Neighbours producer Jason Herbison has revealed that another of Brad's children could be making an appearance in the future.

Long-term fans will know that Brad fathered a son Ned with Natalie Imbruglia's character Beth after the pair left Ramsay Street back in 1993.

Viewers are currently being introduced to Brad's youngest child Piper, who has been in Canada for the last few years, and it seems that Ned could follow in her footsteps eventually.

When asked if there are any plans to bring in Ned, Herbison told Inside Soap: "It's possible. He is a character we are keeping in reserve. Can anybody help get Natalie Imbruglia back?"

Herbison also explained why it has taken so long to cast Piper, admitting that he has been delaying her introduction deliberately.

"There is a classic soap explanation for that. We needed to keep Piper in reserve to give Brad and Terese a second chapter, should Josh and Imogen leave," he explained.

"The writers see her as an anti-Imogen. She goes out of her way to be different from the rest of the family."

Speaking about the show's plans for Christmas, Herbison teased: "We have life-and-death situations for both our UK and Australian cliffhangers this year.

"Paul's life will also change in a big way by the end of the year."

Neighbours bosses are finally bringing Brad Willis's son Ned to Ramsay Street.

23-year-old actor Ben Hall has been cast in the role of Ned, who'll arrive in Erinsborough next month.

Ned has never appeared on our screens until now, as Brad fathered him with his ex-wife Beth Brennan after they left the Street in the '90s.

Beth was famously played by soap star-turned-singer Natalie Imbruglia between 1992 and 1994.

Show chiefs are keeping tight-lipped about the storylines planned for Ned, but Hall has already hinted that it may not be the happiest of family reunions.

"Ned is a very complex character, he can be quite manipulative, but he has had a bit to deal with and it's really interesting how his storyline pans out," he said.

Neighbours will air Ned's first scenes on Wednesday, April 6.

Neighbours fans get finally get a proper look at Ned Willis, who will hit our screens early next month.

Ben Hall has been cast as Ned - Brad's oldest son who he fathered with his ex-wife Beth Brennan after they left the Street in the '90s. Beth was famously played by singer Natalie Imbruglia between 1992 and 1994.

Although he's often mentioned, Ned has never set foot on Ramsay Street before, but he will turn up in the aftermath of the devastating explosion at Lassiters Hotel.

Brad and Ned are reunited

Ned will first be seen trying to evacuate a confused Doug from the dangerous building, having turned up at his grandfather's request for a family reconciliation.

But it may not be the happy family reunion that viewers are expecting, as things are very awkward indeed between Ned and Brad.

Brad initially feels overwhelmed to see his oldest child on such a dreadful day, but the two men quickly realise that they don't know each other at all anymore.

To make matters worse, Brad's partner Lauren Turner immediately becomes suspicious of the newcomer after spotting a distinctive tattoo on Ned's chest.

With Imogen and Piper reconnecting with Ned, Brad asks Ned to stay in Erinsborough on a permanent basis - a suggestion that naturally doesn't go down too well with Lauren. Is Ned all he seems?

Hall previously said that Ned "is a very complex character", adding: "He can be quite manipulative, but he has had a bit to deal with and it's really interesting how his storyline pans out."

Neighbours newcomer Ned Willis will set tongues wagging by developing feelings for someone very surprising.

Ben Hall, who plays Ned, has dropped the sneaky hint in his first interview about the role ahead of his on-screen debut today (April 6).

Ned is the son of Brad Willis but has never appeared on screen until now, as Brad fathered him with his ex-wife Beth Brennan after they left the Street together in the '90s. Beth was famously played by actress-turned-singer Natalie Imbruglia.

Speaking about what's in store for his character, Hall told Neighbours' official website: "Ned actually has some feelings for someone on Ramsay Street, but I don't think anyone will suspect who it is. It's very risqué!

Ned's arrival comes just as the Willis family are grieving for the tragic loss of Josh, who was the first character to be killed off in Neighbours' Hotel Death Trap storyline this week.

Brad can't believe his eyes when he sees that his son is in the area, but all becomes clear when it's revealed that Ned's grandfather Doug has invited him in the hope of achieving a family reconciliation.

Brad is overcome with emotion when he sees Ned.

Hall commented: "Ned left with his mother Beth almost 20 years ago after her and Brad split up. They took off to Sydney and then Ned was later sent to Darwin to live with his Nan and Pop. Doug and Ned have a bit of a history, there's some stuff that's gone on.

"When Brad and Ned get back together, there's a bit of tension and a few things left for them to sort out. I'm pretty sure Ned doesn't know whether they'll get along, but he's definitely going to try.

"He comes back with the right intentions, but whether he will succeed is another thing entirely. It's a lot of pain to get over, it's a lot of hurt to be left by your father. To suddenly try and reconcile after 20 years is not going to be easy!"

Neighbours airs Ned's first scenes today (April 6) at 1.45pm and 5.30pm on Channel 5.

The Lassiters explosion has caused much devastation to the community of Erinsborough but for three locals it marks a turning point in their lives as they head in unexpected directions and forge new paths, especially in the case of Ned Willis.
Newly arrived in town, Ned has been urged to stick around by his father Brad in the hope of finding something positive after the deaths of Josh and Doug.
Little does Brad (Kip Gamblin) know, his eldest son is hiding secrets of a dark past. He bears a distinctive tattoo on his chest that Lauren (Kate Kendall) recognises as being linked to a gang though Ned (Ben Hall) denies he’s involved. When Pam (Sue Jones) arrives to organise Doug’s (Terence Donovan) cremation she is also uneasy around Ned because he’d hurt her in the past but she kept quiet about it, at Doug’s insistence.
Lauren finds out that Ned broke into Doug and Pam’s home in Darwin and while Ned avoids telling Brad the truth so that he can prove himself before revealing his past, Brad knows something’s up. Ned opens up and Brad realises just how much Ned has suffered without his father around. Later Lauren urges Pam to give Ned a second chance and she breaks down, revealing she was only harsh towards Ned because of her guilt over Doug’s death.
As Pam and Ned start to reconnect, Pam worries that Ned resents Brad for abandoning him to start a new family with Terese (Rebekah Elmaloglou). While Ned says he’s forgiven Brad so that he can move on it’s clear that is not how he truly feels.
Ned’s half-sister Paige (Olympia Valance), however, has found her own way of channelling her emotions, remaining at the hospital bed of “John Doe” (Andrew Morley), the mystery man who rescued her from the explosion.
She is determined to find out who he is and spots her first clue. It’s a a business card from Fizgerald Motors with a smudged phone number on it. Tyler (Travis Burns) helps Paige in her quest and rings around his customers for her but the only unaccounted-for person later shows up.
Paige is at John’s side when he wakes up and her relief at this is overshadowed by his amnesia but she vows to help him until his identity is restored. Her first attempt at jogging his memory is to play sounds of the ocean and when that doesn’t work she takes photos of the local area.
John’s frustration grows so much that he tries to push her away. Steadfast, Paige refuses to abandon him, her resolve only getting stronger.
While Paige focuses on the new arrival, Amy (Zoe Cramond) is dealing with a loss. Kyle (Chris Milligan) has chosen to be with his estranged wife Georgia (Saskia Hampele) over Amy and has left to be with her in Europe. He offers Amy his business but she refuses his deal to buy the yard on the cheap, too proud to accept. Struggling to move on, she avoids her feelings by keeping busy.
It’s only when she comes across an old love letter from Kyle that the tears start to flow. Later when she vents to Tyler that Kyle only offered the business to ease his guilt, Tyler makes her realises that she deserve the opportunity. Amy then takes Kyle up on his offer and launches her new business, The Handywoman.

Amy needs to stop blaming and get on with it .... she is always focusing on the past .... don't we all .... but she has got a good opportunity with the business and the helping hand Kyle gave her. She keeps harking on about trust ... but how many times did she let Kyle down by nosing into places in the past ... no wonder it hurt. She just cant see the good in whats shes got in moving forward always moaning about other things.

I can get why she's pretty upset about it, but I do hope they don't have her like this for too long. One of the things I loved about her when they brought her in was her independent side, without sounding stereotypical with the whole "strong independent woman who don't need no man" line, thats what she was, which if we're going to be honest, isn't a common portrayal of women on TV, they are usually seen as lovesick and sort of weak and I'm not being mean, I am a female myself haha. I was hoping they'd have her as a sort of Steph character/personality (minus the mental breakdown).
So I do hope they bring her back to that!

I think the introduction of Ned is like a sudden replacement for Josh? Before Brad has a chance to grieve. I feel really sorry for Teresa, actually!
I suppose Ned will still have potential to be naughty for a while and turn out to be a good guy in the end! Like they always do!

Gutted Kyle chose Georgia (and that he's left !)

Lauren was pregnant not long before Brad married Beth and she got pregnant so I think there's only meant to be a few months diference between Ned and Paige or something like that.

Meet Brad Willis’ long lost son Ned - played by Ben Hall.

How are you feeling arriving on Ramsay St as Ned Willis?

Absolutely dreading it! No, just kidding of course not! I’m very excited, the first week here was really enjoyable working with Scott Major and Kip Gamblin. Visiting Ramsay St was uncanny, it’s the same as when I watched the show 10 years ago! It was an amazing and nostalgic experience working there for the first time. I was a bit nervous, it’s a massive moment when Ned comes back and I want it to live up to the fans' expectations of who he is. I really wanted to make an entrance as a fully developed, interesting character.

Who is your favourite Neighbours character, past or present? Doesn’t have to be a Willis!

