Fractured Family. VJ Confronts Zac Over His Betrayal Of Leah.

Zac thought confessing to Leah was hard, but he's in for a world of pain when VJ learns his cheating secret & kicks him to the curb! Will it tear their family apart?

This week in Home and Away, VJ (Matt Little) is struggling to cope with the pressure of raising baby Luc & completing his studies.

After much resistance, his mum, Leah, & Irene convince the teen to relinquish some of his parental duties.

"VJ hasn't allowed himself to grieve properly, so he doesn't make logical decisions," Matt, 24, tells TV WEEK. "The more he powers on, the more things start breaking away."

Meanwhile, Leah is reeling after Zac revealed he cheated on her with Sam. It hasn't been a good week for the family.

The pain is too much for poor Leah & she tells VJ she's making a quick trip to see her parents. In reality, Leah just needs to escape. She and Zac agree to keep their problems private, leaving VJ - and everyone else - none the wiser as to why she really left.

But in a small town like Summer Bay, no secret is kept quiet for long.

At the house, Zac tries to text & email his wife to no avail. When VJ happily announces he feels like he's turned a corner & is ready to get Luc back, Zac barely acknowledges he's there.

VJ questions whether everything is OK. But keeping to his word, Zac denies anything is wrong.

Later, however, VJ is on the computer & notices Zac has an email reply from Leah. In it, she tells Zac to leave her alone - he cheated on her & she can't bring herself to forgive him yet.

"When VJ stumbles across the email, it gives him the information that was right there in front of him the whole time - why his mum was so upset & why she went away, & why Zac was acting so strangely," Matt explains.

VJ angrily confronts Zac & demands an answer. Zac admits the truth & begs him for forgiveness. Nice try Zac, but no such luck.

Instead, VJ shouts at him for breaking his mum's heart - he'll never forgive him for what he has done. Will Zac's shocking revelations send VJ into a dark spiral?

"Zac confirms he cheated on Leah," Matt says. "Zac & Leah are his only protection and family, which is sacred to VJ. So on top of Billie's death, to find out that one of those people was hurting the other, it breaks his world apart."

VJ wants him out of the house - and fast. Zac protests, but in the face of VJ's lashing, arguing is futile.

"Their relationship shifts," Matt reveals. "He doesn't look up to him as a father figure anymore. VJ just sees him as this broken man & doesn't respect him."


Morag Returns! The Lively Lawyer Arrives In Summer Bay For John's Trial.

He's responsible for the bushfire that wreaked havoc across Summer Bay. Now John's facing his fate. But if anyone can keep John from a lifetime in jail it's Morag Bellingham.

This week, Marilyn is frantic with desperation as she organises John's appointments and character witnesses. Meanwhile, John (Shane Withington) appears almost cavalier about his impending trial.

"Marilyn is cross because he keeps telling her everything will be fine," Shane, 58, tells TV WEEK. "In reality, John just doesn't want to know what he's in for."

Later, Marilyn asks Alf if Morag would be willing to help. However, a despondent John informs his wife their finances don't cover her costs. He is appointed a Legal Aid lawyer.

But John & Marilyn aren't impressed with their lawyer, Lachlan Piers, who is nonchalant about John's case.

"John explains the story about his brain tumour to Lachlan, who tells John 'Oh, we'll plead insanity,' followed by a wink," Shane says. "They immediately think, 'Is this the right person?'"

Marilyn vents her frustration to Irene & Roo, who calls Morag to help, no matter the cost. However, when Morag arrives, she informs them they have a lot of work to do & it won't be easy.
