My day was ok, I went to the doctors though about my back and all they could do at the moment was give me pain killers.

What have you done or do you not know. Back pain is really bad, i remember mine after i fell down the stairs. I hope you feel better soon.

Thanks well 4 weeks ago i banged it really badly, as in I went to sit/jump on a bean bag and there wasnt much foamy stuff in so I banged by bum and now it still feels like my back is aching badly.

My day was great, not! I had a History test, and we had an 8 mark question on something we'd done about 10 bullet points on. I also had a mental block, which didn't help matters. This mouthy cow who it is abundantly clear that she will fail her GCSEs; got me in to trouble with the business teacher. She talks to you, so you tell her to leave you alone, then she yells at you to stop shouting at her. I wasn't even shouting, and apparently part of it was my fault.

Just put your head down and ignore her. Not long till christmas. Yourll be leaving school quicker than you think.

History tests dont mean that much, as long as you kearn it for the GCSE everything will be right. Try not to worry about it.

I'm not that worried, at least not until after christmas. Luckily, it takes that teacher ages to mark the tests. There weren't many that thought they'd done well, so oh well. I just don't want to get kicked out of it or anything.

At least it's the holidays, though, so you wouldn't have to catch up loads of work, if you couldn't get into school. I went shopping today, bought a new coat and a top, and saw this dress for £55. They'd better have something similar when my prom comes around.

I went out for lunch with my family and had a glass too many of wine. I came home and zonked out until about half 7! Now that sounds like my kind of afternoon!!

We have freezing fog down here, so didn't go anywhere, just stayed inside, in the warm. Plus the boys are all ill, so they spent most of their times under blankets, drinking hot chocolate and having calpol etc administered in regular doses!

I have had a good day, had half day today at school, i spent all my time out off lessons working for the school newsletter. We had a school Christmas concert but it was so frustrating as i wrote the press release but the person who took the photos skived off school and didn't bring the photos in so i couldn't attach the photos to the press release!

I spent all morning trying to get hold of him and we finally agreed that he put all the photos on a CD and drop it in to the local newspaper office.

This afternoon, i haven't been doing much. But tomorrow i am going to the cinema with my mates to watch Flushed Away. :D Oh and i got invited to this New Year's Eve party and it's fancy dress. :D

I broke up wednesday :) Then spent that afternoon in town and went cinema, although we missed our train and were stuck in town at like 10/11 at night - and its very scary!
Yesterday didn't really do much. A bit of coursework.
Today went to town, didn't get anything really, met up with some people, and froze.
2 words that sum up today - Bloody Freezing.

I went to tesco's to do the Christmas food shop this afternoon. 2 and 1/2 hours later I struggles out of the shop with enough food to feed the 5000. It then took 40 minutes to get out of the car park as the traffic lights had broken and there was about ten tesco staff trying to direct the lines of traffic. If it hadn't been so stressful it could have been comical as none of them had a clue what they were doing.

i went to some people i knows 40ths, and we had like a carol concert sort of thing which was very funny, i left about 2 30 in the morning, which is why i slept most of yesterday. I finally finished my christmas shopping and today were doing the final touches at the ASDA next to City beofre the game. My uncles coming round in a bit as well but we havent wrapped his pressies so my dad has left to go get wrapping paper.

it's been a really busy few days for me... on thursday i broke up from college and got my hair cut really short! i don't regret it but it's going to take a while to get used to! then i had a sleepover with my friend because she was going home for xmas. then on friday i had to work and it was pretty bad because i spent 6 hours recovering this section to walk in on saturday and find i a mess! i didn't even get a break :( then yesterday i found out they weren't going to keep me on and i'm kinda glad because it's really really bad at bhs, the time goes quickly but the pay is bad and you have to really be into customer service! but then i got a new phone because my old one was kaputt so yay! although it took me ages to work out how to get stuff onto it such as pics!!
merry christmas :)

Merry Christmas.

