I was just about to write the same. The post in question actually defended Brad's actions in the fire (despite my dislike for him), and my comment about him rescuing Lauren first if he'd had to choose was completely non-judgemental.

The truth is that who he should have rescued first is one of those moral dilemmas to which there's no correct answer because it's completely subjective.
Well, I know a filing cabinet full of papers can be heavy but I have lifted one of those and yes, I love spinach but don´t eat near enough of it to be like Popeye ... just feel that if I can lift one, so can a fully grown man

Yes I know - it just seems that everyone expects him to save Terese over Lauren......

Yes but as I mentioned just before - it just seems everyone thinks he SHOULD pick Terese over Lauren.......

My point was that I couldn't understand why you directed your comment at my post, which was one of the few that didn't blame Brad for rescuing Lauren first.

The fact that many posters here think Brad should have rescued Terese before Lauren just goes to show how strongly lots of the people detest Lauren's behaviour and feel that Terese is the victim. I doubt if this is reaction the writers intended!

Do you? I thought they always intended the storyline to be divisive and for people to take sides-Team Lauren and Team Terese, or just TeamBrad'sAnIdiot. Keeps people tuning in. Or do you mean that you think the majority of people are on Terese's side?

You could be right that the story was intended to be divisive, but I do think the writers see Lauren and Brad as fated to be together and that viewers will forgive their cheating in the name of true love.

I know, it makes me want to throw up 😁 especially since they were not star crossed lovers, simply 2 people sleeping together behind Brad's fiancee's back, one of whom had an STI. Romantic as hell 😜 I did like when Lauren joined that cult when Brad ditched her though lol 😀
