25/03/13 (hour long episode)

Romeo has his first session of chemotherapy and Sid asks Liam to encourage Romeo to tell Indi about his cancer. Dex gets his job at the hospital back. Meanwhile, Heath goes to see Robin the counsellor, in an attempt to show Connie that hes serious about being a good father.

Hurt by Spencers' rejection, Maddy takes her frustrations out on Roo, however Alf tells her to show some respect. Richard comes to discuss Jet'ts adoption and Sasha finally convinces Rosie that Mullens is bad news. Although, still desperate to feel loved, Rosie kisses Spencer, causing Maddy to become furious.

Maddy doesn't tell her, then he will. Romeo decides to take Indi away for a romantic weekend, leaving Heath to mind the gym.

Monday episode 5707 - 25/03/13

Brax has converted the landlord’s storage room at the Braxton house into a flat for Tamara and Casey to live in. They are ecstatic when Brax reveals the surprise. Meanwhile, Kyle finds out that he will not need to appear in court. He is put on a good behaviour bond as the lawyers have taken into account the effect of his father’s (Danny Braxton) influence on the case and his emotional state at the time. Kyle thanks Tamara and Casey for changing their statements. He and Casey share a handshake - "here’s to moving forward". Tamara and Kyle continue to bond while working together at Angelo’s until Tamara gets the feeling that Kyle might be taking their new friendship as something more.

April and Dex test the boundaries of their relationship 'break'. While working at the hospital, Dex jokes with a sassy nurse (Steph). They decide that all the staff in the hospital should lighten up and they should lead by example. On this note, Dex randomly gives Dr Walker a big hug - making a fool of himself. Steph thinks he’s crazy, until she realises that Dr Walker is Dex’s dad. She then tells Dex that for tricking her, he owes her a coffee…
At Uni, April is captivated by her lecturer (Jake Twomey) in a class about bedside manner. She opens up in front of the class, talking about how important communication wit the patient's family and friends is, obviously speaking from personal experience. On a high, she approaches Jake to tell him how much she enjoyed the class, this is the reason she chose to be a doctor. Keen to pick his brains, she organises to meet him for a coffee at lunchtime. Dex comes across the pair and although acting nonchalant, his discontent is obvious. Similarly, April comes across Dex and Steph having a coffee at the diner. Unsure of how to act she makes a beeline for the door.

Sid tries to make Romeo realise how severe the risks of stopping chemotherapy are, but Romeo insists that he will tell Indi when he’s ready, and is going to stay off treatment until then - he doesn’t want Indi to remember him as some kind of invalid. Sid makes Liam aware of Romeo’s decision, seeing him as his only hope at getting through to Romeo. He pleads with Liam to help persuade Romeo to let Indi know the truth, telling him "the right thing isn’t always the easiest". These words inspire Liam to make some changes in his own life. He starts by going to Angelo’s and repaying Brax the money he stole and later tells Romeo that he’s not going to be able to rely solely on him for support, he’s decided to get his life back on track and to do this he needs to leave Summer Bay.

Tuesday episode 5708 - 26/03/13

Brax is pleased with the way Kyle is running Angelo’s and tells him he’s glad that he can count on him. He sees that Kyle has given Tamara the night off and notes that she must me making an impact on him. Meanwhile, Tamara tries to tell Casey that she thinks Kyle might have a thing for her, mentioning that he let her have the night off, but before she can elaborate Casey tells her it’s because Kyle’s got a lot to be thankful for, she got him off the charges. However, the next day when they see Kyle Tamara is curt. Kyle tells her that she’s rostered on for the evening and upon hearing this, she goes straight to Brax to get out of it, but he tells her that she needs to talk to the manager, Kyle. Quite obviously wanting to avoid him, she asks Casey to pass on the message. Noting Tamara’s dismissive behaviour, Casey organises a meeting between Kyle and Tamara, leaving them to sort out their differences. Once alone, Kyle tells Tamara that he can’t stop thinking about her, and he knows that she feels the same. She tells him that he’s delusional.

Gina, John and Jett meet with Mollie, their community services case worker, to talk about the adoption. Mollie is concerned that Richard, Jett’s father, could hold up the process if he doesn’t comply. Jett isn’t worried. He doesn’t think Richard wants anything to do with him. Mollie warns Jett that things could get emotional and messy, he needs to convince her that he knows what he’s getting in to. He touches them all with a moving declaration of his love for Gina and John. However, worry sets in when Mollie reports that Richard is getting on the next flight to have a discussion about it.

