Stella insists that Leanne and Eva join her for a girls' night out, in the hope they'll make up and put their differences behind them. At the same time, Sunita is fed up with being left in charge of the shop while Dev enjoys himself at the golf club. Closing up, she heads to The Rovers for a night out of her own.

With Karl in charge of the pub, Stella is relieved as Leanne and Eva finally agree to bury the hatchet over Nick. Back on the street, Dev is unimpressed to find Sunita in the pub and heads out to reopen the shop.

An unrepentant Sunita stays in the pub until closing time, persuading Karl to let her stay behind for one more drink. As Sunita then attempts to seduce Karl, he struggles to resist her advances. Will Stella, Leanne and Eva return and catch them in a compromising position?

Meanwhile, Michelle is furious to hear that Ryan has been thrown out of university and demands the truth. Ryan admits it happened a couple of months ago after a prank involving fire extinguishers. Michelle moans to Steve about Ryan and how he's throwing his life away. Feeling sorry for Michelle, Steve gives Ryan a job working on the switch at Streetcars. But Lloyd reckons Ryan is a liability and Steve has only done it to impress Michelle.

Elsewhere, Mary asks Roy to accompany her to an Elgar recital. Roy is delighted and they arrive back from the concert elated. As Roy goes to make Mary a cocoa, she watches him lustfully.

Also today, Jason invites Maria out for a drink. They enjoy each other's company and it's clear they fancy each other.

As Karl and Sunita hastily pull their clothes back on, Stella and Eva watch horrified. Stella throws Sunita out and turns on Karl, wanting to know what's going on. Karl tries to play it down, but Eva is sceptical and tells Stella that she suspected they were having an affair all along.

Over at Number 7, Stella drags Sunita out, demanding to know how long she's been sleeping with Karl. Sunita confirms it's been going on for a while and Stella slaps her across the face. Hearing the commotion, Dev emerges from the corner shop as Stella explains that his fiancé is a 'slag' who's been having an affair with Karl.

Inside, Sunita gives Dev an honest account of her affair and packs her bags to leave. Dev is a broken man, but insists he still loves her and they can give their relationship another chance. As Stella throws Karl and his belongings out onto the street, Dev begs Sunita not to leave him. Will she agree to stay?

Meanwhile, Maria and Jason spend the evening together at Maria's flat. It's clear they think a lot of each other, but when Jason attempts a goodnight kiss, will Maria respond?

Elsewhere, Michelle finds Ryan working on the switch at Streetcars. Michelle is initially unimpressed but Steve placates her, assuring her that Ryan is earning some cash and he will keep an eye on him.

Also today, when Mary invites Roy to a classical concert in August, Roy suggests that Hayley could join them too. Mary covers her disappointment.


Wednesday

Karl has spent the night in his cab and Lloyd sacks him, claiming that he's no longer welcome at Streetcars. At the same time, Dev has had a sleepless night and tells Stella that he still loves Sunita and just wants her back. Sunita is more interested in talking to Karl, but when he reveals that he'll do everything he can to put things right with Stella, Sunita is disappointed.

At The Rovers, Karl begs Stella to take him back, admitting that he's always loved her and Sunita was just a bit of fun. Will Stella give Karl one last chance? And can Dev persuade Sunita to give their relationship another go?

Meanwhile, when Marcus suggests to Sean that they could meet for a coffee, Sean is hopeful that Marcus still has feelings for him. At the same time, when Maria spends the day with Jason and Liam, Marcus feels put out and suggests to Maria that he's in the way and should move back to London. How will Maria react?

Elsewhere, Gary fusses over Izzy and tells her that she should be taking it easy. Izzy is annoyed and on Anna's advice, Gary apologises to Izzy for making her feel smothered.

Also today, to David's annoyance, Kylie invites Ryan to join them for a drink. Ryan is drunk and Kylie thinks he's hilarious.

Thursday

Sunita insists to Karl that together they can make it work. Karl is not convinced, but with nowhere else to go, he agrees to stay at Sunita's. Bumping into a hostile Leanne, Sunita defiantly tells her that Karl has moved in and they're in love. When Leanne delivers the news to Stella, the landlady puts on a brave face and insists that she's fine.

At the same time, Dev is drunk and depressed in the shop flat. Finding him there, Lloyd insists on taking him out to the Bistro for dinner. However, Sunita and Karl are already eating at the Bistro and when Dev spies them enjoying a cosy meal, he goes berserk and launches himself at Karl. Lloyd and Nick drag him off as Dev returns to the corner shop to drown his sorrows. Is Dev about to take drastic action?

Meanwhile, Rob makes the factory girls stay behind to do a bit of overtime. Gary is not happy and corners Rob in the gents, telling him not to overwork Izzy as she's pregnant. An unaware Izzy thanks Gary for showing some restraint and not mentioning anything to Rob.

Elsewhere, at Maria's suggestion, Marcus arranges a date with Aiden. They meet in The Rovers before heading into town. Witnessing their meeting, Sean is clearly upset and Julie confronts Marcus.

Also today, Eileen is astounded as Steve lies to Michelle about how well Ryan is doing at Streetcars, while Fiz, Katy, Gary and Izzy decide to organise a party for Chesney's 18th birthday.

Friday

When Fiz invites Tyrone to Chesney's birthday party, Tyrone is edgy and is forced to admit that Kirsty's got it into her head they fancy each other. As Fiz and Tyrone part company, Kirsty watches incensed.

At the same time, Anna, Gary, Katy and Owen prepare for Chesney's 18th. Over at the factory, Rob discovers that Kirk has messed up an order and tells the girls they'll have to work late to make up for it. However, Gary is furious to learn that Rob is making Izzy work overtime. He marches into the factory and confronts Rob. Izzy tries to intervene, but she suddenly doubles over in pain…

Meanwhile, Dev wakes up to find that Lloyd has spent the night on the sofa watching over him. Dev thanks him for coming to his rescue. At the same time, Sunita, Karl and the kids have breakfast together. In an attempt at some normality, Sunita suggests they could go to the cinema - but Aadi and Asha make it clear they'd rather see their dad. Karl begs Lloyd for his job back at Streetcars, but Lloyd refuses and tells Karl that because of him, Dev almost took his own life. A shocked Karl tells Sunita about Dev's suicide attempt. How will Sunita react?

Elsewhere, Ryan cons a £30 sub out of Steve to buy some drugs. He then asks Kylie if she'd like to earn a bit of money and do him a favour at the same time. Will Kylie get involved in Ryan's dodgy dealings?

Also today, Marcus tentatively asks Sean if he's okay about his relationship with Aiden, Jason invites Maria for a drink and tells her to bring Marcus along too, while Steve is chuffed when Michelle agrees to meet him for a drink.


Izzy is beside herself, worried that she might have lost the baby. Gary tries to calm her down, while Sean brings Chesney's party to an abrupt halt when he calls round and breaks the news about Izzy.

In the hospital, Gary, Anna, Owen and Katy nervously wait for news of Izzy. She's devastated as she tells Gary that she's had a miscarriage. Trying to be strong, Gary assures Izzy that as soon as she's well enough, they'll try for another baby. But is that want Izzy wants to hear?

Meanwhile, Lloyd is horrified to discover that Ryan has left Kylie in charge of the switch, and when Ryan returns, Lloyd fires him. However, Steve is desperate to impress Michelle, so he overrules Lloyd and tells Ryan he can have one more chance. Michelle is grateful, while Lloyd is speechless.

Elsewhere, Sunita tells Dev to forget his suicidal thoughts and concentrate on his two children who need him. As Dev spends the evening with Asha and Aadi, will he realise just how important they are to him?

Also today, a furious Kirsty confronts Tyrone about his secret rendezvous with Fiz, while Sean apologises to Marcus and tells him that he's quite within his rights to go out with whoever he likes.
