One of the biggest criticisms of this storyline is that Yasmeen started out as a fairly strong character and now she's allowing herself to be manipulated and controlled by Geoff. But I'm wondering if this is why Geoff is trying to control her in the first place - he's threatened by strong women and feels he has to "cut her down to size", if I can put it that way. A bit creepy, of course, but it's a possibility.

I think that is the reason or part of it in all abuse cases...
