You may be right, but in that case I think it is badly written. Would she drive to Emmerdale to confront Dan in front of a pub full of people, or would she stay at the hospital or go home and keep her head down? This is certainly been written for drama but I am not sure how real it is.

I know what your'e saying, but sometimes rational people get so incensed about being fooled by someone they love that they just cannot believe they were so easily manipulated into trusting them.
