Thanks for the welcome, Glen1 - I've been visiting for a while now but haven't really commented - we are soooo far behind here in NZ. TVNZ did well over the years in catching up but dropped the ball at the beginning of this year by reducing the number of episodes to 6 per week, which kept us at pace, but still 6 months behind. Recently they were going to reduce even further still to just 4 episodes a week, but many of the fans complained and they listened to us (yay!) and changed the schedule at the last minute to increase episodes again - we are now seeing 9 episodes a week. Have enjoyed checking out the Soapboards to see what's coming up and been relying on Perdita's faithful spoiler postings as they become the basis for the updates on the Emmerdale NZ Facebook page which I admin. https://www.facebook.com/EDFansNZ I'll try to comment more now and not lurk so much - especially as we slowly get closer to the UK episodes and there is some epic viewing in our future!

Emmerdale schemer Charity Macey faces another terrifying ordeal later this month as she is attacked and abducted by an unknown assailant.

The shock incident unfolds after the full collection of Charity's lies are exposed, which leads to her being ostracised by her entire family.

Upcoming episodes see a number of characters learn of Charity's role in getting rid of Rachel Breckle and baby Archie at the beginning of the year, as well as her part in the Home Farm fire and subsequent insurance scam.

With everyone furious over Charity's behaviour, there are many in the village who have a motive for wanting to do harm to her.

Charity (Emma Atkins) also has to deal with possible legal repercussions when a damning DVD is sent to the police, featuring footage of Declan listing her many crimes.

Terrified of being sent to jail, Charity makes a hasty escape from the village. However, as she drives along a country road, another car blocks her way.

When Charity gets out to see what is going on, she is hit hard over the head and knocked unconscious. By the time she comes round, she has been locked up and chained to the side of an empty shipping container.

In a panic, Charity bangs on the walls and calls for help, but it's to no avail. Will anyone come to her rescue? And who is responsible for her latest scare?

Emmerdale airs these scenes on Monday, October 13 and Tuesday, October 14 at 7pm on ITV, as part of a big week to mark the show's 42nd birthday and 7,000th episode on October 16.

Of course, Declan at large (if he's still at large) seems the most logical culprit, but then there are also Cain, Jai, Megan and Sam who could also be responsible. I hate being so far behind these episodes here in NZ, but love watching it all unfold knowing her comeuppance is yet to come...
