    Emma and Finn are taken in as Ross fakes concern over Pete’s depression. Ross plans to get Pete drunk before shooting him and making it look like suicide. After a heated confrontation, Emma seeks cruel revenge on Debbie when Sarah’s test results come through, leaving Debbie and Andy sick with worry. Ross ends up spending the night with Debbie as he comforts her, leaving their families shocked when they decide to be together. When an elderly relative is taken sick, James is hesitant to leave the village with his family in such a mess. Vanessa blames herself for baby Johnny’s early arrival, while Adam wonders whether to arrange a baptism when his condition worsens. Vanessa feels increasingly isolated when Adam and Victoria pull together and Kirin takes Belle on a date. Pollard’s strange behaviour concerns David, who is furious when Leyla defends Jai for knocking Vanessa over. Marlon feels that Laurel is dealing too well with their break-up. Diane suggests that Carly could be the answer to Marlon’s childcare worries. Andy is livid when Robert offers to pay for Katie’s headstone. Robert hires Rakesh to represent Chrissie at court, causing Pollard to react violently.