Rosie is hanging out with her new friends; when her and ‘Mullo’ start kissing in the Diner and Roo asks Sasha to intervene but Rosie takes it the wrong way, accusing Sasha of not wanting her, now not wanting anyone else to have her. Later at school, Sasha overhears Mullens talking about how easy it is to take advantage of Rosie, saying to his friends “tell her she’s hot and she’ll be all over you”. Sasha see’s that he’s made a list of the guys who have kissed Rosie and given her a score out of 10. Worried for her friend, Sasha turns to Tamara for advice, who advises idea that’s Sasha hit the problem head on. Sasha confronts the boys, telling her they need to leave Rosie alone, or they will have her to answer to. When this raises a laugh Sasha pours Mullens’ milkshake in his lap. She means business.

Wednesday episode 5709 - 27/03/13

Maddy is acting cold towards Spencer, still hurt after at his decision not to sleep together. He tries to reason with her, telling her that Harvey said that if they wait then they will be stronger as a couple but she doesn’t think that makes any sense. She’s as ready as she’ll ever be. Maddy takes out her frustrations on Roo, who has had enough of her attitude. Roo asks her to come home to finish an assignment after school but Maddy organises to hang out with Sasha, lying to Roo, telling her that they are working on the assignment together. Roo busts them and is hurt that Maddy betrayed her. Defending Roo, Alf has a stern chat with Maddy telling her that while she’s living at his house, she has to abide by his rules.

Jett is frustrated that Richard is coming to discuss the adoption; he doesn’t want any interference. Molly explains that Richard has rights and that Jett should hear what he has to say. To Jett’s disapproval, Richard tells Gina and John that he doesn’t want to give up on Jett who flare’s up at this, accusing Richard of not wanting him and now not wanting anyone else to have him. Once alone, Richard and John have a man to man. John tells Richard that he’s a bit confused, he and Jett have barely have stayed in contact, but he can see that Richard is struggling with the idea of letting him go completely, so suggests that he and Jett have a one on one chat once everything calms down. Richard tries to reason with Jett, he doesn’t want him to feel pressured. However, Jett is adamant; he wants Gina and John as his parents, they make him happy. Putting Jett’s interests first, Richard agrees.

Sasha wants Rosie to realise that Mullens and his friends are losers. She tells her that Mullens is only after one thing, and it’s not friendship. Rosie admits that she is really enjoying the attention, even if it is because Mullens is just after one thing. Sasha has a genuine chat with Rosie. She knows what its like to feel lonely, when even someone bad feels better than no one at all, but she doesn’t want Rosie to make the mistakes that she did. Rosie appreciates the advice and the girls are happy to be friends again. However, things quickly backfire when Sasha takes Rosie to hang out with Maddy and Spencer after school. Spencer tries to lift Rosie’s spirits by telling her that she’s a great girl and she’ll find the right boy one day, but taking the compliment the wrong way, she kisses Spencer. Maddy is furious but Sasha defends her friend, understanding that Rosie just wants to feel loved.

Thursday episode 5710 - 28/03/13

Maddy apologises to Roo for her behaviour, telling her that she is going to try harder; she doesn’t want to get kicked out. Roo is confused as to where Maddy got that idea from. When Maddy tells her that Alf said it, Roo is mad. However, Harvey defends Alf, telling Roo that Maddy has her wrapped around her finger and that they need to implement boundaries. Later, when Alf asks Maddy to help Roo with lunch, Maddy continues to be disrespectful, telling Alf that she’s not hungry so why would she help? Acting on Harvey and Alf’s advice Roo comes down hard on Maddy, demanding that she apologises for the way she’s been behaving. Spencer goes after Maddy as she storms out. Marilyn and Harvey tell Roo that there’s no harm on being hard with teenagers, but Roo thinks that she’s made a terrible mistake. Maddy ran away from her last home because she wasn’t getting love and support, she doesn’t want her to feel the same way there. Meanwhile, Spencer tries to convince Maddy to stop being so stubborn. He tells her that if she doesn’t apologise and decides to take off, then she’s on her own. In fear of losing Spencer, Maddy apologises, but tells Roo that she doesn’t want to be treated like a child. They come to an agreement.

Romeo is feeling better now that he’s off chemotherapy and Indi is glad to see him acting brighter. However, she still senses that something is not right, telling Sid that she feels like he’s hiding something from her. Sid struggles to hold back from telling Indi. Growing impatient he tells Romeo that Indi deserves to know about his cancer and if he doesn’t tell her then he will. Romeo tells Sid that he’s decided to take Indi away for a few days. He is happy with the work Heath is doing at the Gym, and is confident that he can look after it while he’s away. Romeo surprises Indi with a bunch of roses at Uni, telling her that he’s sorry for acting so stressed and aloof lately and to make it up to her he is going to take her away for the weekend to have some quality time– her carriage awaits.
