Paddy will have cheated on Rhona with the girl in the bar, and the other secret is something to do with Ashley who didn't turn up on time for Harriet`s party, it was never explained where he was.

That was the same night that Moira went back to the farm with Pete as they thought Ross was going to shoot Pete. Moira was at Johnny`s baptism with Ashley, I thought that was a different time.

It looks like Emmerdale are going to sleigh it this Christmas, with a mix of emotive, fun and dramatic storylines to keep us entertained over the festive season.
With just a few weeks to go before we watch the much anticipated Yuletide plots unfold, we have drawn together 12 of the sneakiest hints to give you just a tiny flavour of what to expect.
While Metro.co.uk should be your first stop in coming weeks for more detailed previews on the Christmas plots in soapland, there’s nothing wrong with getting the baubles rolling early and dropping the first teasers.
While there are no specific spoilers, viewers who want complete and 100% surprises may wish to avoid anyway.
The rest of us meanwhile can salivate more than we do at the anticipation of a four bird roast and an excessive helping of Christmas pud.

1. We already know that Chas and Aaron are destined to get a blast from the past in the form of returning Gordon. But what brings him back to the Dales? His arrival will stir up a range of emotions in both his son and his ex and when it looks like Chas is hiding something from Aaron, could it push the struggling lad over the edge?
2. Ashley faces a bleak Christmas as his health struggles remain at the forefront of his mind. But he can’t keep his torment secret forever – who will he confide in? And what will the surprising results be?
