Over on Emmerdale, Chrissie Sugden will turn to Ross Barton for help after her marriage hits the rocks.

Chrissie will soon be at the centre of explosive scenes when she finally discovers that her husband Robert (Ryan Hawley) has been cheating on her with Aaron Livesy.

Once Chrissie knows the truth, she is adamant that she wants nothing more to do with Robert, ignoring his pleas for another chance as he desperately declares his love for her.

Although Robert is upset when Chrissie shows no signs of succumbing to him, his mood soon changes as he decides that he won't be giving up on his home and business quietly.

Ruthless Robert warns Chrissie that he will use the incriminating photos showing her kissing Cain Dingle to his advantage in any divorce battle.

Chrissie initially seeks help from Cain in the hope that he can scare off Robert, but Cain simply warns her to sort it out herself otherwise she'll have him as an enemy too.

In the end, Chrissie desperately seeks out Ross and he agrees to help her obtain the damning photos.

Ross's intervention sees Robert jumped and mugged while he's at some temporary traffic lights.

Later, Chrissie is pleased when Ross hands Robert's laptop and memory stick over to her, but are these the only existing copies of the photos?

I think Ross and Chrissie have better chemistry than Ross and Debbie.

Ross has chemistry with the tv screen lol.
Chrissie's too posh for Ross, they'd be ok for a famous Ross "bunk up" but that's it. If the storyliners expect us to actually believe he'll remain faithful to Debbie anyway, they must be deluded, he's highly motivated by sex, if someone else offers him it on a plate he's going to take it cause that's the type of person he is and he'll get bored quickly trying to be a family man, it's alien to him, he'll be out of his comfort zone. He'd be a really sweet family man though, but I can't see it lasting cause it wouldn't be that exciting to him

Mike Parr must be thrilled with all the things he gets to wear on Ross's dodgy jobs, a high vis jacket this time lol

These are awful spoilers Aaron is a part of the affair YET the spoilers ignore him! Also no discussion of Robert sexuality these spoilers are bizarre. The writers need to address WHY Robert does not want the Whites to find out he is bisexual. There needs to be a clear explanation about his sexuality. The worst part is Robert does not love Aaron he continues to chase Chrissie. I do not see how Aaron fits into this storyline anymore? Why has Chrissie not gone after Aaron yet.

Might be a long shot, but is this foreshadowing the possible instigator of the "summer of fate?" This person may target Harriet, but catch many in the crossfire?