Kip would want me to say Brad! I’ve watched him many times over the years and I do love his work. But to be honest, my favourite character would have to be Steph (Carla Bonner), I love her work. She nails it and just knows how this genre works. She always makes her scenes interesting and her expressiveness is great!

Where has Ned been all this time?

Ned left with his mother Beth almost 20 years ago after her and Brad split up. They took off to Sydney and then Ned was later sent to Darwin to live with his Nan and Pop. Doug and Ned have a bit of a history, there’s some stuff that’s gone on. When Brad and Ned get back together there’s a bit of tension and a few things left for them to sort out.

Will Ned and Brad be able to get along?

That is a good question and I’m pretty sure Ned doesn’t know whether they’ll get along but he’s definitely going to try. He comes back with the right intentions but whether he will succeed is another thing entirely. It’s a lot of pain to get over, it’s a lot of hurt to be left by your father. To suddenly try and reconcile after twenty years is not going to be easy!

How will Ned react when he meets the rest of the Willis clan?

It’s a big family, imagine if you hadn’t seen the majority of your immediate family for 20 years - you’re going to feel out of the loop. Ned’s going to love getting to know his sisters and hopefully getting ‘back in’ with the family. Having missed out on a childhood with his immediate family he will now have a different learning experience. Learning how to be a brother and a son, all those things. He gets it right sometimes and he gets it wrong sometimes too.

What are your three favourite things about Ned as a character?

My favourite thing about Ned is that he prefers actions over words. As in, if Ned believes in something he goes out and does something about it rather than just saying he’s going to do it. He shows his feelings through actions rather than just saying meaningless words. Another thing I like about Ned is, though he’s quite conflicted internally about things, he’s always trying to better himself and trying to work things out. Third, he’s a tattoo artist and that’s kind of cool. I don’t think there have been many other tattoo artists in Erinsborough. There’s quite a bit of mischief involved with that so it’s going to be quite fun.

How have you found working with Kip Gamblin and Terence Donovan as your on screen father and grand father?

Those two guys are two of the funniest people I’ve ever met on set - they are ridiculously funny! I didn’t realise that Terence is 80, if I can remember lines and give a performance like he does at that age I will be chuffed! I was blown away when he told me his age because he just has so much energy and he makes me laugh. Kip’s similar, it’s so good that Terence plays his father as you can see that the humour runs in the Willis family. They’re both very fun to work with which makes for a very relaxed working environment.

Can you give us any hints at what’s in store for Ned?

Ned actually has some feelings for someone on Ramsay St but I don’t think anyone will suspect who it is. It’s very risqué! Ned also doesn’t let things lie and he will get his own back on some people...

Neighbours newcomer Ben Hall has disappointed his fans by admitting that his role as Ned Willis won't be permanent.

News that the 23-year-old actor had been cast in the role of Ned originally broke in March, with his first scenes airing earlier this month.

Troubled Ned is the child that Brad fathered with his ex-wife Beth Brennan after they left Ramsay Street in the '90s, and his arrival has been highly-anticipated ever since the Willis family arrived in 2014.

However, Hall disappointed his Twitter followers last night by confirming that Ned won't be sticking around in Erinsborough for too long, explaining that he was only ever brought in as a guest character.

Replying to a follower who was wondering if Ned would feature in the updated version of the opening credits, Hall said: "I'm afraid Ned won't be in the opening titles."

Hall later explained to his understandably confused followers: "Hey guys can't say much but Ned is a guest role, thats why he's not in the titles."

Ned will feature heavily on screen over the next few weeks, with Hall previously hinting that he will have a risqué crush on another character.

That's disappointing to hear, I think a lot of people were expecting Ned to become a regular. He seems to be very popular already from what I've seen of Neighbours fans comments, so I hope TPTB write Ned's exit maybe leaving the door open for his return at some point.

He might turn out to be a villain, possibly even responsible for the explosion, since he's a short term character.

After yesterday's episode, it looked to me like his risqué crush will be on Lauren. That might also be why he leaves.

Neighbours newcomer Ned will give his father Brad some rather upsetting home truths in today's episode (May 11).

The latest preview clip shows the estranged pair having a heated showdown, as Ned challenges Brad over his shortcomings as a father.

https://www.facebook.com/NeighboursOnEleven/videos/10154143806078351/

Ned's ongoing feud with Brad will ultimately result in him deciding to leave Erinsborough, despite desperate pleas from both his sister Piper and Lauren.

With Ned and Brad set to be torn apart forever, Lauren will make a last ditch attempt to reunite them as she reveals that it was Beth who kept them apart when he was younger. Will this be enough to make Ned stay?

Either way, a permanent Brad and Ned reconciliation isn't looking all that likely seeing as Ben Hall recently confirmed that Ned will only be in the show temporarily.

Kiss of death
How will Brad cope when he learns his son fancies his girlfriend?

Discovery Ned planted a smooch on Lauren floors poor Brad.

The truth comes out when Piper (Mavournee Hazel) overhears Ned (Ben Hall) and Lauren (Kate Kendall) arguing about the imtimate moment.

“Lauren feels uncomfortable about not coming clean to Brad,” Kate, 42, says.

When Piper confronts them about the kiss, she insists Brad (Kip Gamblin) be told what happened.

Unable to keep it a secret any longer, Ned and Lauren confess about the lip-lock.

Brad is stunned - especially that Lauren kept quiet about it. Will this end their romance?

Can Brad and Ned mend their fractured relationship?

I thought there was tons of chemistry between Brad and Therese, prior to the affair. There's never been a chemistry between Brad + Lauren for me.
But the chemistry between Ned + Lauren is through the roof from my POV! haha But it would be a bit weird if they got together...

I think Ned's been really creepy towards Lauren and I'd hate to see them together after that. He needs to go away and learn some respect and how to keep his distance from women who aren't interested (which Lauren made very clear).

Otherwise I could see him turn into a stalker who threatens and bullies women who have the audacity to turn him down (and a flasher too after that eyeful he "accidentally" gave her!).

I couldn`t agree more Tammy. I thought it was just me who couldn`t see any chemistry between any of them. I thought it was because Terese seemed to be a bit of a cold fish who always wanted her own way. But now I can see that the chemistry was never there to begin with.
Its not the actors fault. Either you have chemistry or you don`t. it can`t be forced. Terese and Paul seemed to have more chemistry that Terese and Brad. With both Terese and Paul together in the opening credits, I hope their relationship can be salvaged one day.
It says something about Lauren why she doesn`t have any of her kids living with her apart from Paige. Brad is a terrible Father too.
Just my opinion.

Neighbours star Ben Hall has revealed that his character Ned Willis will be making his way back to Ramsay Street later this year, after posting some pictures from the soap set.
Ned Willis left Ramsay Street in shame earlier this month after making a move on his dad's girlfriend Lauren Turner, but he looks set to make a comeback in the near future.
News of Ned's departure shocked fans, who had assumed that Hall had joined the soap on a permanent basis, but it now appears that the story isn't over for Brad's son.
Posting a picture of himself and co-star Matt Wilson - who plays Aaron Brennan - in matching outfits, Hall said: "Maybe Ned's taking fashion advice from Aaron? Not gonna lie - he probably needs it."
Another snap shows him posing alongside Scott McGregor (Mark Brennan), Olympia Valance (Paige) and Jodi Anasta - who has been cast in the role as returning Elly Conway.

Just when you thought the Willis clan were facing enough awkward family drama, along comes Ned for another juicy guest stint.

Having kissed his father Brad's partner Lauren the last time he was on Ramsay Street, it's clear that Ned has a lot of making up to do when he returns. But could a brand new relationship convince everyone that he really has moved on?

Digital Spy recently caught up with Ben Hall, who plays Ned, to hear all the gossip on his character's comeback.

What can we expect from Ned's return?

"As always, Ned brings a bit of strife with him. He's been off doing what I was doing - basically clearing his head, trying to find work and catching up with old friends.

"But like any young guy, Ned has also tried to get Lauren out of his head. When he gets back to the Street, he's running away from another problem because he's slept with someone and found out that she's married. He's a bit edgy about that!"

What kind of a response does Ned get when he's back on the Street?

"There's a bit of a mishap with his dad at first, because Brad thinks that Ned is still into Lauren. Brad is trying to work out if that's true or not. I think Ned has actually managed to get over Lauren, but they still have a very strong bond.

"It doesn't take long for Ned to get around, though! Further down the track, he has a bit of a thing with Elly. It's a very passionate, fiery, 'up and down' sort of relationship. So there's a bit of drama there as well."

Is it love or lust?

"I think it definitely starts as lust, but it has the potential to be love and that's what plays out over the next few months. It's a very unstable relationship, but it definitely has the potential to be love and quite long-lasting."

Is Ned genuinely sorry for what happened with Lauren?

"I think he genuinely is. Ned mistook Lauren's kindness for something else, so that was why he was pursuing her. He hadn't had that affection for a long time.

"It's so awkward for him coming back, but I think Ned genuinely is sorry. He now wants to prove that he's moved on and initially Elly's character may just be that opportunity for him. He's proving that he's over Lauren by going with someone else. But that develops into something more."

Brad and Lauren get engaged next week. How does Ned feel about that?

"It's definitely a shock. Ned is surprised, because of how fragile their relationship was when he left. I don't know if he thinks it's a particularly wise move to be getting engaged, as he thought that Lauren did have a bit of feeling there for him last time. He's never been 100% sure on what Brad's thinking either.

"But Ned wants to be happy for them and he wants them to be happy too. Ned is not malicious, so once he understands it, he's okay with it and wants it to work."

When you filmed your first Neighbours stint, did you always know you were coming back for more?

"It wasn't decided at that point, actually. It just came up and when I found out the opportunity was there to come back, I took it gladly. It's been a really fun period of shooting now that I know the ropes a little bit more."

