Shayne won because he was a good looking lad who went down well with the girls, he was a good singer granted but Journey South and Andy were original, Shayne reminds me far too much of an English Justin Timberlake he's not unique in his own right but well done to him, I still say Journey South should have won.

If JS or Andy were the right people to win then why didnt people vote? Because thye werent as popular. I think Shayne was the only one who proved that he can sing a variety of songs. No one else on the show proved they could do this. (To a high standard anyway!) I think he appealed to the widest range of audiences as well. Its not only teen girls who like him, a lot more people do. but they just assume because he's young, has a good imange and is a bloke than its teen girls who he apeals to.

Well one could say that they didn't get as many votes because people assumed that as they were sooooo good, that they wouldn't need their votes......not that i'm opinionated or anything.....:p
