David busies himself with Max and Lily, determined to stay strong for them. Gail and Audrey are both concerned as they watch him.
Gail assures Michael that her feelings haven't changed, but she suggests they put their relationship on hold for the time being as she needs to concentrate on David and the kids. Michael is understanding.
Later, Leanne offers a sympathetic ear to Nick. The rest of the residents are also left reeling as news of Kylie's untimely death travels around the street.
Meanwhile, Leanne meets up with Steph for a drink in the Bistro, but she is suddenly overcome by a wave of nausea. Steph guesses that Leanne is pregnant.
Elsewhere, Caz approaches Kate hoping to talk, but Kate gives her the cold shoulder. Maria is sympathetic and assures Caz that she'll come round given time. When Maria invites Caz to move in with her while she tries to build bridges with Kate, Caz is touched and accepts.
Also, with the factory short-staffed, Jenny suggests Johnny gives her a trial as a machinist. Sally is sceptical about her sewing skills but Jenny sets about proving her wrong.

The David Platt of old rears his head, as David is determined to point the finger of blame at someone for Kylie's death.
Like a man possessed, David turns into a one man vigilante.
Meanwhile, Leanne pours her heart out to Steph and admits that she is pregnant, but refuses to reveal who the father is. Steph promises not to breathe a word.
Elsewhere, Kate confides in Sophie about how stupid she feels for believing Caz's lies. Sophie is sympathetic and agrees to meet her for a drink after work. At the same time, Luke is put out to find that Caz has moved into the flat. Maria is irritated by his attitude and assures Caz that she is welcome for as long as she likes. As Kate and Sophie head to the pub arm in arm, Caz watches from a distance and is consumed with jealousy.
Also, the factory girls gather round Jenny's machine and cheer her on, but Jenny is disappointed when the material snags and realises she has failed the test. Johnny assures Jenny that he was impressed with her first attempt and she mustn't give up. Jenny is cheered by his words.
Wednesday 1930
David stares at Kylie's empty chair across the breakfast table, with his heart breaking that she has gone forever. Gail is desperately worried for him.
Later, David and Bethany visit Sarah in hospital and break the news to her of Kylie's death. Sarah becomes jittery, convinced Callum is in some way connected to it. David then visits Kylie in the chapel of rest and tells her how much he loves her and misses her.
Meanwhile, Simon confides in Amy that Leanne is behaving strangely and he is worried she might have cancer. While Leanne is distracted, Simon checks her phone. When he sees a text confirming a doctor's appointment, a worried Simon shows it to Amy.
Elsewhere, Sally is delighted when she receives some parcels from Rosie in London, including a lovely throw. When Tim suggests they invite the Nazirs round for drinks and bury the hatchet, Sally reckons it's a terrible idea. Yasmeen calls at Number 4 and shows Sally a delivery card from the post office, asking her if she has taken delivery of her new throw. Sally denies all knowledge and the two women bicker. Dragging Sally back inside, Tim tells Yasmeen and Sharif they'll see them later for drinks.
Also today, Jenny meets up with Johnny for an after hours sewing lesson and the chemistry between them is evident. Soon they kiss passionately.
Friday 1930
Leanne makes Simon promise to keep the baby a secret, but she refuses to discuss who the dad is. Simon is hurt and Leanne feels guilty. As Simon passes Liz and Michelle, his shopping bag splits and a babygrow falls out. Leanne rushes over and quickly covers, making out it's for a friend of hers.
Leanne confides in Steph that she's going to break the news to the father of her baby. Leanne hugs Simon and assures him she'll love him just as much as her new child. Leanne heads to The Rovers, but realising her news would be best delivered without an audience, she phones the daddy and summons him outside...
Meanwhile, an excited Sally reveals to Tim that the Mayor of Weatherfield and his partner will attending their soiree. At the same time, Yasmeen sets about drumming up guests for her rival party. With the party in full swing, Sally enjoys playing hostess. Ken, Norris and Freddie tuck into the canapés while Craig waits on. When Martin the Mayor arrives with his partner Terence, Sally is put out to see they've brought their dog with them.
In contrast, Yasmeen's soiree is a scant affair with few guests and the thumping music from next door only highlighting the downbeat mood. As Sally lights the sparklers on her croquembouche, angry Yasmeen barges her way in, demanding they turn their music down. To Sally's horror, the Mayor's dog escapes through the open front door.
Friday 2030
As Leanne confronts the unsuspecting dad, he is shellshocked at the news. The row escalates when he rounds on her, calling her irresponsible.
Leanne assures him that she doesn't want any money and doesn't expect him to play any part in their child's life. He is horrified to realise she intends to keep the baby. Leanne explains to the father how this could be her last chance to have a child. Despondent, he is forced to agree.
Meanwhile, Sally's party guests search in vain for the Mayor's dog. Sally blames Yasmeen, pointing out that if she hadn't barged her way in, the dog wouldn't be missing. Sally lambasts Yasmeen, telling her that if they don't find the Mayor's dog, she'll be a laughing stock at the Town Hall and it'll be the end of her career.
Feeling desperate, Sally opens up to Yasmeen and explains how she came from a rough background and has only ever wanted to better herself. Yasmeen softens towards her and suggests they're two of a kind. Sally and Yasmeen return to Number 4 firm friends. They're taken aback to find Sharif, Tim, Martin, Terence and their dog watching a DVD.
Elsewhere, realising she's been stood up by Johnny and masking her disappointment, Jenny heads to The Rovers for a drink with Kevin. Still cut up over Caz, Kate asks Johnny to spend the evening in with her. Johnny hasn't the heart to tell her that he should be on a date with Jenny. Later, Johnny finally calls for Jenny and apologises profusely, explaining that he had a family crisis. Jenny is sympathetic but insists they call it a night. Johnny is disappointed.
Also, Mary is flattered, but assures Dev that he passed out drunk at the spa hotel and nothing happened between them.
Finally, Gail and Audrey arrive home to find David, Max and Lily colouring in at the table. David explains they're making things for Kylie's funeral. Gail is choked with emotion.