Ned's arrival had a really great response from the fans, so is that part of the reason Neighbours brought him back?

"I hope so! I don't watch the ratings or anything like that, but I know that fans on social media really seemed to like Ned. They especially seemed to like the stuff with Brad - having someone there to finally lay into him for all the bad stuff that he's done!"

Is there any chance this could become a permanent role rather than just guest stints?

"I don't really know. Again the ball's in their court, but I would definitely be happy to consider staying longer-term on the show. I really enjoy working with FremantleMedia and the cast. Olympia [Valance, who plays Paige], Scotty [McGregor, who plays Mark] and all the other guys are really great fun to work with on set.

"It's funny, because the more that I'm there, the more I want to stay. At first I wasn't sure, because I had a few other job offers. But the more I'm there, the more I enjoy it. I would definitely consider longer but I don't know at the moment."

Who from the cast would you like to work with more?

"I'd love to work more with Alan Fletcher, who plays Karl. There's a couple of scenes coming up when Ned returns, because obviously Elly is related to the Kennedys and so he's around at their house a little bit. I'd love the chance to do some great, goofy character stuff with him.

"I'd also love to work more with Ryan Moloney, who plays Toadie. It'd be great to do more with all of the classic characters that I haven't had a chance to work with yet."

What's your acting background?

"I went to the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts for three years, which is quite well known for its Music Theatre course. So I studied Music Theatre there and after that my first stage show was Les Mes. I'd done a bit of TV stuff before that. I did a musical and a couple of other things - and now Neighbours.

"Before all of that, I was actually at an all-boys Catholic school. It was a sporting school, so it wasn't exactly that conducive to the arts, but we had an incredibly good drama teacher. She instilled me with the skills and inspired me to take it further."

Does Neighbours feel like the big break?

"Yeah, definitely. It's such a nice thing to have on the resume, but also to know that you've been part of a show which has such a history. It opens doors in the UK and it opens doors all over the place, which is really nice.

"It's great to know that it's not just the Australian audience who see your work. We'll see what happens. I've got a British passport so maybe I'll be able to come over there!"

We hear your dad is from Coventry – how many times have you been over to the UK?

"I've actually only been over twice. I came over with my dad when I was 10 to see my grandparents and family over there. I came over again two years ago and I travelled around. But I am actually planning another trip to come back next year to see family and see more of Europe, so hopefully I'll have to time to get into London and around the UK."

There's lots of other drama going on for the Willis family at the moment. Will Ned get involved in Piper, Paige and Tyler's love triangle?

"Oh, Ned knows not to get involved where his sisters are concerned! Those two would tear him apart!"

Neighbours confirms return for Ned Willis and new character Cassius.

Will Terese and Piper be happy to see Ned again?

http://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/neighbours/news/a857482/neighbours-ned-willis-return-cassius-grady/

We're still not over Steph Scully's impending exit, but Neighbours has announced a couple of cast changes to shake the show up a little.

Firstly, the Australian soap will be bringing back Ned Willis.

Actor Ben Hall first played the son of Beth Brennan and Brad Willis in a guest stint two years ago, and subsequently appeared in further episodes between August 2016 and February 2017. He was last seen accepting a job on the Gold Coast.

But after a lengthy absence, Ned is returning to Ramsay Street, surprising his step-mother Terese (Rebekah Elmaloglou) and half-sister Piper (Mavournee Hazel).

UK viewers will be able to see him from Wednesday, June 20 in the UK, and he will be involved in trouble almost from the outset – finding himself "embroiled in an altercation with a local".

"It's really nice to back around familiar faces and also some new ones and pick up where the character left off," Hall commented. "Ned is very complex, which makes him interesting and a lot of fun to play."

Before that happens, though, Neighbours is introducing a new character called Cassius Grady, played by Joe Davidson.

Cassius is described as a "gorgeous gardener" and a "sought-after resident on Ramsay Street".

"I'm really enjoying it, and there is a great sense of family here," Davidson said. "Everyone is so down-to-earth and friendly."

Cassius' first scenes air in the UK next week on Wednesday, May 23.

Neighbours airs on weekdays at 1.45pm and 5.30pm on Channel 5

Ben's Ramsay Street alter ego Ned first popped up in 2016, with his storylines including his complex relationship with his dad Brad, his attraction to Brad's eventual wife Lauren, and his on-off relationship with Elly Conway (Jodi Anasta).

Ned left town in early 2017 after accepting a job on the Gold Coast, but it seems that hasn't worked out – as something brings him back to Erinsborough permanently.

And the news that he's sticking around means an interesting time for Elly and the family members left on Ramsay Street – half-sister Piper (Mavournee Hazel) and former stepmum Terese (Rebekah Elmaloglou).

Neighbours' Ned Willis interrupts a fight as he makes a dramatic return to Erinsborough.

Ben Hall's character is coming back for good.

http://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/neighbours/news/a859154/neighbours-spoilers-ned-willis-return-fight/

Neighbours has revealed a first look at Ned Willis's return to Erinsborough.

Ben Hall is reprising his role as Ned after more than a year away – and this time he's back as a permanent cast member.

Ned's reappearance comes just as tensions are running high on Ramsay Street due to Mishti Sharma being caught up in a sex tape ordeal.

Mishti is devastated when the intimate video that sleazy Dilhan Ozdil recently filmed of them gets uploaded online, becoming a big talking point in the local community.

Although Dilhan gets arrested for his revenge porn scheme, Mishti and her ex-boyfriend Leo Tanaka (Tim Kano) are both outraged when he gets released on bail.

Toadie Rebecchi explains to Leo that nothing will change unless Dilhan does something to revoke his bail, so Leo comes up with a sneaky plan to provoke Dilhan into an argument.

Leo hopes that Dilhan will get riled up into assaulting him and end up back behind bars, but it's actually Leo himself who gets out of control when he accidentally punches a passer-by who is a very familiar face – Ned.

As Ned settles back in, Piper and Terese Willis are both suspicious over his sudden return – certain that there's more to it than meets the eye.

Sure enough, Ned is later seen on the phone to an unknown person, promising that nobody knows the real reason he's back. What is he hiding?

Neighbours airs Ned's return on Wednesday, June 20 at 1.45pm and 5.30pm on Channel 5.

Neighbours star Ben Hall reveals Ned Willis's new love interest
"They have mutual pain, which they can connect on."

http://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/neighbours/interviews/a862577/neighbours-spoilers-ben-hall-ned-willis-bea-nilsson/

Neighbours star Ben Hall has revealed Ned Willis's next romance storyline in a new chat with Digital Spy.

Scenes airing early next month will see Ned come to Bea Nilsson's rescue one evening, when she freaks out over her fears that Finn Kelly could be watching her. When Ned walks Bea home, the pair strike up a surprising new connection and decide to make these after-dark meetings a regular arrangement.

Here, Ben chats about his recent return to the Neighbours cast and what's ahead for Ned – including his answers to questions that Digital Spy readers sent in via Twitter.

How does it feel to be back as a full-time regular?

"It's great and I'm really enjoying it. It's nice, and very rare in the film and TV industry, to come back to something that you're so familiar with and people who you love to work with.

"After I'd finished up on the show last time, I figured that was it for Ned. But I had a call asking me if I was interested in coming back and I started filming again about eight weeks later. I'd just finished up a play that I was doing, so I was available and said I'd love to come back… and here we are!"

We've heard there could be a relationship brewing between Ned and Bea. Can you tell us how it starts?

"We know that Ned is very protective. He's very protective of his sister Piper, and he sees a bit of Piper in Bea. Bea has gone through a lot with the Finn situation and she needs someone to keep an eye on her, so Ned offers to walk her home one evening and they connect on a really platonic level at first.

"Both characters have a rough past. Ned had a tough time in Darwin for a bit after he fell out with his grandparents. Bea had a similar thing where she fell out with her mum and was living on the streets, so I suppose they have that mutual pain and history, which they can connect on.

"Ned and Bea continue taking these night-time walks together. They keep catching up and it keeps developing from there, but it's early days."

All the best partnerships on Neighbours end up with a devoted army of shippers behind them. Would you like it to be the same with Ned and Bea?

"Oh definitely. It's tough, coming off the back of Typer – there's a lot of love for those two out there, but I hope so. I hope that they ship us as much as they did Typer!"

Is there scope for Ned's feelings for Lauren to be revisited again – perhaps with Lauren or Brad coming back?

"Last time I was working on the show, I was really lucky to have the whole family there, working with Kip Gamblin (Brad), Kate Kendall (Lauren) and the others. I really enjoyed that and I think there's definitely potential for them to come back.

"Kate's still in the building as she's directing on the show, so it's definitely possible for her to come back and do more guest appearances, and the same with Kip. I'd love to see some more of that. Lauren and Brad are not far away, they're just up on the Gold Coast, so they can easily fly back down."

Would you like Ned's mum Beth Brennan to come back at some point? Obviously she was played by Natalie Imbruglia in the '90s...

"It'd be fantastic if they could get Natalie Imbruglia back, but I think it'd also be amazing even if they recast the role and bring Beth in with a new actress playing the role.

"That'd be incredible, because there's a lot of history there. There's a lot of things that have been talked about but have never really made it on screen, so there'd be plenty of storylines if Beth did come back."

Was Ned and Aaron's shirtless photoshoot fun to film?

"Yeah we did enjoy it! It was actually very funny to film. It was kind of out of character for Ned to be like: 'Yep, sure, I'll do a semi-nude photoshoot!' But we had a great laugh. I really like working with Matt Wilson, as we're great friends off screen as well.

