MAN-EATER Pat Evans is to have another fling with a married bloke - car dealer Patrick Trueman.

The EastEnders pair get together in the New Year for several weeks before his wife Yolande finds out.

A show insider said last night: "After Frank and Roy, Pat obviously can't resist any bloke who runs the car lot." This week, Pat, played by Pam St Clement, 62, will jump into bed with ex-husband Frank Butcher.

She also had a fling with him when he was married to Queen Vic landlady Peggy Mitchell.

This is total rubbish. Stupid, stupid storyline (if it is true). Patrick would not cheat on Yolende and Pat would not go with Patrick as she knows he is married and she knows Yolende. I know she had an affair with Frank but that was different as they had history together, this seems so random.

Agree with Jo (and others). This sounds on paper a pathetic storyline. What was the point of the Honey stuff is this is going to happen? Also this is so out of character for Pat. She's put those days well and truly behind her now, so why drag them up once again, changing a character for the sake of a plot, again! :angry:

It's typical EE really. Just when they seem to have come up with a great idea to put Pat and the Wicks household back into the forefront of the Square by adding new additions, they threaten to sabotage their ideas with this sort of a storyline. I just hope they are testing the water with this, not going ahead with it.

I would try to cling on to the hope that this is not true as The Mirror has gotten things wrong regarding soaps (Zoe Lucker to join Corrie, for example), but going on recent experience with EE, this is just the type of storyline that they would do. A storyline that ruins yet more established characters, a storyline that is going to be boring and badly written. Pat has not had a man since Roy, and then just cause she gets it on with Frank (who she has history with), she is going to jump in to bed with Patrick just cause he runs the car lot! :rolleyes:

It is one step forward and about 100 back with EE. New fresh characters are coming in to try and wash away the last few crappy years of EE yet they are going to ruin it all by this rubbish. I say sack the writers, clear the whole lot of them out (excluding SP and TJ) and then sack the producers and start again. Cheers Kate Harwood, just when I was starting to see some improvement in EE, you have to go and ruin it all with this. :mad:

I do not even think it is possible,, Pat is not about to mess around with Patrick,, even EE is not that desperate to bungle something like that up.. nah it aint gonna happen,, Yolande and Pat are friends I do not think Pat is going to step over that line,,, nah nah nah ain't gonna happen ..just a rumor I am sure. Now isn't Frank married to his 100th wife ?? if he is then Pat indeed slept with a married man ...
