Are soap scriptwriters afraid to decide on a storyline where a teenage girl has sex with an older bloke she knows is in a relationship to go and get the morning after pill before tormenting viewers with another illegitimate baby ruining a relationship? And why oh why has nobody ever thought of protection? I know Chloe is not in a relationship right now but usually girls her age are on the pill? I appreciate Mac would not have had a packet of condoms on him seeing their encounter was not planned... I am sick of these storylines![]()

I can just about accept that that Charity might think she is in love with Al. But I find it harder to believe that Al could actually love anyone but himself. I think for Al it's "the thrill of the chase" but when that is successful he soon tires and want to move on to a new chase. Charity has always been drawn to a bad boy, thinking the "grass is always greener" but I think with Al she would have been happy to keep him as "a bit on the side" but now she has been stampeded into a deeper relationship by Al and she does not know how to get out of it or gain control again. Al is a slimy toad and Charity is selfish and never happy with what she has. The way she said to Aaron that Paddy would be able to see their daughter anytime he wants, as if that makes everything OK shows how selfish she is and that she has not really thought about the consequences of her actions.

I take it that the Neil Diamond tribute act was chosen because there is some likeness if the light is not very bright but he was not chosen because he sounded like him ...![]()