I tried BHS and they rejeted me like most other shops in Stockport. I saw my uncle yesterday and we gave him all our presents and then i spent time and energy going to see City only to find the Players didnt really show any effort at all. Cant believe its Christmas eve already.

Right, christmas ..... wish it felt like it.

I got a DVD. It was the new millionaire game, and although I sort of wanted it, I would of rather of had Stormbreaker.

My friend got me a cushion. I has a sneaking suspicion that it was from the disney store, but it was a whinnie the pooh cushion! I'm nearly 15, not 5!!

My aunt bought me a diary and a box of lindor chocolates. I never use the diary, and I wanted the dark lindors, but I got the original ones.

My aunt and uncle bought me some clothes. The hoodie looks as if it has half a flannel for a hood, and the t shirt really isn't my thing.

I'm only going to get something overly babyish from my other aunt tonight, when we go to my grans and get bored at the xmas supper. No one even got me any video tapes to record EastEnders and Doctor Who on. :(

Well, I got a new coat, a big french dictionary, geography textbook, book of french idioms, a book in german which is all good and stuff... but they don't provide you with much entertainment on xmas day...
i also got a new scarf, the american pie boxset (yay), the live lounge album and the pink album, but of which are ok but i'm not too keen on yet. i also got some beauty stuff, which i get every year and i really wish i could have had the money for it because it was worth £20 and i could have put it towards my phone which i bought on saturday.

My grans' evening party was better than I expected last night. My little cousins who are 1 and about 3 weeks old are so cute! I didn't even recognise the one who is a year old, as the last time I saw her was xmas 05. She was running off with my shoes and phone, and then started off with my grans' phone. Her Dad wouldn't give her any xmas log, so I was spoonfeeding some of mine to her. Nice job for my gran, though, as she has to wash the spoon - my cousin only had 2 mouthfulls.

And the other one is sooooo quiet. At least I got to hold him for longer than I ever did the other one lol.

I got some pictures of the older one, and their mother said I would have to see them more often :D

Not so happy today, was supposed to be getting my new computer, but obviously not; my Dad has taken off to see the darts, and doesn't get back until tomorrow, when I guess, he wont be bothered to go and get one. And it is my aunts' birthday on the 28th :(

we had a big family thing, we do it every year, theres always lots of quizzes and games. Then we do presents on boxing day. Its great to be back at home though. There not really a fan of the telly so i didnt even see pauiline fowler dying or any christmas specials, or any boxing day football. I couldnt believe it. It was a great christmas anyway. Now its all horrible and back to reality.

xmas eve we decorated our tree (we always leave it to the last min every year lol even if we plan on doing it earlier, sort of like a tradition!)

xmas day was mostly good, my gran, grandad and uncle came up and we did what we do every year. me and my sis got the kareoke (sp?) out and were singing at the top of our voices lol! though in the morning i collapsed which wasnt good lol especially as all the paramedic was worried about was whether i was hungover or pregnant which really annoyed me! my gran proceeded in blaming my hair straightners ( ) and my uncle blamed the vodka i had for dinner (even though i hadnt drunk anything beforehand!)

boxing day i went up my mums aunties house like we do every year. this year was even more boring than usual cos me and my sis were the only young people there (the next youngest person after us was my mum lol!) and my mums alki auntie was up there this year too so we werent even allowed to mention alcohol let alone drink any

anyway, overall i had a good xmas, hope everyone else did too! :)

Yesterday and today were awesome. Letitia Dean has just recently (like today) finished her run in Snow White at a theatre in my local town.
Went yesterday went to the matinee and evening performance, then went again today to the morning and matinee performance (matinee today was last performance there was no evening one) Had the best time. Got really into the panto, woooing and cheering. All the cast knew we were there and kept like winking, smiling, dancing and trhowing donughts at us :rotfl: Made friends with alot of the crew and workers there too!!!

