Neighbours' seemingly-reformed villain Finn Kelly will escape a prison sentence next week – but it's not long before he faces a fresh wave of serious allegations.
Finn (Rob Mills) is about to appear in court over his many crimes, but a number of twists and turns work in his favour over the coming days.
As we've already revealed, Susan Kennedy (Jackie Woodburne) speaks up for Finn at his all-important hearing later this week – convinced that he's a new man after losing his memory.
Bea Nilsson (Bonnie Anderson) also voices her support for Finn, impressed when she spots her ex-lover risk his own safety to save Susan in a hit and run incident outside the hospital.
Next week's episodes see Elly Conway reluctantly join the queue of Finn fans, refusing to condemn him in court after being blackmailed by his half-brother Shaun Watkins.
When Shaun discovers that he's the father of Elly's unborn baby, he promises to keep quiet if she helps him to make sure that Finn walks free.
The three generous court statements against Finn work wonders at the hearing – as does Imogen Willis's convincing defence that he's no longer a danger to the community.
The judge decides that Finn won't need to serve any jail time, but since he now needs a place to stay as part of the court's conditions, Shaun forces Elly to convince the Kennedys to take him in.
Unsurprisingly, Finn's arrival on Ramsay Street doesn't go down well with everyone – least of all Ned Willis (Ben Hall), who fears the worst when he sees Bea in the same room as a freshly-showered Finn.
Finn later hopes to win over his new neighbours by handing out some of Karl's homegrown produce as a peace offering to everyone, but this also leads to disaster.
Susan finds a razorblade in one of the apricots and soon realises that everyone on the street who has received the fruit is at risk.
As the Kennedys rush to warn everyone about the contaminated fruit, Toadie manages to save baby Hugo from a close call. Sadly, Aaron Brennan isn't so lucky and ends up with a nasty cut to his hand.
The community is quick to suspect that Finn is responsible, although the Kennedys argue that it could be somebody seeking revenge against them for taking Finn in.
Ned and Toadie remain far from impressed, pointing out that they've brought danger upon everyone by bringing Finn to Ramsay Street either way. Who's responsible for the mysterious incident?
Neighbours airs these scenes on Thursday, April 25 and Friday, April 26 at 1.45pm and 5.30pm on Channel 5 (UK) and 6.30pm on 10 Peach (Australia).
