Coronation Street fans will see Hayley Cropper's health take another turn for the worse tonight (October 21).

Hayley (Julie Hesmondhalgh) starts to feel unwell while spending the day alone at Fiz and Tyrone's house following her row with husband Roy.

Although Hayley initially appreciates the peace and quiet, she becomes increasingly ill throughout the morning and eventually collapses as her symptoms escalate.

When Hayley is found by Fiz, she is rushed into hospital for emergency medical attention. Spotting Hayley being taken into the ambulance, Roy rushes to be at her side and desperately hopes this isn't the end. Will the couple make up once Hayley comes round again?

Chris Fountain's character will make an off-screen exit on Wednesday, October 23.

The storyline sees Tommy decide to leave suddenly after discovering that his girlfriend Tina McIntyre (Michelle Keegan) has moved homeless David Platt (Jack P Shepherd) into their flat.

Tina arrives home after inviting David to stay, only to discover that Tommy has left.

"It's Tommy. He proper kicked off when he found me here," David explains. "He went mental, saying how he always comes last with you and how you think you can do what you want."

Fountain was sacked by producers in August after he appeared in controversial rap videos on YouTube.

The footage featured Fountain wearing a mask, and included boasts of violence and rape.

In a statement released following his dismissal, the actor said: "I completely understand that ITV had no choice but to terminate my contract today. I have had two wonderful years playing Tommy Duckworth with only happy memories of my time on Coronation Street."
They could have made it more believable than that. Considering Tommy is like a lapdog around Tina, something as simple as David kipping at theirs for a couple of nights is gonna make him kick off? Utter rubbish

Guess they did not have much time to think of a more elaborate storyline as they needed to get rid of him pronto

Coronation Street barmaid Tina McIntyre loses control in tonight's double bill (October 25) after Tracy Barlow pushes her too far.

The two women continue to bicker this evening as Tina (Michelle Keegan) is still annoyed with Tracy for attempting to rip off Dennis Tanner at Barlow's Buys.

Tina also seems to be using her feud with Tracy (Kate Ford) as a way to distract herself from her heartbreak over Tommy Duckworth's unexpected departure.

As the arguments escalate, Tracy goes too far by making cruel remarks over the death of Tina's father Joe. Wanting revenge, a raging Tina smashes the window of Tracy's beloved shop, but is she making a big mistake?
