View Full Version : More bad news for the girls...
News is that Shane West is also leaving this series of ER - apparently his exit is to be the series finale.
Who is there left? All the hotties are going!
There all leaving !. ER wont be the same with lots of cast leaving. I thought this series was going to be the last, or is there one more.
Question: Is this Shane West’s last season on ER?— Sonia Gill
Ausiello: It certainly looks that way based on what I'm hearing about the season finale
Doesn't reveal anything about this being the last season though, which I thought it was going to be :searchme:
Thats what confused me, i thought this was the final one, so therefore all the characters would be leaving, doesnt seem that way from this.
Filming has apparently started on Season 14, so it would seem that this isn't the last. Who knows though - all totally confusing lol
ER has been renewed through to summer 2008. Shane West has been cast in a pilot for a new series called "Supreme Courtships" I think for Fox. Info from "The Futon Critic". But it is only a pilot it may never get to a full series! It seems everyone thought that this would be ER's last year.
How come everyone is leaving? This is not fair :(

The bosses of ER are going to have to pull out all the stops to bring in some hot-shot actors to star if it is to survive. It has been going for 13 years now and was once one of the worlds most watched shows. however over the last couple of years it has lost is sparkle, with the loss of Romano, Dr Greene, Dr Ross, Carter and Kerry and now its rumoured that Luka and Ray are hanging up their stethoscopes. I don't think that ER will survive much longer, which is a shame but I don't think Abby, Pratt and Morris are enough to keep the viewers entertained.
The drama and tension of the Grand National was too much so hit the web and according to Tvguide.com both Luka and Abby (soon to be known as Luby)are leaving the show! Maura Tierney says she's almost sure to leave at end of next season. Good news bad news kind of deal, it also talks about Goran Visjnic being in a couple no more than 5 episodes next season:cheer: :cheer: . Is this the beginning of the end for ER? I think so but as Chloe O'Brian said there won't be anyone left to hold the viewers interest in the show.

Actually that has made my day, reading that scabby abby is off at the end of the series. She does my head in the way she chased after Carter then dated Luka to make Carter jelous then went back to Carter and back to Luka again. If Carter was to come back to County General she would dump Luka like a bag of coal. Pity they can't convince Luka and Ray to stay though.
It would seem that the producers are inclined to send Luka and Abby off into the sunset together so possible scenario Luka returning to Croatia to look after his dad for most of next series and a reunion with Abby in May 2008. Echoes of Carol and Doug. Just bought ER season 6 which is the one where Luka first appears and Carol leaves.
Some US websites have people calling for ER to be put out of its misery I'm not ready for that just yet.

neither am I but the characters they have in the show now just don't have the same conection with viewers as Ross, Green, Carter and Romano had. Luka was brought in as a replacement for George Clooney and he was one of the better choices. When ER first began Carter was just a wet behind the ears newbiee. But under Dr Green and Ross care and guidance he turned into a fine doctor. Then Pratt came along just as Dr Green was dying and so we saw Carter growing from student to mentor. We just don't see that interaction with the new cast.
Goran Visnjic was interviewed on US tv last night. The clip
