I must have dozed off, but what exactly did Mr Thorne do to Peter, apart from doing the operation in record time and taking a photo? Did he actually botch it. Without the operation Peter would likely be dead by now.

I'm still not getting all this with the investigation into Thorne. What's happened to the hospital's own investigation based on Aggie's initial complaint? It was during their investigation that the infamous photo turned up. What Peter does is neither here nor there. Are they not following up on that? Are they still investigating? If not, why not?
