I was actually shocked tonight, we had a normal every day scene. Customers buying food from Dev's. Tracey Baked Beans, and fog horn buying a loaf of bread.

Memo to Kate Oates, more of this please!

Carla? Sinead? No contest is it. Daniel fill your boots.

Smiled at Steve being called Mr Barlow.

I did find Shona hilarious tonight at the thought of boxing against Maria. Maria's face.

Yes, yes, yes! flappinfanny, I do agree with you: More of this please.
If it carries on in this vein, it will be going back to the Corro we all used to love. No more of this Phelan rubbish, please.

    Foghorn?
I hadn't yet watched the episode. I had do so, to see who you were referring to - it was Sean. I was expecting it to be Beth.
I liked the fact Sean called the Job Centre "The joke shop".

It made me think of Fred the butcher. He always used to repeat phrases, like Foghorn the cartoon character. "How much? I said how much?" But I don't remember him using the word "Boy", like the original character used to.

Earlier, Tracy and Beth were talking in Dev's about kids. Tracy (to Dev): "Believe me, I'd have Amy up a chimmney if it were legal."

Robert ran up to Zeedan and asked, "Please tell me that's extra virgin in the bag." I'm guessing Robert must have been referring to olive oil?
Perhaps I'm reading too much into it, but seeing as Zeedan had just found out about his wife's affair with Kate, I found that funny.

I take it the bottle of "Fleming & Gayre single malt" Zeedan was drinking wasn't product placement? I've never heard of it before.

Daniel to Carla: "How are you getting on with James George?" (referring to Daniel's book). Carla: "I'm still looking for the pictures."

As regulars here will know I am not a great fan of Tracy Barlow, but I did have to laugh out loud when she handed Gemma her food tonight to throw over Henry.

Yes i think our Enry is falling for Gemma. Peter is a moaning old woman nowdays. They made Gemma almost Lady like tonight. It was a better episode without all that Phelan clap trap. It is a shame we know where the David storyline is going. Why oh why Corrie must you reveal everything. We like surprises.

Yes, the few episodes we've had without Phelan in recently have been noticeably better. Still just under 3 months to go......
