    Steph's fragile state
Several unsettling incidents prompt Steph Scully to fear she's losing a grip on her sanity.

Since returning home to Erinsborough, Steph has been treated like the town pariah for her past actions and as it has become increasingly clear that she's not very welcome.

Her world is turned upside with the arrival of the mysterious Belinda and the wideheld belief that Steph is the arsonist who recently lit the fire at Erinsborough High School.

Adding to Steph's burden is her fear that someone is tormenting her into believing that she's losing her mind. Although Steph is eventually relieved to learn that she was framed as the person responsible for starting the fire by someone who wants to take advantage of her precarious mental health to use her as a scapegoat, she still can't relax.

Meanwhile, Paul doesn't waste time taunting her about losing custody of her children and she's embroiled in a drama at Fitzgerald Motors. Assuming that Tyler is accusing her of theft, Steph explodes angrily, wondering if she's deluding herself by trying to change her life when nobody will give her the benefit of the doubt.

Although Amy's show of support calms her down, Steph is again on edge when she's haunted by the strange music she keeps hearing. Desperate to prove that she's not flipping out, Steph becomes obsessive in her quest to find the source of the melody which only arouses Belinda's concern for her.

When Belinda doesn't accept Steph's assurances that she's not having another breakdown, she's compelled to search through Steph's belongings for evidence she has stopped taking her medication. Unfortunately, Steph catches Belinda in the act and a heated showdown erupts, seriously compromising Steph's insistence that she's not mentally ill.

    Who lit the fire?
As the flame die down at the school, the push is on to find the arsonist. Is Steph, Belinda or Paul the culprit?

As Ramsay Street recovers from the explosive fire that ripped through Erinsborough High, the search for the person responsible for the blaze is about to rame up. Could the arsonist be one of Erinsborough's favourite residents?

The raging inferno that tore through the school left a frightening wave of destruction and put several lives in danger. In terrifying scenes, Amber (Jenna Rosenow) went into labour, Sheila (Colette Mann) left Toadie (Ryan Moloney) for dead as she desperately tried to save herself and Brad (Kip Gamblin) was faced with the heartbreaking decision to whether to save Lauren (Kate Kendall) or Terese (Rebekah Elmaloglou).

Now, as the cleanup begins, a manhunt is on to find the person responsible for setting the fire. Having learnt that the blaze ignited in the principal's office - and was deliberately lit - Mark (Scott McGregor) begins his investigations. The first person to arouse his suspicions is none other than Steph Scully (Carla Bonner). Given her history of run-ins with the law and emotional instability, not to mention her return to Erinsborough just before the fire, Steph quickly firms as the case's prime suspect.

When details emerge of a mystery woman from Steph's past, who has arrived in town desperately worried about Steph's mental fragility, she starts to look even guiltier. Steph is evasive when Mark questions her about the woman, Belinda (Nikki Shiels) and when a jerry can of petrol linked to the garage is found among the fire debris, Steph's future is starting to look bleaker by the second. Is she really the arsonist?

The next suspect in Mark's sights is Belinda, who we soon learn is Steph's ex. The two met while Steph was behind bars and although Steph says their relationship is over, Belinda is still in love with her.

Belinda is convinced that returning to Erinsborough will trigger Steph's psychological issues again and she's willing to do just about anything to keep her former lover safe. Could she have lit the fire to frame Steph - and get her thrown back in jail?

Then there's prehaps the most likely suspect of them all: Paul Robinson (Stefan Dennis). As part of a shady scheme with Sue Parker (Kate Gorman), Paul has bought up key properties surrounding Erinsborough High and plans to create an up-market housing estate.

Paul would do anything for a quick buck but could really be behind the high school blaze.

As Mark's hunt for the firebug heats up, he's about to be handed a shocking new piece of evidence that could unmask the arsonist and rock Ramsay Street to it's core.

When Piper (Mavournee Hazel) phone is recovered from the fire intact, she's worried about some compromsigin photos getting into the wrong hands.

Piper is in for a shock, however, when Imogen (Ariel Kaplan) finds a selfie of Piper and Ben (Felix Mallard) taken on the night of the fire that clearly shows someone else in the background lurking the corridors or Erinsborough High,

So who is the mystery photo bomber and did they light the fire that sent Ramsay Street into meltdown?

    Brad's guilty impulse
As Brad gets closer to Terese again will it ruin his relationship with Lauren?

With the flames closing in and the smoke overwhelming, Brad was forced to make the desperate decision to save Lauren from the fire and leave Terese to burn. Could Brad's (Kip Gamblin) impossible choice somehow bring him and Terese (Rebekah Elmaloglou) closer together - and tear Brad and Lauren (Kate Kendall) apart?

Brad's affair with his high-school sweetheart divided Ramsay Street and was the final nail in the coffin in his marriage to Terese.

When Brad was faced with a split-second decision in the chaos of the school inferno, his decision to rescue Lauren showed where is heart really lies. Now, in the light of day and with Terese recovering from severe burns, Brad is consumed with guilt about choosing his mistress over his wife.

Despite her hurt, Terese just wants to let bygones be bygones and forget the whole thing ever happened and Brad and Lauren agree to keep the truth of who Brad rescued a secret.

When Imogen discovers that Brad saved Lauren over her mother and reacts furiously, Brad is forced to come clean. In an effort to assuage Brad's guilt, Lauren suggests that he lend Terese a helping hand to get home from the hospital.

It's a kind gesture Lauren could be about to regret, as Brad spends more time with Terese than planned.

In a surprising role reversal, Lauren becomes the jilted lover wh can't help but worry about what her man is getting up to with another woman. Sensing her mother's concern, Paige (Olympia Valance) steps in to warn Terese off Brad - nothing Terese can do, Paige claims will keep Brad and Lauren apart.

When Terese's condition worsens and she is rushed to hospital, Brad is powerless against his overwhelming feelings of guilt. Desperate to do whatever he can to help Terese, Brad makes a promise that could break Lauren's heart.

Is his marriage to Terese really over for good?

So Paige warns Brad's wife of 20 years, who is severely injured due to Brad's choice to save her second, to stay away from him because the woman he cheated on her with, which led to this debacle, is jealous and insecure? Really, Paige? REALLY?! I didn't think she could sink any lower. Guess I was wrong!

Wish someone would just tell Paige to stop sticking her nose into other people's business. If Brad wants to spend time with Terese he can do, she's his wife. Brad has know Terese & Lauren longer than he has know Paige. She doesn't have the right to tell him what to do.

She needs a reality check. Not everything revolves around Paige 'I stick my nose in' Smith.

I liked Paige when she first arrived in Ramsay Street - but now I just want her written out asap. She just gets worse and worse.

    Amen to that Sparkly!
I really liked her when she arrived, but she's became almost unbearable.
I can appreciate that she's dreamt of having the perfect family for so long and she finally has it. But under those circumstances, causing so much hurt and to be proud of that? It's so strange.
And then to have a go at Terese because Brad OFFERS to be there for her is beyond ridiculous after everything she done to get Brad and Lauren together, whilst sitting back and enjoying watching Terese slowly lose her mind to paranoia and jealousy.
Terese isn't perfect, but at least she wasn't involved in a stolen car ring and wasn't trying to break up a marriage...
