Emmerdale will air sad scenes next week as the Dingle family are rocked by the sad death of their beloved dog Alfie.
The tragedy will kick off after Alfie collapses during Lisa and Zak's latest argument over the future of Wishing Well Cottage.
After a trip to the vet, the Dingles are heartbroken to learn that Alfie has cancer and ultimately decide to put him down so he's not in any more pain.
But as the clan grieve for their pet – who has been on the show since 2002 – things get out of hand at Alfie's funeral when scheming Morris turns up and behaves disrespectfully.
With emotions running high, Lisa ends up punching him – before staging a protest with Zak by camping outside Wishing Well.
Feeling guilty over the Dingles suffering, Pollard eventually decides to take matters into his own hands and breaks into Morris' house with Faith in a bid to get hold of the compromising email.
But will he be caught re-handed? And how much longer can Pollard keep his secret?
