When Kim said "if Jamie was here, he would have come back and taken Millie", did it not occur to her that he could get Millie from his mum. Especially the way his mum and Millie were behaving when they came to the village.

Well he already has Millie, we the viewers know he is living with Millie and Andrea's mother at their house. It just appears they have moved to a different location now, following the Dawn and Gabby visit.

In my post I said "his mum" when I meant to say "Andrea's mum" so my post made no sense. I still do not understand why someone who is suppose to be as clever is Kim would not realize this.

they were separated getting divorced not amicable so id say andrea would have told her mother as the mother was not found of kim either

Well he had a new girlfriend in Dawn for a while, then another girlfriend in Gabby, and made her pregnant, then tried to get back with Dawn again, so I'm pretty sure that Andrea would have told her mother some of this at least.
