Coming up on Coronation Street, Rana Nazir tries to make Kate Connor see sense as she considers betraying her father's trust.

Next week's episodes see Johnny (Richard Hawley) open up to Kate by revealing that he's been officially diagnosed with MS following his latest hospital appointment.

Johnny makes it very clear to Kate (Faye Brookes) that he doesn't want anyone else to know about his condition – especially his wife-to-be Jenny Bradley, as he doesn't want her to feel pressured into becoming his carer.

Despite Johnny's insistence on secrecy, Rana (Bhavna Limbachia) ends up getting involved when he suffers a fall while home alone in his flat.

Rana helps out by tending to a nasty gash on Johnny's forehead, but her involvement strays beyond being professional when the Underworld boss then begs her for help.

After Kate declares that she can't keep the secret and vows to tell Aidan everything, Johnny begs Rana to find Kate and stop her from telling all.

Bursting in on Kate just as she's sitting down for a heart-to-heart with Aidan in the factory office, Rana urges Kate to let Johnny tell Aidan about his condition in his own time. Will Kate listen?
