Andy Flynn has seemingly been hiding a big secret - he's homeless.

Fans were given their first glimpse of the new character's troubles in Thursday night's episode (April 28), when he was shown squatting at Number 5 after dark.

Andy had appeared cagey when Stacey Branning (Lacey Turner) caught him hanging around the cafe late in the evening, making the excuse that he was just killing time before going out clubbing with friends.

Eagle-eyed Stacey later saw Andy heading into the empty Number 5, where building work is currently taking place after Jack Branning bought the property and decided to turn it into flats.

Andy only had a blanket from his backpack to make himself comfortable and was clearly struggling with his difficult personal circumstances.

Viewers will have to stay tuned to see what's next for Andy, but he'll continue to feature prominently over the next few episodes as he gets closer to Stacey and also tempts Martin Fowler with a dodgy deal.

Andy, played by Jack Derges, made his first appearance on EastEnders last month when he was introduced as a friend of Linford Short.

Despite originally appearing to be a background character, he's since featured on screen more regularly. He's still thought to be filming on the show too, so there's plenty more to come from the mysterious Andy over the next few weeks.

All eyes will be on EastEnders builder Andy Flynn tonight (May 9) as he has a heart-to-heart with Ronnie Mitchell - but is it all part of a much darker plan?

Andy (Jack Derges) was at the centre of a big surprise last week, as it was revealed that he had a secret file full of newspaper cuttings and information about Ronnie.

The shock scene suggested that Andy is the secret stalker who's been tormenting Ronnie from afar over the past few weeks, but she's currently totally oblivious to the hidden agenda behind his charms.

Official spoilers have revealed that the storyline will continue in tonight's episode as Andy gets a chance to bond with Ronnie even further.

With Andy continuing to hang around, Ronnie ends up having a surprising heart-to-heart with him - and his words may well hit home just when she has a big decision to make.

When Jack makes a surprising suggestion to Ronnie about their living arrangements after last week's dramas with Roxy, she's torn about what to do. After speaking to Andy, Ronnie decides to agree to Jack's suggestion and it seems that Andy's words have hit home.

Andy has managed to get very close to Ronnie recently and she trusts him completely, but could she live to regret it?

EastEnders airs tonight (May 9) at 8pm on BBC One.

Kat's son has apparently been cast for Redwater, plus there wouldn't be much point making a drama about Kat going to find her son if he's already in Albert Square.

EastEnders has just revealed another shocking secret about Andy the builder - he knows Ronnie's late daughter Danielle.

Viewers are already aware that Andy has a strange obsession with Ronnie Mitchell and keeps a folder full of newspaper clippings relating to her dark past.

However, the mystery continued to unravel in tonight's instalment when Kyle Slater (Riley Carter Millington) stumbled across a very incriminating photo.

Kyle found a picture of Andy with Danielle amongst the builder's belongings, but the significance of the photo was lost on him because he never knew Ronnie's daughter.

The latest twist will undoubtedly raise further questions amongst fans, as Andy's interest in Ronnie may be even darker than first thought.

Danielle (Lauren Crace) was killed in 2009 after she was run over by Janine Butcher's car, but long-term viewers may also remember that she shared a close friendship with Stacey Branning prior to that.

This could explain why Andy has seemingly been keen to strike up bonds with both Stacey and Ronnie, but how did he know Danielle? And what does he want with Ronnie?

Andy is played by actor Jack Derges and has been appearing in EastEnders since March.

Yeah. Last eps seem to confirm that, or the fact that he's least someone who knew her. I suppose he could always be a former lover or something like that out for revenge, but the brother theory sounds more plausible.

EastEnders builder Andy is set to kill Roxy Mitchell in a twisted revenge attack at Ronnie, according to the latest rumours.

The mysterious builder's obsession with Ronnie Mitchell was exposed just a few weeks ago when Stacey's brother Kyle found pictures of Ronnie's daughter Danielle in Andy's rucksack.

Andy, played by Cucumber actor Jack Derges, has been getting closer to Ronnie and it seems his play to avenge Danielle's death, it to take out those closer to the fiesty Mitchell blonde.

How far will Andy go?

On Friday's episode Ronnie saw Andy kiss her sister but things will progress even further.

"I hope he knows what he's letting himself in for," said Jack, as they watched them kiss,

"I want to take you for a proper meal, one with actual plates. Not a chip fork in sight," said Andy, after recovering from their impromptu lunch in the park - which saw Roxy end up punching him in the face.

"I hope it was worth the bloody nose?" she added, seemingly happy with her choice.

Andy smirked and said: "Yeah, definitely."


After seeing Andy's face viewers started speculating.

The mysterious builder has been acting shiftily in Walford for weeks, with his flirting with Stacey Fowler and his creepy obsession with Ronnie Mitchell, even going as far as keeping a file on her in his bag.


Viewers of the show will remember that back in 2009, runaway Danielle was revealed to be Ronnie's daughter shortly before she was run over and killed.

She died in Ronnie's arms outside the station, and the moment changed Ronnie forever.

Since then she has been harassed by an unknown force, who she thought was her ex-boyfriend Joel's daughter, and after seeing her out of Walford, thought her ordeal was over.

But it seems now that it's only just beginning.
