Hollyoaks Spoilers 4th - 8th April 2016

Over on Hollyoaks, Lindsey Roscoe is forced to go on the run when she's finally exposed as the evil Gloved Hand Killer who haunted the wards of Dee Valley Hospital.

Lindsey (Sophie Austin) has managed to avoid being caught out for over a year now, but her luck runs out when her former friend Mercedes McQueen cracks the case and accuses her of being the culprit.

As Lindsey panics, she considers doing a runner from the village with Joe (Ayden Callaghan) by her side - but Mercedes looks set to thwart her plans when she secretly tips off Joe about what his beloved girlfriend is really capable of.

Joe isn't sure what to believe after hearing what Mercedes has to say, but Lindsey quickly realises that he's starting to doubt her. Knowing she doesn't have much time to waste, Lindsey takes drastic action by hitting him over the head with a vase and snatching JJ.

Deciding to make a quick getaway from the village, Lindsey hitches a lift in the next passing car - which just happens to be driven by returnee Frankie Osborne (Helen Pearson).

Lindsey realises she can use this coincidence to her advantage, so she strikes again with another very sinister act by holding Frankie hostage and blackmailing Esther Bloom (Jazmine Franks) into helping her.

Ruthless Lindsey warns that she'll kill Frankie unless Esther gets her a passport so that she can flee from the country.

Esther is left with no choice but to help Lindsey with her getaway attempt, but will Frankie survive the ordeal? And will Lindsey decide to change her plans when fellow serial killer Silas Blissett (Jeff Rawle) offers out the hand of friendship?

Monday

Lindsey is annoyed by Esther, Tegan and Celine's protest to 'Free Kim', while Esther talks secretly to Mercedes about their discovery. Mercedes goes to speak to Cindy, who is shocked that Mercedes thinks Lindsey is the killer. Lindsey continues to frame Kim and gives Esther a keep-sake box apparently belonging to her sister. Esther is horrified by a confession letter from 'Kim' that she conveniently finds inside.


Later, Freddie overhears Lindsey and Mercedes joking about who Lindsey's baby daddy is. He breaks into Lindsey's office for more answers while Mercedes, Lindsey and Cindy get ready for a night out. However, when Mercedes finds more evidence against Lindsey, the cogs start turning and she accuses Lindsey of being the hospital killer.


Meanwhile, Darren is hiding stacks of bank notes in a drawer at the garage. Nancy finds a bag of cash in the glove compartment of his car and accuses him of gambling again. He lies that a customer left it behind, so she demands that they take it to the police.


Joe soon offers to help Darren get the money back for half the cash. Darren agrees, but Nancy catches them both with the winnings. Joe covers that the money is all his and he's spending some of it on an engagement ring for Lindsey, which gets him thinking. He tells Darren that he wants to marry Lindsey.


Elsewhere, Tegan and Celine continue to fight for Liam's attention. They both set up dates with him, but end up bumping into each other at The Dog.


Tuesday

Mercedes reels off the evidence against Lindsey. How will Lindsey react?


Later, Joe practices his proposal on Darren, but Freddie walks in. Joe prepares a romantic setting for his proposal, unaware that he's being watched by a haunted Lindsey who is armed with her kill kit…


Meanwhile, Esther shows Kim the confession letter and tells Kim that Lindsey thinks she's guilty. Kim's world crumbles as Lindsey's betrayal sinks in.


Elsewhere, Tegan and Celine plan to get their own back on Liam and steal his clothes while he's in the hot tub.


Wednesday

Lindsey is stunned by Joe's shock proposal. She agrees to marry Joe, as long as they leave Hollyoaks now.


Soon afterwards, Mercedes rushes out of the McQueens' to tell Joe about her suspicions. She gets to the Roscoes' as he's packing to go away with Lindsey, but Joe doesn't know whether to believe Mercedes's claims.


Despite Joe carrying on as normal, Lindsey realises that he is on to her. She manages to escape by hitting Joe over the head with a vase and races to the garage to see Freddie. Mercedes comes back for Joe and finds him on the floor after Lindsey's attack, but Lindsey has taken JJ.


Needing to make an escape, Lindsey hitches a lift in the next passing car, which is being driven by Frankie!


Meanwhile, Tegan and Celine head back to the McQueens' after their conquest over Liam. The police later turn up at the McQueens' to question Tegan and Celine about Liam's stolen clothes. However, it turns out the fake police officer is actually Liam's brother, Jesse - closely followed by their other brother Adam.


Thursday

The Osbornes are waiting for Frankie to return. However, Frankie's hire van has been abandoned with faint cries just about audible from inside.


Esther has been cancelling Frankie's calls. When she tries to call her back, it's Lindsey's voice on the other end of the line.


Soon afterwards, Esther goes to meet Lindsey in a car park. Lindsey reveals a tied-up Frankie in the back of the van and tells Esther to help her, otherwise she'll kill Frankie.


Friday

Esther is back at the boarding house, trying to hide the fact that Frankie is in danger. She then goes to steal Kath's passport so Lindsey can use it to escape. Soon afterwards, Lindsey drags Frankie through the undergrowth to meet Esther. Esther gives Lindsey the passport, but will Frankie be okay?


Later, Lindsey has disguises herself and tries to walk confidentially through the airport, surrounded by police. But will she change her plans when Silas makes an appearance?


Meanwhile, Simone is still giving Louis the silent treatment over Joanne. Zack finds out that it's Fake Lisa's real birthday and decorates the tugboat with birthday paraphernalia. She's grateful but is sad that her whole life is one big secret, which prompts Zack to tell her that he loves her.


Later, Cindy overhears Louis confiding in Dirk that he thinks his marriage is over. She goes to see Simone who, in an effort to prove that her marriage is fine, invites Cindy and Dirk over for dinner. However, it ends with Simone and Louis in a heated row throwing plates of food at each other.
