Moira Barton and Amy Wyatt are back in the village after doing a runner to Belfast

But while both his mum and girlfriend were on the run, Matty Barton (Ash Palmisciano) began to suspect that their departure had something to do with Amy's young son, Kyle...

Matty is upset that they kept the SHOCK SECRET from him.

But Amy's number one priority now is protecting Kyle from being identified as the person who really pulled the trigger of the shotgun which killed Al Chapman in the barn at Butler's Farm on that fateful day...

Matty reels when Amy makes it clear that their relationship is now over!

Meanwhile, little do the family know, but Kyle has been left traumatised by recent events.

In the barn, the young lad makes a memorial for Al...

Vinny Dingle (Bradley Johnson) is still struggling with life after losing his wife, Liv Flaherty, during the terrible storm in October.

Jimmy King (Nick Miles) has a heart-to-heart with Vinny about love and loss.

Don't forget, Jimmy's three brothers, Matthew, Carl and Max plus his dad, Tom, all died in SHOCK circumstances after moving to Emmerdale Village.

Jimmy finds a way to cheer-up Vinny, with a game of poker in the pub.

The fellas are joined by Will Taylor (Dean Andrews), Ryan Stocks (James Moore), David Metclafe (Matthew Wolfenden) and Mackenzie Boyd (Lawrence Robb).

But WHY does Mackenzie worry when a flash stranger, Darren (played by ex-Hollyoaks star Kyle Pryor) enters The Woolpack?

Bernice Blackstock (Samantha Giles) is horrified at the discovery she is going through the menopause.

It was the last thing she expected to hear after booking an appointment with local doctor, Liam Cavanagh (Jonny McPherson).

Despite the support of her daughter, Gabby Thomas (Rosie Bentham), and family friend, Rhona Goskirk (Zoe Henry), Bernice struggles to handle her symptoms and feels very much alone...

Up at Home Farm, Kim Tate (Claire King) has a meeting with Darren about her plans to run a Stud Farm.

But assistant, Gabby, is left feeling foolish after making an embarassing mistake at the meeting.

She's annoyed when Kim's stepdaughter, Dawn Taylor (Olivia Bromley), steps up and impresses Kim.

Gabby is not happy when Kim later suggests a job-share between her and Dawn!

Chloe Harris's (Jessie Elland) investigation into discovering WHO Al Chapman was having an affair with before his death, has already ruffled feathers in the village

On tonight's DOUBLE-BILL of the ITV soap, Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins) updates family relative, Belle Dingle (Eden Taylor-Draper) about Chloe's quest.

But when Belle later teases her married cousin, Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter) about cheating on her husband, Paddy Kirk (Dominic Brunt), Belle is left suspicious by Chas's strange reaction.

Will Belle start doing her own digging into the case of Al's MYSTERY woman... and get closer to discovering the terrible truth?

Moira Dingle (Natalie J Robb) visits her husband, Cain (Jeff Hordley) behind bars.

She's worried about how quickly their secret is spreading.

Now that Moira's son, Matty Barton (Ash Palmisciano), knows the truth about what really happened in the barn on that fateful day that Al Chapman was shot DEAD, how much longer will it be before the KILLER SECRET gets out to others?

Back at Butler's Farm, Matty is alarmed when he discovers Cain's young son, Kyle Winchester (Huey Quinn), has assembled a collection of rocks as a memorial on the spot where Al died...

Can the family find a way to help Kyle with his trauma without revealing him as Al's real killer?

April Windsor (Amelia Flanagan) and Cathy Hope (Gabrielle Dowling) became friends again, even after Cathy was revealed to be April's online bully last year.

However, now a bit of boy trouble has caused the school girls to fall out again!

Things get competitive between April and Cathy after village vicar, Charles Anderson (Kevin Mathurin), invites them both to audition for the church choir.

Both are determined to ace the audition.

However, the odds may be in April's favour after Cathy breaks down on stage...

Elsewhere in the village, Vinny Dingle (Bradley Johnson), Jimmy King (Nick Miles) and Mackenzie Boyd (Lawrence Robb) meet for a SECRET poker game after yesterday's excitement in the pub.

However, when Jimmy accidentally lets slip to Vinny's mum, Mandy (Lisa Riley), about his Poker playing, she fears Vinny could be turning into a gambling addict just like his late dad, Paul Ashdale...

Is horrible history in danger of repeating itself?

Dawn Taylor (played by Olivia Bromley) has turned down a job offer to work at Home Farm on Emmerdale

Former factory worker, Dawn, is just not sure she's got what it takes to follow in the footsteps of her new stepmum, Kim Tate (Claire King).

Plus, there's childcare to consider for Dawn's young children, Lucas and Clemmie.

However, Rhona Goskirk (Zoe Henry) reckons Dawn is selling herself short.

Dawn has been a big help while she's been working at the village vet surgery.

WHY couldn't she now learn the ways of bossy businesswoman, Kim?

With a spring in her step, Dawn has a change-of-heart about the job offer, much to Kim's delight.

However, Gabby Thomas (Rosie Bentham) is not happy.

She thought the job was already hers for the taking!

Gabby is secretly seething when Kim sets a challenge for both her and Dawn to work shadow Kim at Home Farm over the next few months.

After that, Kim will decide which of the ladies is most suitable for the job.

It looks like it's game on between Dawn and Gabby to impress potential boss, Kim!

Up at Butler's Farm, everybody is on edge after Matty Barton (Ash Palmisciano) caught troubled Kyle Winchester (Huey Quinn) building a memorial for DEAD Al Chapman in the farm barn.

Matty is worried it's too soon for Kyle to return to school.

What if the school boy's KILLER SECRET somehow gets out?

Kyle's mum, Amy Wyatt (Natalie-Ann Jamieson), is determined to go about things as normal.

But as Amy helps Kyle get ready for his first day back at school, Matty and his mum, Moira (Natalie J Robb) are both anxious about what could happen...

Elsewhere in the village, Marlon Dingle (Mark Charnock) is excited about his long-awaited return to The Woolpack as pub chef.

The poker game attracts other villagers and Vinny is soon in his element. Mackenzie is distracted by the arrival of flash Darren, who is interested in the game.

Meanwhile, Gabby rises to the challenge, but Dawn impresses more.

Elsewhere, Bernice struggles to digest her diagnosis as she grapples with both loneliness and menopausal symptoms.

Also today, Moira and Amy have returned from Belfast and the atmosphere is frosty. Matty is still upset that Moira and Amy kept Kyle's secret from him. Amy insists their relationship is over, determined to make Kyle her priority from now on.

Matty finds a collection of rocks placed in the middle of the barn and realises Kyle is creating a memorial for Al.

Elsewhere, Bernice believes in fate.

Also today, the rivalry for the choir auditions hasn't abated. Cathy panics as she watches Ethan belt out a Mariah Carey hit. April is concerned when Cathy breaks down on stage. Confused, Bob worries for his daughter. The next day, Cathy and April make up.

Finally, Charity updates Belle on Chloe's antics. When Charity teases Chas about cheating on Paddy, Belle is immediately suspicious of Chas' cagey reaction.