"It was funny as we had to try to shoot the scene really quickly. It was starting to rain, even though it was supposed to be this sexy summer photoshoot. We were like: 'Quick, quick, quick!' We had one take so we were just going for it. It was fun but very fast."

Does it take long to apply Ned's tattoos each day?

"Not really. They're not airbrushed on, they're like transfers that you have in those little chewing gums, where you wet them and put them on your arm. Although they're better quality and a lot more detailed! It probably takes about 15-20 minutes to get all the tats on, so it's not as long as people think."

Would you like Neighbours to explore Ned's gang past again?

"Yeah, definitely. I would love for that to happen. I really enjoyed the storyline last time where the bikie guys were coming back and chasing Ned down.

"I think there's definitely potential for Ned to run into them again and have some issues. When you have a past like that, it never stops creeping up on you – so Ned's gang history could definitely come back to haunt him."

What do you think of the door being closed on Ned and Elly's relationship?

"It was quite quick, but I think because Ned was besotted with Lauren when he first came back, Elly wasn't really on his mind. I would have liked a few more scenes of him dealing with that, but there's always potential for there to be rekindled flames further down the track, so you never know."

What's the atmosphere like on set after all the recent changes?

"It feels like we've had a great revamp recently. We've had some incredible people coming through – some of who I can't mention yet. But it's going to be very exciting.

"There are some incredible actors coming into the show and some incredible storylines, so it's an exciting time. There are some really modern, interesting, political, topical storylines and I think that's a great direction for the show to go in."

Neighbours' Ned Willis gets a new admirer after Yashvi Rebecchi saves his life
Can Yashvi keep her crush under wraps?

http://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/neighbours/news/a865282/neighbours-spoilers-ned-willis-yashvi-rebecchi-crush/

Neighbours teen Yashvi Rebecchi will develop an inappropriate crush on Ned Willis in a new storyline.

Yashvi (Olivia Junkeer) realises she has feelings for Ned after she helps to save his life in dramatic scenes later this week.

Viewers have recently seen Ned (Ben Hall) exhaust himself by going on night walks with his new love interest Bea Nilsson.

When Ned heads for a relaxing time in the sauna this Thursday (September 6), his lack of sleep finally catches up with him as he dozes off inside.

As the minutes tick by and the heat takes hold, Ned passes out and it's looking serious until Yashvi finds him and calls an ambulance.

The aftermath of the scary incident sees Ned start spending some time with Yashvi as a thank-you, unaware that she's getting a little too attached to him after the dramatic sauna situation.

Ned helps Yashvi practice her football skills, which includes a training session in the pool at home.

Everything seems to be going well, until Yashvi's younger sister Kirsha discovers that she's developing feelings for the much older guy.

When Yashvi's uncle Toadie helps her to cover her feelings in front of Ned, she's hugely grateful for his support – promising that she'll get over her silly crush soon. But will that be easier said than done?

Neighbours airs these scenes on Friday, September 14 at 1.45pm and 5.30pm on Channel 5.

Neighbours' Ned Willis and Bea Nilsson finally kiss – but there's heartbreak in store
Will they miss their chance to become a couple?

http://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/neighbours/news/a866864/neighbours-spoilers-ned-willis-bea-nilsson-kiss/

Neighbours' Ned Willis finally acts on his feelings for Bea Nilsson next week by arranging this romantic gesture.

Ned (Ben Hall) and Bea (Bonnie Anderson) have been growing closer ever since they started to take late-night walks together a few weeks ago, but they've always insisted that they're just friends.

Next week, the pair are finally honest about how they feel after Yashvi Rebecchi inadvertently pushes them into it.

With Yashvi harbouring an inappropriate crush on Ned, she makes a sneaky move next week by telling all of his graffiti tour clients that the event is cancelled.

This leaves Yashvi as the only participant, so when they spend time alone together in the city, she tries her best to flirt with Ned.

An embarrassed Ned is forced to let Yashvi down gently, but she still misinterprets his words and assumes that he wants to be with her once she's finished Year 12.

Back home, Yashvi reports back to Bea about her supposed "success" with Ned, which leads to Bea confronting Ned for an explanation.

Desperate to show that he has no interest in Yashvi whatsoever, romantic Ned takes Bea off for a walk into the Botanical Gardens and shows her a night-time light display that he's set up as a surprise.

Ned confesses that the girl he's really been waiting for is Bea and they quickly get swept up in the romantic moment, sharing a kiss.

The next morning, however, Bea is already having doubts and admits to Ned that she needs more time to sort out her Finn-related issues before she starts seeing someone else. How will Ned deal with the heartbreaking rejection?

Neighbours airs these scenes on Monday, October 1 and Tuesday, October 2 at 1.45pm and 5.30pm on Channel 5.

Neighbours' Ned Willis exposes damning Paul Robinson evidence in fire fallout
Will he regret his decision to meddle?

https://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/neighbours/a26604479/neighbours-spoilers-ned-willis-paul-robinson-evidence/

Neighbours' Ned Willis lands Paul Robinson in big trouble next week, as the fallout from Mel Lohan's bad behaviour continues.

Ned (Ben Hall) decides that it's time to step up to support his girlfriend Bea Nilsson, who nearly died when Mel started a fire at the garage recently.

Feeling protective, Ned is frustrated that Bea (Bonnie Anderson) never seems to get closure when people wrong her. Not only has Mel managed to escape a jail sentence, it's also looking like Finn Kelly could escape justice when he wakes from his coma and claims to have retrograde amnesia.

As Ned considers his next move, he takes a look through some files that he kept when cleaning up Mel's office.

Ned is surprised to come across a bank statement which seems to indicate that Paul (Stefan Dennis) could have secretly funded Mel's dodgy activities, including the fire at the garage.

When confronted, Paul firmly denies having any involvement in the fire, so Bea advises Ned that it's best to leave it.

Ignoring this advice, Ned makes a fateful decision by sending the evidence to someone who Paul will be forced to listen to.

Ned's decision risks the reputation of Paul and Amy's new housing development, but just how serious will the consequences be?

Neighbours airs these scenes on Friday, March 15 at 1.45pm and 5.30pm on Channel 5 (UK) and 6.30pm on 10 Peach (Australia).

Neighbours confirms new romance story for Ned Willis and Yashvi Rebecchi
Do they make a good couple?

https://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/neighbours/a28056648/neighbours-spoilers-ned-willis-yashvi-rebecchi-romance-story/

Neighbours' Ned Willis finally gives into temptation with Yashvi Rebecchi next week.

Ned (Ben Hall) turns to Yashvi for a distraction as he tries to move on from Bea Nilsson following their recent break-up.

Next week's episodes see Ned witness Bea's growing closeness to Finn Kelly when they all find themselves at the community centre together.

Ned is carrying out community service as punishment for his role in the recent poisoning drama, while Finn is leading some adult education classes to support The Sonya Rebecchi Foundation.

Bea turns up to support Finn through his first-day nerves, leaving Ned unsettled when he spots how cosy they seem.

Finding their display of closeness irritating, Ned is put in a bad mood – until Yashvi (Olivia Junkeer) comes to him for help with an assignment. Ned is pleased to find that helping Yashvi is a welcome distraction from his unresolved feelings for Bea.

The following day, Ned turns to Leo Tanaka for some advice on how to move on from a relationship.

Leo suggests that Ned should consider Yashvi as a possible romantic match, suggesting that he could start seeing her differently if he stops being so preoccupied by Bea.

Deciding to put some distance between himself and Bea for a while, Ned goes to Yashvi and admits that he's starting to reciprocate her feelings for him. As they share a kiss, where will this lead?

Neighbours airs these scenes on Thursday, June 27 and Friday, June 28 at 1.45pm and 5.30pm on Channel 5 (UK) and 6.30pm on 10 Peach (Australia).

Neighbours lines up romance trouble for Ned Willis and Yashvi Rebecchi
Yes, already!

https://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/neighbours/a28152934/neighbours-spoilers-ned-willis-yashvi-rebecchi-romance-trouble/

Neighbours fans will see Ned Willis and Yashvi Rebecchi's new romance get off to a rocky start next week.

Show bosses have announced that Ned (Ben Hall) will finally move on from his ex-girlfriend Bea Nilsson by giving into temptation with Yashvi in upcoming episodes.

Although Ned wants to take things slowly with Yashvi (Olivia Junkeer), they don't seem to be on the same page. Yashvi quickly spills the beans to her mum Dipi, who goes straight into protective mode by warning Ned to treat her daughter well.

Yashvi also breaks the news to Bea, who is unsettled to hear that her friend and ex-boyfriend are now a couple.

Ned isn't pleased by Yashvi getting so carried away and warns her that they need to slow things down. Yashvi fears that it's all over already, but is pleased when Ned suggests a date later in the week.

Another problem crops up when Yashvi's dad Shane spots her on her next date with Ned.

Shane had no idea about his daughter's new relationship and is surprised to hear that Dipi already knew about it.

Unable to resist interfering, Shane quizzes Yashvi and Ned on their new-found connection, leaving them both mortified.

When Yashvi warns her dad to get used to it as Ned is her boyfriend now, Ned worries once again that she's getting too serious.

Ned asks Yashvi to dial things back while they're in the early stages of dating, but will she listen?

Neighbours airs these scenes on Monday, July 1 and Friday, July 5 at 1.45pm and 5.30pm on Channel 5 (UK) and 6.30pm on 10 Peach (Australia).

Will he prioritise their relationship?

https://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/neighbours/a28466391/neighbours-cast-yashvi-rebecchi-ned-willis-huge-ultimatum/

In an upcoming episode of Neighbours, Yashvi Rebecchi will hit Ned Willis with a huge ultimatum over their future together.