Also to top it all off we met Letitia Dean today at the end of it all, she came out specially to us and said 'Thank God i caught you' had pictures and got hugs and kisses. And its just been an amazing 2 days   :cheer:

Well the past two days have been good and bad, Yesterday my new drum kit arrived (woo) but the free tom that was meant to come with didn't - grrr
The cymbals and extra pedal should have arrived yesterday too but didn't so i though oh well they should arrive today, but no. So now i'm a bit gutted, coz i've got this great new drum kit sitting my the dinning room, and i can't really play it yet, and i've got all my family coming over on Monday, who all wanted to see it and have a go, and it's in-complete! :crying:

But hey, i got a drum kit, so i'm still so happy, i've wanted my own kit for years :D

I've just braved the wind and the rain, the traffic and the trolley rage to venture into Morrisons and get some shopping. Daft thing was, everyone was queuing to get into the car park, but it was because they all wanted to park as close as possible to the entrance, rather than walking for 2 mins and getting slightly wet  Ah well, no more shopping till after the New Year.

On my sad note, my other guinea pig died yesterday, only a month after losing his brother :crying: Now to try and persuade hubby to either let us get 2 more or to see if we can do some gentle dog persuasion !

Dick and Dom are such cool names. The one thats we had two origionally but thebn one died so my sister wanted another one so it wouldnt be lonely. The one thats left is the one we bought after. My mum wouldnt get another one as it would be an awful long cycle you would have to keep replcing them. Even the Cat has had a go to try and scare it to death. It will sit on top of the cage and put its paws down to try and scratch it and the guine pig just looks as it as if to say, im here to stay mate.

It was Dick and Dom in the Rabbit Hutch (instead of bungalow :rotfl: )

We had the two boys, and after discussion with the place we got them, decided to not replace Dom as Dick would have probably have gone for it, because they were so well established already. My problem too, was this year was the first year they were housed outside for the colder months, because of Liam. Normally I would have brought them in but I didn't this year in case of little fingers . They said that it was more likely age than cold though, as I'd covered the cage with a blanket, and a waterproof cover, aswell as having hay filling it etc.

Hamsters are weird though, i think they depend on the pet shop as i had one that lasted about a day, and my mates lasted a day as well from the same petshop. We told them and they gave us another on that lasted a year, oh and my other hamster i had when i was little, houdini, got lost. Went into the sofa bed lining never top be seen again. :sob.

we keep ours inside outside my room. We did try outside, but the cage got in the way as its not very big.

Been up since 8 doing my coursework my eyes feel so sore after looking at the computer for so long, this is my break. Its a flaming nightmare its like the more i do i never seem close to finishing. After i have figured out the housing ages, ill be able to move on to analysis which i am dreading but at least then i am near to the end of the thing. Once finished got to start swatting on my revision for the other subjects.

05-01-2007, 18:41
I have had the best day in a long time, although it started off with my Dad's laptop freezing on me and not letting me view or post on the forums. My desktop net is finally working, although we have probably added £20 to the phone bill in the process of trying to get it to work. Never would have thought that any day in which I had to do invoicing would turn out to be good! Also found out that I am having a birthday party/tea, although going bowling is my only party option, and only with 2 people, because my computer is my birthday and christmas presents. The only problem is that the people I want to invite aren't online, and one of them possesses a strong tendency to book herself weeks in advance to go shopping with her sister, or something.

When was it your Birthday Kim, anyway Happy birthday for when it was.

I had good day yesterday, went Laptop shopping, i think im going to save up a bit more and get a really god one that will last. I quite like the look of the small notebook ones. I think that they look really smart. Today, im hopeing will be the final day on my coursework. Its got top be in on Monday so now im beyond freaking out stage. I just need to write a conclusion and put in a file with a title page. Then its time to do all other homework due when i go back to college on Monday. Im really ready to go back now. Officially the end of the holidays and im bored at home now. I need to go bak and get real motivation for doing my exams.

