Debbie is stunned when Cameron proposes to her. Will she be able to force herself to say yes in order to keep up the façade?

Later, when the police install surveillance equipment in the house, Debbie realises the enormity of the situation. Debbie desperately tries to encourage Cameron to confess for the cameras, but how long will she be able to keep up the act? Will Cameron suss there is something amiss?

Debbie tries to keep up the act.
Meanwhile, when Moira confronts Cain about his disappearing act the night before, she is stunned when he produces money - and lots of it. He tells her it's hers if she wants it. Will Moira be able to turn a blind eye to where this money came from and use it to pay off Declan?

Elsewhere, Dan is struck when Kerry makes a comment about Ruby wanting a baby, and later makes her and Ali an offer like no other. Will the stunned pair take him up on it?

Also today, Pollard and Val confront Amy about seeing Kyle, but she lies about Joanie knowing she is his mum.

Finally, Charity is still buzzing from her night with Cain and encourages Jai to take a few more risks.

    Tuesday

As Debbie attempts to remain casual around Cameron, she becomes increasingly frustrated that she is getting nowhere.

Later, when Cameron suggests they should head upstairs, Debbie finds herself in an unthinkable position. Will she sleep with him in order to keep him sweet, or will this prove an act too far?

Amy finds herself face to face with Joanie.
Meanwhile, Amy brings Kyle to meet the family but when Joanie calls to pick him up early, she has to make her excuses and a swift exit. Kerry spots Amy and is intrigued to hear her calling out Kyle's name. Curious, she follows Amy and soon finds herself face-to-face with Joanie. As Kerry realises Amy's lies, will she blow her cover?

Elsewhere, David and Alicia's marriage annulment comes through. Alicia is touched when David says it was an honour to have married her, but their warm moment is broken when Priya returns from bridal boot camp.

Also today, Brenda takes comfort from Kerry's dream about Gennie, and Bob doesn't have the heart to put her straight.

Finally, Ruby tells Bob about Dan's offer and asks his advice.

    Wednesday

With Debbie finding it increasingly hard to act natural around Cameron, he becomes somewhat suspicious of her behaviour. Later, when Cain and Cameron jaunt each other, Cameron makes reference to the kidnap. Cain then suggests that he wishes he had got rid of Cameron whilst he had the chance. Debbie freaks as she doesn't want Cain to incriminate himself with Tug Ghyll being bugged to the nines.

Later, Cain quizzes Debbie about her odd behaviour and the truth comes tumbling out. Debbie is fit to burst with frustration when Cameron later mentions Carl's murder in The Woolpack, out of view and earshot of the police.

Amy thanks Kerry for keeping her secret.
Meanwhile, Alicia finds it hard to play a big role in organising David and Priya's wedding. Later, a distressed Alicia admits to Megan that she isn't over David. Will she be able to put her feelings aside and give them the wedding of their dreams?

Elsewhere, Pollard is frustrated when Val turns down a viewing on the B&B, with Val not wanting to rush things now that Amy is back in touch with Kyle. Later, Val makes a more definite decision after hearing Amy talk about her son.

Also today, Bob is annoyed at Kerry for convincing Brenda that she is having visions of Gennie. Amy also thanks Kerry for keeping her secret about Kyle and Joanie.

Finally, Sam worries about Declan going bust and asks Moira for a job, while Nicola tactlessly tries to get Gennie's old job at the factory and Jai agrees to look into it in order to irk Declan.

    Thursday

With Debbie struggling to keep up a front with Cameron, she needs him to confess to his unknown audience - and sooner rather than later. Later, Debbie and Cain go to the police with their plan to make him confess. Debbie is fitted with a wire and they agree on a code word in case she needs help.

As Debbie puts the plan into action, she feels a wave of relief when Cameron eventually opens up. However, when the police do not arrive as expected, a distressed Debbie panics as she is alone with a murderer. What has gone wrong and what will she do next?

Meanwhile, Alicia apologises to Megan for yesterday, but Megan insists she should continue to organise David and Priya's wedding. Alicia struggles to keep up a brave face, especially when she and David find themselves alone and reminiscing about their own wedding. Will it prove too much for Alicia to handle, and could it cost her job?

Elsewhere, Pollard is angry that Val has taken the B&B off the market so they can stay and support Amy. Kerry is pleased that Amy may be staying in the village, but Amy feels guilty that Eric and Val have changed their plans under the belief that she has proper access to Kyle.

Also, Paddy suggests that he and Rhona should go to the pub, but is she ready for that?

As Cameron insists that the recording on the Dictaphone is fake and he didn't kill Gennie, it's clear that Debbie is starting to lose it. Cain cannot bear the situation any longer and forcefully insists that the police intervene and arrest Cameron, but instead they arrest Cain for obstructing their enquiry.

Eventually Cameron confesses and Debbie utters the code word, shouts for the police and reveals the wire. However, quick as a flash, Cameron has bolted the door shut and wedges furniture against it. Suddenly it has turned into a hostage situation with Cameron calling the shots - informing the police, one step closer and he will kill Debbie…

Paddy is surprised to find Vanessa with Rhona.
Meanwhile, Paddy is surprised to find Vanessa in the house with Rhona. Rhona tells him that she is ready to return to work, but Paddy is annoyed and jealous that she has listened to Vanessa. As a result, his insecurities worsen.

Elsewhere, Dom is annoyed about Alicia seemingly getting the sack from her job, but Alicia covers when he wants to go and have a word with Megan, making him promise he won't. But will Dom keep his promise?

Also, Amy worries about her lies, but Kerry tells her all that matters is seeing Kyle.

    Friday

Cameron struggles to process Debbie's betrayal and is rocked to realise that she knew everything at the point he proposed to her. Fixated only on getting a message to her, it seems he is willing to admit anything in order for them to relay his words.

Meanwhile, Brenda struggles to cope with the news that Cameron murdered Gennie. Debbie apologises, but Brenda can't forgive her for her part in it. Who will break the news to Nikhil?

Elsewhere, hearing the full story about Debbie and Cameron, Andy insists the kids will stay with him from now on. Debbie does not have the strength to argue.

Also today, Nicola supports Jimmy when he learns that it was Cameron who killed Carl and not Chas. Moira is also disappointed to find out that Cain recently resorted back to his old ways when he nearly killed Cameron.

Finally, Paddy tries to remain positive, but when he sees Rhona and Vanessa together, it's clear that he still doesn't completely trust her yet. Later, when Paddy admits this to Rhona, she is left devastated. Will they be able to get through this?

Debbie Dingle struggles to maintain her composure in Emmerdale tonight (September 16) as her risky scheme against killer Cameron Murray begins.

As Debbie (Charley Webb) waits for the police to plant cameras in her home so that she can get a confession out of Cameron, she tries her best to pretend that everything is normal.

Unfortunately for Debbie, she is soon thrown a curveball when Cameron (Dominic Power) arranges a special breakfast and proposes to her.

Knowing that she needs to keep Cameron on side, will Debbie be forced to say yes?