With some extra cash in her pocket after her secret Finn-related dark tour, Yashvi books a romantic night in a hotel room so that they can take their feelings to the next level. However, Ned feels the pressure of being her 'first'.

They're shaken and embarrassed, but cling to the hope that Ned will keep their secret relationship to himself until they're comfortable about making it official.

Meanwhile, Ned's more interested in learning about Yashvi's recent 'dark tourism' scheme and decides to cancel their saucy rendezvous in the hotel.

Later on, Ned is forced to confront Yashvi over the troubling situation, but she theorises that he's more concerned about Bea – hence his no-show at the hotel. She then gives him an ultimatum: prioritise her or they're done.

Devastated by this turn of events, Ned vows to commit to Yashvi and the couple eventually rehire the hotel suite.

We'll leave the next part out, but we're sure you know what happens next...

Neighbours confirms dark storyline for Ned Willis and Scarlett Brady
Newcomer Scarlett becomes obsessed with Ned.

https://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/neighbours/a28952748/neighbours-spoilers-ned-willis-scarlett-brady-storyline/

Neighbours has confirmed that newcomer Scarlett Brady will develop a dangerous obsession with Ned Willis.

Scarlett, who's joining the soap for a guest stint, makes her first appearance today (September 9) when she crosses paths with Ned at an airport bar in Sydney.

The pair share a polite conversation which seemingly makes a huge impact on Scarlett (Christie Whelan Browne), as she comes to Erinsborough next week in the hope of getting closer to Ned.

When Ned (Ben Hall) sees Scarlett in the area, she claims that she's embarking on a country-wide tour and chose Erinsborough for a stop-off after he spoke so warmly about his town.

While Ned accepts this, viewers soon see Scarlett's true colours when she puts a Lassiters Hotel porter in hospital and takes his job, all to get close to Ned.

Scarlett's first setback comes when she discovers that Ned is dating Yashvi Rebecchi (Olivia Junkeer). While plotting her next move, she opens a sinister scrapbook she is making about Ned, which includes a selfie they took at the airport.

Next on Scarlett's agenda is to drive a wedge between Ned and Yashvi, by constantly – but subtly – bringing up their age gap to cause trouble between them.

Scarlett also sparks a row by telling Yashvi that she met Ned in Sydney, something that he'd neglected to tell her.

Yashvi explodes into a paranoid rage when she finds out about the pair's connection, suspicious that something could be going on.

As sly Scarlett tells Ned that Yashvi is being immature and overly dramatic, he's taken in by her advice – completely unaware that he's being fooled by a master manipulator.

Neighbours airs these scenes on Monday, September 16, Tuesday, September 17 and Wednesday, September 18 at 1.45pm and 5.30pm on Channel 5 (UK) and 6.30pm on 10 Peach (Australia).

Neighbours star Ben Hall reveals "dark" scenes ahead for Ned and Scarlett
The stalker story is just getting started.

https://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/neighbours/a29121199/neighbours-spoilers-ben-hall-ned-scarlett-dark-scenes/

Neighbours star Ben Hall has warned of "dark" scenes ahead for Ned Willis as newcomer Scarlett Brady continues to scheme.

Following a chance meeting at an airport bar earlier this month, Scarlett has come to Erinsborough harbouring a secret obsession with Ned.

Viewers have already seen Scarlett try to drive a wedge between Ned and his girlfriend Yashvi Rebecchi (Olivia Junkeer), but this is only the beginning of what she has in store.

Speaking exclusively to Digital Spy about what's to come, Ben explained: "I think this is the biggest storyline Ned has had since I was a guestie on the show a couple of years ago.

"It lasts for about eight weeks. Even after that, it has quite a long-lasting effect on Ned because of all the stuff that takes place.

"I'm really excited and interested to see what people think. The character of Scarlett is really interesting. I think it'll be divisive for the audience."

He continued: "What I like about the character of Scarlett is that, as we find out more about her history, we discover that she has a traumatic past.

"Her family was killed in a car crash when she was younger. That's affected her entire life and all of her relationships afterwards.

"She's got this stalker thing going on and she's a little bit obsessed with Ned. She's getting to know him and we see that play out. It gets darker and darker as it goes on."

Ben warned that it may take a while for Ned to realise that he has been targeted by a master manipulator.

He laughed: "It'll take a long time, probably! I think Ned wants to see the best in Scarlett. As it goes on, there is a bit of chemistry between them. She's beautiful and seems to really like him.

"They get on well, and if he wasn't with Yashvi, maybe there would be a potential relationship there. Scarlett is very clever and manipulative, but manages to keep it wrapped up very well.

"The producers and the directors wanted the audience to be aware but Ned to stay in the dark – but at the same time, he can't look stupid. So she's got to be incredibly clever to get away with it all.

"Scarlett is clever enough that she even manages to convince Yashvi for a while. Naturally Yashvi sees this beautiful, blonde woman spending all of her time with her boyfriend and gets a little bit jealous, but it takes a while for her to see through the façade."

In real life, Ben was already friends with Christie Whelan Browne when she took on the role of Scarlett.

He told us: "There were a few different names in the frame for the role. Originally they were looking at an American actress. But I was really stoked when we found it was Christie. She'd just finished working on the Muriel's Wedding stage show with my partner Prue and we're all friends, so it made it really fun.

"It made some of the more intimate stuff later on a bit tricky – sometimes it's better if you don't know the person at all! But we had such a great laugh and she's a brilliant actress."

Neighbours airs weekdays at 1.45pm and 5.30pm on Channel 5 (UK) and 6.30pm on 10 Peach (Australia).

Neighbours' Ned Willis to give into temptation with stalker Scarlett
Scarlett hatches a plan to grow closer to Ned.

https://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/neighbours/a29384498/neighbours-ned-willis-scarlett-temptation/

Neighbours' Ned Willis will give into temptation as he kisses stalker Scarlett Brady.

In scenes airing next week, Scarlett (Christie Whelan Browne) attempts to move closer to Ned (Ben Hall). This is despite Bea Nilsson's growing suspicions after Yashvi Rebecchi tells her that she saw Ned and Scarlett half-naked together on the couch.

Ned insists to Toadie Rebecchi that he's just friends with Scarlett, but Paul Robinson and Kyle Canning point out that Scarlett is clearly infatuated with him.

Ned tells Scarlett that he needs to step away, which makes Scarlett secretly panic. In response, she hatches a plan pretending to have an abusive ex-boyfriend and hiring somebody to throw a brick into Number 32 with the message, 'You're mine'.

Scarlett pretends to be traumatised, which leads Ned to let her stay with him at Number 22.

An angry Ned plans to confront Scarlett's ex and has to be talked down by Terese Willis, who thinks that being close to Scarlett isn't good for him especially since he's still on probation. Scarlett overhears this conversation and is not impressed by Terese.

Scarlett is nearly caught paying the person who threw the brick by Ned.

Then, after hearing about the incident and the note, Bea spends time with Scarlett and learns that years ago, Scarlett's family died in a car crash and she has felt lonely since. Bea tells Finn Kelly that she thinks Scarlett has targeted Ned.

Scarlett acts like she's putting on a brave face, which works on Ned. The pair get closer, and Scarlett moves in for a kiss. After a moment of hesitation, Ned reciprocates and kisses her back.

https://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/neighbours/a29456672/neighbours-ned-willis-hospitalised-scarlett-brady/

Neighbours' Ned Willis will end up in hospital, as stalker Scarlett Brady sets a trap for him.

In scenes airing next week, a disappointed Scarlett (Christie Whelan Browne) refuses to accept that Ned (Ben Hall) doesn't want anything more than friendship after their night together.

Scarlett's latest plot puts Ned in danger. Pretending to have left her phone on the tram, she convinces Ned to escort her at night as she goes to pick it up.

It's a trap, as someone on a motorbike speeds towards the pair.

The incident leaves Ned badly injured. Although Ned is initially reluctant to go to the hospital, he eventually goes and finds out that he has a dislocated shoulder and must stay overnight.

Scarlett takes advantage of this latest development and convinces Ned to move in with her for the time being.

Scarlett stops Yashvi Rebecchi (Olivia Junkeer) from visiting Ned and deletes Yashvi's text to him, making Ned think that Yashvi is ignoring him – which Scarlett is more than happy to highlight.

Scarlett then helps Ned get into the bath, as she continues her attempts to seduce him.

Neighbours confirms Ned Willis's fate in shock stabbing storyline
Does he live or die?

https://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/neighbours/a29602320/neighbours-spoilers-ned-willis-stabbing-fate-revealed/

Neighbours has some good news for fans of Ned Willis – he's not being killed off as part of this week's sinister Halloween storyline.

Show bosses have confirmed that Ned (Ben Hall) will be stabbed by dangerous Scarlett Brady this week as their dark storyline comes to a head.

Fortunately, new spoiler pictures for the aftermath now show Ned very much alive – although he's struggling badly in the aftermath of his traumatic experience.

As it's clear that Ned is deeply shaken after the Scarlett drama, Terese (Rebekah Elmaloglou) suggests that he should go for counselling.

Ned refuses to consider the idea, believing that he can sleep his troubles off. Sadly, every time he drifts off, he's haunted by violent nightmares which force him to re-live Scarlett's attack.

Things get worse when Ned's ex-girlfriend Yashvi Rebecchi (Olivia Junkeer) decides to pay him a visit at home.

After ignoring texts from Ned because she's struggling to forgive him for recent events, Yashvi finally bites the bullet and heads over to see him.

Unfortunately, Yashvi's appearance coincides with another of Ned's nightmares and he inadvertently lashes out at her, mistaking her for Scarlett.