Kim

It's on the 13th. Whenever I have a joint present, I always get it before my birthday. I don't want to go back; not bored, because I had to wait over a week and get bored waiting for the internet on my computer. Must do the rest of my Geography homework, although I can't be bothered, because we have to research. I have my English Monologue on Wednesday, and although I've memorised it, I know I'm going to mess it up and make a right fool out of myself.

Katy
07-01-2007, 11:55
I loved research homework as i knew it was the only type i would get correct lol, im listening to the FA cup game later and now i am putting all my coursework in a file and doing the title page. Then i have tro prepare myself for college tomorrow.

Today has been crap been doing coursework and that :(

Yesterday was good though, went to see Guys and Dolls again, but nigel wasn't in it as he was ill, so that was a bit gutting but he can't help it bless him. Great show, and met loads of the cast afterwards which was nice. They are all so lovely and really chatty - and met Bonnie Langford again  And got pictures this time! And plus seeing everyone again was nice :p
But then i got stuck in Birmingham new street station for about 2 1/2 hours as both trains were cancelled  so i had to get this other train and then swap over and stuff, was meant to be home about 7.30 didn't get back until about 10 ish.

I know what you all mean about doing more work at school - I never want to break up because I know it'll mean me not doing any work, other than homework/coursework. I like to revise for exams well in advance, and I convince myself every holiday that I will do some revision, but always leave it until 2 days before we go back.

Today I have spent too long on the computer (again) but I only got the internet in my room two days ago after waiting 8 days for it. I come on in the morning, so I can just catch up on here, but then either of my best mates sign in and I can't get away. I've also watched a movie and done some revision, finding out in the process that Geography and Biology on the same day is not a smart idea.

Kim
08-01-2007, 11:50
I've just spent the morning internetless, by the looks of it, but I did go shopping, so I only realised after turning on the computer upon my return. Later I've still got to finish my Geography homework, and really should do some revision. Also need my hair cut before I go back to school, and I'm not keen on going offline incase I find myself internetless once again.

well, i had my first day back today :( it was going okayish until geography and it went downhill from thereon in. we got our mocks back and i got a B which i was really upset about, and then when i looked at the mark scheme i would never have thought of writing any of the things that were on it, so i don't know what to go really... i mean a B is good but i want an A! and no revision seems to be going in anymore.
then the opticians rang saying my glasses were ready, but we got them home and they've had to go back because there's something wrong with the lense :( and then i'm going to kick n tone later and that's new so it should be fun!

It could be worse you could be me, got a D in the Exam Resit the thing and get an E on the resit !!!!! That would only happen to me.

Revsion for me isnt happening either. Nothing is sinking in. Im tryin bright colours now see if that helps.

CASE STUDIES !!!!!! I even have them on different coloured post it notes round the house.

One hint my friend told me when I took my nursing exam, was to remember important things as objects in a story - ie for me I had to remember the organs of the body so heart was a cup of coffee, the intestines were a bag of string etc. So you basically remeber the story - you can walk yourself through your house ie routine of getting up etc - hope that makes sense! :D

Good luck to you all with your revision x

Well, I'm back to school tomorrow - not looking forward. The whole of year 10 has appointments with the head soon, and we get a number between -3 and +3 to show how well we are doing, 0 being what they would expect from us. He says he will never congratulate us for being brainy, only for exceeding targets. That means I need A*'s and A's, or he has a go. It really annoys me because to exceed my target in Geography, I need A*, which is never going to happen. And in some of the subjects that I'm predicted lower than the rest, I feel they are actually some of my strongest subjects.

We are getting ISA results, Science module results and I think English SAT results, which have been remarked twice, so they must be bad! The grids totally confused me in the modules, so I don't want anything to do with them.

