Nate and Kat

I am really liking this pair and hope the home and away writers let this relationship evolve and can show this relationship in summer bay to last long and develop into a marriage and good life after.

Knowing the writers they have now, I hope they don't just create a past love affair turning up or sleeping around with another character😡 again like almost all the characters have been.

Home and Away Producers, if you are reading this, for people watching this including youngsters, can you show that this programme isn't just about sleeping around with everyone!!

I agree and I think they've got very good chemistry. My only niggle is I don't think the actress who plays Kat is very good, but hopefully she'll improve (as most of them do).

Also, virtually none of the younger H&A cast stay for more than three years because they use the show as a stepping stone to Hollywood, so we're unlikely to see a very long term relationship I'm afraid. It'd be good if they last for as long as they both play the roles though - and without the usual tiresome break-up/make-up relationship merry-go-round.

I agree with both of you SoapsJSK & Dazzle that Nate & Kat are great together & I also hope they are a long term couple (but as you point out, you never know with H&A & all the ridiculous sleeping around which seems to be the norm lately). This is the first acting gig for Pia Miller who plays Kat & I read that she diligently studied acting in preparation for the role. I think she has been making a good fist of her debut so far, & with more experience I am sure she will improve further as time goes on.

The following is really just rumour, but please don't read if you don't want to know of possible plot line.

SPOILER ALERT!! Recently in the General Sub Forum section, under the heading 'Female villains will shake things up', when talking about this year's storylines, H&A boss Lucy Addario mentioned " an old flame will be ignited that could divide viewers". The popular rumour seems to be that this might be Nate getting back together with Ricky at some point. This seems to be based on a couple of photos that are in circulation. One photo shows the two of them sitting on the beach with Nate holding baby Casey,while another shows Ricky slapping sun tan lotion on Nates back, while in the distance Kat is watching on with a "concerned" look on her face. It may well be all innocent of course, with Nate just being a good friend to Ricky. I guess we will just have to wait & see!

I agree..I think Ricky and Ash are better suited than Ash with Denny or Phoebe...
