TV Week Soap Diary for Home and Away (Aus) 18 - 21 April 2016:

Monday 18 April

- Kyle is shocked when Isla turns up at his house with an interesting suggestion.
- With her mind still on Brax's text message, will Ricky still go ahead with the wedding?
- Kat becomes wary of Dylan's erratic behaviour.

Tuesday 19 April

- It's the morning of Ricky & Nate's wedding & he's feeling confident.
- Ash warns Dylan to stay away from his family.
- Kyle wonders if these are his last moments of freedom.

Wednesday 20 April

- Ash offers Kat support, telling her he's worried for her safety.
- Kyle's court case is falling apart. Will he save himself & turn in Isla?
- Kat joins forces with Morag to dig up some dirt on Dylan.

Thursday 21 April

- Olivia decides to talk to Hunter about her situation.
- Tank's return to Summer Bay unsettles the town.
- Evie & Josh decide it's time to publically announce their engagement


TV Week also mentions: "Will Ricky miss her own wedding?...... The bride-to-be is left stranded on her wedding day when her car breaks down on route to the ceremony. Meanwhile, nervous groom Nate waits for Ricky. And waits......Eventually he's faced with a heartbreaking reality - his bride may never show up! "He thinks Ricky may have second thoughts & might not be going forward with the wedding," Kyle Pryor previews........ A week earlier, Brax sent Ricky a text message: "Heard about the big day. Congrats. Glad you're happy. Brax.". The message saw Ricky have an emotional breakdown, where she started to question whether she should be getting married..... After some soul searching, Ricky decided she was definitely ready to marry her man........Drama strikes as Ricky, Kyle & baby Casey are racing to the wedding. "Stop the car, Kyle!" Ricky suddenly cries. Casey has vomited on himself. After attending to him, Ricky is horrified to find the car won't start. Their situation is all the more hopeless as neither Ricky nor Kyle has a mobile phone with them. They can't even call the bridal party to let them know what's happened & why they are late!...Refusing to give up, she grabs Casey & puts an emergency plan into action. "I really hope you like running!", she tells Kyle. Back at the lookout the groom is really starting to panic.... Normally Nate is cool, calm & collected. But this time he is clearly rattled by the possibility Ricky won't show up on their big day....Feeling like he has no choice, a devastated Nate starts telling the guests there isn't going to be a wedding. What he doesn't know is that Ricky, Kyle & Casey are still on their way! Will the runaway bride make it to the lookout in time? Or, will she be too late for her one chance at happiness?"

(Zac & Chris are the groomsmen while Phoebe & Hannah are the bridesmaids (in canary-yellow dresses)).


So it is the old car breaking down on the way to the wedding, & there is no phone, trick!!!

The speculation around is that he is still only a guest character (but haven't seen anything official)

I have previously posted my theory on who I think Charlotte's killer is, so I won't go over all that again, but I agree lizann that it would be a cop out if it turns out to be Dylan. With the investigation app that Ch7 put out to go thru all the suspects etc, & then all the adverts like "all of them have a motive, but one of them did it!" & "one of your favourites is a killer!" which were being shown all the time over the summer break etc (before Dylan even arrived in SB!) & then "it is someone everyone knows really well", it will be really, really disappointing if it turns out to be Dylan.

The emphasis of late in the storylines is on Dylan & Kat's "relationship" (rather than the actual murder investigation) & with the spoilers saying that Kat will ask Morag to help dig up dirt on Dylan & she also gets Ash to help expose him, a lot of people online have come to the conclusion that Dylan is definitely the killer. I am hoping that it is not him, & all this stuff with Kat is (just) his continued obsession with her etc.

So does Ricky end up leaving with Brax still?

It is all getting confusing now isn't it! We know for sure that Bonnie/Ricky is leaving (& that she goes in the next couple of months, as she finished filming in Dec). So even with this wedding to Nate, it appears it won't last for long. We also know she filmed those extra scenes with Brax (while he was on set last year) where they were kissing & seemingly drive off together. In the article I posted on the Ricky Sharpe thread (10 April) the series Producer said that the writing team did consider marrying off Ricky & Brax, sending them away together as Brax went on the run, but they thought the character of Ricky was too popular & too strong a woman "to live a life like that". So, if Brax does come back & Ricky leaves with him, surely it would mean that Brax has now been cleared? Also, if they do go off together, would it mean that Ricky & Nate's marriage only lasts a short while & they have already broken up for another reason by the time Brax re-appears? or would it mean that Brax returns again (a free man?) & that breaks Ricky & Nate up? Who knows, we will have to wait & see.

Another thought; in that other article on the Ricky Sharpe thread, it also says that "As expected though, the ghost of Brax plays a part in the lead-up (to the wedding), as second thoughts creep in for both the bride & groom." Is it possible that after getting the text from Brax (as per the spoilers), that Ricky, when she is having second thoughts about marrying Nate, "dreams" about the possibility of having "run away" with Brax instead - & that is the "dream" scene she filmed with Brax last year? But she then dismisses this "dream" & still marries Nate? (But leaves later on anyway, for some other reason). I doubt it, but you never know - just another theory!
