Well, how would you explain why they couldn't attend the wedding? The producers could recast the roles, but then viewers would riot. The actors are likely not available - so really, what do you expect the producers to do?

They could say Lauren's kids don't support the wedding - not an unrealistic scenario. I reckon they'll go down that route.

Happens all time and we as viewers know the actors can't or won't return for an episode or two. The same old excuses will be trotted out. The baby is sick so Amber can't make it. Imogen is too busy being condescending. yada yada yada

I know there are a lot of Typer fans, and that the actress who plays Piper is an adult, but I really think their relationship on the show is so inappropriate. I don't want to be the prude, but making them sleep together has really crossed the line. It's like we just choose to ignore how foul it is that he is an adult and she is still legally a child. It's weird how Angus and Elly was seen as gross (excluding the fact it was not mutual attraction) it was still an inappropriate relationship because of the age but it doesn't seem to transcend to Typer...very odd.

I agree with you about Tyler and Piper, PennyMartin, and I'm very glad I didn't have to witness them sleeping together. I'm taking a break from Neighbours at the moment because I'm finding it painful to watch - what with Tyler and Piper, Paige and Jack, and the awful surrogate storyline.

In don't understand why the writers couldn't have just made piper turn 18 instead of 17 at her last birthday. The actress is almost 21 so it would be believable

I think that the Typer pairing wrong if he was 18/19 not that big a deal but Tyler is what 24/25 or something that is a massive age gap no way this relationship will last. Mark and Paige failed Naomi and Paul and there is probably lots of other examples.

I think with Elly and Angus she was his teacher and also older than Tyler - early 30's? I have no issues with age difference as long as both are at least 17 or 18.

Anyway I called it - Amber's daughter was sick!

Lauren didnt seem that bothered her kids weren't at the wedding ... spoke volumes. And as for the vows ... gosh cringworthy big style .... all that crap about fate. The original story line was a quickie in the boat shed (mirrors of Jack and Paige)... and back to normality for Brad with his then girlfriend .... and likewise Jack back to the church.

Paige's outburst to Jack about how she couldn't understand how he went back to the church after their quickie showed how shallow Paige really is (like wise Jack his part). I will be glad when Paige leaves the programme - she is such a negative influence on the nice people who didn't deserve her outbursts and blame gaming .... hence the demise of Laurens own family at Paige's tactics.
