Meanwhile, Emmerdale's Nikhil Sharma surprises partner Gennie Walker by suggesting that they should get married soon.
Nikhil (Rik Makarem) comes up with the idea as he knows that it might be their only chance to tie the knot while Gennie's mum Brenda is still around.
With Brenda still refusing to have treatment for her brain tumour, Nikhil and Gennie (Sian Reese-Williams) are slowly coming to terms with the prospect of losing her.
Brenda even calls a family meeting and urges everyone to support her decision, pointing out that she can't fight her loved ones as well as a tumour.
Although initially taken aback by Nikhil's suggestion, Gennie agrees to get their wedding sorted as soon as possible.
The couple are pleased with their plans as they share the news, but Brenda is far from impressed as she thinks it's all a ploy to get her to have the operation…