Today my internet stopped working for a time, I went shopping with my Mum and one of the dinnerladies from my primary school confused me for a girl who is over a year younger than me - again. She thinks we are identical twins, but we don't look anything like each other, we only have the same disability. I also had my hair cut, and I don't know how I was ever obsessed with having long hair.

Why do you want to get congratulated for exceeding your targets? As long as you get decent grades at the end of it, then dont worry about 1 person saying "Well Done" to you, when you're only 1/4 into the course.

He's the type that's really patronising, if you only get what they think you're getting he moans at you, saying that you wouldn't find a school that is better at teaching, so you better pull your socks up, or something.

I've had a bad day today. First my taxi driver thought I wasn't back until tomorrow, so I could have had another day off, because my Mum gave me the choice. I wish I did stay home now, my pastoral support person was in, and she wanted me to do a rehearsal of my English Monologue to her. I couldn't do it at all, I forgot everything I was supposed to say, sounded rubbish, didn't even manage to do 1 paragraph. I got my business test back and I got an A* and 96%, which was the only thing that happened. This boy that sits on the row in front of me spent most of the lesson saying that I'm going to end up with 50-year-olds when I'm 24.

i agree, my gcse pe teacher said that me and my friend would be lucky if we got a D (and my friend was brill at sports!) but we proved her wrong and both got B's, on results day we really wanted to shove the bit of paper in her face lol! same with my performing arts teacher last year, he said i would fail the retake of my exam if he didnt help me prepare for it, i did it all without even speaking to him once about it and got 100%! i was so annoyed on results day cos he wasnt there! so yeh if you know you can do it, dont listen to what the teachers say, just prove them wrong next year in your exams! :)

The arts one was better than the Science the Science paper was horrible. I was so bored as i was being isolated as i couldnt speak to anyone who had done the paper in the morning as my two exams clashed so there was 2 of us in this room for an hour and a half bored out our brains.

i had to be isolated in the summer exams of year 12 cos my maths and politics exams clashed. luckily there were about 12 of us so it wasnt too bad. but cos a male teacher was supervising us he could let all the boys go to the loo cos he could take them but when i wanted to go he said he had to get a female teacher (which is understandable) but i waited half an hour and no female teacher came and my exam was about to start so the male teacher was like erm well ill have to take you erm ill just wait outside make sure you dont speak to anyone lol!

i remember my leaving book, i used the same book for when i left junior school, and my 2 schools after gcses and alevels cos the book was really big and the pages were split into different colours so i had a differnt section for each school. i look back over it sometimes and some of the messages in there are really nice, it makes me miss the people i havent seen since. also its funny reading the messages from the people ive known all through school and seeing how their messages have changed from when we left each different school lol! also getting our shirts signed, do other schools do this?

im so tired, ive hardly had any sleep for the past 6 days so definitely going to have an early night tonight (i know ive said this since saturday lol but its definitely going to happen today!)

on monday, me and my friends went to the club on campus cos it was free entry night and it was a really good night. one of my housemates got so drunk he had no idea what he was doing, every 2 seconds he was grabbing me round the neck to hug me and almost strangling me in the process! we have so many funny pictures lol! and he tried to go into the girls toilets and the bouncer literally picked him up and threw him out lol! but we ended up leaving early cos 2 of my friends had a huge fight (we went with 5 of us but only me and my drunk housemate walked home together, the others all left separately at various different times!). then when we got back they found out the picnic bench we stole on friday (i think it was friday anyway) had been stolen so we went to find it again and in the process also got about 4 other benches lol and thought it would be a good idea to sleep outside on them. then somehow us sitting out there turned into a party and i meet loads of people who i now cant remember and it was the first time we spoke to our neighbours (which is sort of bad seeing as weve been living there 4 months lol!) but then security came and told us off for the music. the only downside of the night was that my friend threw up in the sink which still had our plates and glasses and stuff in which were hadnt washed up before we went out!

yesterday my mum took me out for lunch which was nice and i wanted an early night but someone in my friends house is dropping out of his course and it was his last night last night so we went out around the campus bars

today i havent really done much, except a bit of work, and im happy cos for once our kitchen is really nice and clean and we all helped to tidy it

I was like that because of the grids with my modules, then they said they were reading out the total marks out of 50 to the class, because no one could know what grade you got. So that made it worse, especially because when they gave out the SAT results they messed it up and said I got a 5 when I got a 7 and everyone was talking about it for months.

