Monday
Owen is fuming when Phelan introduces him and Gary to his new site foreman, Clive. Intent on making Owen's life hell, Clive immediately starts throwing his weight around.
Later, stealing Clive's lighter, Owen sends Gary home. Plainly on edge, Owen builds a bonfire at the site and takes out the lighter. Is he about to make the biggest mistake of his life?
Meanwhile, Steph tells Tina that she needs to forget about the affair, but it's clear that Tina wants payback. As Peter accompanies Carla to a business meeting at The Rovers, Tina stares scornfully at him. What revenge is she planning?
Elsewhere, when Marcus gets a call from Liam's child-minder to say that she can't get hold of Maria, Marcus insists that he'll pick up Liam. Todd warns him that Maria won't be happy.
Also, Kirk is concerned when Beth books herself an appointment with a cosmetic surgeon for a breast enlargement.
Finally, Sophie and Tim are shocked when a social worker calls at Number 4 and demands to know why Maddie hasn't been seen at her lodgings bearing in mind she's under 18.
Anna arrives just in time to snatch the lighter out of Owen's hand. Owen breaks down as Anna angrily points out that he could have ended up in prison.
When Gary finds out that Owen almost torched the building site, he blames himself. Returning home, he heads to the garden where he struggles to breathe. Will they ever get away from this dreadful predicament?
At the same time, Faye is disappointed when she realises that Anna, Owen and Gary missed her play.
Meanwhile, a furious Maria tells Marcus that he can't wheedle his way back in, but Audrey warns her that by punishing Marcus, she is upsetting Liam. With this in mind, how will Maria feel when Marcus tells her that he's going to London for a while to try to come to terms with everything?
Elsewhere, Sally and Kevin are appalled to learn how 17-year-old Maddie duped them into giving her a roof over her head, but when Sally tells Maddie that she's no longer welcome, how will Sophie react?
Also, Peter is relieved when Tina tells him that she has no intention of telling anyone about their affair.
Finally, Sinead and Kirk try their best to talk Beth out of having breast implants.
Wednesday
A desperate Anna calls at Phelan's and pleads with him to stop making their lives a misery. Phelan tells her that he will only destroy the CCTV and release them if she spends the night with him.
Utterly disgusted, Anna leaves but she later finds Gary crouched on the floor, crying and unable to take any more. Will Anna reconsider Phelan's indecent proposal?
Meanwhile, having spent the night together in the hostel, Maddie and Sophie are horrified when two thugs force their way into their room demanding money. Threatening to come back tomorrow, Sophie wants to go to the police, but Maddie is having none of it. What has Sophie let herself in for?
Elsewhere, Andrea calls at The Rovers to work on a history project with Steve, but she leaves in a huff when he accuses her of still carrying a torch for him.
Also today, Julie is unimpressed when Todd has a go at Maria for her treatment of Marcus, blaming her for the fact that Marcus has gone to London.
Friday
Phelan tells Anna to meet him at his hotel room at 3pm if she wants to get Owen and Gary off the hook. Telling Roy that she feels unwell, Anna takes the afternoon off and heads to Phelan's room.
As Phelan locks the door behind her, Anna feels sick. Will she really sleep with him to save her family?
Meanwhile, Andrea agrees to give an apologetic Steve another chance and they make a start on their history project. Feeling peckish, Steve slips out to get them a kebab, but when he returns Andrea has fallen asleep. Steve wakes Andrea, but she mistakes him for Lloyd and pulls him in for a hug just as Michelle and Lloyd enter. How will they explain themselves?
Elsewhere, Sophie is hurt when Maddie tells her to go home to her middle class semi as she hasn't a clue about life on the streets.
Also, Tyrone is horrified when he gets a call from the police to say that Kirsty has been released from prison.
Finally, Jenna covers her reservations when Lloyd tells her that he is thinking of taking Andrea away for a romantic weekend.
Leaving the hotel room, Anna is full of self-loathing, but was she able to go through with the act?
When Anna arrives home, she is stunned to find the whole family have prepared a lovely meal for her. Owen tells her that she's the best partner and mother, but will Anna agree?
Meanwhile, Michelle and Lloyd remain deeply suspicious when Steve and Andrea explain that nothing is going on between them. Steve tells Michelle that Andrea used to have a crush on him and Andrea tells Lloyd that Steve had a crush on her but now they're just mates. Are they digging themselves into a bigger hole?
Elsewhere, Emily talks about Ernest and how important it is to hang on to the one you love, but Tina takes her advice to heart. Vowing to win Peter back, she texts him telling him that she loves him. Will this send Peter over the edge?
Also, Tyrone breaks the news to Fiz that Kirsty has been released.
Finally, Maddie and Sophie spend the night sleeping rough in a shop doorway.