Ned is mortified when he realises what he's done and he immediately has to face the consequences, as Yashvi is distressed and Shane (Nicholas Coghlan) is furious.

When Ned tries to apologise to Yashvi, she gives him a dressing down by revealing how betrayed she still feels about Scarlett and their acrimonious break-up. Has Ned lost her for good?

Meanwhile, Bea Nilsson (Bonnie Anderson) grows increasingly concerned over Ned's state of mind, seeing that he's bottling things up and making the wrong move by avoiding professional help. Can anyone convince him to change his mind?

Neighbours airs these scenes on Thursday, November 7 and Friday, November 8 at 1.45pm and 5.30pm on Channel 5 (UK) and 6.30pm on 10 Peach (Australia).

He puts himself in a very risky situation.

Neighbours fans will see Ned Willis head down a potentially dangerous path next week, as he continues to struggle following his stabbing.

Ned (Ben Hall) seeks a new direction as his friends mollycoddle him in the wake of Scarlett Brady's sinister attack.

As Ned struggles to overcome his trauma, he starts searching for active ways to use his pent-up energy.

This includes convincing the hotel's new manager Chloe Brennan (April Rose Pengilly) to let him return to work – and arranging some training sessions with Aaron Brennan (Matt Wilson) at The Shed.

Ned may be looking forward to getting things back to normal, but Aaron is conscious of doctor's orders that he should only engage in light exercises.

As Aaron puts strict limits on the regime, his concerned approach leaves Ned feeling frustrated.

Watching on, newcomer Kane Jones (Barry Conrad) notices Ned's struggles and discreetly suggests an alternative way for him to work out his frustrations.

Ned is intrigued when Kane hands over a mysterious address, encouraging him to turn up later.

When Ned takes the bait, he finds himself at a no-holds-barred fight club with very few rules.

Ned sees this as his chance to unleash, especially as he's still haunted by memories of what Scarlett did to him. Will getting involved be a decision he lives to regret?

Then, with the massive police operation surrounding Robert Robinson at the hospital, Yashvi decides to go check it out and ends up bumping into Ned – and the two then share a moment.

Ned doesn't take Yashvi's decision entirely seriously and playfully tries to tempt her into breaking her vow.

Yashvi isn't impressed and accuses Ned of not supporting her.

Later on, Ned apologises to Yashvi and they manage to get back on the same page once again.

As they make up and Ned helps Yashvi to study, a shady guy watches them very closely. Who is he and what does he want with the pair?

The latest ominous sign follows an eventful few months for Ned. He faced a terrifying situation at Halloween when he was stabbed by sinister Scarlett Brady, who had been manipulating him for weeks.

Afterwards, Ned landed himself in further trouble by joining a dangerous fight club, leading to problems with his new associates when he later wanted to quit.

Neighbours airs these scenes on Friday, January 24 at 1.45pm and 5.30pm on Channel 5 (UK) and 6.30pm on 10 Peach (Australia).

Neighbours' Ned Willis faces more terrifying threats as newcomer Zenin arrives
The fight club saga isn't over.

https://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/neighbours/a30586839/neighbours-spoilers-ned-willis-zenin-threats/

Neighbours fans will see Ned Willis face sinister threats next week, as his time in the fight club unexpectedly comes back to haunt him.

Show bosses have cast former Home and Away star Axle Whitehead in the role of dangerous newcomer Zenin, who issues a frightening warning to Ned (Ben Hall) in a sinister new storyline.

Zenin wants Ned to keep quiet about something that happened during his short-lived involvement in the club. Ned is baffled by this, not understanding what he's supposed to be staying silent about.

Recognising the seriousness of Zenin's threats against him and his girlfriend Yashvi Rebecchi (Olivia Junkeer), Ned turns to Paul Robinson (Stefan Dennis) for some advice.

Paul suggests that Ned should make a power move against Zenin and his associates, as they're clearly not the kind of people to scare easily and calling the police won't work.

Ned complains that he doesn't have any power in this situation, so Paul advises him to bluff and hope for the best.

Later in the week, Ned secretly heads to the prison to visit Kane Jones (Barry Conrad), one of his acquaintances from the fight club.

Ned wants to know what the incriminating thing is that Zenin thinks he saw – hoping that Kane will be able to shine some light on the situation. But will he agree to do so?

The following day, Ned reaches breaking point when he sees Zenin lurking around the complex.

Fearing that Zenin has plans to hurt Yashvi, Ned decides to take Paul's advice and try to bluff his way out of the situation.

Confronting Zenin, Ned claims that he remembers the illicit activity at the fight ring and has given a statement to his lawyer. If anything happens to Yashvi, this statement will go straight to the police.

Ned is clearly playing with fire, but will it be enough to convince Zenin to back down?

Neighbours airs these scenes on Monday, January 27, Thursday, January 30 and Friday, January 31 at 1.45pm and 5.30pm on Channel 5 (UK) and 6.30pm on 10 Peach (Australia).

Neighbours' Ned Willis to break his silence over Zenin's threats
But will the police keep him and Yashvi safe?

https://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/neighbours/a30750097/neighbours-ned-willis-zenin-threats-police/

Neighbours' Ned Willis will finally break his silence over Zenin's terrifying threats.

Recent episodes have seen Ned's (Ben Hall) past come back to haunt him, as Zenin (Axle Whitehead) threatened to hurt him and Yashvi Rebecchi (Olivia Junkeer) if Ned didn't keep quiet about something that happened in a fight club.

Ned ended up bluffing, telling Zenin that he gave a statement to his lawyer – which will go to the police if he or Yashvi are harmed.

In scenes airing next week, Toadie's law office is broken into. Ned and Kyle Canning (Chris Milligan) both suspect that this was Zenin's doing, particularly as it follows Toadie speaking with the police over a gun incident at Buddy Club.

Ned has no proof of Zenin's involvement, and so comes up with a plan to get to the bottom of it, with Kyle's reluctant help.

However, his plan potentially puts Yashvi in greater danger, as she plans a celebratory dinner for her and Ned.

Yashvi learns the truth about Zenin's threats, and is angry at Ned for hiding the truth as well as his risky plan to purchase an illegal firearm.

Ned, Yashvi, and Kyle end up going to the police to give statements, but don't know if it's enough for Zenin to be immediately arrested.

Ned is worried about Zenin, but is reassured by Yashvi that the police will make sure that they're safe...

Neighbours airs these scenes on Monday, February 10 and Tuesday, February 11 at 1.45pm and 5.30pm on Channel 5 (UK) and 6.30pm on 10 Peach (Australia).

Neighbours hints at a horror new ordeal for Ned Willis as he revisits his past
An old enemy causes big trouble for him.

https://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/neighbours/a34142462/neighbours-spoilers-ned-willis-scarlett-brady-ordeal/

Neighbours has hinted that Ned Willis could find himself framed for a terrible crime.

A brand new trailer released by the show reveals more of the drama to come for Ned (Ben Hall) following the shock return of Scarlett Brady.

Recent episodes on air in Australia have seen Scarlett (Christie Whelan Browne) make a surprise comeback to Ned's life, nearly a year after she stabbed him in a horror Halloween storyline.

Scarlett's return plot, which starts on screen for UK viewers in a fortnight's time, has seen her blackmail Ned into painting a portrait of her.

However, it seems this is just the beginning of the trouble in store as Scarlett continues to return to her old tricks.

In the brand new footage, Ned is seen returning to the maze where Scarlett stabbed him last year, which is sure to bring back horrible memories for him.

There's also a glimpse of blood-stained evidence and police constable Levi Canning (Richie Morris) making a concerning discovery.

Meanwhile, there's a promo shot of Ned in handcuffs, while a menacing voice-over from Scarlett hints that she could turn the tables on him: "You've been harassing me for weeks, hounding me with your sick, twisted obsession. Show them who you really are."

Could Ned find himself in serious trouble with the police thanks to Scarlett's games?

Neighbours airs weekdays at 1.45pm and 5.30pm on Channel 5 (UK) and 6.30pm on 10 Peach (Australia).

Neighbours confirms Ned Willis' sinister new storyline twist
What has he done?

https://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/neighbours/a34272213/neighbours-spoilers-ned-willis-scarlett-brady-disappearance/

Neighbours spoilers follow from Monday's Australian episode, which some UK readers may prefer to avoid.

Neighbours has confirmed Ned Willis' huge new storyline twist, which sees him under suspicion over a sinister crime.

The soap recently teased a shock turn of events for Ned (Ben Hall) in a tense trailer focusing on his ongoing ordeal with stalker Scarlett Brady.

Monday's episode on Australian screens (October 5) has now revealed the full details of the storyline, which sees Ned in serious trouble with the police.

In the show's latest scenes, Scarlett managed to lure Ned back to the maze where she stabbed him last year. This came after she disrupted the launch of his art exhibition by publicly accusing him of stalking her.

Scarlett seemed firmly in control as she brought Ned back to the scene of the stabbing in the aftermath ? but a few hours later, she was nowhere to be seen.

Mysteriously, Ned woke up back in Erinsborough, having slept in his car. He had a visible head injury and no memory of what happened after he followed Scarlett into the maze.

When Scarlett's fianc? later reported her as a missing person, the police had some tough questions to ask Ned as he was the last person to see her alive.

Thanks to various clues that Scarlett had set up in recent days, including the Fandangle activity and some misleading CCTV footage, the police were starting to see Ned as the true villain of the piece.

Things only got worse for Ned when policeman Levi Canning (Richie Morris) found spots of blood in his car boot.

Could Ned have got rid of Scarlett and lost his memories of what happened, or is this all part of his stalker's evil masterplan to make him suffer? Only time will tell.