What exam is that, Katy? I'm not having such a good day; my friends have taken off to a massive shopping centre without me, and I'm the one with money to spend, because of it being my birthday last week. My auntie is also here, showing off my cousin's birthday presents, and they're better than what I got :(

Well today i've done nothing, but yesterday i went to Manchester for the day shopping blew £200 on clothes and dvds. But then the best bit was i went to see Mamma Mia, it was amazing, I didn't really have a clue what it was about before it started but oh my it was brilliant. It was so funny and i had sore hands from clapping at the end, everyone got up and danced to last 3 songs. They had 22 Abba songs which was just brilliant how they fitted them. I was even a little bit naughty and recorded the last song on my phone even though you weren't ment to but i needed a little memory of the day.

Katy
21-01-2007, 18:08
was that at the palace, if it was it was brilliant wasnt it. I went a few weeks ago and throughly enjoyed myself, i dont really like Abba but it was a lot better seeing the songs around a story, my favourite was Honey Honey.

Yeah it was!!!! I loved it, the last bit was great when they sang the last 3 songs and everyone got up and danced, I've grown up on Abba songs as my mum loved them, i though Dancing Queen was good in the middle of the show when the three older women were in the bedroom they had the hair dryers and combs to sing into and also the scene on the beach area when they sand Does Your Mother Know.

Well, that was certainly an entertaining meal. It was a bit of a free for all when all the plates came out, so my Dad made them bring a chicken over to my Mum. Then this gobby woman starts, saying that some other person should have it, and tells him to go and smack my Mum. She thought she owned the place, just because it was her husband's birthday. I played pool with my dad's friend's son after the meal, and he went absolutely loony with it, knocked the cue ball off of the table about three times. He even managed to knock the money off that someone had left there, to reserve the table. So he found the 20p, but we couldn't find the 50, then he had a ball go down one of the pockets, and I could swear I heard the 50p go down with it lol!

on saturday i went trampolining for 3hrs in the afternoon which was good fun, i havent been trampolining properly in ages! but now ive got 2 huge bruises on my hips! :( yesterday i had a netball match at 9.30am, im not sure whos stupid idea it is to have netball matches that early on a sunday, especially when its as cold as it was yesterday! we can finally use our upstairs toilet again cos after me and 2 of my housemates just using the downstairs one all weekend cos we didnt wanna put our hand down the toilet to get the loo roll out, one of my other housemates came back after being at home for the weekend and the first thing he did was take the loo roll out!

today im really tired as i didnt go to bed til about 4am this morning, which im annoyed about cos i wanted to go early and i also had work i needed to do (which i didnt manage to get done) but one of my housemates got really really drunk and was falling over everywhere and hitting his head on the walls/oven etc and kept thinking it was a good idea to go outside and walk scarily close to the ditch! so we had to stay up with him in case he hurt himself! also yesterday we went to the bar quiz again and managed to come 2nd this time lol! we won 2 bottles of wine! :D

Damn controlled coursework! I knew it was going to mess me up as it's already done it in English. Science is even worse; got 20/34 in my ISA. No one did that well, so we had the teacher lecturing us over loosing marks on graphs and tables and how we did it (which would be fine if I actually lost some on that part.) We're not allowed the papers back, nor are we allowed to be told common errors, so I have to jump about 2 grades by myself by next week  Kind of takes the shine off of my A* and A that I got in my modules.

