Yes i know they are not great but this year i don't think it's about talent but the diva judges. It is being pushed too much for Leona to win. Last year everyone had a fair chance. They are the underdogs and nowadays anyone can have a number 1 single and album and if they won it would piss Simon off.

Why should someone win just to piss Simon off? That's just wrong and unfair. Leona is actually the best singer in the competition. Even if you don't like her, she is! She deserves to win! Ben is the next best singer, so even he deserves to win.

Mainly because i think Ben and Leona are far too over rated. Fair enough Leona is good, but she's not that good. And she deff does not compare to Whitney. As for Ben, he just doesnt appeal to me. He just sound like a man with a rhaspy voice shouting. Ray....well, Ray is alright, but i thik he's just too...plastic. And swing just isn't my thing.

The MacDonald Brothers have good harmonies, and do sound good. I like how they go together, and love the ballads, but 500 Miles was amazing. :heart:

Thank god the McDonalds finally went! They weren't bad tonight, but compare it with Ben and Lionna's performance, and it showed them up so much. They should have gone weeks ago, to be honest.

I hope Ray goes next week, and leaves Ben and Lionna in the final. They're both really talented, and as Simon said a few weeks ago, a final with both of them would be really good!

As for the MacDonalds going, I haven't watched the results yet, but I am actaully stunned, yet very pleased :cheer: I honestly thought one of Simons would go, so that they'd all have 1 left in the contest. Glad I was proven wrong :D

On Radio Scotland this morning - much discussion about votes to the McDonald brothers that were not counted. Don't ask me how, why or where but consiracy theorists north of the border blame some telephone fault for not counting their votes until well after the show ended...

Watching Circque de celebrite last night, they played I Will always love you and my daughter thought it was Leona. She couldn't tell the difference. Leona does sound like all of them and I really hope she doesn't win.

Everyone is saying Ray is a one trick pony but over the last two weeks he has stayed away from Swing, great version of My way on saturday but again I will have to go for Ben to Win.. I think he is great!!!

Yeah, but let's face it, Eton Rd had a much bigger impact. Maybe the MacDonald Bros stayed in longer, but even Louis probably realises this is likely to be largely due to Scottish patriotism.

I'm glad Ray and Leona are in the final:cool:. I don't mind who wins really, but Leona is more talented. Someone on the board said Leona is 2D and I kind of agree. IMO Ray has more personality, and in the Mirror, Louis said Ray has a good work ethic and works harder than the others. :)

Ben was the much better singer on the night out of all 3 of them. He gave a great version of U2 song and there was no tears from him, just pure enjoyment of what he was doing.. I am disgusted he was knocked out :angry::angry:

I must admit i thought Ray and Ben did very well Leona wasn't that great her version of Somewhere Over The Rainbow was horrible, Shane Ward did that brillant last year in the final. I think Leona should have picked two better songs. I knew Ray would go through to the final when he sang the Liverpool song. The X Factor isn't as good as last year at all Leona has the advantage now that the song is by Kelly Clarkson and is suited to a girl's voice. I really hope there is shock and Ray wins. Simon must be happy as he as the winning act.

Whats special about Leona?? Without her voice she is nothing. She has no stage presence or personality like Ray does. Ray knows how to entertain the audience and you may think he isn't that good but look at Robbie Williams. He hasn't got a great voice but his personality and the way he entertains his audience has made him sell millions of records all over the world. The voice isn't everything, it's the whole package people are interested in.
If Leona wins I wouldn't buy her records and I'll put money on it that she won't make it big. All she sings is ballads with smoke around her ankles.
Ray has more chance of making a career out of it than Leona.
Even Simon admitted he doesn't think she'll win. He put a £1000 bet on with Sharon for Ben to win. Doesn't say much about her seeing as she is his act.

well leona has not improved from her first performance and we cant argue that ray has. ray has improved remarkablebly since his first show so ray goos luck to you and leona you still sound sound brill but exact same as on first show

Ray is a one trick pony and he will only ever sing covers of the swing classics - we want new and fresh talent on the scene as oppose to recycled songs. Leona has shown she can sing a variety of genres, but ray can only sing swing or turn songs into swing, he can barely sing and hes not even that attractive, its just shows how silly reality shows can be, as long as teenage girls think a contestant is "fit" they will win a contest, Shayne Ward, Matt Willis, Richard Fleeseman, etc etc...

Ben was robbed last week, but Leona is still a worthy contender for the title! I'm all behind Leona tonight! :cheer:

How was the song 'My Way' a swing song, he perfomed that, with so much emotion and so much of his heart and soul. He proved himself a worthy win that night, even the judges said so. And that's not been his only no-swing song which he has performed well.

I'm sure the teenage boy's are all voting for Leona coz they all think she's hot!!!!! and if they not, then they shouldn't moan when/if she doesn't win tonight. They both deserve to be in the final tonight, but my vote is for Ray.

Only reason Ray has 'good stage presence' is cause he's already used to the cameras, after being on Brookside (which I personally think he shouldn't have been allowed to do the show.. he's known already) No I'm not saying he shouldn't have got this far. Exactly. Leona has been amazing all the way through, she has a great voice which is what the show is all about, finding the next singing sensation. Leona is fresh and new, and she is perfect every week. Ray, however has good stage presence but he hasn't got a strong voice like Leona has, in fact, i don't think he can really sing at all. Ray has had his chance of fame on Brookside, he should just stick to acting in my opinion.

Leona was simply amazing last night and truelly deserved to win the show. She is one of the most talented singers I've heard in a long while and a breath of fresh air for the music industry. Her songs last nigth showed what a talented vocalist she is and she's capable and worthy of international fame, let's hope she is the first reality contestant to go global.

Leona definately deserved to win yesterday, even though i begun to prefer Ray through the show, as he had more emotion and personality in his songs. Shes a stereotypical singer, who has a big voice, and was bound to win. Ray and Westlife was great, and showed that Ray was having a great time, which i dont think you saw so much with Leona. But hey, shes got a great voice, so she deserved to win, i guess

Well done Leona as much as i wanted Ray to win she sang the winning song very well it really was suited to a women's voice. I guess there is no losers anyway since Ray also gets a record deal.
