Coming up in Emmerdale, Val Pollard inadvertently ruins Amy Wyatt's birthday by causing an accident which leaves her estranged husband Eric injured.
As Amy turns 18, Val (Charlie Hardwick) is determined to mark the milestone by giving her a big treat, so she turns up on a moped and hands the keys over to her.
An unimpressed Brenda immediately accuses her of trying to buy Amy and make Eric (Chris Chittell) jealous, but Val remains undeterred - revving the engine while telling Amy (Chelsea Halfpenny) that she will love the freedom the bike will offer.
Suddenly, however, Val loses control of the moped and it ploughs into Eric. They all rush to help, and paramedics soon arrive with a stretcher as Eric needs hospital treatment.
Val attempts to apologise to everyone, but it's clear that she has managed to make things worse with Eric and Amy. Can she ever get back in their good books?

Chas visits Cameron at the garage and suggests they should go somewhere to talk. However, Debbie suddenly arrives with Sarah, forcing Chas to cover. Later in the Woolpack, Chas is shaken when Gennie storms in, furious that Chas has told Charity about her being pregnant. Gennie explains that she now doesn't owe Chas anything and hints she will tell Debbie about their affair. Chas is left panicked.
As the day continues, Debbie bumps into a tearful Gennie and persuades her to talk about what is bothering her. Cameron watches from a distance, fearing that Gennie could be about to confess all. In Victoria Cottage, Debbie knows that Gennie is hiding something and tries to get to the bottom of it. In the end, Chas is relieved when Gennie reveals that she hasn't told Debbie about the affair, but they must end it otherwise she will!
Meanwhile, David suggests that Nikhil could be his best man after seeing that he wants to be involved in the wedding, but is secretly alarmed that the lies are getting bigger. The pressure mounts even further when Brenda asks about Alicia's wedding dress and Val offers her services as wedding planner. When Alicia hears about Val's offer, she also fears that things are getting out of control.
Later in The Woolpack, Alicia pleads with Pollard to make things up with David as she cannot stand causing problems between them. However, Pollard is disgusted at Alicia for lying to Jacob about the wedding, suggesting it is bad enough to mess with David's head but Jacob is young to be dealing with this.
Elsewhere, Ali is surprised to hear that Ruby is helping Sandy free of charge and worries there is more to it than meets the eye, while Val is crushed after Amy rejects her invitation to help organise her 18th birthday.
Monday
Cameron snaps at Debbie when she tells him that there is something wrong with Gennie, advising her to stay out of it. Later, Cameron thanks Gennie for not telling Debbie about the affair, promising it is now over. However, Gennie is angered by his words, declaring that she has done it for Debbie and Chas, not for him.
Chas is emotional as she also thanks Gennie for not saying anything, and promises she has finished things with Cameron. Soon afterwards, however, Chas is torn when Cameron suggests they should stop everything and run away together. Later, Cameron is stunned when Chas agrees to go with him and the two are left to comprehend the enormity of what they have just decided…
Meanwhile, Pollard is shocked when Alicia shows him the pre-nuptial agreement and asks him to lay off David. In The Woolpack, Chas is distracted as Alicia tells her about David wanting the wedding reception at the pub.
Chas questions Alicia on whether she wants to make a big production out of the wedding, and Alicia agrees, saying that when two people love each other that is what they do. However, her words hit home, as she realises there is only one person in love and that she should have said something before it was too late.
Elsewhere, Nikhil breaks up with Gennie after misreading her signals, suspecting he is about to get dumped. Charity can't believe what he has done and blurts out that Gennie is pregnant!

Tuesday
Charity is shocked that Nikhil hasn't been to see Gennie after she informed him of the pregnancy. She pushes him to sort things out with her. At the same time, Gennie tells Chas that Nikhil has decided they should take a break, and she worries about how she will cope with being a single parent. Chas assures Gennie that Nikhil will come round, but feels guilty when Gennie suggests that she will have Chas by her side.
Later in the factory, Gennie is gobsmacked as Nikhil proposes with an engagement ring. She is initially thrilled, declaring that she would love to marry him. However, Nikhil admits that he knows she is pregnant and couldn't be happier. Gennie is stunned that the pregnancy has speeded up the proposal and tells him that under the circumstances she cannot marry him. She gives him the ring back, telling him to keep it until he finds someone he loves.
Meanwhile, Cameron can see that Chas is nervous about their plans, but tells her to pack so they can leave. However, Chas feels guilty for leaving Gennie when she needs her most. Later, Pollard and Amy are ready for their afternoon out, but Val throws a spanner in the works by arriving with plans of her own. Amy is torn, but leaves Val gutted by sticking to her original outing with Pollard.
As the day continues, Amy and Pollard are shocked as Val arrives on a moped and hands the keys over to Amy. Brenda immediately accuses her of trying to buy Amy and make Pollard jealous. Soon afterwards, Georgia arrives unannounced and Charity quickly tells her that Gennie is pregnant, hoping that Georgia won't say why she has turned up. Georgia is fuming that Nikhil hasn't told her about the baby, and is even more appalled when Val arrives at the party as Rishi's date.
Jai is soon livid to discover that Charity has meddled in his parents' relationship. Georgia has a go at Val and Nikhil steps in, telling them to both back off as it's their special day. As Val leaves, Georgia and Rishi continue to argue and Jai is later shocked to hear that his parents' marriage is over.
Outside, Jai offloads to Priya about Charity and the trouble she has caused, while Nikhil is furious when he discovers that nothing is actually going on between Rishi and Val. In the factory, Jai is caught when Charity guesses his anger is all about him wanting a baby. Charity is firm - she will never want any more children…
Meanwhile, in the hospital, Zak tells Trevor about hiding the money on the moors. He is unsure whether to phone Lisa about the loan sharks, worrying in case he has imagined it. Later, Lisa is alarmed when the loan sharks turn up. Not believing Zak is in hospital, they tell Lisa about him borrowing £1,000 from them. Lisa is shocked and realises it was them that stole the money as they take more cash from the Dingle pot. They tell her the interest has built up and Zak now owes them over £8,000.

Emmerdale star Chris Bisson has insisted that an affair is not on the cards for Jai Sharma and Rachel Breckle.
Jai sleeps with Rachel at the end of next week, looking for comfort following bust-ups with his wife Charity (Emma Atkins).
However, Bisson told All About Soap that Jai's infidelity is nothing more than a drunken mistake.
Bisson commented: "The thing to remember is that they're just getting drunk together and there are no real feelings. They're both going through a difficult time and end up doing things they know they shouldn't.
"After sleeping together, Jai regrets it - but it's difficult as now he has to cope with the consequences. He begs Rachel to keep quiet, but doesn't talk to her in a very nice way and makes her feel small."
He continued: "It's a one-off - it's just two people finding themselves in a dark place and ultimately doing something they instantly regret.
"It's never to be repeated, and it's one of those things that's in a closet and hopefully won't get out. Jai's going to be constantly paranoid that this might come back and bite him on the bum!"
Emmerdale airs Jai and Rachel's shock encounter on Friday, June 29 at 7pm on ITV1.
