You may know this but just in case you don't ...Hackney Museum have Hackney@50 exhibition. Fifty objects and fifty stories going back 50 years in Hackney. I went to its opening this evening. Only for an hour though as I am not very good with museums! My friend has displayed a very posh tiffin from India. Her father had a clothes factory in Hackney which closed down in early nineties I think. He has recently passed away so she has donated to various museums in London.

To be topical, they might have called it 50 Shades of Hackney???? I would love to go and see this if I lived a bit closer