Neighbours fans in the UK will see these scenes on Channel 5 in three weeks' time.

Neighbours airs weekdays at 1.45pm and 5.30pm on Channel 5 (UK) and 6.30pm on 10 Peach (Australia).

Yesterday's (Monday 5th) episode was super stupid.

I can get on board with Ned following her out of the exhibition, but getting in the car to drive after her, abandoning his event, and then follow her for hours. It changes from day to night. Even if he's angry, surely he'd think 'why am I doing this.. what a waste of time'.

The CCTV is also incredibly dumb. It's so clearly a set up. Police will say 'this looks like you pushed her' and no one will say 'well, you don't see me in the shot, so you can't say that for sure'.

Like really, what was he planning to do? Just talk? Why did he chase her? It made no sense to me.

Natalie Imbruglia shocked by Neighbours' Ned Willis revelation
"I have a son? What!"

https://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/neighbours/a36812186/neighbours-natalie-imbruglia-ned-willis-surprise/

Former Neighbours star Natalie Imbruglia was surprised to learn about on-screen son Ned Willis.

The singer portrayed Beth Brennan in the Ramsay Street soap between 1992 and 1994. The character eventually had a son with Brad Willis named Ned, who ended up moving to Erinsborough in 2016 and is played by Ben Hall.

During an interview with Behnaz Akhgar on BBC Radio Wales yesterday (June 22), Natalie was asked whether she watches the show now and again and see how her son is doing.

"I have a son? What?" she replied with shock. "Oh my god. Oh my god, I didn't even know that. That is brilliant.

"Oh my god, that's hysterical. Do you know, because when I do watch it, I get freaked ? it's like other people are in my house. I haven't watched it in a long time, but thank you for telling me I have a son on telly."

Natalie also said she has "really fond memories" of her time on Neighbours, saying that she wouldn't be where she is now without the Australian soap.

"I have a lot of great friendships from that time, and it was a really good introduction to the industry," she explained.

"I learnt a lot, and it's the reason I'm here, because the success of that show got me to the UK and made me realise I wanted to live here and be here."

Ned's current storyline at UK pace sees his relationship with Yashvi Rebecchi in trouble after she discovers the emotional connection he had with the new Sheila Canning.

Neighbours airs weekdays at 1.45pm and 5.30pm on Channel 5 (UK) and weekdays at 6.30pm on 10 Peach (Australia).

Neighbours responds to Natalie Imbruglia's confusion over Ned Willis
"It must be time for a visit!"

https://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/neighbours/a36828356/neighbours-natalie-imbruglia-ned-response/

Neighbours has responded after Natalie Imbruglia's shock about on-screen son Ned Willis.

In a recent BBC Radio Wales interview with Behnaz Akhgar, Natalie ? who portrayed Beth Brennan between 1992 and 1994 ? was told that her character's son (played by Ben Hall) is currently on Ramsay Street.

"I have a son? What!" she replied. "Oh my god, I didn't even know that. That is brilliant."

Following this, the Erinsborough soap reacted to Natalie's confusion by tweeting from both the UK and Australian Twitter accounts, suggesting that Beth could pay a visit.

"Well, this is awkward. 😂" the UK account tweeted. "It must be time for a visit!"

"Looks like Beth is due for a visit in Erinsborough?" the Australian account added.

Ned has been in Erinsborough since 2016. His recent storylines have mostly revolved around his emotional connection with the new Sheila Canning and subsequent relationship troubles with Yashvi Rebecchi.

Elsewhere in the same interview, Natalie said that she has "really fond memories" of her time on Neighbours.

"I learnt a lot," she said, "and it's the reason I'm here, because the success of that show got me to the UK and made me realise I wanted to live here and be here."

Natalie is currently promoting her next album Firebird, which is out in September.

Neighbours airs weekdays at 1.45pm and 5.30pm on Channel 5 (UK) and weekdays at 6.30pm on 10 Peach (Australia).

Neighbours' Ned Willis to be caught out over secret sabotage
The polyamorous relationship is in danger.

https://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/neighbours/a38186716/neighbours-spoilers-ned-felicity-sabotage-caught/

Neighbours spoilers follow.

Neighbours' Ned Willis gets caught out after teaming up with Felicity Higgins to sabotage his polyamorous relationship.

The relationship between Ned (Ben Hall), Amy Greenwood (Jacinta Stapleton), and Levi Canning (Richie Morris) has hit a few bumps lately, as a result of Levi's interest in Felicity (Isabella Giovinazzo). Although she really likes Levi, Felicity has no interest in polyamory.

Australian viewers have seen Ned convincing her to give Levi another chance, suggesting that they might be able to persuade Levi to leave the polyamorous relationship.

In upcoming scenes, Amy continues to make an effort with Felicity.

At the same time, Ned and Felicity work to drive a wedge between Amy and Levi, but it's not long before they're found out. Not surprisingly, both Levi and Amy are furious with the pair of them.

Amy later tells an apologetic Ned that she understands what caused him to behave that way.

With Levi committed to the polyamorous relationship, Ned has to figure out if he still wants to continue their arrangement.

Amy is hopeful that things can go back to the way they were, but Levi, who has dumped Felicity, has some news to break...

Isabella Giovinazzo, who plays Felicity, recently told Digital Spy that she would be open to a more permanent stay.

"I never would have really seen it in my future, just because I've done similar work in the past and then it's nice to do something new," she said. "But then after being there, working with Richie and being in the environment at Neighbours, it was such a lovely place to work."

Neighbours airs these scenes on Tuesday, November 16, Wednesday, November 17 and Thursday, November 18 at 1.45pm and 6pm on Channel 5. The scenes air in Australia on Tuesday, November 9, Wednesday, November 10 and Thursday, November 11 at 6.30pm on 10 Peach.

Neighbours reveals possible baby twist for Ned Willis and Amy Greenwood
Ned is rattled by Amy's decision.

Neighbours spoilers follow.

Neighbours' Amy Greenwood tells Ned Willis that she wants to have a baby in next week's UK episodes.

The storyline comes after Amy (Jacinta Stapleton) and Ned (Ben Hall) get back together in the aftermath of the River Bend getaway.

In upcoming scenes, Roxy Willis (Zima Anderson) is keen to do everything she can to ensure that she gets pregnant, including avoiding some foods and booking a yoga session with Kyle Canning (Chris Milligan).

Amy sees how excited Roxy is about the prospect of having a baby with her husband, and reflecting further over a family lunch, she informs Ned of her desire for another baby while she still can.

Meanwhile, Ned finds out that Harlow Robinson (Jemma Donovan) is taking a trip to London. The pair hooked up at River Bend when they were lost, but things continue to be a little tense between them ? especially considering Harlow advised Ned not to get back together with Amy.

Ned asks Harlow if she's travelling to England to avoid him and Amy, which she denies. Their friendship remains in an awkward place as Harlow sets off abroad.

Unsure about whether he wants a family, Ned is caught off-guard by Amy's decision. Ned tries to take some time to think about this, but do the couple want the same thing?

In the long term, there is a possibility the relationship won't last as there are reports that Ben Hall is leaving his role as Ned amid claims he's reached the end of his contract.

Neighbours airs these scenes on Tuesday, March 22 and Wednesday, March 23 at 1.45pm and 6pm on Channel 5 (UK) and Monday, April 11 and Tuesday, April 12 at 6.30pm on 10 Peach (Australia).

Neighbours' Ned Willis and Amy Greenwood to fall out amid baby hopes
Another row leaves their relationship on the line.

https://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/neighbours/a39558780/neighbours-ned-willis-amy-greenwood-fall-out/

Neighbours spoilers follow.

Neighbours' Ned Willis and Amy Greenwood will face another stumbling block in their relationship next week, as Amy continues to harbour hopes of having a baby with Ned.

The couple have faced some tough times recently, with Ned (Ben Hall) having secretly shared a moment of passion with Harlow Robinson (Jemma Donovan) while he and Amy (Jacinta Stapleton) were taking a break from their romance.

After the couple decided to get back together, Amy noticed how excited Roxy Willis (Zima Anderson) and Kyle Canning (Chris Milligan) are about the prospect of having a baby together and has shared her desires to have another child with Ned ? a prospect that he has been unsure about.

In new scenes that will air next week in the UK, Ned does his best to get Amy to think through her decisions as logically as possible.

But his efforts don't seem to be working, as Amy becomes so caught up in her excitement over her Fashion Week designs that she starts to neglect her drinks van business.

When Amy reveals that she is considering selling the van in order to fund her entry into Fashion Week, Ned can't hide his frustration any longer. He points out to Amy that she is considering making another snap decision, without properly thinking through the consequences.

Ned is left with a big question over Amy ? how can he possibly think about having a baby with somebody who can be so irresponsible?

With both Amy and Ned's annoyance at each other boiling over, they agree to give each other some space.

But when Ned arrives home from work, he notices Amy's van parked up on Ramsay Street with a For Sale sign attached to it.

Could this be the final straw for Ned and Amy's relationship?

Is he close to betraying Amy?

https://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/neighbours/a39618664/neighbours-spoilers-ned-willis-harlow-robinson-admission/

Neighbours spoilers follow.

Neighbours' Ned Willis is honest with Harlow Robinson next week as he admits that he still has feelings for her.

Ned had sex with Harlow when they were lost in the outback together last month, but he later left her heartbroken by reuniting with Amy Greenwood once they were back on Ramsay Street.

In next week's episodes, Ned tries to clear the air with Harlow following her return from London.

Unfortunately, Ned is thwarted at every turn as he can't seem to get a moment alone with Harlow.

