged rubbish, you have to go through 3 rounds of auditions before getting to see Simon, Sharon and co.
which is stupid becuase people who cant sing for toffee get to see them, proving it's all fake and staged. some of the people who can actually sing aren't given the chance to sing infront of the proper judges.

I suppose they have to show some of the ones that can't sing, it would be boring if they had just the good ones on and if the judges could not have a hissy when they don't agree on keeping the person on for the next round or not. That is what most people want to see, Sharon pouring water over Louis or fighting with Simon.

It's all a total fix and not something i'd bother to go through again, it's not worth the time that you wait around and the effort to get there etc...
It feel's like they've decided before you even sing for them. You stand a better chance if your total rubbish !

well my friend got through his first two rounds anyway, he has to go again a week on wednesday.
IT’S official! Oddball Welsh warbler RHYDIAN ROBERTS is blessed with the Vex Factor.
He’s the UK’s least popular act among young males, say the pollers at Popscores.
The record industry uses the monthly league table to measure the nation’s feelings towards different artists.
And the X Factor runner-up recorded a spectacularly low score of MINUS 18 from men in their twenties. And he didn’t do much better among other groups.
At the other end of the Popscores’ scale, RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS are Britain’s favourite band.
The scoring system is complicated, but it’s enough to say that if Rhydian were a Premier League team he’d have finished below even Derby County last term.
Give him the Rhyd card!

Must say, since the X factor last year I have not heard of him again. What has he been up to? :searchme:
