Coming up on Emmerdale, passion ignites for Charity Sharma and Declan Macey while both of their partners are away from the village.

The pair have both encountered marriage problems in recent weeks as Jai's erratic and secretive behaviour has infuriated Charity (Emma Atkins), while Declan (Jason Merrells) has struggled to keep Katie happy following various dramas in their relationship.

With both Jai and Katie taking time out from Emmerdale to clear their heads, Charity comes into Declan's orbit when she approaches him with a possible deal.

Declan plays hard to get when he hears what she's offering, but the atmosphere between him and Charity is flirtatious and he enjoys having the attention.

As Declan isn't entirely sure whether he can trust Charity, their business discussions turned heated and they end up hurling insults at each other.

However, their fire soon turns to passion as they grab one another and end up sleeping together at Home Farm.

Completely focused on each other, Declan and Charity both neglect to hear a message that Robbie leaves on the answering machine, which reveals that Katie is on her way home. Will Katie catch Declan in a compromising position with Charity?