Amy inadvertently makes matters worse as she remains convinced that Harlow doesn't like her.

She tries her best to win Harlow over, but this only increases the sense of awkwardness between Ned and Harlow.

Later in the week, Harlow gets a welcome distraction when she reunites with Corey, the guy she met in London.

Harlow's resentment towards Ned also grows further when she finds out that he told Kyle Canning about their secret passion.

When Ned sees Harlow and Corey spending time together, he struggles to keep a lid on his feelings.

Ned admits to Harlow that he's jealous, but she berates him for his behaviour since he's still in a relationship with Amy.

The pair agree that they should keep their distance for everyone's sake, but with the feelings between them still obvious, could this prove easier said than done?

Jemma Donovan, who plays Harlow, recently told Digital Spy that her character made her London trip in order to get away from Ned for a while.

She explained: "I think she just needs to step out of Erinsborough for a little bit and see people who aren't on the Street and figure out what she wants to do.

"Whenever you come home, you get time to think about what's going on in your life. I think she really needed that and she gets to see her aunt as well, who's probably the closest thing she has to her mum.

"I think she probably just needed to get out of Erinsborough for a second."

Neighbours has confirmed that Ned Willis's final scenes will air next week.

As Digital Spy exclusively revealed in March, Ben Hall has bowed out from the soap after reaching the end of his contract.

Ned's departure comes following the dramatic conclusion of his love triangle with Amy Greenwood and Harlow Robinson.

This week's episodes see Ned and Harlow's secret passion exposed to everyone during Amy's fashion show at Lassiters.

In the fallout next week, Ned continues to feel caught between Harlow and Amy.

He ends up making contact with Roxy Willis for some advice. Zima Anderson briefly reprises her role as Roxy for a cameo in this episode.

After listening to what Roxy has to say, Ned decides that it's too messy to make it work with either Harlow or Amy.

Ned realises that he needs a fresh start instead and announces plans to leave Erinsborough.

In Ned's final episode, he says goodbye to various friends and neighbours.

Ned is unaware that Amy is worried she could be pregnant, but when she does a test, it turns out to be negative.

In bittersweet scenes, Ned shares a heartfelt goodbye with Amy before leaving for his fresh start in Sydney.

Ben Hall has played the role of Ned on and off since 2016. He became a regular member of the cast in 2018.

Neighbours star Ben Hall on Ned Willis's exit, show axe and future plans
"He leaves as a bit of a bad boy."

https://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/neighbours/a39846430/neighbours-spoilers-ben-hall-ned-willis-exit-interview/

Neighbours spoilers follow.

Neighbours waves goodbye to Ned Willis next week as he decides to leave Erinsborough for a fresh start in Sydney.

Ned bows out from Ramsay Street after being caught out for cheating on Amy Greenwood with Harlow Robinson, realising that he needs to make a clean break following his bad behaviour.

In real life, Ben Hall ? who plays Ned ? filmed his final scenes in March, just a few weeks after the news had come through that Neighbours itself would soon be ending after 37 years on air.

Digital Spy recently caught up with Ben for a chat about Ned's departure, his future plans and the big Neighbours finale.

How do the Ramsay Street residents react when Ned announces that he's leaving?

"Ned is definitely leaving under a bit of a cloud. I think this is one of Ned's worst moments. He's done some pretty foolish things in his time, but often there were negating circumstances.

"This time, Ned made that decision and he annoys a lot of people. Paul is disappointed and so is Terese, who's always looked out for him. Even Toadie's disgusted by his behaviour. So he's not particularly welcome on the Street after that."

Did you enjoy playing that, or did you want Ned to bow out on a better note?

"You know what? He came in as a bit of a bad boy, and he leaves as a bit of a bad boy. I didn't mind that ending, really. I thought it was quite fitting for Ned."

How did your departure from the show come about?

"That was just the end of my contract. For the show, once they knew that Channel 5 wasn't picking up the [Neighbours] contract, they needed to get some storylines sorted out.

"There was definitely a bunch of cast leaving in order to open up some new storylines, ways for people to come back and all that sort of stuff.

"I think it made sense for Ned to go at the time."

How did you feel when the news broke that the show was definitely ending? Was your reaction a bit different because you were leaving anyway?

"Yeah, I suppose I'd made peace with the fact I was leaving. It wasn't as devastating for me. But it was devastating in the sense that, it's always nice to think that that show is there and it's something to go back to.

"Neighbours is also such an important part of the Aussie industry for people who are coming up through the ranks. There's really only Home and Away left that you can have that sort of experience on, and I think that's a great shame.

"At the same time, it's going to be such an amazing ending, and what they've got planned is so great that it's going to really pay respect to all the cast and crew over the 37 years, which I think is a really nice way to end.

"It could have maybe stretched out for longer and then petered out in not a great way. Whereas this is going to be a big, final hurrah. They've got the budget. They've got the people coming back. They've got stuff happening for the end of the storylines. So I think it's going to be really great."

If the producers decide to bring Natalie Imbruglia back, they probably need you there as their excuse since you play Beth Brennan's son. Is there a chance we could see Ned pop back for the finale?

"Look, I would love to. If they asked me, and I'm available, then I would love to do a scene with Natalie Imbruglia. I'm open to that. It's up to the powers that be."

Some fans are finding it difficult to let go of Neighbours and believe that something might change at the eleventh hour. Do you think there's any hope for the show to come back in the future, or do we just need to accept that it's ending now?

"It's a really good question. I definitely think there's potential for the show to come back in perhaps a different format or perhaps in a different way.

"I don't think the show as we know it is coming back. I mean, you just never know. It's the kind of industry where suddenly someone jumps in and has the budget, and has the timeslot, and can do it. That would be amazing.

"But at this point in time, it's ending and we're going to celebrate 37 amazing years of the show and let it go for the time being."

What can you tell us about your future plans?

"I've started working on another project. I can't mention too much about it yet, but I'm working on something new, which is very different to Neighbours, and I'm excited about it. It's a good learning experience for me, definitely."

Are you hoping to stay Australia-based or travel elsewhere?

"I've got plans to come over to the UK later in the year ? work depending. But I'd love to come over, spend a few months and get some representation over there, and hopefully work over there at some time. It'd be lovely."

Home and Away has hired a lot of former Neighbours actors recently. Would you ever be interested in crossing over to Summer Bay?

"I'd never say no. I'm always open to opportunities. Show me the paperwork first! But, hey, why not? I know Harley Bonner has had a wonderful time on there, so I definitely wouldn't say an outright no. Although I'd feel a little bit like a traitor!"

Neighbours airs weekdays at 1.45pm and 6pm on Channel 5 and streams on My5. In Australia, the show airs Mondays to Thursdays at 6.30pm on 10 Peach and streams on 10 Play.

Neighbours - has Ned Willis left for good?
Ben Hall's exit scenes aired on Tuesday.

Neighbours spoilers follow.

Neighbours aired a bittersweet farewell for Ned Willis on Tuesday (May 10) as he bowed out from Erinsborough for a fresh start in Sydney.

Ned decided to leave Ramsay Street following his messy love triangle with Amy Greenwood and Harlow Robinson, realising that his cheating scandal had brought out the worst in everyone.

Although Ned was leaving under a cloud after his bad behaviour, there was a ray of hope when he received an unexpected text from his ex-girlfriend Yashvi Rebecchi, who suggested that they should reconnect once he was in Sydney.

Here's our quick guide to Ned's departure.

Has Ned Willis left Neighbours?

The sad news for Ned fans is that Ben Hall has now left Neighbours as a regular cast member.

Digital Spy exclusively revealed Ned's departure in March, when he filmed his exit scenes, and the show itself announced the news at the end of April.

In a recent chat with Digital Spy, Ben explained that it was the right time for Ned to leave, as the show is currently wrapping up storylines ahead of a nostalgia-filled finale for Neighbours in August.

Ben told us: "That was just the end of my contract.

Some fans have expressed dismay over Ned leaving in everyone's bad books, but Ben pointed out that it wasn't entirely out of character.

He said: "You know what? He came in as a bit of a bad boy, and he leaves as a bit of a bad boy. I didn't mind that ending, really. I thought it was quite fitting for Ned."

Will Ned Willis return to Neighbours?

While Ned is no longer a show regular and will be removed from the show's opening titles this week, Neighbours bosses recently announced that we'll see him again before the soap ends.

Ned was included in the list of 23 returnees announced by Channel 5 at the weekend.

Yashvi Rebecchi will also be returning, so we'll hopefully get some updates on whether they managed to work things out or not.

Neighbours' executive producer Jason Herbison recently said: "Whether the eighties, nineties, noughties or teens is your favourite decade, we will be delivering something for everyone as Neighbours draws to a close.

"Alongside the current cast we will be celebrating the most memorable characters from across many eras, with a few surprises up our sleeve."

Neighbours superfans are also still holding out hope for Ned to finally share a scene with his mum Beth Brennan, who was played by Natalie Imbruglia between 1992 and 1994.

Before Ned left, he mentioned that he wanted to spend some time with his mum.

Natalie has also said that she'd be open to returning to Neighbours, although she hasn't been announced to make a comeback so far.

Ben recently told Digital Spy: "I would love to do a scene with Natalie Imbruglia. I'm open to that. It's up to the powers that be."

Neighbours airs weekdays at 1.45pm and 6pm on Channel 5 and streams on My5. In Australia, the show airs Mondays to Thursdays at 6.30pm on 10 Peach and streams on 10 Play.

If Ned hadn't been leaving he should have been getting together with Harlow. He said they would talk after the fashion show, and he would finish with Amy. Seems wrong the way he left, but it was rushed.
