Clifford is/was an old geeky school colleague of Roy's, who met him earlier this year at a school reunion. Clifford had even more of a fascination with trains than Roy does, and was a totally weird anorak. He threatened to ruin Roy's marriage to Hayley because he kept persuading Roy to go to weird train anorak things instead of spending more time with his wife. Was very boring. :thumbsdow

He was nothing to do with that big red dog that my daughter is so fascinated by.

Oh god i rememebr Clifferd. He was a tad weird. I agee about the storylines though also something half decent not stupid.

Not sure can't quite remember, it would be good to see more of them, you don't really see much of them unless they are in the background.

It is about time really...they can have some great comedy moments together but the Clifford stuff with Roy and Hayley was just boring...i think it's time producers give them a dramatic storyline to get their teeth stuck into..the stuff with Patience/Amy was brilliant...wasn't so keen on the storyline at first but i really liked it as it went on...Roy and Hayley are such wasted characters, it's about time they got given something to do!
