Michael admits to Gail that his heart attack was brought on by an intimate moment with Eileen. A violent confrontation ensues disparaging remarks about himself. Gail tries to apologise, but it seems that their relationship could be past the point of no return, and when he goes to stay with Andy and Steph, Gail begs him to forgive her like he has forgiven Andy. Julie finally realises that Dev has lost interest in her and is pursuing Talisa. But when Brian finds out that Julie and Dev are finished and hopes to jump in and win her back, Dev has a change of heart and decides to fight for her after all. Roy grows concerned over Cathy’s strange behaviour, and when she loses her handbag, he misses his driving test to rush to her aid. Roy and Carla are also shocked to discover the state of Cathy’s home after bailiffs threaten to take her belongings. Jason, Kirk and Gary have their poker game crashed by an insistent Dan. Carla ends up joining the lads and wins, much to Dan’s visible disgust. Unaware of his emerging dark side, Liz grows closer to Dan. Steve returns home and his anger prompts Liz to take action against Tony for conning him out of half the pub. Liz and Michelle concoct a plan to expose the dodgy dealings at Barlow’s Buys. When Liz introduces Dan to Leanne, it is clear that they have a history. Nick tries to win Erica round. David and Kylie receive news of their next family court hearing.

Coronation Street's Gail Rodwell will let her anger get the better of her after she learns the truth about her estranged husband Michael's kiss with Eileen Grimshaw.

As the couple take steps to mend their troubled marriage, Michael will decide to be honest with Gail (Helen Worth) about the brief moment of passion he shared with Eileen prior to his collapse.

Gail doesn't take the news well and when Eileen (Sue Cleaver) attempts to defend herself by claiming that Michael isn't her type, it only serves to fuel Gail's anger more.

A furious Gail pursues Eileen out of the salon and a huge fight soon breaks out between the two women in the street as the Platts all watch on in horror.

In her rage, Gail makes some disparaging remarks about Michael but her anger quickly turns to regret as she realises that he has heard every word. Has she blown her chances of a reconciliation with him?

I dont know who does research about
what viewers like - but its not representative
-I dont think.

They are scraping the barrel with repeats of
stories. Im sure theyve had a few fights over
the years!
