I am really sorry this story has been put on the back burner. I really want to know how it plays out. I have no interest in any of the current stories. David's story is just silly, and I am not sure if it makes me a bad person but I have no interest in poor little Oliver. Maggie only started at the hospital recently but she already seems to be running the place already. As for her family I find them incredible boring. The racism story just seems to be a nod to Eastenders. The way the Bailey family has been written as a stereotypical black family I feel is a bit racist in itself.

It did not take long for that old Soap cliche where people shout at hospital doctors to raise it's head. I wish they would just forget about it now and again.
How many times has The Bistro opened or reopened and still people get excited about it.

I noticed in last night’s episode, Aggie Bailey said she’d “Got a shift tonight.”
In so many episodes I hear characters talking about ‘a shift’, rather than just ‘going to work’.
Do people really say shift as opposed to work in real life?
I understand perhaps they’re nurses or police who often do rotating shifts. Usually then, the people I remember used to say working nights, or earlies, but not really ‘shifts’.
Even the bar staff at the Rovers use the word shift as well.