My maths teacher has now taken to smirking at me, 'cause he thinks I'm going to get all the answers wrong, and it is ******* me off. He also set homework even though he set some on Friday

Katy
22-01-2007, 19:12

Good luck Katy. I've just been watching EastEnders and done a bit of How Science Works revision (all practical terms and stuff on the new syllabus, which I hope will actually come up in my ISA, 'cause last time it was banging on about astronauts which weren't covered in the book endorsed by the exam board.) I know well today I now have to finish one of my english pieces for tomorrow! I'll never get it done.

Today I got my results for an RE test we had without warning, and I got an A*. I'm so pleased because it was exam style and I hadn't written everything I was going to write when we had to stop. I was like that, couldn't focus either, 'cause I had a Maths test the next day, so I didn't want to do badly as my maths teacher hated and still hates me enough, anyway.

Did you get your english done, Abbie?

I've done my Media homework; had to do it on the computer, 'cause I finished my book today, and my teacher wouldn't go to get some more books from another teacher, and he had run out.

Well I had a double lesson today and we were working on one piece I made notes on it and stuff and re wrote some parts as well what Im doing right now is making those changes on the word document of my coursework as I thought in class there was no point in writing it out if I could do this which is quicker.

I haven't had a very good day, but it was funny in registration when this boy decided he wasn't going to wait until he got his new phone to deliberately break his old one by continuously throwing it onto the floor, then it got confiscated!

Katy
25-01-2007, 19:20
lol, i loved it when teachers conphiscated phones. we had one who took this lads off him and then it rang and he couldnt work out how to turn it off, it was so funny. And my form teachers motto was a phone went of and the messages would be read to the entire class.

well my day was alright. had lessons and they went well but i'm kinda shocked because someone got stabbed on the bus to college, which luckilyi wasn't on, but it's still scary because they went to my college, and i don't like to think of peopke carrying knives at college.
then we got a phone call back from dell saying we needed a new hard drive, so i'm kind of annoyed as yesterday they said we would do a reset today so lat night i backed everything up, when i would have had all weekend to do it!

Katy
25-01-2007, 19:31
blimey thats a bit dramatic, we had a trauma at college today as well, a car flipped onto its roof,. police there and everything, dont know who it was though. The knife things a bit scary though.

Researching into holidays, we were going to go Spain, but i cant afford it and neither can my mate so we are looking a Newquay or Dublin as an alternative.

Pressure from school oh tell me about it. I am meant to have like homework in for tomorrow but i haven't been able to do it because i've spend every waking minute i can doing this bleeding maths coursework that is due in like now. I have about 3 english essays outstanding, also some citizenship essay to write, a drama assesment to prepare for, a product to finish in Textiles - and to complete all theory work with it, french mocks and exmas to revise for, french speaking to practise - along with question i need to answer,

Oh and along all that i have auditions to organise, lines to learn, a show to prepare for (8 days), a bedroom to tidy, 2 dance rountines to learn, 3 RAD ballet syallbus books to copy out, a bedroom to tidy oh and to have a life

Today was pretty poop. School - pants, had a huge arguement with friend over her and MY coursework, spend the afternoon doing maths coursework, then had to learn lines and dances for show, i mucked up the ending. And now i am sitting here attempting to finish my maths coursework.

I have had enough of school. I did my English Monologue today and I only did it in front of my teacher, but I still managed to speak too quickly, forget things and make it obvious, miss parts out and come out of character. Plus my maths teacher had taken to annoying me again, then treated me like a baby by giving me a sheet with shapes on because I couldn't draw them to his satisfaction, and it was just the way he put glue on it, then came over and plonked it in my book. And said I had better get a ruler you could read the numbers on, but I can read them!

I just got accepted onto a Law Open Day at Oxford Uni in March! My Head of Year was asked to nominated 2 Year 12's for the course, as our school has a good amount of people get into Oxbridge, and she nominated me and another girl who wants to do a Law Degree. I just got an email accepting me onto the course, so i'm well pleased!

