I wonder why

Tracy probably made some kind of comment about Ashley and made Claire angry.

Or maybe Becky beat up Tracey and Claire takes the blame. Then Becky pays for her to get out of the country.

John feels obliged to call on Joy again and finds her in tears, unable to understand why Colin has
not contacted her when he must know that she is dying. Becky is released pending further enquiries
into the attack on Tracy - then there is a surprise confession by the real culprit. Sally is furious when
she finds out that Kevin plans to sell the house from under her,
and vows to make it totally unsellable. Chris is enraged to see
Lloyd and Cheryl get close and though he wines and dines
Maria, it is clear that he has something planned for Lloyd.
Leanne admits that her holiday with Peter was a nightmare and
as he continues to vent his frustrations on her, she seeks comfort
with Nick. When Nick discovers how close Peter and Carla came
to an affair he quickly turns the knowledge to his advantage.
Engaging Peter in a psychological chess game, he plays Iago
and gently leads him on towards that first drink. When Fiz reads about Joy's death in the paper she
asks John when he last visited her - is Fiz onto him? Claire and the boys leave the Street for good.

Looks like Claire is the one who attacks Tracey and Becky helps her escape.

It looks like the petty squabbles between Kevin and Sally are about to get worse.

The estranged couple have rowed endlessly in recent weeks while continuing to live under the same roof following the revelation of Kevin's ill-fated affair with Molly.

However, events take a twist in a week's time when Kevin arranges for a 'For Sale' sign to be erected outside the family home, believing that selling up is the best solution to all of their problems.

When Sally sees the sign, she's furious over Kevin's latest antics and vows that she'll do everything in her power to stop any sale from going ahead…

Sally should have known it was inevitable Kevin'd want to sell the house, but doing it without discussing it with her first is low.

10th Jan 1930

Sally's furious when she discovers Kevin plans to sell the house from under her. As a row ensues, Sally insists she's staying put and she'll do whatever it takes to make the place un-sellable.

Meanwhile, when Joy calls John again, he feels obliged to visit. He finds her in tears, unable to understand why Colin hasn't responded to her messages saying she's dying. The pair are then interrupted by a call from Fiz, and when John's phone soon rings for a second time, he picks it up without thinking. At the other end is a confused Joy who wants to know why John has got Colin's phone. Can John continue to lie?

Elsewhere, Becky's released pending further enquiries. Later, overhearing Becky explain the situation to a confused Max, the real culprit asks for a word in private and leaves Becky stunned.

Also, Leanne and Peter are back from their romantic break, and Chris promises Maria a special date but it isn't exactly what she imagined.

2030

Joy's shellshocked as she digests the news that Colin is dead. Unable to stop himself, John confesses to everything, feeling a dark sense of relief. Horrified, Joy accuses him of murder, but John begs her to believe Colin was already dead.

Meanwhile, as Leanne confesses to Janice that looking after Peter on holiday was exhausting, a depressed Peter claims he's fed up of people fussing round him and wants to move back to the flat. How will Leanne react?

Elsewhere, Becky's stunned as all is revealed by Tracy's attacker. But will they confess to the police?

Also, following a successful date, Maria must decide whether she's ready to take things further with Chris.

Thursday 13th 2030

Peter's determined to do things for himself, but back at the flat, he feels useless and isolated. Heading down to the bookies, he finds Nick and Leanne but when Leanne insists he's not ready to work, a row ensues. Both vent their frustrations and Peter insists she should do them both a favour and leave.

As he storms out, Nick takes the opportunity to comfort Leanne, while back in the flat Peter falls out of his wheelchair. Humiliated, he breaks down. Will Leanne come back and find him?

Meanwhile, as Tracy's attacker is released on bail, Deirdre flies at the guilty party. The shouting alerts others, but Deirdre's gutted when everyone defends Tracy's attacker rather than condemning them. Over at the hospital, Tracy is forced to change her statement.

Elsewhere, John heads back to Joy's to remove any incriminating evidence, and Chris plans another date with an excited Maria.

Friday 14th 1930

As Dr Carter visits a dejected Peter after his fall, Nick overhears Leanne snipe at Carla when she asks after Peter. Realising there is history between the pair, Nick pushes Carla until she reveals that she had feelings for Peter but he didn't reciprocate.

Using this, Nick's more determined than ever to prove to Leanne that Peter's not the man she thinks he is.

Meanwhile, it's Claire's 30th but she's not in the mood for celebrating. However, as she has a birthday drink in The Rovers, it turns into a farewell party.

Elsewhere, Chris hatches a plan to get back at Lloyd and calls in an old mate, and Chesney offers his support to John after sensing that he's a mess.

2030

As Nick wonders if Peter's about to drink, it's clear that things are finally going his way in the battle for Leanne. Peter begs him not to tell Leanne, and Nick knows he's got him right where he wants him.

Seemingly caring, Nick lets Peter talk as he leads him to the edge. It's a psychological game of chess as Nick plays Iago, assuring Peter he's got his back. Will Peter drink?

Meanwhile, as Chris wines and dines Maria, he confirms he's happy to take things slowly but is this really what she wants? Back on the street, Chris meets up with his mate who tells him the job went as planned. What has Chris done?

Elsewhere, Claire and the boys leave the street, and Fiz questions John after reading about Joy's death in the paper.
