Priya's upset after she reads a negative article, and is disappointed when Ajay doesnt give her the support she needs; Kyle struggles to deal with Harley without Jades help.

Tuesday

Priya tries to forget the spark that bad-boy Paul brings to her life; meanwhile Tash is stunned when Ed reveals a colourful suit to match her university ball dress.

Wednesday

Vanessa continues supporting Rhys through his rehab under the proviso he wont get involved in any surgeries until hes ready; meanwhile Callum's bad-boy act inadvertently lands him in trouble.

Thursday

Rhys has is world rocked when Jessica reveals he'll have to re-sit the tests on his hand; meanwhile Kyle juggles the logistics of a long-distance relationship.

Friday

Andrew reluctantly agrees to attend Paul's civil case against Chris despite being troubled to learn that, if Chris loses, his family will be forced to sell their house.

Neighbours star Menik Gooneratne has revealed that her character Priya Kapoor will come close to kissing Paul Robinson in an upcoming episode.

Viewers have already noticed a spark between the pair, and Priya starts to find Paul more difficult to resist in scenes soon to air in Australia.

When a negative article about Erinsborough High appears in the local newspaper, Paul is a sole voice of support for Priya's abilities as school principal - which leaves her with food for thought.

Gooneratne told TV Week: "It's so surprising to Priya that Paul would defend her. Earlier, Ajay was not supporting her over this article in the newspaper, even though she has supported him through all of his things.

"All she really wanted was for Ajay to say that he's behind her 100% and believes in her. But instead of getting that support from her husband, she gets it from this man who she thinks hates her."

Although Priya tries to brush off Paul's support, a private moment between the pair later sees her moving in for a kiss with him - before stopping herself at the last moment.

Gooneratne continued: "This moment comes completely out of the blue, and Priya feels really awful afterwards. She's not the kind of woman who would do something like this. She's a very loyal person.

"But she's in a vulnerable situation where she's feeling fragile - and she absolutely hates herself for being tempted at this time."

Whether Priya can keep her feelings in check remains to be seen, but Gooneratne hinted that viewers will eventually learn more about her character.

She said: "There are a lot of things going on in Priya's family life that come to light later down the track, and may reveal why she's tempted to go down this path."

Neighbours airs these scenes next week on Eleven in Australia, and in October on Channel 5 in the UK.

Paul always attracts the ladies must be his bad boy ways

Neighbours actress Coco-Jacinta Cherin has spoken about her first on-screen kiss with co-star Justin Holborow.

Her alter ego Rani Kapoor shares an embrace with rebellious new Ramsay Street schoolboy Harley in an episode to air next week in Australia.

The 15-year-old said of the shoot: "It was pretty nerve-wracking. It was night time and we were both cold and shivering."

Referring to advice she received from older cast members, she revealed: "They all said their first on-screen kiss was scary. But they told me, 'Pretend no-one else is there and that will make it less awkward'."

Describing her character Rani, the star added: "She's a hopeless romantic. She wants the whole fairytale and she's really fallen for Harley."

Callum Jones (Morgan Baker), who has had a secret crush on Rani for months, will later be left heartbroken over the romance.

"Rani's a little bit blind to the fact that Callum likes her so much. She hasn't picked up on anything," Cherin said.

Neighbours fans in the UK will see the plot play out later in the autumn.