Its all about the Law Course at Oxford, and teaches you what kind of thing you need to do to get accepted onto any Law course. Interview techniques, work experience etc, and they give you feedback at the end about what you can do to improve personally, and improve your chances of getting into Law, and into Oxford as well. It sounds like a good one to me.

I had parents evening last night, and that was *actually* good as well! 2 of my teachers said that getting an A is "within my reach". Generally, they said that with a bit of extra work and organisation, getting an AABB in my AS levels is possible. But  If i got that, i would actually faint and die, i swear it!! I'm aiming to get BBBB- any A and i'd faint!

Had to go to the youth group i help at, tonight. The kids were bad... Played this mental game with this Frisbee that has lights on, that you use in the dark- Was mad!

I dont use this thread much, and i think i went a bit OTT tonight, but meh, a lot has happened this week, lol!

I have just checked my UCAS and i have another offer, Lancaster but i need AAB, so i think i might reject that one and stick with Bangor.

We are having a burns night at the club tonight, where we have to scottish dance so it should be a laugh.

Congratulations Abi! :)

I've had a very busy few days, been helping out at a panto. They were doing Sleeping Beauty and i was helping backstage. It's been great fun! I was just moving props on and off stage really and i had to hide under a table and put the spinning wheel up on the stage!

Also, i found out the sixthformer who put posters up of me around the school! :)

What did the posters say dave? Was it about your love of ladies' clothes?

Congratulations Abi - you clever old bean! :)

I have had a good week, got a new child in my class, who seems to be completely 'normal' though its only been a couple of days, so give him time, and once he has mixed with the rest of the class, Im sure he'll fit in nicely, ie become a headcase! :rotfl:

Also got observed by the boss, and school advisor on Wednesday, and was told I delivered 'an outstanding' lesson!! Downing a bottle of Covonia prior to the lesson, must have done the trick!

Also went on a shopping spree yesterday with best buds...so a happy, if not poorer for it, bunny:)

No nothing to do with ladies clothes lol! :D But i went hiking with the school and a really cheesy picture was taken of me, and it was put on the school computer along with the other photos of the hike. But this kid in sixthform decided he would print off a picture of my really cheesy picture and put the words "Kid of The Week" on the poster. He then stuck them up around the school and everyone kept shouting that i was Kid of The Week to me, but it wasn't just for a week, the posters were stuck up for months and i never found out who did it until yesterday.

We have pictures up every week, someone has bound to have got drunk on the weekend and then posters get posted all round college. Its a bit odd when there isnt posters any more.

I was very annoyed went into College at 9 o clock this morning and my lesson was cancelled Grr. The second time in two weeks. I was gutted but it did mean i could start my coursework. Also went to the match yesterday which was great as City actually scored and won, which makes a change. Tonight i am going to chill out after a bit of a hectic weekend and catch up on some reading that i need to do. Apparnetly if i dont read we will all fail according to the teacher.

We dissected a pig's lungs and voice box in Biology today. It was really good, although I smell of old blood now. Felt a bit wierd having to cut all of the veins/arteries out, removing what was left of the oesopagus and cutting down the trachea. Next week we are doing a fish's gills and swim bladder.

I felt sick just reading that, I dread to think how you felt! I'm surprised I don't have a headache after we were all discussing 0 and this boy said it was 2007 years ago, but then we had BC. So I told the boy that we are now in Ano Domini, or after death, but he took to screaming that it's AC, after christ

Also at lunchtime I was rather annoyed when a sixthformer came into the toilets and told a gang of year 11's to get out, because they obviously had no business in there. So one of the year 11's must have recognised me, because in her rage she splashed water in front of me, and not in front of the sixth former. My mate had a go at her in the dinner hall the other week, because she couldn't hear us speaking, so that was why. I almost slipped over on the way out, so was not impressed.
