Peggy makes a disturbing discovery
Airs on Monday, August 16 2010 20:00 BST on BBC One

Shirley smells crack on Phil and sees him shaking before asking him for money; he refuses.
As Ronnie and Roxy prepare for R&R's relaunch, Glenda is sent to help out at The Vic, where she continues to exchange malicious remarks with Peggy. Later, Phil heads over to the pub while Peggy is out, and when his combination to the safe doesn't work, he takes hundreds of pounds from the till as Glenda watches on. When Peggy returns and discovers that Glenda stood by while Phil emptied the till, she chucks Glenda out.

The bickering between the two women continues later in the day as Glenda harshly reminds Peggy that Ronnie and Roxy are her daughters, not Peggy's. At the relaunch, Peggy throws Glenda insults about leaving her kids and discovers that Glenda knew Archie was abusing Ronnie…

Meanwhile, at Pat's house, Bianca advises Carol to get herself some romance and calls the army recruitment office to get the number of Lewis, a man who previously gave his number to Carol. Carol eventually agrees to call him and leaves a voicemail, but soon starts to regret her choice and feels like an idiot. Bianca and Whitney style Carol's hair and make-up beautifully in preparation for R&R's relaunch, but when they get there, Carol feels embarrassed and leaves. When Carol gets home, she is upset and says she isn't interested in men, despite Lewis calling five times to arrange meeting up.

Elsewhere, Harry Gold asks to see Max at the car lot; Phil gives the stolen money to Rainie so they can get hold of more drugs; Carol advises Whitney to move on from her failed relationship with Billie; Heather and Shirley struggle to keep their home when the bailiffs start paying visits; and Harry furiously knees Darren in the privates.

Glenda tells Ronnie the shocking truth
Airs on Tuesday, August 17 2010 19:30 BST on BBC One

Peggy confronts Glenda in the R&R toilets about knowing that Archie abused Ronnie. As she does, Ronnie walks in, but Glenda doesn't reveal what they were talking about and walks out with Ronnie. Jack soon opens some champagne and Glenda makes a toast to her daughters as Peggy storms out, sickened. Glenda follows Peggy, spitefully saying that Ronnie won't believe her, but Peggy warns that she'll make Glenda tell the truth.

Glenda rushes over to explain herself, thinking that Peggy has already told the truth. She drops herself in it.
Glenda drunkenly continues to order drinks at the bar, but fear strikes her when she sees Peggy talking to Ronnie. Glenda rushes over to explain herself, thinking that Peggy has already told the truth, but she drops herself in it as Peggy hadn't yet revealed anything. Ronnie is horrified and soon tells Glenda that she wants to know the truth. After Glenda admits that she can't excuse herself and there's nothing she can say, Ronnie tells Glenda that she will never be her mum. Roxy rushes home, packs up Amy's stuff and tells Glenda that she will never see her again. Glenda is left sobbing on the sofa as Jack holds Ronnie tightly.

Meanwhile, desperate for more funds to buy drugs, Phil heads over to the Arches, where he finds the cash box as Minty and Ricky return. Seeing that Phil is demonic, Minty calmly tells Phil to put the money back, but Phil threatens him. Minty quickly slams the door and locks him in, as a furious Phil threatens to kill him. Minty and Ricky run to Shirley's for help, so she goes to visit Phil in the Arches and the door is locked behind her.

Shirley comforts Phil, telling him that he can get clean.
Shirley tries to reason with Phil, touching his cheek as she explains that she knows he is using drugs but is confident he can get clean. Phil tells her that he just wants his kids, so Shirley says he should let her help. Later, Shirley chucks Rainie out of Phil's flat before discovering that he is stealing money she left on the table. Shirley orders Phil to choose between drugs and her - and is left broken when he takes the money and leaves.

Elsewhere, Heather is heartbroken when bailiffs chuck her and Shirley out of the flat, and she's later angry when she realises that Phil will always come first for her best friend.

Glenda turns up at R&R, wanting to explain herself.
Peggy wants to cheer up Ronnie and suggests having a family dinner. Ronnie tries to be upbeat and agrees to go, but her confidence cracks when Glenda turns up at R&R and wants to explain herself. Jack wastes no time in telling Glenda to leave. Later, at The Vic, Glenda has a talk with Peggy and implores her for a second chance with her daughters, but Ronnie is furious when she sees her. Glenda pleads with Ronnie, and even Peggy starts to feel sorry for Glenda so she tells Ronnie that, despite everything, Glenda is still her mum. However, after Ronnie and Roxy both say that Peggy is more of a mum than Glenda has ever been, Peggy tells Glenda to leave. Peggy then apologises to Ronnie for having not believed her before about Archie, and Ronnie accepts her apology.

At the end of the family meal Aunt Sal and Peggy have a heated row, as Sal feels left out.
Later, at the family meal, Aunt Sal and Peggy have a heated row as Sal feels left out. Sal's words strike a chord with Peggy as she argues that the people present at the meal are not her close, blood family. Peggy realises that what she really wants is Phil, so she heads over to number 27 to find him and apologise. When she arrives, she discovers him sat on the living room floor, off his head, with drug paraphernalia strewn on the floor around him. Peggy is shocked to the core.

Harry argues with Max and Vanessa outside Max's house.
Meanwhile, Max asks Darren why someone would want to knee him out of the blue, but Darren insists he doesn't know why it happened. Soon afterwards, they discover Harry flinging Vanessa's bags onto the steps to Max's house. Harry has kicked Vanessa out, thinking she has been having an affair with Darren. When Harry realises it is actually Max who is involved with Vanessa, he has a public argument with them both outside Max's house. Max is left humiliated, while Jodie watches on in horror. Darren hurries over to her, but she's angry at him for lying about being in Bognor at a conference and is shocked at what happened between her mum and dad. After Jodie tells Darren that she doesn't want to see him, Darren is livid and blames Max for the whole situation.

Meanwhile, Carol goes on her date with Lewis; Shirley apologises to Heather for choosing Phil over her the night before; Peggy tells Billy that he and Jay can move into The Vic; Zsa Zsa asks Mercy for a place to stay; and Shirley calls together an emergency meeting in a bid to help Phil.
